awesomenessofme1
One thing I want is the ability to make a narrative which would send someone to jail, make them die, etc. As of now, you have to have a scandal or something set pre-game to do it. I'd like to so that we can set it to occur during the game. (Operation Lullaby shall succeed) You should put this in the suggestions forum. That's the only place where it's guaranteed to be seen. TheGhost
Very interested in the new financial system. I always thought low tier unemployed guys as wayyy to much. This will be a very nice change of pace. Not too thrilled about the slider bars being taken away, as I find it easier to mess with, but I am sure typing in contract amounts will not take very long to get use too. Travis
So happy about the updated finances aspect. I've always been the one guy pestering on about finances and micro managing stuff. Now if only a hotdog was a suitable "bonus" for the guys making $10 a show, lol, or does that fall under catering?

But this should make for interesting scenarios for people starting from $0/0 popularity and just doing organic mods in general(which I usually do before the first real world mods come out).

I hope EWR style sponsors make a return as well. There was something a little more immersive about seeing a real life company(or more) sponsoring your show rather than it being a generated line item at the end of the month. Keep up the great work Adam, I might buy multiple copies when the game comes out just out of appreciation!
Harts4Life
As someone who works on the independent scene both behind the scenes and at ringside (as a manager), I am happy to see the worker wages being more accurately reflected at the local/small level. It always irked me to see the lowest tier workers asking triple digits per appearance. There shouldn't be downsides asked for until Regional level popularity. Noone gets a downside if they're regularly being booked on a Local sized show. Not even backstage folks.

Historian
I am very excited about the financial changes -- as I imagine it will greatly improve the experience playing as small, independent companies. As someone who plays a lot as local/small companies [MAW and RMW are my bread and butter], the ability to save money by having talent that is legit cheap will help. Having say, a roster of guys making $50-$75 on a show as opposed to a roster of guys making $500 despite having no popularity will really help.

Now you can have a tag team that collectively makes $100 and becomes affordable to book as opposed to having to spend $800-$1,000 (or more on the team). I'm very excited to see how these new finances play out and how they help smaller companies survive and not get swallowed up.
ChairToFace
Loving the new financial aspect. From the way it sounds, it will work similar to how it does in WMMA 5.

Will we also we able to determine a company's finances by typing them in rather than selecting an amount of money from a scale?

marsupial311
A box for typing salaries instead of a slider bar is the best update.
awesomenessofme1
I gotta be honest, I don't care about this change. I thought the way the old system worked was fine and I'm a bit worried about what's it's going to take to balance it. That said, if they can balance everything, it's not going to be a negative, so I'm not complaining at all.
King Bison
Grateful for this change! I typically start as local companies and always thought it was ridiculous that I was paying guys with 0 pop and poor skills $100+ For an appearance when I have buddies on the indies who are lucky to get 50 bucks and a sandwich most nights

Sharkn20
I like this new salary system, the Top Workers in TEW2016 can be had with any company as the gains will outgain their salary always, even if you have 10.
shawn michaels
Love what was announced so far, but hoping for the rest of it. I would love unlimited pay, or at least 1M a month. And other crazy pays, like Lesnar deals amplified to extremes. With the way the money spending has been increasing not only in wrestling but even sports and every other business, it is only gonna get bigger and bigger when it comes to payment possibilities. And smaller for the low tier. Working free, or something similar, would have been cool, because we know it happens in backyard feds and small time promotions, especially for new guys, but I get it that it could be abused. And to be honest, abuse or not, It wouldn't feel like a real booking sim If I couldn't pay something to my workers. 10 bucks seems perfectly fine.

Great stuff Adam. Keep it coming. I truly hope this game's release date comes earlier than anticipated. Can't wait for it.

stratusfaction
I'm loving the most recent entry. I can not wait to start a local promotion and it be more realistic.

I'm hoping this change also makes it a little more balanced when it comes to running a cult or above company because right now as it stands, I pay my people pretty well and no one complains and no matter what I do, I never lose money.

Kinda random but I downloaded EWR last week and played it for the first time in like 15 years and I must say that I really miss how sponsorship was handled back then. I like how only sponsors that are interested in your company will sponsor you and I also like having names attached to my sponsors instead of just a dollar amount.

I also really liked how you had to hire writers and medical staff members. I don't think smaller promotions would need to hire these types of staff members but maybe larger companies would need to.

There is so much good stuff from EWR.

Cena's last major run he made $10,000,000 a year, we couldn't get a breakdown of how much of that was from house-shows and merchandise royalties. Brock's last know contract was $24M over 3, that was his top end, he got more from merch, and special events. So just under 5M is actually still not quite up to current standards, and with AEW in the mix and spending that number will likely go up not down over the next couple of years.

So this still seems a little behind the times for me. Hopefully, though, we get more control of expenses going forward and starting from local should be much more smooth.
