The roster descriptions has been updated and now consists of El Generico, be sure to check that post out whenever Stampede signs a new name! (and btw, there may be a few more coming...)</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Stampede Best There Is 1 will go up later tonight, and I can tell you I'm very proud of what I have for the first of the trilogy.</p><p> </p><p>

Another note, Best There Ever Will Be is gonna serve as the "Season Finale" of Stampede, it will feature the most must see match ups, and I think everyone can guess the main event already.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm pleased to announce that Best There Is I, the first ever installment of the 'Best There' trilogy, was the biggest success story of Stampede Wrestling history.

Not only was it a critical success, but it was the #1 trend on Tweeter in Canada for a short while!

And I really can't stress this enough, but without the WWE Network, we would never reach such multitude of fans around the world, so thanks to the WWE for being a great partnership for us.

But most importantly, thanks to you - the fans. I know I say this all too often, but only because it's absolutely true.

There is, however,

one

more thing from the event I would like to talk about.

Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart.

A family member in every sense of the word, he wasn't "like" a brother to me.

He was

another

brother to me.

And so, when I saw it was him who deliberately ruined William Brady's moment, I froze in place.

It felt like a nightmare, where I couldn't move, couldn't talk.

But it wasn't a nightmare, it was one of my closest friends, who just a few days before the show I ate dinner with, betraying me.

Betraying Stampede.

I know you may think it wasn't that bad, but to me, just the act of jumping the fence, it was betrayal.

Tyson Dux vs. Brent Banks:

Brent was the biggest reason for Tyson's loss at Best There Is I, and he was just waiting to let his steam out on this young man, because he made it personal.

Joey was on Banks' corner the entire time, but it didn't help his new ally, who was tasting left and right hooks from The Muay Thai Kid, mixed with some right and left high kicks with such impact that wouldn't put an MMA fighter to shame.

Tyson proved to be too much for the up and comer, until he just gained a sudden spurt of momentum, and things were looking a little better for Banks.

His high energy offense was more than Tyson could handle, and the speed was definitely not on Dux's side, all of which helped to overcome the odds and even score a pinfall, but Dux kicked out quickly.

It was that moment when a hooded figure jumped the railing and blindsided Joey Janela on the outside, laying him down and out before Banks could do anything other than running him off, security giving chase but wouldn't catch him.

The distraction was enough, because when Banks rolled back inside the ring, Tyson Dux caught him with a quick one-two punch of a Power-Breaker (Powerbomb dropped into a Backbreaker) followed by a Cradle Brainbuster for the win.

 

Winner: Tyson Dux (Brainbuster)

Josh Alexander vs. Shane Sabre:

Alexander is heading into this match with tons of momentum, while Sabre is having his first match on Stampede in a while, and it doesn't look like he can be the one to stop his opponent tonight, who had an answer to everything the Sabre Tooth Tiger had to offer.

It wasn't long before Alexander hit his TKO to win the match in convincing fashion.

 

Winner: Josh Alexander (TKO)

Hold on for one moment, I'm being told that a fight has broke down backstage!

I'm not too sure yet, let's just go backstage and find out.

not over his loss against Eric Cairnie.

Owen:

I'll get security on this right away, this can't be happening in my lockeroom.

 

*Owen leaves the table to go and deal with the situation, but by the time he's there Chakal already left and cannot be found*

Two out of Three Falls Match

Joe Hendry vs. Ethan Page:

The Local Hero faces the former North American Champ in a big match to determine Oje's next opponent, as well as a chance to show dominance over the other.

This is all about respect, something both of these men have for each other.

Hendry remembers that Page sided with him when he was facing a possible handicap match, so whenever he was able to put his opponent down, he didn't capitalize, he went for a pin and nothing more.

This resulted in many quick kickouts to start the match, but Page was starting to look slightly mad, perhaps misinterpreting the reason for Hendry's actions or just because he couldn't get his offense going against the more technical style of the Scottsman, who reigned supreme for the first 10 minutes of the match, still unable to land a pinfall.

The match took a big turn when Hendry had Page in a chain hold, which to counter, 'All Ego' went into the corner to force a break.

When said break arrived from the Jimmy, Joe of course respected it, but when the veteran referee wasn't looking, Ethan Page poked Joe's eyes, rolled him up and scored a surprise pin!

1-0 to Ethan!

Page started kicking and clubbing the downed Hendry, until Jimmy had to get him back to check on Henry.

This gave him enough time to recover, and he looked disgusted by the actions of the former champ, which backfired on him quickly, as Hendry started being much more aggresive, able to hit a Trip Around the Globe (Inverted Powerslam), and even out the score!

1-1!

Back to square one, only one pinfall away from the end of the match, the two stepped up their game and it was like a match just started, seemingly no stamina was drained from them.

They started trading blows, crowd fully in with a chorus of boos when Page landed a strike and cheering when the Local Hero gets a shot back.

It was Page who got the upper hand from this exchange, and he was able to hit the ropes and land a big lariat to give him momentum, followed by his Simple Ass Legdrop.

He waited for Hendry to get back on his feet and finish the job, but that didn't work out well for him, as Joe channeled the crowd's support and reversed a Total Package Piledriver into a Hendry Slam!

NO! Page kicks out in the nick of time!

But Hendry didn't let go of the gas this time, instead locking in the Hendry Lock!

Will he force the two time champ to tap?!

Page was too close to the ropes though, and Hendry had to let go before getting DQ'd.

Frustrated, Joe was to think of a way to finish it off, and looked to hit his Freak of Nature!

But Page wouldn't let it happen, kicking his way out of harms way, he hits a Spinning Dwayne (Sambo Suplex)!

Hendry kicks out!

This one is not over yet!

Page is out of breath, trying to argue with Jimmy but it wasn't even close, Hendry kicked out well before the three count.

Page was heading to the top rope for an unconventional move perhaps, but it proved to be a big mistake, Joe climbed it right after him, was able to knock him out, and went for a massive Freak of Nature!

The crowd couldn't believe this is going to work, and Joe wasn't so sure too, but after getting himself together, he actually went for it!

The Local Hero wins with a Freak of Nature like no other, and this isn't the same Joe Hendry who entered the match, this is a man with a mission in his sight, the North American Heavyweight Championship!

The Hearthrob clocks The Local Hero of Stampede and lays him out!

And Stampede is looking more and more dangerous by the minute when even Owen's own son is attacking blindsided opponents.

wasting any time on his foe, looking like a mad man on the loose, left and right hooks hitting the forehead of the 3rd generation star to the point where Jimmy had to hold him off and bring out to corner him or push him to the ropes to force a break, and it worked every time, Brady was blind to the tactics used on him, which eventually worked to Teddy's advantage, when at one point Brady was separated from him, Teddy punched him right in the eye when Jimmy couldn't see it, resulting in a shift of momentum in the match.</div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div hand, Jimmy was almost hit by him several times, and it started to look more like a threat than an accident, and The Terminator was looking to end this with a
