I hate to dredge this post back up from the depths, but I had my eye out for the 2019 DOTY voting results for months and somehow still missed it. Then it hit me today. I said to myself, "self, google it you dummy!" And sure enough here it is!

 

Let me just say, WOW! I thought I might have had a shot to eke out a minuscule half a percent win in one category, but three wins? I would have never dreamed! Not with all the fantastic writers here. I'm especially proud of winning the "Shocking Turn of Year Award." Not because it was the best thing in the diary, because I was personally more satisfied with how a few other things turned out instead, but because turning Ricky Steamboat heel against Hulk Hogan was pretty much the inspiration for the diary to begin with. Anyway, I could probably ramble on for a few more paragraphs, but I think I'll put anyone reading this out of their misery here. I just wanted to pop in now that I found this and thank, from the bottom of my heart, everyone who voted for me in these polls! Although it may seem crazy to attach so much significance to an internet message board contest, winning these awards really means a lot to me! THANKS!!

Wow I had completely missed this! Huge thanks for the MOTY 2019 award, I'm astounded. Not only that, my WEXXV diary came in 2nd in two other categories (Storyline of the Year & Event Of The Year). I feel bad now for dropping diaries so often. I think I still do have the save though. My passion is like an explosion in a deathmatch, short but sweet.
