Those renders for The Destroyers are amazing. Are we allowed to know who is performing as them?

Super Massive Destroyer is Super Massive Destroyer from NYCW. Mega Massive Destroyer is an Everest regen that is 6’11” and a monster. And a big kudos to Bison for the amazing renders.

Hey, I'm happy to see Gary Greer and his bros got some play! And yeah, maybe it's a little weird that I'm namesearching people I made in mods a year ago to see if they got used in diaries

They had a good run with me! Currently, Bobby Marks and Jamar Lennon are the CSW Tag Team Champions. Gary Greer is signed to an exclusive deal with Grimm SoCal Wrestling and is also a former OCW Heavyweight Champion, so he's doing quite well for himself also.

A look at Factions in HPW.

The Cadillac Four

Despite not the powerhouse it was under Funky Fedora, the Cadillac Four are still a force to be reckoned with. Currently led by former Heritage Champion "Showtime" Jack Jackson, he is joined by former World Tag Team Champions, The Dynamite Express, and newcomer Wenz Chrysler. Lucinda Lush continues to serve as the Executive Consultant of the organization. With Jackson's recent victory over El Patron Jr. at Circle City Classic VII, he could be looking to take a step into the main event scene.

The Industry

Led by Lucy Stone-McFly, the Industry is all multi-generational wrestlers. The former three-time Women's Champion is joined by current Heritage Champion Tommy Cornell Jr. and the DeColts Reborn. They have been quite formidable, particularly with LSM and TCJR. LSM just lost the Women's Title after a full year and TCJR is closing in on a year as Heritage Champion, has more defenses than anyone in history (in a single reign) and ended the in-ring career of Sean McFly.

A look at the Tag Teams of HPW.

American Gold - Maliek Chamberlain & Marcus English. Currently the GWC World Tag Team Champions, former two-time HPW Tag Team Champions and winners of the 2022 installment of the March Madness Tournament. Easily the "star" babyface tag team.

Dalton & MGII - Mike Dalton and Mr. Grappling II. Formed after Mr. Grappling left HPW. No major accomplishments, but the team has helped Mike Dalton ascend into Major star status.

DeColts Reborn - Danny and Xander DeColt. The sons of George and Steve DeColt. The cousins rejoined HPW in 2025. Along with Tommy Cornell Jr., they were COTT World Six Man Champions and were the first GWC World Six Man Champions.

MacDonald & St. Pierre - Harvey MacDonald and Rodney St. Pierre are both graduates of the No Ordinary Men Academy of Pro Wrestling. They are an underneath babyface tag team.

Roughhouse Riders - Victor Crash and Jimmy Dillon are both graduates of the No Ordinary Men Academy of Pro Wrestling. This is the homegrown babyface team and the bad ass teams. Twice they've been HPW Tag Team Champions and are probably the lead babyface team in the regular tag division -- with American Gold working in the World Tag Title scene.

The Assassins -- Another team comprised of graduates of the No Ordinary Men Academy of Pro Wrestling. They are former HPW Tag Team Champions and are a good midcard heel act.

The Destroyers - Super Massive Destroyer and Mega Massive Destroyer. Undefeated. Currently the HPW Tag Team Champions and the winners of the seventh March Madness tournament. Managed by Andrew Gibson, this is a monster heel tag team.

The Dynamite Express - Syd Collier and Cam Jones. The lead wrestling heel team. The most decorated team in HPW. Former GWC World Champions and former two time HPW Tag Team Champions (in addition to all their other accomplishments).

The Stones - Dan Stone III and his cousin John Stone make up this third generation duo. They are currently the number one contenders to the HPW Tag Team Titles due to their win at Circle City Classic VII. They look to be positioned as the wrestling babyfaces (as opposed to the bad ass babyfaces of the Roughhouse Riders) to continue to add depth and variety to the tag division of HPW.

Great write up and nice to see Ron, err I mean Zippy become babyface and get the title. While his presentation reminds me of things I’ve seen or hear about Ron Wright, but the render reminds me of Lawler a bit with the strap.

Zippy is definitely an amalgamation of several southern wrestling figures. His render is 100% based off of Lawler (done by my friend, the incomparable King Bison). His persona is somewhat Lawler, somewhat Ron Wright, some what Dutch Savage with bits and pieces from other wrestlers from the South that I enjoy.

The camera comes up after the opening song and we are back in the Fountain Square Theatre -- Heartland Pro Wrestling’s homebase. This is the first Wrestling Spotlight done here and the setup is different. With the growth of HPW, the studio set up is gone as HPW tries to be fresh. It has a ramp that goes from the theater’s stage all the way to the ring with two entry points (one for babyfaces and one for heels). The announce table is ringside -- speaking of, we go there to see Marv Earnest and Grace Harper.

qSIrNZu.jpg?1snF1S53.jpg

Earnest, “Hello everyone and welcome to another exciting, thrill packed episode of Wrestling Spotlight right here on WrestleWorld. We are coming to you from our home base the Fountain Square Theatre here in the historic Fountain Square neighborhood in Indianapolis, Indiana. We have a big night of professional wrestling action tonight. In our main event, two luchadores will battle in a match of extreme pride. The grandson of the greatest luchadore of all time, El Patron Jr will take on the living lucha legend El Leon. two thirds of the brand new World Six Woman Champions, Frankie Carmello and Tzilla will take on Claire Winters and Amy Rhodes in tag team action and “Ravishing” Jack Pryde will take on USAce in our opening contest. Joining me in calling all of the action, as normal, is my broadcast colleague Grace Harper.”

Harper, “And what a pleasure it is to be here tonight, Marv. I’ve been looking forward to tonight since Circle City Classic VII last Saturday because what a night of wrestling that was. We crowned a brand new Women’s Champion when Urena Frost won the six-pack-women’s-challenge to become champion and we crowned new tag team champions when The Destroyers defeated the Roughhouse Riders to become champions. Tommy Cornell Jr. continued his historic run as Heritage Champion and Zippy Deverell managed a victory, albeit by disqualification, over the GWC World Champion Nicky Gilbert. Coming off of that, you know tonight is going to be big time.”

Earnest, “It should be. Our lineup is full. Before we get to our first match, let’s go ringside to Taylor Gordy who is standing by with Andrew Gibson and his band of monsters.”

05TFh3q.png

TiIkT9w.jpgqYmW8S4.jpg24CK4Wp.jpgeUDhOIa.jpgJmMTozK.jpg

Andrew Gibson’s promo is all hype about his monsters. James Diaz, he promises, will have championship gold before the end of the summer. He’s too big and too mean to not gold. He’s a wrecking ball and he’s proven that so far. The Destroyers are what is happening in Tag Team Wrestling. They are unstoppable and unbeaten and now that they are the Tag Team Champions in HPW the balance of power is going to shift. Andrew Gibson is going to make sure he gets exactly what he wants because he’s got the three most destructive men in all of pro wrestling at his charge.

After Andrew Gibson and his three monsters leave the ring, The Industry hits the ring. They don’t give Taylor Gordy a second to get out. Lucy Stone-McFly looked incredibly aggravated while the DeColts looked smug while the reigning Heritage Champion was all smiles. Tommy Cornell Jr. has set the record for most defenses in a single reign with the Heritage Championship and the longest run as champion. He and Lucy did the bulk of the talking. TCJR talked about how he’s the greatest Heritage Champion and how that makes sense, being that he is the heir to the industry. He knows that he has Charlie Corner coming up in a few weeks and he’s prepared to put another guy down and continue his record setting reign. Lucy was all fire in her talking. After a year as Women’s Champion, it took a six pack challenge for her to lose -- and she’s not satisfied with that so she’s coming back for Urena Frost. She’s going to get her Women’s Championship back come hell or high water.

Mark Hyatt led the Alpha Male Douglas Paine to the ring. Paine has been undefeated since arriving in HPW -- including being the guy who sent Bulldozer Brandon Smith packing. Douglas Paine is the future of HPW. He’s unstoppable and Mark Hyatt is ready to send him against a big test. The Hangman!

Frankie Carmello & Tzilla versus Amy Rhodes & Claire Winters

In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, Amy Rhodes and Claire Winters defeated Frankie Carmello and Tzilla in 13:41 when Claire Winters pinned Tzilla with a Flying Knee Strike. Tzilla was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance.

The Cadillac Four all come out to the ring. This was pretty standard affair from them. Lucinda hyped up that Cam and Sid should still be World Tag Team Champions and they’re going to come back for those belts. American Gold better not get too comfortable. Jack Jackson hyped up being the number one contender to the United States Champion. The gold is going to come back to the Cadillac Four and they’re going to reclaim their spot as the most important faction in all of pro wrestling.
