Anyone having the issue of promotions not debuting? Looked in the editor and Pride is now listed as debuting in 2997 instead 1997. Is this a bug?

 

Yep, so when it came time for them to debut their date changed to 2997 out of nowhere.

I had this issue with my mods and i found this solution: You have to remove the company founder, put it at 'None' and instead of mandatory you set at Preferred.

 

This will mess with the right future company founder but is better than not open at all.

Another small point. You should definetly turn Small Local Shows on during 1997 or so. Because otherwise there are a lot of fighters that just sit on 0-0 for years. To few companies for the amount of fighters coming up.

I could be wrong, but if I recall correctly, in order to get all of the international talent from early UFC shows involved without just putting them all as "based in America", UFC would have to be a National level promotion.

UFC continues to have openweight class though the game.

 

You can easily correct that using Narratives ("company opens xxx division). The open weight class will live on as the current Heavyweight division.

 

If I was more knowledgable about the UFC I'd make these, but I assume most people will want to play as the UFC in this mod.

Changes I made are:

-I added about 1000 characters to the database, from the modern warriors mod, and in addition for each character, without exception, I established the correct debut date, birthday, reach, weight limits and sometimes, but rarely their name, nickname. I have also removed a few duplicates which were in the database and of course there may be more, if I find them myself I will remove them and if someone finds them I also encourage to share the information.

 

- I have also changed a few settings for companies, their popularity, show numbering or initial owners.

 

- I also added narratives from another mod, oldschool 2000 and 2007 and they match those added to the mod.

 

- I have also added many more teams, from the latest Modern Warriors update, and changed the dates of their creation, so that there is no immediate start with all teams.

 

- I also added more referees, injuries and that's it

 

The mod still needs more polishing to be perfect, but what I've done I think is going to make this mod really playable

Hi,

I made few corrections for database, removed few duplicates, changed informations for players who debuted early in game and on local shows they were making too big fight record only on local shows, I also restored championship belts for Shooto, because somewhere during correction of database I must have unintentionally removed them, I set them to work correctly with weight classes set for Shooto, I also made few cosmetic changes for players, so I recommend to use this version:

year 2006 and UFC still uses open weight class along with a another company (think pancracse). Cant remember what I did before to correct this, think I just set something up where they keep weight classes permanent however still running into that problem. If I see any duplicates or anything ill update post.
