You got quite a few I had wanted as well, such as D-Bry (he was like, my #4 pick ), Davey Richards, Daisuke Sasaki (You chose him literally the round I was like: 'Hey, Sasaki is still on the board, I'll draft him in the next round.'), Ricochet, Tommy End, Io Shirai, and Paul Heyman, to name a few. Also, while I'm here, I'll announce that prior to the end of the draft, ROH & Progress executives met up and agreed to share talent in the future, thus enacting a working agreement. TH: look guys I'd really love to tell you who it is but I honestly have no clue who it is TSN: are you saying this new owner is someone new to the wrestling business? alpha2117 Posted September 11, 2019 Share Posted September 11, 2019 Alpha, I don't know if I could have necessarily landed all 6 of those guys had I gone that route, as I was still missing too many picks heading into the teens. As much as guys like Miyahara, Marufuji, and Nakajima are all incredible workhorses (with the latter having a crazy amount of potential), they really are the "upper midcard" version of my first five picks or so. That being said, I think Ishii and Goto fit a different mold that those three do not. I simply wanted to avoid a constant problem I have of using a bunch of different guys that occupy the same exact role. I think Miyahara, Marufuji, and Nakajima would be fighting for spots that I would push Okada, Styles, Naito, Nakamura, Ibushi, and Hiromu into instead. Ishii and Goto apply to the veteran mold (as well as Hero ). Then it spreads the love, and I essentially lose out on the lite version of my top tier stars. Just my perspective, though you made me think hard about it haha You basically wanted me to lock down all of Japan though, that's hard to do when I only get one pick a round most of the time, and everyone else can just sprinkle in one Japanese guy throughout the entire draft and make me look bad. alpha2117: Breeze is probably my favorite pick of yours. Aldis and Miz are good too. Dream fits in well. alpha2117: You were doing your thang. I don't like what you did to Gabriel, but that's okay. Understood with your 8 to 10 picks - my take is that Nakajima & Miyahara are young enough to keep growing (especially Nakajima). I don't think Goto & Ishii were going to be picked up till maybe somewhere in the 20's by anyone else so if you had of taken the three guys you missed with those picks I think you still get all three of the others in the order you selected. Your settings are brutal and sadly injuries can and will occur and if I had of had the same choice I would have prioritised getting those back-up stars over vets because Japan is literally going to be littered with vets looking for work come the game but people who can fill in at Main Event level is harder. I love your fed but to me those guys and Takeshita were misses that could have secured your long-term Main Event scene leaving you to pick up your mid-card much as you will your Joshi girls post draft. Love Breeze and Aldis & Miz are my big first feud. Dream is the future of my fed with luck. As for what I did with Gabriel - He'd fallen to that slot and the guy is one of the great lost chances they screwed up with Nexus, he had that Ricochet style finisher that was just sweet but they basically turned him into a jobber. My product doesn't lend itself to anything too serious but riffing on his Bunny gimmick and eventually taking it in the direction he wanted too is my plan. If you don't know the story he wanted the Bunny to go full heel and become evil and menacing - so I am starting him out daft and fun before eventually going very dark with his turn. Heres some names that might fill your needs. I will definitely miss some people and apologies if I add someone who has gotten a late draft deal that I've missed. Most feds selected women so lets start there Looks – Vet Mexican Luchadoras La Ampola & Tiffany and noted toxic nutjob Sexy Star are still around and could be worth short term deals if you are using Eye Candy as is Melina Perez. Velvet Sky is a limited worker and is set as a Freelancer so shes a short term option no matter what you may want. Rain & Jayme Jameson dont have high profiles but they have the looks to make signing them worthwhile if thats what you need. Daffney, April Hunter, Shelly Martine & Maryse are available as out of ring workers – so would be relatively cheap – if you want to coax them out of retirement it might be possible but the price will go up. Trina Micheals is purely out of ring talent. If you want younger women (under 32) with Good looks and not awful skills – Nicole Matthews, Jetta, La Jarochita & Melanie Grey fill that need. Good Workers – Aja Kong, Awesome Kong, Cynthia Moreno, Emi Sakura, LuFisto, Marcela< Mickie James, Nanae Takahashi, Saraya Knight are all vetran talent that could help on relatively short term deals. (kidding - there are always tweaks required in these drafts as people throw everything together pretty darn quickly) Admittedly the errors in my fed are partly of my own making as I changed my Tv from my initial intention and that may have caused the issues.</p><p> </p><p> WS_X Sex Bomb is a 2 hr A Show on Saturday Night on the Network but has failed to make its way into the data </p><p> </p><p> WS_X Cabaret is on Friday Nights and is not on the Network but rather only on Sky Deustschland (as I think you aren't supposed to have clashing TV deals in the same area - in this case both are in Central Europe)</p><p> </p><p> In The data WS_X Cabaret is on both clashing broadcasters. Initially I intended both to be on the network but decided late in the draft to go with Sky Deutschland for Cabaret to at least try to get my peoples profiles up in their home area before that deal was lost.</p><p> </p><p> Renee & Corey are not set as my Announce team for Cabaret (and should also be set for S_X Bomb when it's added.</p><p> </p><p> Not an error but a tweak - The NWA Tag Teams titles can have No restrictions rather than Male Only when you tweak the data.</p><p> </p><p> The WILD Alliance between WS_X, Tsunami Strong Style and SHOWTIME isn't in. That's a key piece of business for those 3 feds as they all get something out of sharing womens workers in particular. </p><p> </p><p> Something that has nothing to do with you but is incorrect - Taryn Terrell is set as Semi-Active but does not have the setting Occassional Wrestler Usually or Sometimes in her Favoured Role settings making her results kind of odd and random. It's a flaw in the mod rather than anything you have done and that one field needs to be fixed in the Workers area. </p><p> </p><p> Other Mod WS_X Worker data flaws - Black Mamba, Eddy McQueen, La Chica YeYE, Rick Cataldo are set as str8 - arguably that might be the case for YeYE but as she's set as Male in the mod it's wrong. You cant get much more out than Cataldo who runs a Matter of Pride wrestling out of gay venues in the Tri-State area and Mamba and McQueen are also gay. If you are fiddling around with that part of the data you can tweak them if you want if not I will before I start playing because I don't want something odd like Cataldo dating Annie Social! That would be too weird even for wrestling.</p><p> </p><p> Nothing major really. The only thing that you absolutely have to fix for other peoples games is the TV deals for Cabaret & S_X Bomb and the Alliance.
