10. S-1 Festival ~ B-Block: Hirokichi Yoemon [6] def. Greg Gauge [12] (17m34s) with a Yoemon Stretch Clutch [76]

- Eventful day in Fukuoka! The city of Fukuoka turned into "Upset City" when the B-Block saw two surprising results. First when Kazuhiko Nakao was smarter than Morimasa Kato and got his second tournament victory via countout. Kato and Nakao brawled in the crowd, when suddenly Nakao hits Kato with a Yakuza Kick out of nowwhere at 16 and went into the ring at 19. The Choke specialist wasn't amused about the result and choked a young boy into unconsciousness.

- In the main event Hirokichi Yoemon did one of his occasional upsets as he beats Greg Gauge surprisingly with his Stretch Clutch. Gauge was the dominant man but was too cocky at the end and got caught with brutal forearms which lead to the Yoemon Stretch Clutch out of nowwhere.

- After a grueling tour the A-Block finally finished. At the end it came down to two surprising men: Outsider Munemitsu Senmatsu from Warrior Engine XXV and freshly joined Yoshinaka Taku. It was a battle of heavy exchanges between these two warriors, however the more experienced guy had the better end for himself when he caught Taku with a brutal Forearm strike following by a Deadlift German Suplex for a 2.9! Senmatsu scored with the Super Smash Lariat to finally get the three count and the block win.

- A match prior to the main event WCG World Champion Razan Okamoto and former WCG Tag Team Champion Sotatsu Sarumara had a banger of a match. In Fall the two had a singles match at the WCG Trophy tournament, which saw Okamoto as the winner. Today it was different when "The Armlock Wizard" crushed Okamotos dreams, to get a loud roar from the crowd. Senmatsu took a microfon and said that he's not done with his career and would love to have a titlematch down the road.

8. S-1 Festival ~ B-Block: Morimasa Kato [13] drew with Greg Gauge [13] (30m00s) when the Time Limit expired [79]

- Bunrakuken Torii did his homework versus Warrior Engine XXV fighter Zeshin Makioka winning with his Spinning Forearm Smash to receive another two points. Torii lost to Kato and Gauge, so he needed a draw in the main event. Said and done! Kato and Gauge fought for thirty minutes, but none of them could get the job done to advance to the finals against Munemitsu Senmatsu. It was the first draw in the history of the S-1 Festival, which was Torii's luck.

- Senmatsu versus Torii at Saitama Sports Field in six days. "Machine Gun" was already eliminated and still went to the finals. The former BCG Champion turned on his Black Terror Unit allies to find a more respectful way into White Canvas Grappling and his new attitude brought him to the finals. The full matchcard is going to released soon, a WCG Junior titlebout is already confirmed with Kinji Akamatsu as a challenger against champ Japanese Phoenix.

Kita may scored the win against Toshinobu, but it was Suzuki who provoked Yoshinaka when he's slapping his dad across the ring.

- What a match! Both men did not back down, they gave everything to win the S-1 Festival 2017. A big roar from the crowd when Senmatsu hits his Release Powerbomb only for a two count. The WEXXV-Veteran waited to nail his Lariat, but Torii cowered, hit two Lariats to prepare his Forearm Smash for the three.

Bunrakuken Torii: "What a ride it's been for me. The fans are amazing, and i regret all of that B.T.U. bullshit. I fought for the black-white today against Senmatsu, who has been an absolute killer in this tournament. I'm tired."

Razan Okamoto: "I respect Sarumara, but he don't get it in his head that he's only in row #2. Sorry Sarumara-san, but it's not 2009 anymore, old man."

Sotatsu Sarumara: "All these young dudes out there, talking shit about us vets. I don't like him [Okamoto], he's a arrogant prick. I will teach him a lesson, break his arm and capture the crown who was originally my destiny."

Hitomaro Suzuki: "It will be very interesting to see what Yoshinaka will bring to the table. He beat me before, so he might be a bit cocky. Taku? Come and bring your A-game."

Japanese Phoenix: "I'm in love with this promotion. It's super exciting here. I will defend my belt around the country in that ring against everyone."

Another STEP UP show. Just toying around with some of the young boys and the juniors. I did a huge makeover on the rosterpage, put some Juniors in factions. I know that some boring stuff to do it without an angle etc., but it's common to put guys in factions without a big angle, too. So here you go.

Ratings keep getting better and better. A nice crop of youngsters, some veterans that can still go and then a few rookies still on the come up. Obviously the rookies aren’t producing much when they’re not being hidden amongst the actual core of the roster, but that’s okay. Plenty of time for them to get on the come up.

Can’t believe you didn’t go all the way with Munemitsu Senmatsu, but I guess Bunrakuken Torii needed his moment in the sun to reflect his new allegiances.

Sakura Destiny 2017

Just going with some big thoughts on the already announced matches...

Razan Okamoto dropping the title to Sotatsu Sarumaru would be a nice gold watch for the veteran, and perhaps help establish that despite having all the candidates of acehood, Razan Okamoto is actually something of an outsider (despite being a loyalist) and has a lot left to prove himself as the face of White Canvas. Sarumaru could drop the title to another big name, and Okamoto could chase. This is a scenario where I might have picked Munemitsu Senmatsu to be in, to take the title of Sarumaru and let Okamoto chase him to get the title back as a result. Somehow though, I think Okamoto retains clearly and sets up another challenger.

In the second bout, of Suzuki vs. Taku, I'm a lot less sure on Suzuki's chances. You don't seem to be as firm on him as I am personally, and I know Taku has impressed in the various dynasties 2016 has had. Taku could very well win this match to free up Suzuki for some other matches, and Taku himself could bring up some guys with some great matches. So Taku for the win.

Next, the World Tag Team titles... eh. Since White Justice dropped out of the scene and a lot of the current rising stars (native or otherwise) came in, I'll admit to have been a little lost on the rankings in this division. But it is a first defense for OWARI, and Forlorn Hope isn't really so good that they can step in and take the titles away on merit.

Junior Heavyweight title defense... Japanese Phoenix is your best guy in the weight class, unless you decide against all odds to drop down Razan Okamoto for no good reason. Chess Maniac is good, but he's not over in Japan and JP literally is Japanese Junior Heavyweight Wrestling. So Japanese Phoenix for the win.

<p>Love your thoughts:D</p><p> </p><p>

I'm just thinking about how i'm going to boost the stuff into 2020. Thinking about only post one "road to show" which should be the televised show and the most significant of them all to advance faster than i did the last months.</p><p> </p><p>

Btw this dynasty is one year strong in real time:cool:</p>

<p>I mean, I think I've suggested before just doing a summary of each tour in the leadup to the big shows. </p><p> </p><p>

Has it really been a year? Man, you've really hit your stride, laying out stories and tours as you have. A lot of people wouldn't have gotten past the first three shows.</p>

TOUR RECAP

It's the second time that Sakura Destiny is a tour for White Canvas Grappling. Last year Sakura Destiny host the first S-1 Festival, which culminate in an war between Funakoshi and Hitomaro Suzuki not only for the tournament win, also for the inaugral WCG World title. After a grueling schedule Sakura Destiny tour 2017 only hosts five shows outside of the tour finale at Sakura City Gymnasium.

Hanami Cup: We've got two ambitious finalist as Keisuke Arashi won his A-Block with a last day victory over Eikichi Itou and Nobuhiko Serizawa who beat Shuzo Utagawa on the last tour stop to get the B-Block win. Arashi and Serizawa will battle for the young boys cup at Sakura Destiny 2017.

Big win in Miyagi: Local boy Yoshinaka Taku managed to get a big win over WCG National Champion just days before their bout at Sakura Destiny. Taku pinned Suzuki with his Full Nelson Bomb in front of the home crowd.

Old versus young: In several tag matches between the Main Unit and xDREAM two men clashed many many times. There is talk of Kimitada Yanagita and Motoyuki Miyake. Yanagita wasn't involved in this years S-1 Festival due to his fast decline over the last months. However "The Dog Of War" was pissed, Miyake was pissed also - Perfect match.

"No Respect for you guys.": The tale of Sarumara and Okamoto is something. After Okamotos arrival, Sarumara invited Okamoto to join their war against the B.T.U. However Okamoto declined the offer, said that he's going to create his own group to fight Funakoshi and his allies. The relationship got scars immediatly. Okamoto then has beaten Sarumara at the White Canvas Trophy, while Sarumara got revenge at the S-1 Festival. Sarumara told the crowd in Hokkaido that he has no respect for Okamoto at the moment, it may change if he can beat him in Sakura City.

After the match Phoenix stated that there's no Junior who can beat him at the moment.

- What a masterpiece by Azumamaro Kita. His S-1 Festival run went not that successful but he let the big brawling Koichi Kajiwara give up in his dangerous Octopus Stretch for OWARI's V1. The WEXXV team did great damage with their brawling antics, however OWARI managed to survive with fierce holds and technique.

<details><summary>http://shuyaku.de/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/regions.png</summary></summary>

The Forlon Hope left, a new challenging team arrived: The Ring Generals came down to the ring to challenge OWARI to a titlematch in the near future. Narahashi asked the crowd if they want to see the fight which will lead to loud "Hai" chants.

Hitomaro-Suzuki.pngcyGXwG9.pngt8x9H4Y.png

Hitomaro Suzuki © def. Yoshinaka Taku (16m01s) with a Suzuki Lock [77] (3rd Defense)

- You have to be right when you say "Suzuki is WCG". The National champion fought with his new home against an invading Black Terror Unit and now focussed on Rogue Squad. However Taku was the opponent today and the second generation wrestler gave Suzuki a good fight. The champ escaped Takus Full Nelson Bomb when he rolled down to the match and hitting Takus neck with a brutal Knee Strike. The Suzuki Lock was too much for Yoshinaka!

<details><summary>http://shuyaku.de/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/regions.png</summary></summary>

Suzuki knew that he's going to get a challenge from this man: Greg Gauge. The leader of the Rogue Squad pinned Suzuki in a multimen match at the beginning of the year and has beaten Suzukis friend Kazuchika Nagai before Nagai left to WLW. Gauge challenged Suzuki, which the champ accepted.

Of course Vanzycha, Harker and Gauge ambushed Suzuki - Komiya, Snow and Torii made the save for the champ.

RazanOkamoto.pngcyGXwG9.pngsarumara.png

Razan Okamoto © def. Sotatsu Sarumara (19m34s) with a Brainbuster Suplex [81] (3rd Defense)

- Okamoto and Sarumara did a great job entertaining the crowd with their fight. The crowd was behind Sarumara, praying for a titlechange to the veteran. Okamoto escaped Sarumaras Arm Lock by reaching the ropes at the very last time, which cost a lot of energy. The Dreamcatcher knew that he had to land his Knee Strike properly to finish the fight. The Senzai Ishiki Knee Strike hit Sarumaras neck twice, the Brainbuster Suplex finished the fight.

- After the match Razan Okamoto stands tall over Sotatsu Sarumara with the WCG World Heavyweight Championship over his shoulders. Again Okamoto sticked his hand out for a handshake, this time Sarumara answered the gesture and shook Okamotos hand.

- When Sarumara left the ring, Okamoto told the crowd that he's happy finally get the respect from Sarumara after this war. However his next challenger are queuing, but he wants a very special person next: Munemitsu Senmatsu! The WEXXV man pinned Okamoto on the first day at the S-1 Festival, the Champ knows he has to beat him before he can continue.

Greg Gauge: "This is your NATIONAL champ? Pfff... I will win the title, bring that thing to America and will rename it to the INTERCONTINENTAL championship, peasant."

OWARI: "Wow.. Forlon Hope are big mean guys. We're glad that we could beat them, it wasn't easy to apply the Octopus Stretch against that meaty guy. However, Ring Generals are next. Quiete an interesting team, similar tactics. Bring them on"

Just caught up on everything again, and I'm still loving it! I'm trying to sink my teeth into and catch up on the Japanese scene in the C-Verse before TEW2020 comes out, as I was mainly a T-Verse player this game cycle. Your dynasty is showcasing a ton of the guys outside of the bigger companies. Kudos CGN, gonna try to not wait two weeks before I read again lol.

Thanks mate. That's music to my ears :) When TEW 2020 is coming out i'm going to rush right to the japanese scene and look at all the changes and stuff. It's my favourite part to see all those changes in the world.

Thank you, it really motivates me to keep going, despite my english skills lol I would love write a bit more, but am not confident with it. Hope to be a bit faster now with posting shows to advance more quickly in game.

I have to say i love a bigger roster, because i like to switch between guys on tours. I'm satisfied with the guys in that roster, although i have to tweak the Juniors more. I will release come guys and try to snap up some more suitable wrestler.

- After having a dispute with Yanagita, Motoyuki Miyake had some harsh words with former Tag Champion Sotatsu Sarumara. They even shoved each other after the match, young Miyake slapped Sarumara across the face. The two had to kept apart.

I'm trying a different approach just like joemurphys great NJPW diary where he posted only one televised "road to" show :)

<p>Thoughts: </p><p> </p><p>

1. Can't believe Stone Yoshikawa just walked into a title shot. If I was an already signed junior, I'd be asking what gives. </p><p>

2. Your tag team title defenses are something else. What a strong core group you have to carry them. </p><p>

3. Yoemon works as a early challenger. Not sure what this means for Yoemon Dojo, though. Will they line up against Gauge and the gaijin?</p><p>

4. Forgot about Torii winning the festival. Figured Senmatsu might have been a transitional guy.</p><p>

5. Not really losing anything with those 4 guys. Well, I guess Brody's decent, but he wasn't going anywhere for you at this point. Surprised GCG hasn't gone for Petr Novak. He'd be a star in any GCG I booked, that's for sure!</p>

PRESS CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS

~ WCG president Junnosoku Fukazawa announced that White Canvas Grappling renamed the WCG National Championship to WCG Intercontinental Championship.

~ WCG World Heavyweight Champion Razan Okamoto said that he has a history with Torii while being in Black Canvas Grappling. The "Dreamcatcher" believed that he's better than back in BCG and the more complete wrestler than Torii.

~ Bunrakuken Torii agreed with Okamoto that his opponent is way better then years before, however he didn't agree with Okamoto's other statements: "I don't go into his mindgames. He can talk all he want, i will be champion."

~ "I said it before it's my destiny to be a champion and be called a Intercontinental champion. No japanese guy is in my league and Fukazawa knows that. Yoemon's win at the S-1 Festival against me was a fluke.", said Gauge to the press today.

~ Hirokichi Yoemon wants to proof something: "I beat him before. I'm the reason he did not participate in the finals. I may be old, but i've got fighting spirit and will submit him."
