The Quarter Finals are announced:

Brett Rogers vs Sokoudjou

Aleksander Emelienenko vs Anderson 'Braddock' Silva

Mike Kyle vs. Pat Barry

Wes Sims vs Wes Sims

I would love a Kyle Emelienenko final! I'm always a fan of Sokoudjou in the game though, so I could see that too. I'll go Kyle/Aleksander....with Kyle bringing home the crown.

TUF Predictions:

I'll Go Kyle vs. Braddock in the finals.

Kyle has been my guy from the beginning, but wow Braddock would be marketable coming off of the crown if he wins. Would have gone through some solid vets.

Excited for some of those future match ups.

Semi Final results:

Both the semi finals had something we'd not seen much of, and thats fights that went the distance. In semi final no.1, Brett Rogers continued his very impressive run, defeating one of the favorites in Mike Kyle via Unanimous Decision.

In the second semi final, Jeff Monson defeated a very game Anderson 'Braddock' Silva, who has impressed everyone with his run in the competition, despite being so inexperienced in MMA.

The Finals are set, with surprise package, Brett Rogers taking on the highly experienced veteran grappler in Jeff Monson.

Notes:

Chase Sherman took a double bonus for the event with FOTN and SOTN.

Rico Verhoeven destroyed Cabbage Correira then called out Mariusz Pudzianowski for a future bout. After Pudzianowski beat Mighty Mo later in the night, he accepted Verhoeven's challenge.

Andrei Arlovski continued his comeback with his third win in a row, defeating both Volkov and Stefan Struve by stoppages in his last two bouts.

Glover Teixeira called out Jimi Manuwa after the Cormier win, looking to avenge his loss to the Englishman. (whats up with guys calling out their last loss, first Brooks and then Teixeira)

Hector Lombard threw out Uriah Hall's name as a future opponent, which was strange as defeating Yoel Romero puts him in contention to fight a top 10 guy, which Hall is not.

It was a good night for the hosts, as New York saw hometown fighters win 5 in a row from Ryan LaFlare to Gian Villante, and then Chris Weidman winning on the main card aswell.

Luke Rockhold won the trilogy fight against Michael Bisping in a great fight, Bisping was very disrespectful after the decision and straight away left the cage and went to the changing rooms as soon as it was announced.

Notes:

Martin Kampmann not only picked up an upset in the main event, but he managed to sub one of the best grapplers in the Welterweight division. Fatigue may have played a part, but it was a big win for the Danish fighter.

Thomas Almeida handed Brett Johns his first loss of his career in impressive fashion with a big Right Hook knockout, just 40 seconds into the bout. He announced his intention to fight one of his idols in Urijah Faber next.

It was 3-0 vs 4-0 in their UFC careers, and a real future title challengers bout between Zabit Magomedsharipov and Arnold Allen, and the bout didnt disappoint, winning Fight of the Night. It was Magomedsharipov who continued undefeated in the octagon and moved to 4-0, and onto a bout against a top 10 fighter.

Paul Craig sent Darren Stewart crashing out of the UFC in a loser-leaves-UFC fight. Stewart was 0-4 and 1 no contest in the UFC after the loss.

Ross Pearson broke his 4 fight losing streak and saved his job for at least another fight with this victory.

Episode 1 - Ramazan Emeev defeated Guilherme Vasconcelos via Unanimous Decision. Emeev dominated throughout with superior striking.

Episode 2 - Hayder Hassan defeated Brennan Ward via 1st Round TKO. Hassan came out from the off, clearly headhunting, catching Ward with a big right hand and following up with ground and pound until the referee had to jump in and stop the fight. Hassan came across very cocky in this episode, and is really annoying the opposing team with his house antics.

Notes:

Jon Jones announced he was considering a move up to Heavyweight after basically clearing out the whole of the Light Heavyweight division.

Charles Oliveira shocked the world, with very few people seeing him as anything but a easy title defense for Holloway, considering he was a +600 favorite to successfully defend.

Paulo Henrique Costa was fuming at the referee stoppage at the end of the first round. Despite being dropped by Silva, Costa was covering up and waiting for the bell, before referee Steve Mazzagatti stepped in and stopped the fight. Costa asked for a rematch to settle the score on Twitter after the fight and Silva seemed to agree.

Mike Perry continued his odd feud with Rousimar Palhares with a explicit post-feud interview. He also added that he still had his eye on Darren Till, once he'd disposed of Palhares.

James Gallagher made a successful debut in the UFC, extending his unbeaten record to 9-0.

KO of the Night: Elias Theodorou (vs David Branch)

Sub of the Night: Marcin Held (vs Kajan Johnson)

Notes:

GSP's victory earned him the next shot at his very public rival, Colby Covington's newly won Welterweight Belt.

Matt Brown's impressive 3 fight win streak before this loss, with stoppage wins over Diego Sanchez, Thiago Alves and Jorge Masvidal in a combined time of 14 minutes 20 seconds.

Matt Brown said a fight against former champ, Carlos Condit would be a great fight for the fans.

Canadian fighters went 8-7 thru the night, with GSP's victory being the deciding result.

Kajan Johnson saw his 4 fight win streak broken in the co-main event, with Marcin Held submitting him. Held then called out Justin Gaethje.

Elias Theodorou and Steve Bosse both bounced back from losses, to prospects in Paulo Henrique da Costa and Erik Anders, with wins on the main card in front of their home crowd.

Bosse was a +790 underdog before his fight.

Nordine Taleb extended his unbeaten run to 3 with the main card opener, he is now 7-2 in the UFC.

On the prelims, Daichi Abe continued his unbeaten start to his career with Unanimous Decision victory over Canadian, Jonathan Meunier. He's now 8-0 (3-0 UFC).

Marcelo Golm walked away with his undefeated record intact, taking away Arjan Bhullar's undefeated record with him.

Adam Hunter pulled off an enormous upset, he was a +930 underdog with the bookies. Unfortunately for him, he failed a drugs test after the fight and it is now ruled as a no-contest.

There were alot of call outs after victories - Sergio Pettis called out Pedro Munhoz, Jason Gonzales called out David Teymur, Randa Markos called out Xiaonan Yan, and Elias Theodorou (again) called out Johny Hendricks.
