To open tonight's show, 'The Ace' Aaron Andrews headed to the ring as promised, and introduced his 'Legal Council'...

Aaron Andrews:
“Ladies and Gentlemen... THIS... Is Percy Princeton... He is HERE, to help me bring down Dan and Jeremy (Stone)... and he is a huge fan, of ME!!”

Princeton took the microphone, and said that everyone always says: “never meet your heroes” because they'll let you down...

Percy Princeton:
“Well with 'Ace', that just isn't the case... He is the BEST man, I have ever met...”

The crowd booed loudly... and began to lose interest in the segment... But their moods lifted instantly when this man arrived!!

Donte Dunn ran to the ring, and Andrews and Princeton got ready for a fight... Dunn slid under the ropes!!

Andrews stepped away, and pushed Princeton into Dunn... who proceeded to tackle the young law man and take him down!!

Andrews and Princeton eventually got away, but from the safety of the ramp, they heard Dunn make a challenge...

Donte Dunn:
“At Summer Smash... Ace is NOT 'Done With Dunn'... You've got 'Legal Council'... You've got a lawsuit running... But the only thing you're going to get at Summer Smash... is Summer... 'Dem... Sunny... DAZE!!”

“Hey man... Listen, tonight, I'm going to go to the ring after the Main Event, and I'm going to call out James Hernandez... And I wanna know... If anything goes down with Spencer Spade and Luis Montero Jr., have you got my back...?!”

Jett said that of course he does... He said he still owes DeColt for picking him for his team in Maple Leaf Mayhem...

Joining The Announce Team

Owen Love and The Natural headed to the ring next, and joined the announce team...

They were there to watch Primed For Progress very closely ahead of their impending battle at Summer Smash for the NOTBPW Tag Team Titles...

Primed For Progress (Cameron Vessey & Christian Price) [vs] Iron And Stone (Tim Westybrook & Edd Stone)

A fascinating match in which all four men performed well. Tim Westybrook sported a slightly different look, and revealed some new tattoos as he took his shirt off to wrestle shirtless for the first time in a long time. He was the difference really, as his size and strength was hard to handle for Cameron Vessey and Christian Price. Vessey eventually used Edd Stone's momentum against him, and he smashed into Westybrook, sending the big man off the apron. Price was tagged in, and it wasn't long before he hit the 'Stud Stopper' on 'The Animal', and Primed For Progress were victorious.

Sat on the floor with his legs crossed, and a solitary light bulb swinging above his head... Aldous Blackfriar was alone, but seemed okay about it...

Aldous Blackfriar:
“They (POISON and Prometheus) tried to control my mind... They tried to turn me to the 'dark side'... But I'm from the DARKER side... You can't control me... I'm mentally TOO strong... and in two weeks, my friend who is PHYSICALLY too strong, will be BACK!! 'The King Of The Wasteland' will come to reclaim his throne!!”

Aldous confirming that Mutant was coming back to NOTBPW... The big 6'8”, 368lb monster will be here in two weeks!!

Sonny Wildside has a big opportunity at Summer Smash, as he looks to win back the NOTBPW Television Title. He's not the only challenger to Jacob Jett though, as Seeker and Sayeed Ali will also be in that match. Tonight Wildside had more than one man to deal with too, as he took on Trent Shaffer with Wade Orson doing some of his dirty work at ringside. In the end though, after a suicide dive landed on Orson, Wildside hit the top rope and delivered the 'Fear Factor' to score the win!

Gaining Early Momentum

Jacob Jett was watching Sonny Wildside, a man he respects, in action... ahead of him being one of the challengers to Jett's Television Title...

But out of nowhere, another of the challengers arrived, and blasted Jett from behind!! His former tag team partner: Seeker!!

Seeker kicked and stomped on Jett, and then pulled out a velvet back... Inside the bag, was a CHEESE GRATER!!

Seeker had used the brutal weapon to draw blood from Jett's skull in a previous 'First Blood' Match between the pair...

Luckily for Jett tonight, he got some help before things got too brutal tonight...

Sayeed Ali and his friend Lenny Brown burst into the room and ran Seeker off...

Ali stood over Jett as a referee arrived and called for help from a doctor... Jett was down and holding his ribs...

Ali then told Lenny Brown to head to the ring for his scheduled match...

'Bad Bad' Lenny Brown [vs] 'The Man Beast' Akima Brave

Lenny Brown proved to be a test for Akima Brave here, but without his mentor Sayeed Ali at ringside, he struggled to gain any sustained momentum. In the end, the powerful Samoan Brave hit a brutal cross body block that took Brown off his feet, and nearly out of his boots! Brave then hit the 'Samoan Suplex' on the stunned Brown.

Katie Cameron asked Ernest Youngman what the plan was next, after Jonathan Faust beat him last week...

Ernest Youngman:
“What's next...?! After Sumer Smash, Faust goes DOWN!! He used that staff again to take me out, but next time he won't be so lucky...”

At that moment, 'The Saviour of Wrestling' Jonathan Faust showed up, but quickly raised his hands when Youngman got ready for a fight...

Jonathan Faust:
“I don't want to fight you right now Ernest, honest... You're furious, and I get that... But we should wait until next week... Where I have a couple of friends who want to join my cause against you... You bring the Ring Generals, and we'll have ourselves a six-man tag!!”

Youngman took the match by offering a handshake, but Faust refused it... leaving Youngman even more angry!!

Robin DaLay seems to have grown in stature over night, and he continued his good form by making light work of the lanky Solomon Gold. Gold is tough to handle at times, due to his height and reach, but DaLay made sure he kept him down and on the back foot. With the referee's back turned though, Logan DeColt got into the ring and hit his Father's 'DeColt Driver', and Robin DaLay covered Gold to score the win.

Backstage KC Glenn was getting his ribs taped and checked over by a doctor, when the leader of Faith Enterprises: Faith walked in...

Faith:
“Relax Glenn... I'm not going to hit you with a TV Monitor again... I just came to tell you, that at Summer Smash, you can have Spencer Spade for the NOTBPW All Action Title!!”

Glenn looked happy with Faith's announcement, but winced as he got up off the doctor's table...

Faith went to touch Glenn's ribs, but the 'Country Strong' fan favourite held her wrist firmly... before releasing it as she backed off...

Gino Montero & Tom Gilmore [vs] Luis Montero Jr. & Jack DeColt

A fantastic way to end the final show before Summer Smash. All four of these men have big matches coming up this weekend, and they could have all done with an easier 'tune up'. Luis Montero Jr. shone to begin with, using his quickness to stay out of Tom Gilmore's grip. But once the Canadian mat specialist got a hold of him, the Mexican found it difficult to get rolling. Jack DeColt then came in, and the brawler used his power to dominate Gino Montero, and soon the ring was cut in half. Gino was in a bad part of town for a long time, and took a beating. But the former NOTBPW Canadian Champion has made a name for himself by being resilient and tough to beat. He ended up finally tagging in Gilmore, and the momentum swung again. Jack DeColt grabbed his trusty chain, but the referee took it away and Gilmore knocked him off the apron! Gilmore then locked Luis in the 'Anger Management', Jack chose NOT to help him, and he tapped out!

For the final segment of the show, 'The Outsider' Steve DeColt called out James Hernandez, and the NOTBPW Canadian Champion soon answered him...

Hernandez wasn't alone... He brought the All Action Champion Spencer Spade out with him...

The two Faith Enterprises members surrounded DeColt... and he got ready for a fight...

It was a fight to begin with, but 2 on 1 DeColt stood very little chance... His two attackers are young, and hungry...

Neither of them mind using DeColt as a stepping stone to greatness... but Hernandez will have to do that 1 on 1 at Summer Smash!!

No Jacob Jett to help DeColt, like he said he would... He was taken out by Seeker earlier tonight...

Then out of nowhere, Sayeed Ali and Lenny Brown ran to the ring... and Hernandez and Spade didn't know what to do...

Ali and Brown took the two Champions down, and they fled the ring... The CTC then helped DeColt up to his feet...

'The Outsider' reached into his leather jacket, and pulled out a brown envelope... handing it to Ali and shaking his hand!!

Steve DeColt must have PAID the Coast To Coast Connection to come to his aid in Jett's absence, and it paid off!!

These days, Seeker prefers a slower pace, and targets a body part, but he still has the ability to go high risk if and when he needs to. However, multi-person matches tend to suit Sayeed Ali the best, because he's able to use the No Disqualifications ruling to turn things into a hardcore match! In the past, we've seen Ali utilise Lenny Brown and Ross Henry as interference, but Henry is gone, and 'Bad Bad' Lenny Brown didn't appear tonight. Instead, Ali used weapons to interfere in Jett and Wildside attempting high-flying moves. A kendo stick wrapped across Wildside's knees, followed by a steel chair to Jett's back, and Ali soon gained control. Ali even dropped Seeker with his 'GBH Driver' (Double Arm DDT) ONTO a chair!! The third match, in what has been a brutal trilogy, fought inside perhaps the only structure that could contain them (think Elimination Chamber). The rules of this match were simple. Four large crates, one in each corner, containing four weapons that are legal in the match! Two weapons chosen by each man, and the brutality is limitless. It didn't take long for Jack DeColt to go for his first chosen weapon, and he opened the crate to reveal a </div></div></div><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong> HAMMER </strong></div></div></div><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> with a light blue handle! That hammer was stolen from Tom Gilmore's garage, and Jack didn't waste time before using it. He held Gilmore down on the mat, using the hammer across his throat! 'Angry' Gilmore couldn't breathe, and his head started to turn a dark shade of purple. DeColt was in complete control, and he potentially could have pinned Gilmore there and then. But he didn't want to! Curiosity got the better of the 'Wild Man', and he wanted to know what weapons Gilmore had chosen, so he went over to one of his rival's crates. DeColt found this funny, and decided to throw the strap on top of the crate, out of the reach of anyone in the match, and then headed over to Gilmore's second crate. The chair was bent over Jack's thick back multiple times, and the DeColt brother was clearly in pain. It was at this point that Gilmore wanted to use his second weapon, but he found the crate already open, and had no idea where the leather strap was. It became evident that he hadn't seen Jack throw it on top of the crate, and he didn't know it was right above him. The crowd went crazy at this point, all trying to point it out to him, and he became distracted. Jack began slowly wrapping the chain around his fist, and came flying out of the corner, but Gilmore caught him coming in with a drop toe hold! Jack's face smashed off the bottom turnbuckle, and Gilmore decided it was time for a superplex. He propped Jack up on the top rope, and then climbed up above him and began reigning punches down on Jack's cranium. Two things happened next, in the blink of an eye. Gilmore noticed his leather strap, and Jack DeColt slipped down between Gilmore's legs!! Gilmore grabbed the strap, as Jack grabbed his legs, and hit a brutal powerbomb!! The 'Wild Man' began re-wrapping the chain around his fist, but as he swung for a punch that would have certainly ended the match, Gilmore popped up with his leather strap, and caught DeColt's arm!! Gilmore sat down on the mat, and pulled Jack down by the arm, before locking it in the 'Anger Management' Arm Bar!! I'll echo Historian above, I've been a silent fan of this diary for a long while and was curious the other day if you ran any other ones, which is how I ran into your WWE one and read about this one's imminent stop. Never been much of the Canadian CVerse scene myself, but you sure made this captivating and it's worth every monthly award it won!

Thanks for the diary man. Ive said it countless times and I think even pm'ed you about it but this dairy made me fall in love with the CVERSE and open my eyes to a whole other world out there in the fantasy wrestling universe. Sad to see this go, but also glad that Mainstream came out on top

For a while I looked at this board every single day just to see if there was some new update on this amazing story you were telling. This diary really got me into the C-Verse after having not been interested in it at all. Sad to see it go. Hopefully you'll revisit the C-Verse in TEW 2020. Good luck to you with your new diary!

This was the diary I tried to keep on top of the entire time I was working, I've loved it so much the entire time. Thank you so much for your hard work! You've been a big inspiration to me for writing narrative, and for hopefully giving Canada a crack in writing a CVerse diary one day. I love Hernandez, he's my favourite non Stone or DeColt worker in Canada, and I'm so happy he got the main title nod. I just wanted to pop on here and say thank you very much for all the kind feedback there. It was a fun ride, and while I had plenty of ideas, I ran out of steam with everything. I find it easier to write for characters that I can see on TV every week (a lot), so I've returned to WWE. Found HERE. I've always had a lot of success with WWE. So how's about that contract Vince...?!
