I am running an SMW 1994 dynasty in which I've created an alliance. I plan on having a big event every month. 6 of those months will be strictly SMW events, while the other 6 will be SMW/NAW (NAW is the name of my alliance) events. I am having trouble coming up with 12 names. I am not creative enough at thinking of names, and am seriously thinking about just keeping some of the event names that are already there for the SMW only events, and then for the SMW/NAW events, just using random names. Unless someone has some good suggestions?

<p>I love creating event names. The opportunities are endless.</p><p> </p><p>

2 things I like to do are:</p><p>

1) Look up names of SMW historical events and put a spin on it.</p><p>

(use <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smoky_Mountain_Wrestling" rel="external nofollow">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smoky_Mountain_Wrestling</a>)</p><p> </p><p>

2) Create names based on the month/season (without being corny. "May Day' and "Spring Fling" are NOT an option. LOL)</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I'm very happy to help you narrow it down. <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Ok, so I for SMW shows I used a play on their (best) show names, and for your Alliance cards I leaned on the old NWA show names (not WCW). I always treat December as the "Big Year End Show" so it needs an applicable name.

This is what I came up with:

J - Night Fever

F - The Rumble of War (amalgam of ChiTown Rumble and WrestleWar)

M - Gold Madness (maybe a "night of champions" type of event?)

A - BlueGrass Combat (amalgam of BlueGrass Brawl and Capitol Combat)

Ma - Volunteer Vengeance

J - Great American Summer Show

Ju - Freedom Blast

A - Fire on the Mountain (it was a cool enough SMW name to keep as is!)

S - Bak 2 Skool (This is one I almost always use for my Sep shows!)

O - Parade of Havok (Amalgam of Halloween Havok and Parade of Champions)

N - Thanksgiving Thunder

D - StarChaos (Amalgam of Starcade and Christmas Chaos)

This was a quick doing, but maybe you'll like some of them...?

January: Kickoff or Genesis - Kickoff as a football reference because the Super Bowl was in January until 2002 or Genesis which means the origin of something, as in the beginning of the year.

February: Massacre or Tough Love - Massacre in reference to the St. Valentine's Day Massacre or Tough Love just as a reference to the love theme of Valentine's Day.

March: In Like A Lion or Luck of The Irish - In Like A Lion as in the expression of March coming "in like a lion and going out like a lamb" or Luck of The Irish as a reference to St. Patrick's Day in March.

April: Fool's Gold - April Fool's Day is on April 1st.

May: Mayhem - Play on words without being too corny in my opinion.

June: World Series of Wrestling - College World Series of baseball takes place every June.

July: Don't Tread On Me - Patriotic expression with a hint of violence that ties in well with wrestling and the 4th of July holiday.

August: Heat of the Moment or Dog Days - Heat of the Moment references August as one of the hotter months of the year and Dog Days references the "dog days of summer" that end in late August.

September: Fall Brawl - Just always liked this name and it fits well with a company from the time period you're in. You'll have to "pretend" you bought the name from WCW or something though.

October: No Guts, No Glory - The guts part of the expression ties in well with Halloween, without having a direct reference to the Holiday in the overall name. This name would also work well for July.

November: Feast or Famine - Self-explanatory reference to Thanksgiving.

December: Fade To Black or End of the Line - Fade to Black if you're a Metallica fan, and End of the Line if you aren't.

<p>I like to go with super corny cheese. Two that I use are:</p><p>

<strong>Slamtom Menace</strong></p><p><strong>

Symphony of the Fight</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Another strategy that I use is look at Blazblue and steal their names (it's a fighting game with an anime style and has completely nonsensical names)</p><p>

<strong>Calamity Trigger</strong></p><p><strong>

Chrono Phantasma</strong></p><p><strong>

Continuum Shift</strong></p><p><strong>

Central Fiction</strong></p><p><strong>

Bloodedge Experience</strong></p><p><strong>

Chimelical Complex</strong></p><p><strong>

Variable Heart</strong></p><p><strong>

Alter Memory</strong></p>
