steesh07
Is there a grace period when moving up sizes for promotions? I currently have WWE moving from big to large in February and then crash to medium in May. Just seems to be two big shifts in such a small amount of time. 84paradigmshift
So I'm trying to run AEW and I've got storylines going and such but I can't get past this whole "Unimportant" thing. Every match I book (Cody vs. Jericho/Omega vs. Moxley/Dustin vs. MJF) all show as "terrible" or "abysmal" no matter how I book them....and within three shows Dynamite is dropped by TNT. How am I able to make people "important" in a reasonable amount of time.....and more so...what makes matches with guys like Cody/Jericho/Daniels/Omega "abysmal"?? Definitely a mod issue. Won't name which, but I tried it out yesterday and only about a dozen people are over 65 popularity out of thousands. The rest are copied and pasted with a couple stats tweaked. Over workers like Omega are given 30 to 40 US popularity, and when you start, Dynamite can't even pull in 1,000 people. I played one show and deleted the mod. chad3590
So I am unsure what exactly happened because I think I just deleted the Email. But I think CANN dropped me as SWF. Maybe the contract ran out but I think I would have noticed something leading up to it? Either way I hit simulate until next user controlled show and realized when it moved me up a few weeks lol. Either way, now every broadcaster says its "Wary" because my deal with CANN collapsed less than a year ago. Is there anything I can do? Seems as if I can't really do much in the next year and that will kind of be the downfall for me in this game. Edit: Just looked at the editor and yeah the deal was supposed to expire in 4 years from the start of the game. I was only 2 months in. I wasn't really able to do much about the 81 that they required per show and it seems I got dropped. Seems a little unfair that im stuck without being able to lock a broadcaster for a year now. JPEG
I've been trying to do a NJPW save, but I keep getting penalized for matches being "too short for an important match". What deems a match important? I mainly get it during the typical multi man tag matches New Japan does on most shows. Is the importance of a match based on the pop of the workers? Has anyone found a good product setting to run NJPW realistically?

Has anyone found a good product setting to run NJPW realistically? Yeah I believe this triggers as long as there's a star or major star in the match which is super annoying when I want to throw an inconsequential 6-men tag in the undercard. Too short and they think it should have gotten more minutes, too long and they'll say the undercard guys are overused (had to turn this off). I personally just take the penalty or if time allows it, give them more minutes with overused penalty turned off (doesn't make sense why they'd be overused anyways if they're in a 6-men tag match). Also if you think about it the penalty does make sense because a filler 6-men tag match shouldn't realistically get a high rating.
Basic Chunnel
How do we set the pool of pictures for new workers? I have to set picture requirements to "No" in order for any dojos to produce graduates in my current game. Anybody have tips about this one? In previous versions of the game (pre-2013 I think), when you ended a storyline it gave a boost to workers depending on their storyline success, but now that's instantaneous and you can essentially end storylines/take workers out as you see fit without any kind of bonus/penalty.</p><p> </p><p> It's a much more flexible and better system, IMO. I often drop workers in and out of storylines all over the place.</p>

HarryFandango86
So I had two main guys at mania I wanted to push John Morrison And edge. Morrison is like mid 70s with warm momentum vs Jericho who is mid 80s with very warm momentum, and I have Morrison win but all that happened was Jericho lost a bunch of pop and Morrison didn’t budge not even by 1. It was similar Story when I had edge Beat Eddie Guerrero. The one thing I will say is I didn’t have ‘decisive victory’ ticked. Does anyone have any thoughts though on why Morrison and edge didn’t budge an inch in popularity? Does it really have to be all in and be like white hot momentum and decisive victory. It further confused me cos both matches got respectable scores overall (Morrison vs Jericho ; mid 80s match) (edge vs Eddie g ; around 92) so it’s not like the matches bombed. 1PWfan
This may have already been asked, but what's the metric by which show quality's impact on size is measured? I know that your shows have to be better than your current size to improve your name value, but how much better? For example, my first show in RMW was rated at a 26 over a size of 9, my second show at 34 over 9 and my third at 32 over 9. As you can see, despite putting on shows way over my size it's not gone noticeably up, so I'm wondering how that rating impacts size increase. darth_cuscus
Probably a dumb question, but what is the purpose of counter-programming? Obviously it can affect another company's TV Rating, but how does that affect the other company? Does the lowered viewership affect them in any way? Or are ratings really just to add some flavour to the game?

Obviously it can affect another company's TV Rating, but how does that affect the other company? Does the lowered viewership affect them in any way? How big a blow that would be would vary on where they get the bulk of their money.
neslo024
Does working on the house show circuit effect worker's health? I keep getting emails to rest basically all my ME in SWF even if they are only wrestling once a week. I usually have them cut a promo if they aren't wrestling and I'll still get the email they need to take a break. Should I be leaving them off tv entirely for them to get fully rested? It affects their fatigue as they are obviously performing that day (even though it's "dark"). But no, you don't have to leave them off TV unless it's really bad, and you'll get a road agent note that their performance suffers. There's an increased risk for injury the more the fatigue they have (even minor). It's your call. How do I book the B show first? Thanks. "Events and TV" - "show priority" Then select "ascending". It's based on prestige, so ascending is from low to high. It's in the manual under events and TV.

According to the handbook the show rating needs to be roughly 5 or more points higher than your company popularity to make gains. . but as brat99 said the industry level will have an impact on how much you can grow. . however company momentum is purely aesthetic, and while it does change based on your popularity changes, according to the handbook it doesn't have any direct effect on them. . Bikemelon
I'm wondering why this is happening on my A shows? Both performers giving 70+ performances but 46 overall. Both popular with high momentum too. I'm also using good refs and agents, but I don't understand why the overall dropoff is so drastic? It doesn't seem to be affecting B show since those are being calculated relatively normally. Notes like Keep Strong, Dominate and Protect can seriously ding an overall match score. Conversely, notes like Open Match, Slow Build (for matches of that length) and Call in a Ring (provided both workers are capable, don’t worry, the Road Agent will tell you if they can’t in TEW2020) will ensure you the best possible rating for that match you’re showing there

Open match, pinfall victory, decisive win. Nothing out of the ordinary from what I'd normally be booking for TV. It's been happening for all my matches on A shows. I don't think that it is purely aesthetic - the handbook says (under Attendance Levels) that company momentum affects show attendance. This could indirectly affect popularity gains as (also per the handbook) you get boosted growth with more viewers, but I agree with you that it's probably not relevant in the situation you're quoting.
