NowThenMates
Hi, Pretty new to this, I've been working on adding a lot of the UK Scene into the RWC mod (Added 11 indy companies so far with full rosters and titles), however ICW always bump up their production to high quality from semi-pro to compete with NXT UK. The issue is they can't afford that. They start with 150k but lose it within the first month and continue to lose 100k+ a month. Any suggestions on how to fix? I've also tried making them tape there shows monthly but for some reason it changes to taping 2 at a time when I test?

If you bumped them down they'd no doubt just take it back up to meet the broadcaster requirements. They're almost a tertiary promotion as it is, if we could set a location for tapings then you could almost merge them in to NXT and have a US and UK brand with all UK brand TV and events set accordingly for the UK. But, then again, would ICW still bump up to compete with that? Tapings get changed by the AI across all mods, sometimes down from 4 or however to 1 and other times up from 1. To be fair that's two things we've cried out for...tapings and AI working to cut costs

To be fair that's two things we've cried out for...tapings and AI working to cut costs It's a bit strange as Progress don't seem to bump up their Production, so I have an incline it's related to the ICW Fight Club TV show, I might try changing it to a weekly event for now and see if that changes anything. The merge is an interesting Idea. My first plan is to make sure none of the promotions screw themselves over in the first 3 months. All the local/small feds I've added are fine ICW just decide to spend 100k on production of the bat. Hopefully, like you said, the AI can be more reasonable at understanding income vs expenditure relative to expansion.
Blackman
As a little game of perception: who can name ALL the things that have horribly gone wrong with this render? It's 7 years old, and when I made it I honestly thought it looked decent. I arguably still make some awful renders now, but this one might have been the worst. I'm not going to list them to spoil the result, but there should be 10 obvious and objective errors (maybe more that I'm not seeing ). No lightning though (as that's "subjective") and the framing was fine.

The body of the models is divided into parts and I think I used different shaders or lightning settings on both parts. But there's more. Much and more. But as far as I'm considered, that was the only skin/body-related error, so you must look elsewhere.

Supermercado
Thoughts and experience on using the home arena setting for smaller promotions? I set '86 Memphis to the Mid-South Coliseum and they did their first five weekly TV shows from there, then went to another arena for two weeks, held an event at 'South East' and did four weeks more of TV shows from a different arena again.

The handbook says the company will always try to use it if they're in the region unless it's financially inappropriate to say. I'm guessing they gained popularity after the first five tapings that meant it was no longer appropriate.

I'd like an option to hard lock a company's events and individual TV shows to certain arenas. Simulating the house show loop for regional promotions isn't going to happen any time soon, so as a trade off I'm ok that companies do their TV from big buildings but would be good to have the option in the future.

Also, anyone played around with locations? I like the idea but worried that a regional promotion that's super over in a particular area will regularly be pulling in enormous crowds. You can handbrake it a bit by creating sub-locations with lower attendances but feels like if I'm going to that trouble I may as well just import location files from a mod and not change anything. From 'South East' being used as a location I'm assuming if you don't have any venues or locations set it will just default to this.

What you can say is that the pinky goes into the body, but I count that as a minor error.

The other things wrong is the front hair running through the forehead. Side hair running through the left ear. The glove morphs are bad. Grimmas
Alter Egos? Really confused by this. Say I create Curt Hennig in the game, and give him an alter ego of Mr. Perfect with a 20% chance of happening. It seems like, from my tests, that Hennig will always sign as Mr. Perfect. Am I missing something there?

Raven would keep ending up back with WWF as Johnny Polo!
Moxley
I converted a mod from TEW2016 over to TEW2020 to play around with the editor a little bit and decided to put in some job histories, but I have a question regarding tours. For example, Ric Flair had multiple different tours of All Japan in the 70's and 80's. Would you make a separate entry for each of those tours or just have one entry that covers all of the tours, even though there are sometimes years in between them? mrwhippy
One entry per tour in my opinion.
Brushfire
Is there a mod that renames the existing match types, such as changing 1 v 1 to 'Singles Match' for example? I want to re-name matches like '1 v 1 v 1 v 1 v 1 v 1 Ladder' to 'Six-Man Ladder' but I feel like I'd need them all to be in that format for uniformity - I don't mind going through all 180-odd options myself, but I didn't want to do it if this already exists and can be imported in from somewhere! EDIT: don't worry, I decided to just go through and amend these myself

Would you make a separate entry for each of those tours or just have one entry that covers all of the tours, even though there are sometimes years in between them? I've only dabbled a bit in modding but as a player I'd prefer one entry to tidy up the job history. Unless there was a significant change involved. Like take Jesse Ventura. I'd make his first two jobs in the WWF different because in one he was a temporary baddie that cycled out in six months (1982 I think) or so but when he came back (early 1984 or late 1983) he was exclusive long term to the WWF and never left (though health issues caused him to take an extended time off before transitioning to the booth). So if ownership and / or terms of employment change I'd create separate entries. Also if there was a significant separation between tours of duty I'd create separate entries. But if it was a regular pattern I'd create one entry for it. This is just me. Others may feel differently and have good reasons for doing so. All I'd say is have fun with Andre's job history lol. Edit: after rereading in Flair's specific case I'd separate where he was absent from All Japan for more than a calendar year. again, just me. harrypotterhead
In the works of creating a real-world mod from scratch also looking into other mods and getting more insight quick question.... about EVOLVE, shine, FIP, etc and every thing associated with WWNLIVE would it be best to make WWNLive a company and make those promotions it's brands? not sure how they work properly if they use the same commentators or refs, etc? Supermercado
Any point to keeping imported stables that aren't yet active? (e.g. if you import from a real world mod but are playing a 90s game) Will the game use these names for stables or create them if the right workers end up in the same company at the same time? You can't pre-set workers to join so I doubt it.

Given there's no year triggers I'm leaning towards them being useless and deleting them - unless there is a chance random stables in the game will spawn with the real names.

P.S - A lot of the conversions bring across the wrong workers anyway, I've just D-Generation X with Gene Okerlund listed twice as the only members.
