OOC Welcome!

Hello everyone, I like many here are very excited for TEW 2020. A lot of talk about WWE selling their broadcasting rights for major events happened earlier this year, and I thought it would be a great scenario to play as. Vince McMahon no longer has a majority stake of the WWE, Triple H has been given a lot more responsibilities and power, and a huge cooperation in Disney to ensure the WWE runs as a tight ship. Lots of exciting backstage storylines to explore!

The exciting thing about Disney is the presentation and creative ideas WWE can have. I plan on using a lot more "Cinematic" matches where appropriate. Who knows, WWE might even get their own reality show on Disney Plus :p

I plan on really focusing on character work and story lines, with a lot of financial background for this dynasty (WWE stock price updates, TV ratings and PPV buy-rates, financial reports, etc). Expect shorter TV show write ups, with extended coverage for PPV/Network specials.

Thank you so much for checking out my dynasty, lets get this show on the road!

WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT PRESS CONFERENCE

STAMFORD- Vince McMahon and Paul Levesque held a press conference today outside of the World Wrestling Entertainment head office. Disney representatives were also in attendance.

“There has been a lot of buzz lately within the WWE. This year looks to be one of the most exciting and promising times for us, and we are committed to delivering the best wrestling on the planet for all our wonderful fans.”

During the press conference, the following information was released:

-Monday Night RAW will now be a two hour broadcast. This was a Disney decision, as they do not want new potential fans to be put off by the 3 hour commitment it takes to view an entire episode of RAW.

-RAW and Smackdown will be live streaming on the Disney Plus network. RAW and Smackdown will also be on television, TV channel information will be released shortly.

-Monthly events will be returning to Pay Per View, and available one day after on the Disney Plus app. It is understood that fans will be upset by this, but the quick turnaround time will allow fans to view it quickly if they do not purchase the event.

-WWE will continue to push and expand in international markets. These markets include India, Russia, and Japan.

-The location of the February “Super-Show Down” event will be moved to Australia. WWE will not be having any more events in Saudi Arabia for the time being.

WWE/DISNEY GENERAL MEETING

Vince McMahon, Paul Levesque, Kurt Angle, and Paul Heyman sit in a room together. They all stand when Bob Chapek (DISNEY CEO) and Johnathan Davis enter the room.

"Hello everyone, welcome to our first creative meeting. I would like to introduce you to Johnathan Davis. Johnathan is our Lead Creative Director, and will be here to give you the support and oversee things." Bob stated.

"Now when looking at our roster, we should be creating our shows around Brock Lesnar, John Cena, and Roman Reigns. There is no doubt in my mind that these larger then life superstars will have a great appeal and crossover to our Disney Marvel fans. We want to see these guys at the top of the card". Davis said.

"Looking forward, we have the royal rumble coming up. The fans really enjoy the unpredictability of this event, and I believe we should have a winner who the fans are not expecting." Vince McMahon disclosed.

The room nodded in agreement.

"So Roman Reigns will likely not be winning the rumble then. An option we have is putting him in the title match, and facing Bray Wyatt at the event." Kurt Angle said.

"Lets do it one better. I can`t think of a better main event for the Smackdown Disney Plus debut then Roman Reigns vs Bray Wyatt! Get the promo team started, that will happen this Friday." Paul said.

Vince McMahon was about to say something, but he decided not to.

"And Paul? Just a personal request, but no more dog food matches". Paul ended the meeting on this statement.
