Got some even better scores than before. Bret/Slaughter and Undertaker/Blanchard, & Tatanka/Perfect could be great with one great worker carrying the load in each match. Meanwhile, Hogan/Savage II & the main event are intriguing enough to create a genuinely alluring package. I seriously think this version of WrestleMania IX is an improvement over the original. I can only imagine how the main storyline was promoted on TV. I’m imagining Vince, in character as Mr. McMahon, yelling “By God, I’m sick of the Warrior as World Heavyweight Champion! If none of my main event wrestlers can put an end to him, I’m gonna do it myself!” Warrior’s rambling promos now have a worked-shoot element to them, like his WCW monologue. For the match itself, I’m imagining all these villains from Warrior and the WWF’s past (Greg Valentine, Ted DiBiase, King Kong Bundy, Big Boss Man, Sherri Martel, etc.) running down to the ring to screw Warrior out of the title and celebrating with Vince as the show goes off the air. Very interesting read about the event. But I guess it didn't end well for Vince... As WCW Great American Bash had a rating of 93... And featured: Someone got his talent stolen. How do you keep track of what is happening? That's the neat thing... I don't! Seriously though... I always pre-book my events and then have tours leading up to these matches. Not every stable/worker will be featured at every event, but usually I have one or two big tag matches on the undercard, which gets alot of workers on the shows. Otherwise I give the workers strategic time off after losing at big events (unless I'm in the middle of a storyline). I have to admit that I've turned "Crowd burn out" off, simply because the way I book my major events is similar to a festival and the shows usually end up at 300 minutes+, with the important stuff happening in the final 120 minutes EDIT: I also only roughly plan out ahead and go with the flow instead. Atm the Billington Bulldogs have no pop in Japan, so I've made them Trios champions alongside Ospreay, to give them some good matches while getting more pop. Meanwhile I'm also keeping Ospreay hot, to eventually have him lose to Steen, Naito & Takagi in a year or so Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
