Much like their thrilling bout at The New Beginning in Sapporo last year, Kenny Omega had Jay White up in the air for a One Winged Angel, but the challenger slipped out from the hold and had Omega locked in for the Blade Runner. White moved his body - looking for the finish - but Omega countered the BR by latching onto White's arm and planting him with a Kota Ibushi-esque Kamigoye!!

White's eyes rolled to the back of his head as the lights were on but nobody was home. Omega decided that he best not take up any more time for this defence, jumping down for the vicious one... two... three! to retain the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.
