Three short glasses sit empty in front of CJ Weston. The deep-white circles of drinks gone-by clutter the worn table top for which said glasses sit atop. Meanwhile, Weston rolls his tongue over his teeth as if he were angry with someone. Thing is though, he’s sitting alone; before a blackened wall backdrop with worn posters over each shoulder.

 

“It’s obvious that Cliff [Anderson] wanted [brother] Grimm to beat up on us. They’ll all deny the sh*t out of it, but open your eyes -- think for yourself. Grimm had half of Cliff’s f*cking roster signed to GSW. How else can you explain that sh*t?”

 

CJ looks as though he’s still a little bent; frustrated with, what appears to be, an alliance between Cliff and Grimm.

 

“They’ll say they had ‘tension’ at this time. F*ck that. How can you have tension and take all of your best workers? They had f*cking Fox Mask in GSW -- and you’re going to say that you had motha-f*cking tension?”

 

Weston shakes his head and breaks from his anger as he chuckles to himself. It’s in a “you’ve got to be f*cking kidding me” kind of way.

 

“Grimm wanted to build his empire on the back of Cliff -- whatever. Cliff’s a f*cking idiot for letting them sign. That’s his f*cking problem. For us, we weren’t going to piss and moan about it. We were focused on driving them out of business.”

 

With that, CJ looks up at the camera; staring directly into the camera lens. You can tell that he really means what he says here; giving a rare glimpse of absolute honesty. He feels so comfortable with said honesty that he’s willing to stare directly into the lens for a good 5 seconds before the screen goes black.

<p>Really interested to see who's signing with LAX -- probably someone who can put over Rudy. I'm guessing we're getting a former SOTBPW or TCW star but I can't put my finger on who. Of course, if TCW fell to Cult in January, you may have access to a far bigger star than expected. </p><p> </p><p>

I'm happy that you've gotten through a few months without Remmy or Rudy getting poached by SWF or USPW. </p><p> </p><p>

Either way, Extraordinario Jr. will be huge for LAX. He could very well become a figurehead, but his low pop in the states will hold him back.</p>

I have an itch.

 

I had one when I created LAX Wrestling (as I had been away for awhile). It got the creative juices flowing again; getting me to think like a booker/creator again. Pretty quickly, I was back in the flow of things. Even with my limited free time, I found myself finding time to think through shows/book them and write.

 

This lead to the new itch.

 

I want to create something grandiose. When that happens, there's one company I go to. SWF. Now, I know, I have done several projects with the SWF. I've booked as Duane Fry and Jerry Eisen during this time. Each project had its own feel, it's own approach to things. That said, I would never really "touch" the company unless I felt I had new stories to tell.

 

I finally feel like I have a new one to tell.

 

I have new perspectives on some of the same characters I've booked before. I have new ways that I plan to portray/write them. This is an exciting feel, to say the least. In that vein, they won't be a carbon copy of what I've done before.

 

There are some that I feel I may "re-touch" on previous versions, fleshing them out further. In that vein, some of those stories may make their way back to the forefront; however, only if it makes sense at the time.

 

I'm going to retreat, read some projects, and put together the new one. It may take me a week or two to get everything "off the ground." That said, I have some very clear plans that I plan to work on with this new project. Needless to say, I'm excited.

I really enjoyed LAX, but this seemed to be a somewhat rough ride, with production penalties and bad luck with match grades hurting the in-game results. </p><p> </p><p> I think not having TV really made things difficult.
