The RAW Quest Title

OtQ6n8g.jpgVUAxLCI.jpgShdR4xr.jpg

2016 was a quiet year in terms of big stories, but the RAW Quest Title changed hands a few times... Maurice Jackson held the Title for the first half of the year, eventually losing it to Cole Taylor in May 2016, making Taylor a 2-time Champ... On the Season Finale of that same year, some seven months later, Taylor would lose the Gold to Lynx, who was also capturing his second Quest Title...

The RAW Tag Team Titles

This year, there were no new teams mixing it up, but that would change over the coming years... Rod Sullivan and Nicky Gilbert (The Next Big Things) enjoyed their 4th reign as Champs, holding the Gold from December 2015 until June 2016... The Brat Pack (Artemis Eyre-Rochester and Thurston Darcy III) would win their 2nd Tag Titles from The Next Big Things, but would only hold them for four months... On the 2016 Battle Royale Show, The Melbourne Blondes began their 4th reign, by stopping The Brat Pack...

The RAW TV Title

OdEGKOL.jpgHkQh4ct.jpg

From October 2015 until July 2016, 'Mr. Australia' Kerry Wayne was TV Champion... In his 2nd reign as the company's top Champion, he defeated the likes of Rahmel Goode, Montgomery Croft and Echo... but then would lose the Belt on the first episode after the Mid-Season Finale to 'Unbreakable' Luke Steele (3)... Steele held it for the rest of the year, following feuds with Wayne and the incomparable Captain Wrestling II...

So, 2016 there was no real change from the previous game in terms of signings, debuts, tag team splits, injuries, or things of that nature... In 2017, the landscape would change a fair bit... But 2018 is where it really shifts gears... You'll see...

The RAW Quest Title

ShdR4xr.jpgobM7JQb.jpg

Lynx would hold the RAW Quest Title for 10 memorable months, until Matty Wills got a shock win, turning Lynx babyface with the way he congratulated and commended the youngster. It would eventually lead to a re-match, but more on that later.

Injuries

A couple of big injuries in 2017... Firstly, Montgomery Croft broke his arm badly in March, leaving him out for the rest of the year... In December, Echo would suffer a broken neck, and his injury kept him out for 14 months!! The injury, two weeks before the Season Finale episode, would prompt Frogue Element to talk trash about his long-time rival, turning the charismatic youngster heel, and leaving no opportunity for Echo to respond.

The RAW Tag Team Titles

2zL0xkX.jpgAwHZg7O.jpgDD6dcD7.jpgWC4KANN.jpg

The RAW Tag Team Titles would only have one change in 2017, as The Melbourne Blondes lost the Gold to The Wayne Brothers (Kal and Kian) in July... Strangely, this loss would begin a lengthy losing streak for the Blondes... Stantz and Belushi just couldn't get any traction at all, and were beaten by everyone!! More on that later. As for the Wayne Brothers, they had a very good Title reign, and it helped establish them as a legitimate tag team threat.

Under New Management

In September 2017 Brittini Burke quit The Brat Pack, aligning herself with The RAW Giants (Manhunter and Skyscraper). The trio shouldn't work, but strangely it does. The Brat Pack have kind of been rudderless ever since. Also in November of 2017, Monday Next asked for and was granted, his release from the company following an argument with Vincent Victory. Speaking of rudderless, Next has done nothing of note since leaving. Rumour has it, he wants to go and work in Japan where his style would be a much better fit than it was in RAW.

The RAW TV Title

HkQh4ct.jpgppxuFsk.jpg

Luke Steele's RAW TV Title reign lasted for a solid seven months, until Swoop McCarthy would come and challenge him on the 8th Anniversary Show. Swoop would then hold the Belt for the rest of the year and beyond as his popularity continued to soar.

Again, a fairly quiet year for RAW, but 2018 is where business really picks up. An Echo-less 2018 due to a severe injury, and a lot of changes to try to replace the guy RAW were grooming for super-stardom...

This is brilliant so far, I love this!

RAW is one of my favorite companies to play in the C-Verse and I am very excited to see your take on it.

Ahh thank you very much :) appreciate it. So far, it's just a catch up for those who don't know about RAW's changes. Things get really interesting in this next post... 2018 was a BIG year for RAW...

The RAW Quest Title

obM7JQb.jpgShdR4xr.jpgOdEGKOL.jpg

Matty Wills made an excellent underdog, babyface Champion, but Lynx would challenge him to a re-match in January, and capture the Gold for the 3rd time. Many believed that Lynx would kick on from here, and 'replace' the injured Echo, but instead he held the Title for nine months, only dropping it to Kerry Wayne in an excellent match at the Battle Royale Show.

Injuries

As previously mentioned, Echo would miss the whole of 2018 with a broken neck. Montgomery Croft returned to the company following his broken arm in January 2018, and a short run alongside The Brat Pack didn't really work out for either of them. Rod Sullivan would get a nasty knee injury in the Season Finale in December of 2018, leaving him on the shelf for six months. Nicky Gilbert would go solo.

The RAW Tag Team Titles

DD6dcD7.jpgWC4KANN.jpgh262yt6.jpgnXbt51Z.jpg8L5P9b0.jpgRWQ66Bt.jpg

The Wayne Brothers (Kal and Kian) would only hold the Belts until the 9th Anniversary Show in February, losing them to the entertaining Heath and Horton (2). Their reign would last seven months, before The RAW Giants (Manhunter and Skyscraper) under the guidance of Brittini Burke would destroy them on Episode 450, capturing their 4th Titles.

New Signings and Debuts

I've mentioned 2018 is where it all changed for this roster, and that's because RAW went on a hiring spree. Aiming to hurt their competition, and frankly succeeding, they brought in a number of big names, and some smaller ones too. In February, at the 9th Anniversary Show, The Melbourne Blondes (Blake Belushi and Rick Stantz) would attempt to end their Losing Streak, and made an 'Open Challenge' on the Season Finale back in December. The Team of Alexander Banks and Spiffy Stan Standish (God's Gift) would show up from APW, and accept the challenge. Not only that, but Banks and Standish would win, continuing the losing streak for the Blondes. However, following the match, Belushi turned on his partner, and beat him to a pulp. Ending their run as a team, and turning Belushi heel!!

Also on that show, a man named Raymond Royce showed up, and began talking about his 'Boys' The LiberTeens. Was it a new tag team? No. It was a new Boy Band, featuring Will, CJ, George and Frankie, and they all debuted one month later in March. January 2018 saw the debut of the imposing Tombstone. While we had to wait until December for the next debut: Nathan McKenzie showed up on the Season Finale and saved Kerry Wayne from his brothers!! On the way out in 2018 were Vincent Victory and Gregory Grace. Colour Commentator Rebecca Richey would be given the Book upon Victory's departure, but it was only supposed to be a short-term thing for her.

The RAW TV Title

ppxuFsk.jpggTTREoT.jpgxtNzvcM.jpg

Swoop McCarthy began his 3rd reign in February 2017, and held it for an impressive 13 months before dropping it to Rahmel Goode (2) in March 2018. Swoop had an epic feud with Frogue Element throughout the year, but sadly for Frogue, he lost every single match they had! Goode's reign would last six months, until Episode 450 when he would lose the Gold to Captain Wrestling II for his 3rd reign.

So 2018 was in the books, and a lot of changes as I mentioned previously. McKenzie, Banks, Standish and Tombstone are all big signings for RAW and they'd all go on to have a good 2019. Echo was on the verge of a return as 2018 ran down...

Once you start to write what are your plans for January 2020? I assume you’re going to be booking to get a handle on the save, but start the diary in February? And if so, will you just give a rough recap of January?

Sorry for all the questions, I’m just really getting around this dynasty!

Thanks man :) Don't apologise for asking questions. I always think if one person asks it, there might be a bunch of other people wanting to know, that didn't ask! So you're the voice of the voiceless :D

In answer to the first part, yes. Character bios for injuries and debuts, title histories, employment start dates, these kind of things. I made a sort of 'timeline' of events, and patched it all together. 2016 was really boring for RAW! 2017 didn't really get interesting until the second half. Two big injuries in '17, but Echo's meant he missed the whole of 2018! '18 was a real banner year for us. 2019 was also very strong and eventful! I had fun doing it, and I'm glad you're impressed by it :)

As for January, it's something I threw around in my head a few times. I figured I'd have the demo for one month (one week in real life) to play about, then get the new game. Then the new game moves back a couple of weeks, and the demo gives us access for TWO months (which I didn't know!!) My idea for the TV only schedule was always to have a 'month off', where I would book the shows in-game, but they wouldn't be 'Televised' shows, as in, I wouldn't write them up for you guys. It's a great way to have a play with the roster, see what certain people can do and just throw some stuff at the wall and see what sticks. Things like tag team combinations, opponent combinations, promos. All these kinds of things, and I thought, what better month than the first one.

As for what I actually did in game. The first two shows gave me all the info I really needed. Paired some guys up as partners and opponents that went well, found some poor chemistry in one semi-established tag team (hate it/love it when this happens in game!) and then found out a lot about my roster in terms of what drugs they all like! For January week three, I had a go at an in-game Tournament, since the schedule for this diary has TWO this year. A tag tournament over two weeks, and a one-night singles tournament. Got my head around that feature, and really liked it. Then four January Week Four, I just decided to book the 'Season Finale' from 2019 how I saw it going down. It went very well. Up until then, by far the best show I've booked, but I'm happy to say in February Week Two I smashed that rating by some way. Nearly finished fully writing my second show out.

Once I have a couple 'in the can', I'll start the diary properly. Really hard to know when to start it with the uncertainty around the game release date. I currently have two shows basically finished completely. and then two left to book before the demo runs out of clock...

EPISODE # 520 – 2019 A Year In Review

The RAW Quest Title

OdEGKOL.jpgDD6dcD7.jpguUlZc0q.jpgmWCT5Dn.jpg

Another Banner Year for RAW saw Kerry Wayne and Captain Wrestling II go into the year as the singles Champions. But Wayne's Quest Title reign would only last until February. On the epic 10th Anniversary Show, Kerry would put Kal Wayne over for his first taste of Singles Gold, but only after Kian interfered and cost Kerry the Match! On the mid-season finale Nicky Gilbert would beat Kal after Gilbert's best friend Rod Sullivan returned from injury and helped him against the evil Wayne Brothers. Gilbert's run would last six months, when Tombstone would beat him on the Season Finale!

The Returns

Rod Sullivan came back in June of this year, but has found it tough as a singles star, particularly in the wake of Nicky Gilbert's popularity. But March 2019 saw the return of Echo! The man once groomed as the next TV Champion had 14 months off after breaking his neck, and he went right after Frogue Element in an epic feud. When we came back after the Season Opener in January, Brodie Lachlan and Rose Wills announced that they were in a relationship (They had been behind the scenes for some time), and so Brodie and Rose's brother Matty would form a tag team. In April 2019, Will Beaumont would quit The LiberTeens (if you ask them, he was kicked out!) and go solo as a babyface. They replaced their outgoing star with 'The Innovator' Tye LiberTeen.

The RAW Tag Team Titles

8L5P9b0.jpgRWQ66Bt.jpgh262yt6.jpgnXbt51Z.jpgwT8F6UF.jpg2dYnpwb.jpg

After a dominant run as Champions, The RAW Giants were defeated by the team they had beaten to win the Belts in April of 2019, as Heath and Horton would become 3-time Tag Champs! The fan favourites had an equally impressive run, losing the belts in at The Summer Festival in November to newcomers God's Gift.

New Signings and Debuts

Some under-the-radar signings in 2019. In May, 3AM (Matt Stoppard and Marcus Kerr) would come in, although they wouldn't debut until July after some backstage 'issues' shall we say from Stoppard. Their momentum tanked following his actions, but they've recovered well with a string of impressive performances in the ring. Another new team was formed in 2019, as two young studs were put together. Gladiator and JT Ace both debuted in October after a few months learning their craft and gaining some chemistry. These are two BIG men, Gladiator is 6' 7” and weighs 331 lbs, while the Jamaican JT Ace is 6'10”, and tips the scales at 365 lbs! Thoughts are they'll eventually feud with The RAW Giants, who both weigh over 360 lbs themselves.

The RAW TV Title

xtNzvcM.jpgppxuFsk.jpggwjhSLZ.jpg

Captain Wrestling II epitomises what it means to be RAW Champion, but a Dream Match between him and Swoop McCarthy on the 10th Anniversary Show saw Swoop go over, and become a record 4-time TV Champ, cementing his place as RAW's top babyface. He beat Captain Wrestling II to end Capt's last reign as TV Champion too, a fact that wasn't unnoticed by the veteran. In October 2019, after a lengthy 'Feud Of The Year' between Swoop and Maurice Jackson, Frogue Element would shock the world and win the Gold in a Triple Threat Match, pinning Swoop while Jackson was on the outside of the ring, and capturing his first TV Title!! Frogue now heads into 2020 atop the company, and an interesting cast of potential babyface challengers, including the former Champs Swoop and Captain Wrestling II. Kerry Wayne won't be far behind them, and neither will Loxley Robbins, who hasn't held the Gold for EIGHT YEARS!! Element's old rival Echo will also be chomping at the bit to get to the top of the company, a place he should have made it to but for a severe neck injury.

As 2019 wound down, Swoop McCarthy put pen to paper on a lucrative 5 year written contract with RAW, keeping him tied to the company, and ensuring the future of their top star...

But that's not all that happened in November 2019... A former 7-Time SWF World Champion moved to Australia to 'Retire' from Wrestling... But then he turned RAW on his TV, and fell in love with the product...

Let's go Swoop ah yeah! :D

Alright, and we’re all caught up... let’s DO this!

Patients my friend, patients. Keep in mind, the game isn't out for another 2 and a half weeks, so I can only post four shows. I won't be posting the first one for a little while yet.

This is how I should have posted the Schedule originally. I've never liked how it came out in the previous post, or the poster I made for Page One...

The 11th Season Of RAW Attitude!

FEBRUARY 2020 (week 1) – DECEMBER 2020 (week 4)

____________________________________________________________________________________

[JANUARY]

As we know, January will be a month 'Off TV', where we'll just air re-cap shows in place of the weekly TV show. It gives the company a chance to 're-set' each year, even though most characters will remain in place, you might see some guys not come back for the next season, and some take extended absences.

____________________________________________________________________________________

[FEBRUARY]

There is no 'Special Episode' of RAW Attitude in February. The first big show is in Week One of March, so we spend the month of February building towards it each year.

____________________________________________________________________________________

iRIBBLp.jpg

[MARCH, Week One]

RAW celebrates it's 11th Anniversary in Week One of March, and what better way to celebrate than to bring everyone together for arguably the second biggest show of the year? This is a great way to kick off a New Season, and there are normally debuts, injury returns and Title changes galore.

____________________________________________________________________________________

MUtGp8p.jpg

[APRIL, Week Two]

In April RAW Attitude! descends into chaos, as the roster is split into teams of four. Some members of the team stay behind, others go off on an Easter Egg Hunt using various clues and even winning clues by their teammates competing in and winning matches back at the arena. Winning team get Title shots all round!

____________________________________________________________________________________

NnrKXPt.jpgmWaRyF1.jpg

[MAY, Week Three and Week Four]

The annual Tag Team Tournament, held over two weeks in May. Eight teams enter, and the overall winners get a Tag Team Title shot on the mid-season Finale Show!

____________________________________________________________________________________

tPN3MjR.jpg

[JUNE, Week Four]

At the end of June, it's the Mid-Season Finale. Another big show in RAW's calendar. Feuds tend to end or start here, as we gear up for the second half of the year.

____________________________________________________________________________________

[JULY]

No 'Special Episode' in July. The Mid-Season Finale in June is kind of a reset in some ways.

____________________________________________________________________________________

emM4nMD.jpg

[AUGUST, Week One]

Another Tournament, this one held over one night on RAW Attitude! The winner here becomes the best wrestler in the company. No Title shots on the line. The only in-ring action on this show, is the Tournament itself.

____________________________________________________________________________________

mjV9q67.jpg

[sEPTEMBER, Week Two]

The 550th Weekly Episode of RAW Attitude! Another 'Birthday Celebration' of sorts for RAW as a company, and they tend to make each landmark episode big (50th and 100th).

____________________________________________________________________________________

LzgBV6B.jpg

[OCTOBER, Week Three]

The Battle Royale Episode pits 20 of RAW's top stars in an Over The Top Rope Match with a twist. The winner of this prestigious match goes on to fight the RAW TV Champion at the Season Finale!

____________________________________________________________________________________

ghuhBEQ.jpg

[NOVEMBER, Week Four]

We head outside for a Summer Festival in November. A BBQ, Stalls, Bouncy Castles and rides for the kids. All sorts going on here!

____________________________________________________________________________________

HVveIoe.jpg

[DECEMBER, Week Four]

And finally... The Season Finale... In all good TV Shows, the Season Finale has some huge moments on it. Main Characters are 'killed off', or leave the show in some way. Here at RAW, we're going to have an annual 'Feast or Fired' type multi-person match. Career vs Career matches often happen on the Season Finale. As do Buried Alive Matches. It's a true Juxtaposition from the November outdoor party.

The following workers will begin 2020 off TV, in order to freshen them up, and bring them back in a bigger way than when they left. It'll also create gaps on the roster for other stars to shine a little and get opportunities they would otherwise not have. The six men taken off TV are: Rahmel Goode, The Brat Back (Rochester and Darcy III), Rick Stantz, Gladiator and JT Ace...</span></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Comic Sans MS';"><span style="color:#00008B;"> </span></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Comic Sans MS';"><span style="color:#00008B;">

Goode was 'storyline injured' in the blow-off to his feud with Loxley Robbins. It is thought that when Goode comes back, he's going to have a big story. Stantz has struggled since his partner Blake Belushi turned on him and the pair went solo. He'll possibly need to be re-packaged in some way, and a big return could be just what he needed. The Brat Pack have long needed a break, but the need for them to be on TV every week didn't allow for them to have one. As the new year begins, and we all have January off, they could do with a couple more months at home to regroup and reinvent. The Tag Team Division in RAW is very strong, and has been for a while, so they can step away without too much trouble. That said, with the splits of The Next Big Things and The Melbourne Blondes, plus the departure of The A-Listers, there's certainly a gap on the roster that these two could fill. And that brings us to Gladiator and JT Ace! Both very green, but both very big and aesthetically pleasing, they have a bright future here. But since they've only had 4 matches, based on their 'tag team experience', they can come in and debut properly later in the year!</span></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Comic Sans MS';"><span style="color:#00008B;"> </span></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Comic Sans MS';"><span style="color:#00008B;"> </span></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Comic Sans MS';"><span style="color:#00008B;">

Yes! Here we go!!

I have to say, I've always played RAW as my first save in every version of the game since TEW2010, but this year their roster just seems even more fun for some reason.

I agree. I obviously worked off the TEW2016 roster when making my story arch plans etc, and I had nothing for Monday Next, Gregory Grace or Vincent Victory. They were just going to job and job unless they'd had some incredible 4 years.!! Grace and Victory have basically been replaced with the LiberTeens, so that's way more fun. And then M.Next has been replaced by Rod Sullivan, I guess? Then throughout the roster there's been little additions that have improved almost every area... Nathan McKenzie, babyface star. Tombstone heel star. Will Beaumont babyface future megastar! Spiffy and Banks heel tag team. 3AM Boys babyface tag team. Frogue, Jackson, Belushi and Gilbert have all had pushes. I think with ten signings you've got enough upper card talent to do a brand split!! I'll need to come up with creative ways to keep people off TV I think.

Just in time for the first shows, I recently got a lot of free time back, and a new TEW plus a diary of yours will surely fill up a good chunk of that gap. :D

Ahh nice to see ya my friend. Happy to help. A lot of people have a lot of free time right now, so if I can do a little bit of rambling on about nonsense for people to help them get through isolation, I will try my best! :D Hope you enjoy what I have planned...

#SwoopMcCarthy- Swoop is already a star and I imagine he can only get better from here, at least he did in my RAW TEW 2016 games!

#FrogueElement- Frogue was one of my favorites to book in TEW 2016 and I'm glad he's reached the top now!

#LoxleyRobbins- Willl he finally win the gold in 2020? Probably not, but give it a shot mate!

#KerryWayne- He'll probably be too busy dealing with other Waynes to win the TV title

#WillBeaumont- Probably the most interesting man on the RAW roster honestly, I imagine he'll start off small and go for the Quest title, but he'll be money in a few years, I guarantee it!

<p><strong>'The Natural' Nicky Gilbert</strong> [vs] Joe 'The Z-Man' Zucco (A natural at winning)</p><p> </p><p>

The 3AM Boys (Stoppard & Kerr) [vs] <strong>God's Gift (Banks & Standish)</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong> (Always liked Banks and Standish)</p><p>

<strong><strong>'The Enigma' Echo</strong></strong> [vs] Louie Louis (Echo is great, I know he's great and you should too!)</p><p> </p><p>

'The Prospect' Rod Sullivan [vs] <strong>'Beautiful' Blake Belushi</strong> </p><p>

(I love Rod but Blake can't lose to a man like him, yet!)</p><p> </p><p>

'Smooth' Brodie Lachlan [vs] <strong>'The Innovator' Tye LiberTeen w/ Raymond Royce</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong> (The boy band should get the push!)</p><p>

'Tailor Made' Cole Taylor [vs] '<strong>Unbreakable' Luke Steele</strong> (Cole is good buuut... STEELE CRUSH)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>'The Real Beaut' Loxley Robbins</strong> [vs] Captain Wrestling II (The Australian Hero vs. the Captain of Wrestling! A fight between imortals! But Loxley deserves the win Jack!)</p><p> </p><p>

#SwoopMcCarthy - The man, the myth, the legend, the Swoop! The best man in all of RAW! I have huge belief in the Swoopman <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

#FrogueElement - He finally did it! He finally became champion! One of the better archs from 2016 to 2020, going from a loser to a winner, I hope the <strong>#Afro</strong> does well!</p><p> </p><p>

#Loxley Robbins - The most baby-ish babyface that ever babyfaced! To me he is boring compared to some of the others, but definitely a good hand for you!</p><p> </p><p>

#KerryWayne - The Australian Hero himself! Such a great worker, just hope he doesn't hold down his "half-brother" Kian, cause Kian is gold.</p><p> </p><p>

#WillBeaumont - The greatest get for RAW! To me a natural heir to Swoop's RAW throne. The <strong>#PrinceOfRAW</strong> has gotten a huge fanbase within the TEW community, and he deserves it! I mean just look at him! He is good lookin' and you better acknowledge it.</p>
