Was a tough choice between the modernized "old" WCW and the WWF's version of it, but I went with the WWF's version. It resonates with me.

Love this diary, just read through it now and I love the realistic direction.

I believe it was Kijar who said it earlier, but I'll second it, I love the classic names heading into development... two of my favorites... "Mr 630" and "The Alpha Male"... Really fun read.

I voted for "what was next" as I really like that logo; hence why I use it in my WCW. Plus it was already all over the place before WCW even closed down, so it's a pretty easy transition were this a real life thing and you would have to deal with rebranding and all.

As I realize it was uses in the latter days of WCW, its almost why i was hesitant to use it. It does seem to be the favorite.

I'm a big sucker for the old WCW logo, so I picked that one.

I am also a huge sucker for the Original logo. It's iconic to when WCW was great. It fits the direction i hope to take the company in, But it does scream old school

Those classic names are there for the foreseeable . Not going to clutter the roster with new stars just yet #Realistic.

Obviously I don't know how the voting it going (I too went for the "what was next" option) but of the six I could only see it being a three horse race between the original, the next and the WCWE version, the other three are a bit generic, and I'd guess the original and next would be the forerunners....incidentally, I know it's pretty much universally panned, but I didn't mind the current logo, and if you're wanting to move away from the "worst times" of WCW, then it's probably best to stay away from the Invasion Logo

Following the accusations and attacks from last week, Booker T is under the spotlight this week on Nitro, with an announcement already made just last night, that the Steiner Brothers will team up and take on Booker T and his Brother, Stevie Ray, in a Harlem Heat one night reunion to open the show. Thanks to the evil powers within the Magnificent 7.

Also this week is the appearances of Kevin Nash and Goldberg, to answer the questions of the Mystery attacker. Did Booker T do it? Did he have help? Is someone setting up Booker T? WCW C.E.O Eric Bischoff hopes to get to the bottom of it this week on Nitro.

After last week's Win in the Tag Team Tournament, Leg Luxer and Buff Bagwell will be in singles competition against both members of the WCW Tag Team Champions, The Natural Born Thrillers.

Monday Nitro opens with Eric Bischoff, Jeff Jarrett, Ric Flair and Scott Steiner in the ring. The music then hits in order of Booker T, Kevin Nash and Goldberg, who all come out to a great pop from the live crowd. Bischoff waits until everyone is in the ring before he begins to lay down the law in WCW. Stating to everyone in the ring, that he is not here to mess about tonight. Bischoff tells everyone in the ring that he is sick and tired of all the mystery attacks, that he has an Amnesty available to who ever is behind the attacks. Bischoff tells all the men in the ring that by the end of Nitro next week, he wants the culprit or culprits to come forwards and stop the attacks. He proceeds to say that who ever it is, will have their jobs secure if they come clean, however if they are too coward or want to play in the shadows for longer, he will personally fire them on the spot and banish them from WCW FOREVER!. With that, Flair butts in and says that he has been speaking with everyone backstage and the fingers seem to be pointing at just one man, which is when Steiner points at Booker and says “Its You”. Booker then takes to the microphone to defend himself, but things get heated between him and Steiner, who has to be held back and helped out of the ring by Jeff Jarrett. Goldberg then takes to the microphone, but gets interrupted by the live crowd who chants “Goldberg”. After the crowd dies down, Goldberg thanks Bischoff for allowing him back into a WCW ring as he misses the place so much. Goldberg then threatens Bagwell and Luger, saying he will get them back, but not by attacking them like a coward. He denies being behind the attacks, saying he’s a man who fights face to face, and note a man who scores points by blindsiding people. Flair then gets back on the microphone and walks up to Kevin Nash. Flair says “What about you big guy”. Nash then says that he is glad to see each and every member of the Magnificent 7 suffer because they have caused him nothing but hell. He says he will happily shake the hand of whoever is behind beating them down, but he's got too many witnesses putting him miles away from the Arenas, when the attacks happen. Flair then turns back to Booker and says “well i guess we are back to just one suspect again”. Booker offers no explanation or his innocence, he just says that they have what's coming to them. Booker then says he’s done with the stupidity of it all and he cannot believe his Brother has been dragged into it. Booker says for everyone to leave so he and his Brother can get to business and kick the Steiner Brothers a** and get back to Wrestling and not Politics. Bischoff finishes up by reminding everyone in the ring that the Culprit has just 7 days to come clean, or face the Wrath of the WCW C.E.O.

Harlem Heat vs The Steiner Brothers

The match starts with Scott and Booker Brawling in the ring, before Stevie Ray and Rick Steiner make their way to the ring. The referee has to separate the two, along with their partners, before he can officially ring the bell to start the match. Booker and Rick start the match and throughout the match, both Steiner's isolate Booker from his corner and the tag. This goes on for some 7 minutes before Booker manages to make it to his corner and tag in his brother. After Stevie Ray gets in the ring, he hits a few moves on both the Steiner's, before the numbers become to much and he is also overpowered. This is when Scott takes Ray to the ground and locks in the Recliner, forcing Stevie to tap out, as Booker tries to get back in the ring, but has his foot held by Rick, to stop him breaking up the submission.

Backstage after the match and after the commercial break, Rick Steiner is talking with Animal in the locker room, as he takes off his wrist tape, when the lights go out and a whole lot of noise can be heard. When the lights come back on, both men are out cold on the floor and there is nobody else to be seen.

Back in the ring and one half of the WCW Tag Team Champions is taking on one half of the #1 Contenders and member of the Magnificent 7. The match shows off both Luger's power and Palumbo’s striking ability. Although an evenly skilled match, its the #1 contender who manages to pick up the victory after locking Palumbo's into the Torture Rack.

Backstage Booker T is talking to his brother who is in the medics room, when Goldberg walks in. Goldberg says it's disgusting how the Magnificent 7 are treating him. Goldberg says he believes Booker is innocent, but that it's not him who needs to believe it. Booker shakes Goldberg's hand and thanks him. Booker says he hope to see Goldberg back in WCW one day, that he will champion that.

Following the commercial break, the camera’s run towards a loud commotion, where a bunch of wrestlers are gathered. Once the camera cuts through the crowd, they find Leg Luger out on the floor, marking the 3rd member of the Magnificent 7 to be attacked tonight.

Back in the ring and Shane Douglas is on the microphone. Douglas calls Sting a spreader of lies and false truths, Douglas says he is not and has never been afraid of Sting. He says that they just haven't crossed paths yet, however he wants him out in the ring right now to prove to everyone that he's not hiding from the US Champ. With that, it's the Music of Disco Inferno that hits. Disco comes to the ring and tells Douglas that he knows hes not scare of Sting. Disco says why would he be scared of an old man who has to paint his face to hide the age. He says maybe DDP should follow that advice too. With that the Music of DDP hits and out he comes to the stage. DDP says he is tired of the disrespect from Disco, that he and Sting are cornerstones in WCW who are paving the way for guys like him, and should be given a little more respect. DDP challenges Disco to a match tonight, but as he says it, the Music of Sting hits and out comes Sting to join him on the stage. Sting says that he's glad to come face to face in the same arena as Douglas and offers DDP an interesting proposition. Sting says why not tackle two birds with one stone and team up for a tag match. Let the Old Guard teach the New Guard a thing or two. Both men head to the ring and the Referee rings the bell.

Sting and DDP vs Shane Douglas and Disco Inferno

After the bell rings, all 4 men begin brawling in the ring, with Sting and DDP clearing house. After getting back in the ring, Disco begins to taunt DDP and Sting, Dancing and doing on the spot exercises, shouting “i bet you can do that anymore”. After tagging Douglas in, the match takes a more serious note, but Douglas taking the match seriously, telling off Disco at ringside. When Douglas tags in Disco again, he stands at ringside and get annoyed, shouting at Disco to take it seriously. Sting then proceeds to beat down Disco, before allowing him to crawl to his corner and tag Douglas. It's with that that Douglas drops down from the apron, refusing the tag and leaving Disco to defend for himself, as he walks up the ramp, annoyed. It's with that, that Sting then drops Disco with a Scorpion Death Drop and picks up the 3.

Backstage Lance Storm and Mike Awesome are having a heated argument in the corridors. While they are arguing, Dusty Rhodes walks up the corridor and interrupts them both. Dusty tells them that they are both great wrestlers and if they can sort out their problems, they could be the best tag team in WCW. Storm and Awesome then continue to argue. Dusty interrupts again and says, why don't they settle things in the ring and shake hands after the match. He says it may help clear the air and settle any frustrations they have. They both just nod and walk off in opposite directions as Dusty is left standing there. Dusty then just mutters “never a dull day”.

After the camera cuts from Dusty Rhodes, it cuts to the men's restroom where EMT’s are attending to Scott Steiner who has been attacked, mountain to 4 members of the Magnificent 7 being attacked tonight. Steiner is loaded onto a stretcher as he is unable to stand. He is then lead to an ambulance which takes him out of the arena

Sean O’Haire vs Buff Bagwell

Back in the ring and a very worried looking Bagwell makes his way to the ring to face the other half of the WCW Tag Team Champions in a one on one match. O’Haire and Bagwell have a good chemistry in the ring, with both men seemingly working well with each other. Throughout the match Bagwell is jumpy and keeps checking over his shoulder when he's in control. This ends up becoming too much for the #1 Contender, as O’Haire manages to hit Bagwell with the Widow Maker, to pick up the Victory.

Backstage and Mean Gene is with “Big Sexy” Kevin Nash. Gene asks Nash what he thinks of the current situation in WCW with the recent attacks. Nash tells Gene that first of all, it's great to be back in WCW after some time away. Nash says he thinks the attacks are just a form of Karma for the Magnificent 7. Nash says he can't wrestle in WCW because of them. A problem he is currently seeking legal advice about, after the change in ownership of WCW may prove a legal ground of appeal. Gene asks if Nash has any interest on coming back full time, to which Nash says he misses being on the road and can't wait to be able to “Get the band back together again”. Nash then shakes Gene’s hand, thanks him for doing such a great job and makes his excuses to leave.

Backstage Buff Bagwell is seen walking to his locker room, with a pace to his walking and a jittery feeling about him, constantly jumping at anything that moves or any loud noises. As Bagwell gets into his locker room and closes the door, he clicks the lock before smiling, taking a deep breath and picks up a water to drink. With that, a masked man comes running from the attached showers and attacks Bagwell before the lights are turned out. A lot of noise can be heard before the door is then unlocked and the light shines in, on the downed body of Bagwell who is laying on the floor, out cold and the attacker is nowhere to be seen.

After the commercial break, the camera’s are in the office of Ric Flair. Flair is pacing the floor and screaming loudly about everything that has happened tonight. Flair turns to Jarrett and asks him what they should do as it's just the two of them left. Jarrett tries to console Flair who is pacing like a mad man. Jarrett tells Flair to settle it once and for all with Booker T tonight. Jarrett says he's the only man it can be, and that while he's having his a** kicked in the ring, he can't hurt anyone else. Flair agrees and tells Jarrett to hold on tight as he will “Finish it” tonight

Cash, Elx Skipper, Kid Romeo, Evan Karagias and Shannon Moore vs Rey Mysterio, Shane Helms, Kaz Hayashi, Yang and Aguila

Back to the ring and there is a 10 man Cruiserweight tag team match with a new face in the Cruiserweight Division, teaming up with Mysterio, Helms and the Jung Dragons. Aguila makes his way to the ring with a Mexican flag over his shoulders. During the match, Chavo and Kidman join the commentary team and throw insults at each other. Both men say they will defeat the other, and announce their place in the Cruiserweight Bash at the Great American Bash.

Mysterio is by far the star in the match and is currently the #1 face of the division. However tonight's victory comes from Kaz Hayashi, who pins Kid Romeo for the victory.

Backstage Ric Flair walks back into his office to see Jarrett, when he finds him on top of the remains of his table/desk. Jarrett is unresponsive to Flairs attempt to get him up, leaving an utterly panicked Flair to call for help and security. Flair tells Jarrett not to worry, he will make Booker T pay.

Back from commercial break and team Dusty Rhodes are sat in the corridor laughing with each other when Flair walks by. Dustin stops Flair and asks how it feels to be bullied and scared in your job. A shaken Flair doesn't have a comeback, but just pushes him aside and walks off at pace.

After a short recap of what's ahead at WCW Great American Bash, we find the camera’s in the men's locker room with Ric Flair stood talking to both Kanyon and Shawn Stasiak. Flair asks them both to help him tonight, to take down Booker T and break every bone in his body so that he can never hurt any more of his friends again. Kanyon and Stasiak agree after Flair promises to pay them back with a favour each if they help beat Booker tonight.

Booker T vs Ric Flair, Kanyon and Shawn Stasiak

When the final commercial of the night airs, Flair, Stasiak and Kanyon are in the ring awaiting Booker T. Booker's music starts, to a loud pop and out walks the former WCW Champ. From the beginning, all 3 men beat down Booker T, doing move after move after move, toying with him the whole time. After countless finishers, Flair pins Booker, but keeps lifting his head and shoulders off the mat before he 3 count. Flair then tells Stasiak to get a chair. With a chair in hand and Kanyon holding Booker, Stasiak swings, but hits Kanyon. Booker then falls to the floor along with Kanyon as he's exhausted and beaten to within an inch of his life. It's then the turn of Flair to hold Booker up, Stasiak swings back to hit Booker with the chair again, but Booker once again ducks ant he's forced to hit Flair. A shocked Stasiak goes to check on Flair, but gets rolled up by Booker for the shock 3 count. Booker then quickly rolls from the ring and gets out of the ring as fast as he can, hightailing it up the ramp.

Winner: Booker T

Following the match, Flair gets to his feet and slaps Stasiak. Flair shouts at him before making his way up the ramp, followed by the cameras. The camera follows Flair through the arena corridors as Flair checks everywhere for Booker T. Flair eventually makes his way to the parking lot where he screams Booker's name in frustration. With that, a group of Masked assailants appear from behind the parked cars, with weapons in hand, slowly walking towards Flair. A Shaken Flair realizes he can do nothing and picks up a nearby Tyre jack and goes in swinging. Flair sadly stands no chance as he is overpowered quickly and gets himself on the wrong end of a brutal beat down.

It's with that, that the doors to the parking lot open and Nash and Goldberg walk through, having a light hearted conversation. Upon seeing them, the masked assailants open a nearby car trunk and Bundle Flair into it. The assailants then scatter, leaving one of them to speed away in the car at high speed, as Nash and Goldberg realize what is happening and go to give chase, but to no avail. Leaving Nash and Goldberg looking out into the opening to the parking lot, confused and shocked, to close out the show.
