Really liked the show. Joe was especially written well. The X-Division was awesome at this point too, good job with the XScape match.

Bobby Roode v Chris Harris

Lockdown Xscape Qualifying Match

Alex Shelley v Austin Starr v Sonjay Dutt

And another one. Expecting any of these three could get it, so went slight preference. Starr is better as Aries, just as Senshi is as Low-Ki, but this is time period accurate haha. Sabin will probably get the third spot.

Abyss v Jeff Jarrett

Optional Questions

Who do you think attacked Paul Heyman? Rhino

Starr and Shelley trade punches until Shelley throws Starr off the rope and hits a dropkick. He then runs of the rope and hits a leg drop on Starr before running off the ropes again but Dutt comes back in and hits a springboard dropkick to Starr and Shelley goes into the corner. Starr gets up and attacks Dutt with a club to the back. Starr then runs and hits a jumping dropkick to Shelley in the corner. However, Dutt comes back in and hits Starr with a few forearms to the face and then a dropkick to Starr's knee, on his hands and knees, Dutt runs off the ropes and uses Starr's back to jump up and hit a hurricanrana on Shelley. Dutt then goes for the Sonjay Cutter on Starr but Starr counters it into a German suplex but only gets a two. He then hits a springboard twisting splash but Dutt puts his feet up to kick him in the face right and he turns into a shining wizard from Shelley. Dutt then gets up and runs at Shelley but he jumps up and Dutt runs underneath but Starr low bridges Dutt and he falls out of the ring. Aries springboards in with a flying forearm and picks up Shelley for the Brainbuster but Shelley counters it and lifts up Starr into a fireman's carry and set him up for the Shell Shock and he hits it, 1.... 2.... 3.

Winner: Alex Shelley

Rating: D

<img alt="B3hXBny.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/B3hXBny.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="PqBsW57.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/PqBsW57.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Backstage Heyman stands around thinking, when Christian Cage comes into view, NWA belt over his shoulder.

Cage: Hi Paul, look I get you're trying to recreate a revolution and yadda, yadda, yadda but this whole thing about Joe and Kurt challenging me again is ludicrous. He throws Jarrett in the corner and throws vicious punch after vicious punch. The ref separates the two as Abyss then hits a splash in the corner and Jarrett drops down, sitting in the corner. Then he runs and crushes Jarrett in the corner. He goes over to Jarrett and picks him up he goes for the Black Hole Slam but Jarrett reverses it into a reverse STO. Jarrett and Abyss are down but Jarrett is up first, he stomps Abyss a few times but Abyss doesn't notice as he gets to his feet and hits a choke bomb on Jarrett but only for a two. Jarrett rolls to the outside and Abyss follows him. Abyss slaps Jarrett's head off the steel steps before taking the stairs apart but Jarrett attacks him and returns him to the ring. Jarrett looks to attack again but Abyss strikes Jarrett and throws him into the corner and goes for the splash but Jarrett grabs the ref and Abyss splashes them both. With the ref and Jarrett down, Abyss leaves the ring and looks under it and he gets out a bag. He goes into the ring but Jarrett low blows him and grabs his guitar, he opens the bag, it's tacks and he empties them into the guitar. BANG!!!! TNA Impact Predictions

Lockdown Xscape Qualifying Match

"Black Machismo" Jay Lethal v Brother Runt v Elix Skipper

Bobby Roode & James Storm v Chris Harris & Eric Young

Team 3D (Brother Devon & Brother Ray) v Voodoo Kin Mafia (B.G James & Kip James)

Jeff Jarrett v Rhino

Optional Questions

Any thoughts on last show?

If TNA could get anybody from the WWE at this time period, who would you like it to be and why? (Try and make it realistic, don't say Cena or Batista, they would never consider TNA)

Would you have watched Cage/Joe/Angle in 2007?

Are you pro/against Russo's return?

Something I've done in this diary compared to my C-Verse diaries is I have put a lot more into the matches, even on TV. I write out moves and sequences I believe would be something that TNA would produce and I rarely do that for my other diaries, what have you thought of the match write ups so far?

It went well! I was surprised that Steiner didn't get a peep in that opening promo

Yeah, I wanted to give him a few lines but it seemed redundant, then again most Scott Steiner promo's are so maybe it would have worked, I'm kind of trying to find something for Scott to do and I haven't really found anything other than being with Cage in Christian Coalition.

Optional Questions

Who do you think attacked Paul Heyman?
Vince Russo - swerve

Very well done. It's been the plan from the start.

Aw, son of a bitch.

I enjoyed this, read it in JR's voice.
:p

Jeff Jarrett v Rhino

Any thoughts on last show? Solid stuff, you've got an interested reader in me, for sure.

If TNA could get anybody from the WWE at this time period, who would you like it to be and why? Looking back at WWE's roster at the time, there's TONS of people I'd think fit into a still surging TNA.

- Rob Van Dam was on his way out anyways.

- Marcus Cor Von had history in TNA as Monty Brown. Unfinished business if you ask me since I always thought it was a missed opportunity by TNA to make him champ.

- I know it's controversial, but Chris Benoit is a good veteran to help things out.

- CM Punk is right on the cusp of being a superstar and could be built a little bit more (maybe even the face of the company, or close to it) with TNA, who houses a lot of his friends that he got some pre-WWE buzz with.

- Shelton Benjamin (Charlie Hass, if you want a package deal), Carlito, Chris Masters, Paul London and Brian Kendrick are all still young with potential, but personalities might be an issue. Could be worth a shot to take any of them.

Would you have watched Cage/Joe/Angle in 2007? Yeah, for sure. Should headline any PPV not named Bound for Glory, that seems fit for Angle/Joe imo

Are you pro/against Russo's return? Aw, son of a bitch <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

But seriously, I'm not sure yet. Definitely shocked, that's for sure.
