Week 4, October 1995

Nitro results in Blue, Raw Results in Red

Results, Matches, Angles

Q1: IT’S ANOTHER EDITION of the best show on Monday nights (according to the announce team), as tonight’s rundown is interrupted by the music of HULK HOGAN! He’s dressed to compete! As he makes his grand entrance, ERIC BISCHOFF hypes the man of the real champ that everyone wants to see! THE SHARK follows soon after, and our opening bout is on! - B- l Match 1: In a good match, Hulk Hogan defeated The Shark in 9:29 by pinfall with a Leg Drop. The Hulkster spends the first few minutes of the match, riling up the fans, but isn’t he usual energetic self (maybe not too pleased about being the curtain jerker). This is your standard Hogan monster match, with Hulk withstanding the blows of the powerful Shark to deliver a leg drop for the win. - B- l MEAN GENE HITS THE RING post match to get a word with the WCW World Heavyweight Champion! Gene first presses Hulk about the actions of MACHO MAN RANDY SAVAGE, but the Hulkster doesn’t know what’s up with Macho, and he can’t care right now! He’s gotta be focused on The Giant! Hulk sends a message to his challenger: with the power of the Hulkamania at his side, he shows no fear! TASKMASTER leads THE GIANT out, and the pair staredown with Hogan, before Giant bursts into a evil laugh! Buy the PPV! - A

moaI4HY.jpg?1WIQa4IS.jpg?291T1T1o.jpg?1

Q1: WWF MONDAY NIGHT RAW starts off with VINCE MCMAHON in the ring, introducing the new WWF World Heavyweight Champion, RAZOR RAMON! “The Bad Guy” takes a moment to reflect on his win, saying that he had his fair share of doubters, including himself at points, but he’s the champ now, chico! He’s number one, so if you want to piece of him, don’t sing it, bring it, chico! CAMP CORNETTE charges the ring after this, with Jim Cornette throwing accusations at Razor! Cornette says that he knows that Razor paid off TED DIBIASE to take out DIESEL before the main event, and he doesn’t have the heart of a champion! Razor is ready to throw down, belt on the line, but GORILLA MONSOON appears! Nobody is getting a title shot tonight until he’s got the opportunity to investigate! They can have a six man tag team main event, and Razor can find two partners, but that’s it! His decision is final! - B+ l MATCH 1: In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Marty Jannetty & Savio Vega defeated Dean Douglas and Bob Backlund in 5:47 when Savio Vega defeated Bob Backlund by pinfall. The upset of the century! Savio and Marty finally get a shot to display their incredible tag chemistry on the big stage, while Dean and Bob’s relationship continues to crumble. They make the most of this opportunity (despite Savio not living up to the limelight), as a dropkick from Marty Jannetty stuns Bob Backlund enough for Savio to nail a spinning leg kick in surprisingly quick match! - C+

Q2: TONY SCHIAVONE STANDS BACKSTAGE with a happy EDDIE GUERRERO who says he’s got two reasons to be happy. 1: he just saw Hulk Hogan bring it to The Shark, and he knows he’s gonna take it to The Giant, and 2: he’s formed a team to take on 3 of the DUNGEON OF DOOM at Havoc, as he introduces two men from offscreen: CHAVO AND HECTOR GUERRERO! He’s always happy to have family around, and they’ll prove to the Dungeon what it means to be a Guerrero! - D+ l Match 2: In a bout that had sub-par wrestling and little heat, The American Males defeated Bunkhouse Buck & Dick Slater in 7:13 when Marcus Bagwell defeated Dick Slater by pinfall with a Yellow Jacket Suplex. THE AMERICAN MALES face their final test before they head to Halloween Havoc to get another shot at the tag team champions HARLEM HEAT! With Parker at ringside trying to swing the match in the favor of his boys, the Males out wrestle his clients to get some more momentum heading to Havoc. MONGO thinks these boys look ready to win the gold! - C

moaI4HY.jpg?1WIQa4IS.jpg?291T1T1o.jpg?1

Q2: SPLIT SCREEN BABY! With his bruisers hanging out behind him, Ted is all smiles, enjoying being the man of the hour - our public enemy number one - as VINCE grills him to find out some answers. Ted laughs off revealing where he got the money, who paid him off, and why he did it, before Gorilla enters the room, pointing at Ted - “you, my office, now!” - B l TRANSITIONING FROM THAT TENSE ENCOUNTER, Colosseum Video supplied us with stills of the casket match between UNDERTAKER and KING MABEL. King mourns over the loss of a royal in the WWF, before the gong hits! Taker is in action! - B

Q3: POST MATCH, HARLEM HEAT join their challengers in the ring, with Booker T showing a little respect to the young tag team - the Heat know that they won’t be an easy challenge! But the Heat know that they’re better, and they’ll prove it when everyone is barred from ringside on Sunday! May the better team win! - C+ l MEAN GENE IS BACK IN THE RING and introduces his guest -“MACHO MAN” RANDY SAVAGE! Gene asks Macho about his actions last week, and Macho explains it as “Paranoia, Paranoia, yeah!”. Hulk knows that Macho can beat him for the gold, and won’t let him challenge, and Lex knows that Macho is the man in WCW, and can’t stop riding off his coatails, dig it! Macho can keep going, but his point is almost proven, as LEX LUGER walks out! Lex says that ever since he returned to WCW, Macho has doubted his ability to hang with the big boys! So why doesn’t he put up or shut up! Lex wants Macho Man at Havoc, and despite Macho no longer wanting to share the spotlight, Macho accepts! - B

moaI4HY.jpg?1WIQa4IS.jpg?291T1T1o.jpg?1

Q3: Match 2: In a decent match, The Undertaker defeated Skip in 10:18 by pinfall with a Tombstone. While Undertaker was busy burying Mabel, Skip was embarrassed in the ring by AHMED JOHNSON at In Your House! Due to this, Skip has something extra to prove against the powerful Undertaker. These two received plenty of time to tell a story on this, with Skip using his intelligence and advice at ringside from SUNNY to try to take down Undertaker. But, Undertaker is just too much, nailing his signature moves en route to another victory. - B l COLOSSEUM VIDEO IS BACK The footage highlights Bret’a comeback, as he stared down King as Yankem submitted to the sharpshooter! King says that Bret’s win was only a fluke, and challenges him to a Survivor Series match! It’ll be the King’s Court vs Bret’s losers! - B-

Q4: MAIN EVENT: In a decent match, Big Bubba Rogers and Brian Pillman defeated Sting and Johnny B. Badd in 12:35 when Big Bubba Rogers defeated Johnny B. Badd by pinfall after a low blow. While this is still a solid main event, it’s more “break” then “make” for Johnny B. Badd, who served as the weak link on his team, was off his game, and displayed no chemistry with Sting. Maybe too soon for Nitro main events for him! It’s an even match, with both members get time to mix it up, until Pillman wore down Sting to build to the finish. Badd gets the hot tag, runs wild for a little bit, but a well placed low blow allows Big Bubba to make a big statement and pin Badd, just days before Havoc! - B- l STING CHARGES INTO THE RING to make sure that Big Bubba doesn’t do more damage to Badd, but he makes himself a sitting duck for an attack from Pillman! The Loose Cannon uses Sting’s US gold to lay out the champ, before raising the belt up himself! Cackling, Pillman mounts Sting to rapidly hits shot after shot on the champ, but he’s bailed out by… RIC FLAIR, ARN ANDERSON, and DEAN MALENKO! The Horsemen clear the ring from Pillman, who wisely realizes the odds and retreats. When Sting comes to, he can only see Flair, Arn and Dean hold up the horsemen hand signal. “Let’s make it happen Stinger!”, shouts Flair, as Nitro closes on a shot of a rightly confused Sting! - B+

moaI4HY.jpg?1WIQa4IS.jpg?291T1T1o.jpg?1

Q4: In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Camp Cornette (Owen Hart, Yokozuna and The British Bulldog) drew with Ahmed Johnson, Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon in 13:23 following a double count out. Electricity fills the air in this one, as the fans feel that Razor did a great job selecting his team, cheering loudly for the entrances of Ahmed Johnson and SHAWN MICHAELS. It’s an open match that sees every man get their spots in, highlighted by Ahmed Johnson trying to take it to Yokozuna, Bulldog working desperately to make up for his main event defeat on Saturday against Razor, and Owen and Shawn picking up their technical rivalry over the past few weeks. Eventually, New WWF Champion Razor Ramon nailed a Razor’s Edge on Owen, but his two count was interrupted by the remaining members of Camp Cornette. When the babyfaces ran in to back up Razor, the referee soon lost control of the match, as the trios brawled to no conclusive finish. - B l RAW IS CHAOS! Camp Cornette jaw and brawl with Ahmed and HBK in the ring, Razor keeps on the sleuthing Ted and SID, who have appeared at ringside, DIESEL limps from the back to get his hands on Million Dollar Man! As a hoard of road agents and security run out to save Raw from self destruction, an exasperated Gorilla Monsoon stand on the ramp, trying to maintain order! - A*

Good show with IYH! Quite a few surprised in there to me, especially how the main event played out. I didn't expect a change like that until a bigger show, like Survivor Series. I also am curious where you go in the coming months with Bret and Taker. Being faces, they aren't really in a good place to challenge for the strap, but there isn't anything else you can really send them. Except for Bret, who at this point I look to be fighting Lawler until Mania.

While Survivor Series might have been a better time for a big change, I have all three men booked for Survivor Series tag team matches at this point, so, as apposed to waiting until December, why not pull the trigger now?

The Bret and Taker conundrum is a tough problem I’m having with the WWF, which is too babyface heavy right now (much like WCW). I don’t want to rapidly turn some folks heel, so you’re right in saying that Lawler will continue to serve as a top heel moving forward.

Though I will hint that there are a few more heels incoming that should be able to make some noise…

Vega/Marty

Kijar’s love of either Savio Vega and/or Marty Jannetty scores him the upset pick! If it’s both men, I’d say we have to let “To Kijar, With Love” carrying on in an alternate universe!

Dean and Bob - After their loss at IYH, they either get a win over the White Meat Babyface Squad or they split.

Savio Vega and Marty Jannetty vs. Dean Douglas and Bob Backlund

Comments: Hopefully Douglas does not end up on the bad side of the clique

I think Dean’s gotten a bad roll, since his in ring performances haven’t been too impressive, and he’s not really gaining traction right now. I think the Dean gimmick stinks, but I’ve used him in past 1995 saves to success. Maybe he’ll have to try another company soon….

Bonus: So Camp Cornette feel like they'd be too easy a target for this. It's almost gotta be someone outside the box. Even to say it was Razor or Shawn feels too simple. I could almost believe it being Hunter Heast Helmsley, because he would have the money to buy the services of Dibiase and company, but instead I'm gonna call this out of left field and say Vince McMahon put out the hit, revealing him as the evil Mr. McMahon, with his reasoning being that Diesel was such a lousy champ that he needed to ensure someone else got the belt.

No comment on whether this prediction is actually right or wrong, but I will say that in-game, Diesel was (and still is) a good figurehead.

When you put a hit on someone it means you're saying you'll pay money to whoever takes said person out.

Jaysin’s got it! Sorry for not being exactly clear about it nobby! Basicially, Ted saying “it’s just business” implied that his boys were getting a payoff for taking out Big Daddy Cool.

And Jaysin, welcome! I have no clue if the quote was for your predicitions as well, but heck, take the points anyways.

Speaking of points...

Twas my love for Marty Jannetty. Vega is a decent talent, but I just really go for the "forgettable" guy in the tag team more often than not. Aka The Jannetty instead of the Michaels. :p Glad it paid off.

Halloween Havoc time! As bad a show as this is in hindsight, when I was 11 years old I used to love the real life version and watched it repeatedly.

Hulk Hogan - While I don't think you'll be going with the whole "Jimmy Hart put a clause in the contract that Giant gets the title if Hogan is DQ'd" I do think that there will be a disqualification here. Giant is too much of a huge deal in WCW that he shouldn't be lining up to take the big bodyslam and leg drop for the pin here.

Brian Pillman - "Make it happen Sting" is going to be code for making Pillman the new champ at the hands of the new fourth Horseman, I can feel it.

Blue Bloods

Dungeon of Doom - The only way they lose this one I feel is if you are on your way out of the DoD story entirely. Unless you want Sullivan to close the book on them tomorrow on Nitro, they should probably go over. It's one thing for these guys to lose to a three man team of Hogan, Sting, Savage, or Luger; the Guerreros should be taken out after a spirited battle.

No Contest - Luger and Savage are too big for one to truly go over the other in their first meeting. Dungeon interference likely.

Sabu

Big Bubba Rogers - I think Bubba would make a great TV champ, you can build him as a very strong heel running the division.

Harlem Heat - No distractions makes the Heat easily go over.

Hawk - Hawk takes this one and then bides his time until you can sign up Animal.

MOTN: Sting vs. Pillman

Titles: 1

Rey: Konnan

Fall: Chavo

Arena: Concession stand

For the WCW World Heavyweight Championship:

Hulk Hogan© vs. The Giant (with The Taskmaster)

Comments: No way on God’s green earth will Hogan agree to job to the Giant at this stage of his career.....hopefully it’s some kind of rage DQ victory, not the Orange Goblin Big Booting, Bodyslamming and Legdropping the Giant to oblivion

For the WCW United States Championship:

Sting© vs “The Loose Cannon” Brian Pillman

Comments: I’ve changed this pick five times.....I really want Pillman to win, but will Sting agree? If he does it may be a DQ/Count-Out deal that keeps the belt on the Stinger.....the Horsemen are involved somewhere

The Nasty Boys vs. The Blue Bloods (with Lanny Poffo)

Comments: I expect a poem from Lanny at some point, just so you know :p

Los Guerreros (Eddie, Chavo & Hector) vs The Dungeon of Doom (The Shark, Meng, Hugh Morris)

Comments: DoD need a win if the Giant is getting Hoganised....Hector or Chavo can take the fall to save The Latino’s Heat brother

Lex Luger vs. “Macho Man” Randy Savage

Comments: Another one I’m torn with, another one I can see ending in DQ

Falls Count Anywhere

Alex Wright vs Sabu

Comments: Sabu is the favourite, Das Wunderkind gets a fluke win after Sabu crashes and burns

For the WCW Television Championship:

Johnny B. Badd © vs. Big Bubba Rogers

Comments: I would have no problem with Bubba vein the TV Champ

For the WCW World Tag Team Championships:

No one allowed at ringside

Harlem Heat© vs. The American Males

Comments: Meh, I never liked the American males

Road Warrior Hawk vs. Kurasawa

Comments:

Bonus Questions:

Match of the Night?: Sting/Pillman or Luger/Savage....I’ll go Luger/Savage because Macho can get a great match out of anyone given enough time

How many titles change hands?: 1

Rey Mysterio will make his debut tonight, who will interrupt him?: Someone said Disco, that’s a decent shout

Who takes the fall in the six man tag match?: Chavo

Where in the arena will the deciding fall of the Sabu vs Alex Wright occur?: Somewhere near a balcony that Sabu can fall off

Booker again proves to be the more skilled brother, mixing it up with both Bagwell and Riggs. Stevie isn’t that far behind, serving as a powerhouse against his toned opponents. The Males are able to get a few near falls - enough to convince the crowd they might pull it off - highlighted by Buff hitting a blockbuster - before Heat shut it down and retain the tag team gold.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Grade: C+</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong><span style="color:#FF8C00;">POST MATCH: </span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> Heat are handed their gold in the ring, embracing a somewhat positive reaction from the WCW crowd! Tony quips that it looks like Badd’s been going to boxing practice recently! Despite this, Big Bubba looked for the kill, taking control during the pivotal moments of the match. The dangerous SABU has been making waves with his extreme style, and ALEX WRIGHT has put it upon himself to stop the man by playing his own game! This is no DQ, and no count-out, but the folks at Turner won’t let this match go too crazy. Sure, the two go wild with some brawling on the outside, but don’t spend too much time roam around in the crowd, or backstage. This match goes as far as the ramp, when THE SHEIK gets a table for Sabu, who lays the downed Wright on it. Sabu somehow manages to climb the Halloween themed Turnertron, and jumps, delivering a sick flying leg drop through the table! Sabu gets the pin fall on the ramp, as Tony and Brain put over Sabu as a man who will push himself to the extreme to get a victory.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Grade: B- </strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong><span style="color:#FF8C00;">BACKSTAGE:</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> MEAN GENE is backstage again with a new guest, this time it’s THE TOTAL PACKAGE! This match honestly deserved more time to develop here, as it’s an old-school back and forth match, with the two trading basic moves and posing, and the warm reception to Lex in this contest draws the ire of the Macho Man. The rest of the match sees work as a reluctant heel, working over his powerhouse opponent, as Halloween Havoc cheered the former driver of the Lex Express on. A rest hold sees Lex mount a comeback, but Savage ultimately slips out of a Torture Rack, knocking out Lex enough to nail a Elbow Drop for the pinfall.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Grade: B </strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong><span style="color:#FF8C00;">IN THE RING: </span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> Macho Man embraces the cheers of the crowd, getting a huge win at Halloween Havoc! EDDIE is able to counter and outsmart HUGH MORRIS again, who nervously laughs at the frustrated glares of SHARK and MENG. Some quick tags sees HECTOR AND CHAVO dropkick Shark into his corner, where he can tag in the monsterous Meng. Meng is the real bad ass on the Dungeon’s team, and he proves it by overpowering Hector Guerrero and making him pass out to a Death Grip.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Grade: C+</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong><span style="color:#FF8C00;"> ON THE RAMP:</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> MEAN GENE is on the ramp again to interview the man who has been hyped over the past few weeks - it’s REY MYSTERIO JR! The masked man embraces a warm reaction from the crowd, as Gene asks him about his goals now that he’s signed to WCW. Rey smiles, and says that he wants to try hard, be his best, and live up to the family’s legacy! Gene looks to ask about a budding cruiserweight division in WCW, when the familiar footsteps play, and THE HORSEMEN come out! Flair offers a handshake to the rookie (which he appropriately denies, pushing his hair back), telling Junior to hit the bricks, as the Horsemen have something to say. Rey knows the odds, and backs down (only after sharing a short stare down with DEAN MALENKO), as Flair talks about offering a spot to STING last Nitro. Naitch knows that Sting thinks he doesn’t need them tonight, so they’ll keep their nose out of his business tonight. Naitch also states the offer still stands, and the Horsemen are willing to wait for a bit - but not forever! Clock is ticking!</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Grade: B-</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong><span style="color:#FF8C00;">MATCH 6: In a decent match, The Blue Bloods defeated The Nasty Boys in 8:58 when Lord Steven Regal defeated Jerry Sags by pinfall after using Brass Knuckles.</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> A Fall Brawl rematch sees two budding tag team contenders - the posh BLUE BLOODS and the dirty NASTY BOYS - face off in a tag team grudge match. The Blue Bloods are frankly disgusted by the antics of the Nastys, who want blood after only getting a victory by disqualification last month. The Nastys look to brawl, but the technical superiority of the Bloods allow them to isolate Knobbs in their corner. However, they can only control for a bit, as Knobbs comically makes Eaton and Regal headbutt each other, before handing the hot tag to Saggs. Jerry runs wild, but spots the dastardly LANNY POFFO hop on the apron, as the referee instructs Poffo is hop down, Regal is able to smack Saggs with some brass knuckles, getting a tainted win at Halloween Havoc. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Grade: B-</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong><span style="color:#FF8C00;">BACKSTAGE:</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> ERIC BISCHOFF makes his first (and only) appearance of the show, interviewing Sting prior to his United States defence against Brian Pillman. Pillman is just as athletically gifted as Sting, but his crazy attitude gets him the advantage in this back and forth match. Pillman truly pushes Sting to the limit, but Sting feeds of the energy that the number two babyface in WCW produces! Sting withstands all of Pillman’s offence, but a few shortcuts sees Pillman regain the advantage towards the end of the match. But, when Pillman looks to close the door, an exhausted Sting cradles up Pillman and gets the win to retain.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Grade: B</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong><span style="color:#FF8C00;">POST MATCH:</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> Pillman seethes in the corner, nearly pulling his hair out, as the tired Sting can barely hold his arm up in victory. As Sting falls to his knees on the mat, Pillman snaps and strikes! Laying in shot and shot, and pushing off the referee who tries to stop him, Pillman effectively knocks out Sting. Not satisfied with his work, Pillman grabs a chair, and lays shots on the back of the current United States Champion, before a swarm of road agents pull Pillman away!</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Grade: B</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong><span style="color:#FF8C00;">ON THE TURNERTRON:</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> The crowd gets a chance to catch their breath, as the folks at home are treated to a hype video for the main event. The match is slow, with Giant keeping control of the match, and hogan selling like death to put over the youngest of his backstage friends! The damage is eventually too much for hogan, causing the champ to slide out of the ring. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> As head referee NICK PATRICK’s count grew and grew closer and closer to 10, the Taskmaster rushed to the Hulkster, only to run his struggling enemy back into the ring. The Giant continued to lay on the punishment much to the enjoyment of the taskmaster, choking him on the mat with his large feet and slamming him over and over again.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> The Giant would then lock the champ in a Bearhug, hoping to drain the life out of the Hulkster. But, the Hulkamaniacs eat it up, cheering for their hero to bust out of the hold! Hogan somehow manages to withstand the pain, hammering the Giant on his back to break out of the loosening hold! Hulkster shakes his head - he’s not going down that he easy! A couple punches staggers the Giant, and Hogan goes off the ropes to attempt to knock the Giant down. The Giant senses it coming, using Hogan’s momentum against him to toss him out of the ring. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> Hogan is again left to struggle on the floor to beat the 10 count, as Taskmaster looks to again toss Hogan in the ring. But, JIMMY HART appears at ringside to assist the Hulkster, getting into the face of the evil Taskmaster. Bad choice, as Taskmaster clutches Hart but his shirt collar to do some damage. But, Hogan sees this, and hulks up! You can’t mess with his friends! A huge punch sees Taskmaster loss his grip of the “Mouth of the South”, and Hogan heroically charges into the ring!</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> Hogan is able to counter the initial offence of The Giant, ducking under his strikes and firing back! Giant is staggering, as Hogan is able to nail right after right! Backing the big man against the ropes, Hogan whips Giant off the ropes, nailing a big boot to get the Giant down for the first time in the match! Hogan is feeling and fueling this electric crowd, as he bounces of the ropes to deliver a leg drop… and the Taskmaster runs in to blast Hogan, making him lose all momentum!</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="color:#FF8C00;"> </span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="color:#FF8C00;"><strong>In a bout that had fantastic heat and great wrestling, Hulk Hogan defeated The Giant in 16:20 by disqualification when The Taskmaster ran in and attacked Hulk Hogan. He shakes off the blow from The Taskmaster, lifting him up and nailing a big slam! This has given The Giant a chance to recover, as he grabs the Hulkster by the throat and hits a huge Chokeslam! Helping his Taskmaster to his feet, Giant and Taskmaster share a laugh at the fate of Hogan. As Jimmy Hart looks on with fear at ringside, Taskmaster instructs the Giant to lift Hogan up again for another chokeslam. Despite the shouts of growing number of road agents at ringside, and the pleading of Jimmy Hart, Giant delivers - slamming Hogan right through the ring! Brain is at awe at the might of The Giant, and Giant and Taskmaster walk out of the ring, pleased with havoc they have caused! Tony ends the night on a somber note - wondering how the Hulkster will recover from this, as men rush to the ring to try to help him out! </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong> Grade: A</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;">GRADE: 85/B+</span></span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> BUY RATE: .86</span></span></strong></p></div><p></p>

<p>There it is folks! Havoc was posted later than expected, just couldn't find the time and motivation to post during last weekend. Hope y'all enjoyed! Let's check out those comments:</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Kijar" data-cite="Kijar" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="45641" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Twas my love for Marty Jannetty. Great Havoc, with a few things I didn't see coming (like Johnny B Badd get the push of his life with a victory over Bubba, who was still credible enough to be getting World Title opportunities around this time....albeit on tv not PPV, but still) and the (possible?) slow heel turn of the Macho Man continues....one of these two needs to turn eventually, the face side of the main event is too stacked....that Hogan/Giant match pulled out a great grade too considering the Giant is still (game wise) a virtual no-one.....well done Orange Goblin
