October, 1996

San Francisco, California

"Man, seriously?" the teenager asked his father's lawyer in the most exasperated manner. JK Jr., as he went by, looked across the dining room table at his parents for contradicting information, but Mr. Stallings only offered a shake of his head.

"I told you son," his father chided. "You have to be eighteen years old in the State of California to incorporate. You have less than two years to go, you can make it."

"Now I would like to point out, JK," the lawyer quipped, "that there is nothing preventing you from investing in one of the "wrestling companies" in the meanwhile, but even if it was legal to start your own, you would be leaping through all kinds of hoops."

"He'll survive," JK Stallings Sr. commented. His son looked miserable there at the table with his arms folded, featuring an expression like he wanted to cry. He felt that even if his son were old enough to start a company, he was nowhere near mature enough for it. The wait to eighteen would hopefully do him good.

"Whatever..." JK Stallings Jr. mumbled, getting up from the table and marching off to his bedroom.

"Thanks for your time Tom," JK Sr. said to his lawyer. The man had been in his employ - first by contract then by direct hire - as his electronics retail business first opened, then expanded to eight locations across the Bay Area and into Northern Cal.

"Not a problem boss," was the reply. "See you tomorrow night for spades."

"Hell yes, I can't wait to take my money back," JK replied with a laugh. While showing his lawyer the door, Mrs. Stallings went back to cleaning the kitchen. Heading to his bedroom to change out of his slacks and into something more comfortable, JK Sr. could clearly hear a familiar guitar riff and a deep bellowing voiceover.

"This... is the Supreme Wrestling Federation."

JK Sr. couldn't help but grin. That boy of his sure loved the wrestling.

Captain USA takes control from the lockup, foregoing his usual holds to strike away at Wrestlebot. After ducking a clothesline, Captain USA hits a rare dropkick (poorly executed) that knocks his opponent from the ring. On the outside, Wrestlebot does his thing of taping cardboard from under the ring on various parts of his body and charging back in. Captain USA gets worn down quickly by Wrestlebot's strikes. A pair of suplexes and the Robot Crunch Bomb puts USA away for the fall.</span></p><p><span style="color:#4169E1;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#4169E1;">

Tommy Cornell hits the ring for an SWF North American Title match. Nemesis seems to miss his cue, coming out at the very end of his entrance music and in street clothes. He gets a microphone and flat-out says he isn't jobbing to Tommy Cornell. Nemesis says his time in the SWF is finally over and he can't wait to get away from both Richard Eisen and "the supreme stack of shit" the company has become. Peter Michaels and Danny Jillefski try to work his remarks, but fall silent when Nemesis flips off the ringside camera and tosses the title to the referee before jumping the guardrail and leaving through the crowd. Everybody is confused and the hang time on-air couldn't be more awkward.</span></p><p><span style="color:#4169E1;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#4169E1;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#4169E1;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#4169E1;">

... Christian Faith's music hits, bringing the fans to their feet. The badboy takes his time getting to the ring, soaking up the adoration before saying it's time to get down to business by calling out Bruce The Giant. </span></p><p><span style="color:#4169E1;">

The fans shower the behemoth with hatred as he lumbers to the ring, snapping at some kids along the way. Christian Faith says Bruce did get the better of him two weeks ago, but contrare to Bruce's promises he's still standing and ready for more. Christian Faith asks the fans if they want to see he and Bruce lock up again, and the scream their affirmation. Bruce takes the microphone and contemplates for a minute, listening to the crowd's pleas, before finally shouting a long, "</span><span style="color:#4169E1;"><strong>NOOO!</strong></span><span style="color:#4169E1;">" into the microphone. He laughs at Christian Faith and leaves the ring with a mean smirk as the fans dump even more hatred on him.</span></p><p><span style="color:#4169E1;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#4169E1;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#4169E1;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#4169E1;">

Sid Streets forgoes a lockup and charges Black Hat, beating him into a corner. A delayed strike gets ducked and Black Hat escapes, quickly locking on a half-nelson to bring Sid's momentum to a halt. Sid breaks the half-nelson and lands a side suplex to regain steam, but his control doesn't last long before an irish whip clothesline is caught and turned into a crossface. Bailey releases the hold and goes to work on Sid's arms, stetching them with wristlocks and armbars, stomping away at Sid's elbows. Sid The Kid finally gets back to his feet but eats a boot to the ribs along the way, and his retreat to a corner opens him up to fisticuff jabs. With Sid weakened Bailey goes for a belly-to-belly, but somehow Sid reverses for a near fall. The fans help their hero get fired up; Bailey feeds and bumps, but Sid's arms are too weak for him to hit the Road to Freedom, causing both men to collapse in the ring. As the referee counts the double-knockout, Sid manages to regain his footing at 8. Using the ropes for support...</span></p><p><span style="color:#4169E1;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#4169E1;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#4169E1;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#4169E1;">

... he's tripped by SWF champion Sam Keith from the outside, falling flat on the canvas and picking the disqualification victory. Sam Keith climbs in the ring and high-fives Bailey and brings the struggling Sid crashing down with a DDT as the show goes off-air.</span></p></div><p></p><p></p>
