The Puzzler will carry SPW into the 30's I predict. :D

Aftermath

The Puzzler had never really made any headway in terms of being an important member of the roster. There was some eyebrows raised when his match against Friedrich Herzog at SPW Pro Wrestling 22 got a 43 rating, but short squash matches are Herzog's speciality (as shown in Herzog's match with Mike Lewis the previous year) and his World Title Match squash loss to Joe Boone at SPW Pro Wrestling 23 was the last they intended to use him.

NOOOOOOOOO!

Right, I'm doing this one phone so let's see how badly I screw this up. :p

Pick Your Partner Match- Daniel Loiselle & ??? Vs. Joe Boone & ???

I notice that Herzog and Espiritu are both missing on the card so figured they would be here, in which case I think that that faces get one over Boone here in order to set-up future title shot despite Boone's effort to not give them one

Levi Andrews vs. Dustin David

still think that David is going to go over but with this being the second fight I go with Andrews cheating to win here and David getting the third match.

SPW Tag Team Title Match- The Chivalry © vs. The Kuroki Boys

Not yet time for champs to drop the belts

SPW Mid South Title Match- Nathan Hayes © vs. Spike Morgan

Morgan is getting a push but don't see him being next on the line for belt yet.

Melinda Bell & Ryo Matsudavs. Diamanta & Consuelo Montero

Potential challengers get win over the champ.

Double Shot vs. No Nonsense

No Nonsense looks to be higher on pecking order.

La Oscuridad vs. Scott Levesque

With rest of the roster being pretty well established, it's hard to see Levesque being anything else than a jobber for a while.

Young Guns vs. Night Fever

Looks like Disco might be getting a face turn and this is likely another step to that direction.

Pick Your Partner Match- Daniel Loiselle & ??? Vs. Joe Boone & ???

Levi Andrews vs. Dustin David

SPW Tag Team Title Match- The Chivalry © vs. The Kuroki Boys

SPW Mid South Title Match- Nathan Hayes © vs. Spike Morgan

Melinda Bell & Ryo Matsuda vs. Diamanta & Consuelo Montero

Double Shot vs. No Nonsense

La Oscuridad vs. Scott Levesque

Young Guns vs. Night Fever

4 out of 8- This was a tricky set of results to predict, especially given it was unknown who the partners in the main event would be. I also think, looking back, that a couple of these results made less sense than I probably thought they did at the time.

3 out of 8- As above, I think I should have probably asked everyone who they thought the mystery partners were going to be, as I'm sure that would have fed into the predictions for the result of the match! Old Carl Hackney ALMOST got you a point, alas, a draw was all that he could manage!

5 out of 8- I'm glad you predicted who you thought would be in the main event, and I hope you appreciated the slight twist? There are 2 results that you got wrong, that looking back I think I would have booked the other way now, going back through all this from the past, so I think you can count yourself quite unlucky not to have gotten a 7 out of 8.

SPW Pro Wrestling 24 Aftermath & News

Aftermath

This show was all about setting the scene for the 2nd Anniversary event just around the corner- to that end, Joe Boone announced his defence of the World Title to El Espiritu in a Title vs. Mask match, and it was revealed that Daniel Loiselle will face Saita Kuroki in Kuroki's retirement match. Additionally, Night Fever finally split properly with Danny Cool turning on his partner and Melinda Bell got a pinfall victory over Women's Champion Diamanta to set her up as the top contender once more for that title.

The surprise partners in the main event had worked really well, with many in the crowd genuinely surprise by the choices of Loiselle and Boone. Many had expected Loiselle and El Espiritu to face Boone and Friedrich Herzog in the match, and Herzog was left off the bill to foster that assumption. In the match, with all 3 of the big hitters involved, it was still Loiselle who stood out in terms of his performance, once again showing that he is the best in-ring worker around.

Scott Levesque's debut match against La Oscuridad was a stunningly good contest, and raised more than one eyebrow among this backstage. La Oscuridad has been one of the top performing younger wrestlers on the roster for a little while now, but nothing suggested during the contest that Levesque didn't carry his end and so there was a great deal of hope that SPW had another couple of potential future stars.

News

Just a couple of days after the show, Don Loomis made the phone call to Chico de Oro, real name Rolan Bartlett, that they would have to release him from his contract. As confirmed previously, Chico de Oro would be out of action for a year and there was simply no reason to keep him on the roster during that time. Even the usually pro-SPW (not to mention, Kayfabe keeping) Jackson Times called the treatment of Chico de Oro "ruthless", though there was little dissent backstage, perhaps chiefly, because SPW was the only place to work, though that was about to change...

A couple of days before SPW Pro Wrestling 24, Friedrich Herzog had called Don Loomis to tell him that he was starting up a new wrestling organisation in his home country called 'Pride of Germany'. Herzog explained that he had picked up a lot from Loomis on the organisational side of things and felt there was an opportunity to build pro wrestling in the country and do some really good business. He asked for Loomis' blessing, assuring him that this wouldn't be competition, and that he had no intention of using anyone from SPW, commenting that the bulk of his roster would be homegrown.

Loomis had no objections, in truth he was actually quite excited. The best way for his own company to grow was for more talent to be unearthed and new stars to be born, on its own, SPW would struggle to do that and so an expansion of the sport, to new horizons was a good thing. What's more, as Herzog had said, PoG would not represent competition because the two organisations were so far apart geographically, it might be different if he based his company in California or New York, but his audience would never be able to see a PoG show, and most would barely know it existed.

"Only if you agree to work for SPW as well" was Loomis' response to Herzog's request for Loomis' blessing. Herzog assured him that he would and thanked Loomis for being okay with his new venture. Loomis wished Herzog the best of luck and told him that he'd be happy to talk anything through with him should he need it in the future. Loomis was excited, the world of professional wrestling was about to get a whole lot bigger.

xKawI4N.jpg

Back in SPW, with Chico de Oro gone, it created a new slot on the roster which was filled by Thomas Appleseed, an amateur wrestler coming out of Washington state. Appleseed had a somewhat weaselly appearance about him and Jay Lutter had the idea of a character who used his ability to manipulate others into doing his bidding for him that Appleseed would play.

Also, Frank Norris extended his deal to work with the company, he was a valuable confidant for Don Loomis given that the two had worked together for many years, though he wasn't popular in the back. Many saw him as a negative influence around the place, who would often smoke backstage (which was against the company rules) but would often go unpunished due to his long time relationship with the boss. What's more, his closest ally, Saita Kuroki, was just about to retire from the sport, and would not be around as often, which would either improve, or exacerbate the situation.

<p><p>SPW 2nd Anniversary Show Preview</p><p> </p><p></p><p>

Here is the preview for SPW's 2nd Anniversary Show:</p><p> </p><p></p><p>

<strong><em>Join Southern Pro Wrestling as it celebrates its 2nd birthday with a card of action sure to get you on the edge of your seat throughout!</em></strong></p><p><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p><strong><em></p><p>

Joe Boone and El Espiritu will face one another in a contest that will likely be remembered for years to come, as both men have much to lose as a consequence of the result. On the one hand you have current SPW World Champion, Joe Boone, putting his belt on the line against the man he defeated for the belt back in October and well aware that he will represent a huge challenge to overcome. On the other hand, El Espiritu must win the match, not only to reclaim a title he once wore so proudly, but also retain possession of his very identity in the first ever Title vs. Mask encounter. At SPW's 2nd Anniversary show we will either see a new World Champion crowned, or El Espiritu will be forced to lose the mask that defines him as a wrestler- the stakes have never been higher! </em></strong></p><p><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p><strong><em></p><p>

Over the past 2 years, Saita Kuroki has played an essential role in the inception and growth of the sport of professional wrestling and at the 2nd Anniversary show, the Japanese legend will have his very last match as he faces friend, and former SPW World Champion, Daniel Loiselle. The pair have never faced each other before, and Kuroki personally requested that he get the chance to take on the man that many still consider to be the best wrestler in the world. Earlier this month the two combined in tag action to get a major victory over Joe Boone & El Espiritu, but at the Anniversary Show, Loiselle has promised that he won't be taking things lightly, saying that he has too much respect for his opponent. </em></strong></p><p><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p><strong><em></p><p>

Back in December, The Chivalry managed to wrest the SPW Tag Team Titles away from Young Guns in controversial circumstances when Sir Anthony Henry took advantage of a distracted referee to use a foreign object on Dragon Lee, allowing his team to win the match. Since then Young Guns have been working hard to get a rematch, first overcoming the new Champions in 6-man tag action at SPW Pro Wrestling 23, before defeating their old rivals Night Fever just three weeks ago. At the 2nd Anniversary show, it's going to be war as the two best tag teams in the world right now, fight to prove their supremacy. </em></strong></p><p><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p><strong><em></p><p>

Speaking of Night Fever, that bout with Young Guns in Texas earlier this month, marked the end of the line for one of SPW's longest running teams. It was there that Danny Cool walked out on his partner, leaving him at the mercy of their opponents, after months of disharmony between them. Their issues can be traced all the way back to a match in October of last year against The Kuroki Boys where, after suffering defeat, there was a disagreement between them about who was to blame. Things escalated a month later when Danny Cool, apparently trying to run interference on his partner's behalf, accidentally cost Leroy Disco a fight against Saita Kuroki.</em></strong></p><p><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p><strong><em></p><p>

Disco and Cool battled one another at Festive Fury in an attempt to straighten their differences out and put it all behind them, but after Disco took the victory, it seemed that Cool was even more bitter towards his team mate. The tension rose yet further in January when Leroy Disco had to forcibly stop his partner from disrespecting the retiring Kuroki. When they meet at the 2nd anniversary show, there is no chance of reconciliation between the two this time, and both will be out for revenge. </em></strong></p><p><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p><strong><em></p><p>

In the third title match at SPW 2nd Anniversary show, Diamanta defends the Women's title against long time rival Melinda Bell in their 2nd tussle over the title. It wasn't the story book ending for Bell at Festive Fury when she finally clashed in the ring with Diamanta, following her having to forfeit the match at Octoberfest to crown the first title holder. Diamanta was wily enough to exploit the injury that her led to her earlier forfeit, and though Bell refused to submit, the referee stopped the match, fearing permanent damage. Now, after gaining a pinfall victory in tag action against Diamanta at SPW Pro Wrestling 24, Melinda Bell gets another shot- question is, can she take it?</em></strong></p><p><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p><strong><em></p><p>

3 weeks ago, Spike Morgan made a major splash in SPW when he won the SPW Mid South Title from Nathan Hayes, just 5 months after making his pro wrestling debut. His celebrations were short lived however, as he was attacked from behind by Austyn Taylor who was still smarting from losing to the rookie at SPW Pro Wrestling 22, and then being on the losing team in a 6-man tag match at SPW Pro Wrestling 23. SPW World Title vs. Mask Match- Joe Boone ©vs. El Espiritu

I don't see Boone dropping the belt quite this soon.

Saita Kuroki Retirement Match- Saita Kuroki vs. Daniel Loiselle

I could see you giving Kuroki one last big win as thank you for agreeing with this plan but logically, giving the win to Loiselle would benefit SPW more so I go with that.

SPW Tag Team Title Match- The Chivalry © vs. Young Guns

If Young Guns stay together I would expect them to get tag belts again but right now they have to wait a bit before another run.

Danny Cool vs. Leroy Disco

Disco is the one who I expect to rise on ladders with this break up.

Levi Andrews, Friedrich Herzog & Nathan Hayes vs. Dustin David & The Kuroki Boys

I could see this one going the other way as well but Alliance feels stronger side on this one.

SPW Women's Title Match- Diamanta © vs. Melinda Bell

Still feels bit early for title switch so I go with non clean finish here.

Austyn Taylorvs. Spike Morgan

Taylor cheats to win here and sets-up future title shot

Thomas Appleseed vs. Scott Levesque

Wonder if Levesque is getting similar push than Morgsn did, either way, he won last show against more established opponent and that makes him favorite here

Diana Gosselin vs.Ryo Matsuda

Could see this one going either way depending on your plans but I give this one to Matsuda in order to set-up one shot title challenge for her to give another win to Diamanda before she drops the belt to Bell

Double Shot vs. No Nonsense

With Escuadron and Night Fever gone now, No Nonsense alongside Kuroki Boys suddenly looks top contenders to get the belts next

SPW 2nd Anniversary Aftermath & News

Aftermath

This was a big show for SPW and delivered in nearly every way that Don Loomis and his team had hoped. The main event had been received very well (ranking at number 6 in the all time list- the highest ranked match without Daniel Loiselle involved), Saita Kuroki's last match had been a really decent one (again, thanks in large part to Loiselle- it was Saita Kuroki's best match by a long way), they'd had the best women's match yet, with Melinda Bell taking that belt, and the best tag title match up to this point.

That tag title match had been so good (the 10th best match in the all time list) thanks largely to the excellent performance by Squire Albert Berik once again. This title reign for The Chivalry was really exhibiting Berik's quality and there was now no doubt in the minds of Loomis, Jay Lutter and Frank Norris that he was going to be a big star in the future.

The decision for El Espiritu to lose his mask was something that Loomis and El Espiritu had come to a mutual decision on. Some months previously, Emilio Suarez (the man behind the mask of El Espiritu) had come to Loomis expressing a desire for his character to start talking, feeling that the potential for growth and future storylines would be improved if he were able to cut promos (especially after seeing what it was doing for Joe Boone). Jay Lutter, who was SPW's main creative guy, made it clear he felt that, if El Espiritu were going to talk, something big would have to happen for him to break his silence- and so the wheels were put in motion for the Title vs. Mask match and for El Espiritu to lose it.

News

I9fwGhU.jpg

With Saita Kuroki hanging up the boots, and the recent arrivals of two new heels in the shape of Thomas Appleseed and Diana Gosselin, it was felt that the babyface side of the roster needed a boost and so SPW added 19 year-old Bernie Hughes to the roster. Bernie (real name Durrant Bernard) was a Toronto native who was set to come in playing a naive character who would easily fall for other guys' tricks.

In major industry news, Pride of Germany officially opened it's doors at a press conference held by Friedrich Herzog in Mainz, Germany. During the press conference they announced that the first ever pro wrestling show in the country would take place on the 14th March 1922 and would be titled 'King of Kings' with a PoG World Champion, National Champion and Tag Team Champions all being crowned on the night. No names were announced other than Friedrich Herzog himself, who would be in action.

SPW Pro Wrestling 25 Preview

The following is the preview for SPW Pro Wrestling 25:

Southern Pro Wrestling returns once more to Jackson, just 4 days after a historic 2nd Anniversary Show, to usher in a new era! Saita Kuroki has retired, El Espiritu has lost his mask and the SPW has implemented a 4-man round robin tournament to decide the next number 1 contender to the World Title!

At the conclusion of the 2nd Anniversary show, Joe Boone was standing atop of the SPW pile following his Title vs. Mask victory over El Espiritu. Not only had he defended his title against the former Champion, but also had crushed the morale of one of his biggest contenders for the belt as El Espiritu ended the night in despair. Nothing has been heard from the Mexican sensation since that night, and he is not expected to be in Jackson for SPW Pro Wrestling 25.

Joe Boone in the meantime has wasted no time in signing a contract to make his 5th defence of the World Title, as he will face recent addition to the singles ranks, Leroy Disco. While Disco has shown himself to be a very capable grappler, some have speculated that Boone acted quickly in order to prevent SPW sanctioning a tougher opponent for him at the event. Boone however has adamantly defended the match, claiming Disco earned his shot at the title after victory against his former partner, Danny Cool, at the 2nd Anniversary Show. Leroy Disco has also vowed to make his doubters eat their words.

In response, Southern Pro Wrestling has sanctioned a 4-man round robin tournament, with the first two matches set to take place at the show. Joe Boone was said to be furious about the tournament, as SPW decided that Daniel Loiselle would be taking part and would have a chance to earn a title shot that Boone had been unwilling to give him directly. As a concession to the Champion, his Alliance stablemate, Friedrich Herzog has also been entered and Boone will be hoping he does what it takes to keep Loiselle from winning overall- Loiselle and Herzog will face one another in one of the first round of matches.

The other two participants in the round robin, who will be facing one another at SPW Pro Wrestling 25, are SPW Mid South Champion, Spike Morgan, and Perry Bryant. Some were surprised by the inclusion of Morgan who has only been with SPW for 5 months, but victories over Nathan Hayes and Austyn Taylor recently, along with still being undefeated in singles action, secured him a spot. There were no surprises at Bryant's inclusion however, following a string of victories he got at the end of 1921 (including a win over Saita Kuroki) which was capped off with a disqualification defeat of El Espiritu at Festive Fury.

In addition to the matches affecting the SPW World Title, the SPW Tag Titles will also be on the line as The Chivalry defend their belts against No Nonsense who earned their chance with victory over rivals Double Shot at the 2nd Anniversary Show. This will be the biggest match in Anderson Ambriz and Beau Joslin's respective careers and they won't want to let this opportunity slip through their fingers.

There will be a further 5 bouts on the night involving the likes of Levi Andrews, The Kuroki Boys, Austyn Taylor and the now former SPW Women's Champion, Diamanta, so make sure you get your tickets today!

Number 1 Contender Round Robin- Friedrich Herzog vs. Daniel Loiselle

Number 1 Contender Round Robin- Perry Bryant vs. Spike Morgan

Grouping these two together as in tournament matches, winner of one match usually affects the other and that´s the case here. Namely, we know winner will likely be face with heel champion and I doubt Morgan would be quite ready for that even with the big push he´s getting so that means this looks like Loiselle is going to be the winner, hence we need Bryant to beat Morgan in the other match

SPW Tag Team Title Match- The Chivalry © vs. No Nonsense

With Berik being as good as he is, I´d assume Chivalry will have decently long title run so not going to pick against them just yet.

SPW World Title Match- Joe Boone © vs. Leroy Disco

I could seee Disco being pretty high on the rankings in terms of top faces (he´s certainly behind Loiselle and Suarez but could easily be nuber three face at the moment though there´s other contenders for that spot). That said, I would still say that there´s a cap between top three (Loiselle, Suarez and Boone) and the rest and I´m quite doubful if Disco would be ready for the belt just yet.

Austyn Taylor vs. Roland Pascual

I could see this one going either way. Taylor had a big push earlier but his stock seems to be lowered since then while Pascual is mainly tag team guy but he´s team is certainly one of the top teams and thus looks to be higher on the pecking order at the moment (at least in my books). That said, Taylor is the one with storyline going as I doubt that DQ loss was the end with his rivalry against Morgan so I wouldn´t be surprised if he gets a win here in order to boost his status a bit before the final match between him and Morgan.

Levi Andrews & Nathan Hayes vs. The Kuroki Boys

Another one that I could see going either way. I picked Kuroko Boys simply with the idea that they would likely be the next challengers for tag belts and thus likely to get a win before that while Andrews and Hayes aren´t doing whole lot right now so loss shouldn´t hurt them too much.

Diamanta vs. Ryo Matsuda

Diamanta gets a bounce back win after dropping the belt.

La Oscuridad vs. Scott Levesque

Levesque took their last encounter but lost in very next show and thus I still count La Oscuridad as favorite to win since if I recall corrently, he did deliver pretty well in ring.

Thomas Appleseed vs. Dragon Lee

Appleseed is likely still in a a spot were he could gain popularity even from losing so I´d assume Lee goes over here.

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Aftermath</span></strong></p><p> </p><p></p><p>

There were some big performances from some of the top talent bubbling under at the show- Albert Berik was again the star in another really decent tag team title match, while Tetsuyuki Ishibashi was the stand out in the Kuroki Boys' tag match versus Levi Andrews and Nathan Hayes. In top of that, La Oscuridad and Scott Levesque contested another really strong match. With talent such as this making waves, Southern Pro Wrestling's future looked pretty secure.</p><p> </p><p></p><p>

The present wasn't looking too bad either- Daniel Loiselle and Friedrich Herzog's double DQ main event achieved a 50 rating, only the 2nd match ever to reach such a height. Opinion was split about whether this or Loiselle's World Title match at Festive Fury versus Joe Boone was better. Whatever the case, while there may be a number of very good wrestlers coming up through the ranks, none as yet were on Loiselle's level. </p><p> </p><p></p><p>

1 week after SPW Pro Wrestling 25, Saita Kuroki called Don Loomis to discuss his future role in the promotion. Loomis had hoped that Kuroki would be interested in becoming the first professional wrestling manager, and guide his proteges, The Kuroki Boys, in their pursuit of the Tag Team Titles. Kuroki however was uninterested in such a role and wanted instead to have a semi-regular wrestling spot. Loomis had expected that they would use Kuroki as a wrestler once or twice in the future, on special occasions, but Kuroki was already talking about fighting at May's Extravaganza show. Loomis felt that was too soon, especially as they had used Kuroki's retirement match as one of the key selling points of the 2nd Anniversary show, and that it would 'cheat' the audience somewhat if he were to get back into the ring so soon. Kuroki was not very happy with this and asked to be released from his contract so he could pursue other opportunities, and Loomis granted him his release.</p><p> </p><p></p><p>

Over the course of the next week or so, Pride of Germany made a lot of signings ahead of their 'King of Kings' show. </p><p> </p><p></p><p>

At the show itself, PoG managed to attract a very healthy 268 fans to what was an unspectacular event (at least by SPW's recent standards). In the main event, Greek brawler, Tellus Chalkias became the first PoG World Champion when he defeated the Norwegian, Henning Eriksen. Also, the first tag champions were crowned when Scandinavian duo Albert Larsen & Bjarni Johansson defeated Greek pair Kairos Savrakakis & Pygmalion Angel. In the match of the night however, with a rating of 24, Swedish star Berg Andersson overcame Marek Wozniak from Russia, to become the first PoG National Champion. It appears as if Friedrich Herzog is going to spotlight others rather than push himself as the star of the promotion- his match took place just under the main event and saw him and tag partner Miguel Filho from Portugal beaten by Italian, Angelino Romano and Dutch, Eustatius Van Emburgh.</p></p>

SPW Pro Wrestling 26 Preview

Here is the preview for SPW Pro Wrestling 26:

Another month and another exhibition of the greatest pro wrestling action anywhere in the world is coming to Jackson as the stars of SPW converge to fight for supremacy!

The round robin tournament to decide the number 1 contender to face Joe Boone at Extravaganza enters its 2nd round at the show as Daniel Loiselle faces Spike Morgan and Friedrich Herzog takes on Perry Bryant. After last month's matches, Spike Morgan tops the table following victory over Perry Bryant. That secured him 3 valuable points while Daniel Loiselle and Friedrich Herzog could only manage 1 point apiece as a consequence of their double disqualification draw.

Morgan is on an extreme upwards trajectory in SPW at the moment, and a victory against Loiselle would not only mean that the former World Champion could not mathematically win the tournament, but also, depending on the result in the other contest, potentially secure Morgan the win overall. Morgan however has never faced a man with the pedigree of the Canadian star before, so this will be undoubtedly the biggest challenge of his short career so far. It will also be fascinating to see how Perry Bryant goes against Friedrich Herzog- a loss for Bryant would mean he'd be unable to win the tournament and so he'll be desperate to avoid defeat.

The World Champion meanwhile, has used the round robin as an excuse to hand pick opponents that might not be seen as the most worthy challengers. After a somewhat unconvincing count out victory against Leroy Disco last month, Boone has given Dragon Lee a shot at his belt, despite Lee coming up short at SPW's last show against newcomer, Thomas Appleseed. While surprised at the opportunity coming his way, Lee has said that as this is the first chance he's ever had to fight for the World Title, he's not questioning the reasons why and will go into the match as focussed as he's ever been.

The long war between Levi Andrews and Dustin David is due to come to an end at SPW Pro Wrestling 26 as they face each other for the 3rd time to settle the score. The issue between the two stretches back to last November when the pair were both disqualified during a tag match. Following that contest, Levi Andrews cost Dustin David a chance to win the SPW Mid South Title and they finally had their first singles match opposite one another at Festive Fury, which ended in a double count out. At SPW Pro Wrestling 24 in Beaumont, this past February, Levi Andrews beat his rival with the help of outside interference from his Alliance stablemate, Friedrich Herzog. Now, David has the chance to secure himself the win that will provide him with some much needed retribution.

In addition to all this, SPW Tag Team Champions The Chivalry, Austyn Taylor, The Kuroki Boys and SPW Women's Champion Melinda Bell will all be in action at what promises to be another pivotal night in SPW's history- make sure you don't miss out!

In a bout that didn't have much heat and terrible wrestling, Austyn Taylor defeated Scott Levesque in 7:37 by pinfall after using a foreign object.

Rating: 19

Before participating in the next match, Thomas Appleseed grabbed a microphone and had the following to say:

xKawI4N.jpg

"Roland Pascual, I have been watching you since I came to SPW and I have seen that you have the same lack of faith as your partner Dragon Lee. It was this lack of faith that meant that I was able to defeat him last month, and also the reason he was unable to take the undeserved opportunity that was given to him this month against the World Champion. It also the reason, you will lost against me tonight!"

Rating: 30

Match 3: Roland Pascual vs. Thomas Appleseed

F0SO0Oy.jpg vs. xKawI4N.jpg

In a poor match, Thomas Appleseed defeated Roland Pascual in 7:25 by pinfall by using underhanded tactics.

In a terrible match, Diamanta and Diana Gosselin defeated Melinda Bell and Ryo Matsuda in 9:19 by stoppage when Ryo Matsuda could not continue after Diamanta and Gosselin focussed their attack on the leg that Diamanta had injured last month in the post-match attack that had taken place.

uKbM6t2.jpg vs. I9fwGhU.jpg

In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, La Oscuridad defeated Bernie Hughes in 6:50 by pinfall with a Flapjack.

Rating: 44

Next up, Leroy Disco came to the ring and asked for a microphone:

kAlHp55.jpg

"Last month, I was given a title shot that a lot of people didn't think I deserved. But I went into the match, took everything Joe Boone had to give, and was still in it, 20 minutes after the opening bell had rung. Nobody can know how the rest of the match might have played out, and if things were different, I could be standing in front of you as the World Champion but my former partner, Danny Cool, denied me that chance. If Joe Boone is the fighting champion that he says he is, then he will face me in a rematch for the belt. So I am here today to formally challenge the Champion to put the title on the line once more".

Joe Boone then came out to address the challenge:

0GMbMmW.jpg

"Leroy Disco, you're just the same as all the other guys around here crying and whining, coming up with excuses for why they fell short of greatness. You've had your chance, and you failed, but I am in a generous mood. So Leroy Disco, here's what we'll do- I will give you the rematch you desire at next month's show, so long as you can defeat Nathan Hayes, right here, right now!"

lj2pNRH.jpg

Nathan Hayes then comes out and joins Boone in the entrance way. Leroy Disco nods his head to indicate the match is on, and we have ourselves a fight!

Rating: 36

Match 6: Leroy Disco vs. Nathan Hayes

kAlHp55.jpg vs. lj2pNRH.jpg

In a poor match, Leroy Disco defeated Nathan Hayes in 10:59 by pinfall with a Flapjack following botched interference by Danny Cool. After the match, Joe Boone, who had been watching on, looked disappointed with the result, presumably relying on Danny Cool to help Nathan Hayes win, and deny Disco another shot at his World Title.

Rating: 33

Match 7: Levi Andrews vs. Dustin David

jee5VHL.jpg vs. xmDEPG9.jpg

In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, Dustin David defeated Levi Andrews in 15:02 by pinfall in what was arguably the biggest win of his career.

Rating: 29

Match 8: The Chivalry & Double Shot vs. No Nonsense & The Kuroki Boys

8 out of 9- Very good. The only one you got incorrect was Levesque beating Taylor and that was probably more to do with the strange way which I introduced him which, I'll be honest, I have no reason why I did it that way now!
