A New Age Of The WWF Pt.2

Recommended Posts

Hey everybody, just wanted to let you know that I just attended my first indy show and I loved it. I saw North East Wrestling last night and tonight I am going to see Ring Of Honor. The card for last night was the following NWA World Title - 1st Time ever: Christian vs. "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles / Great match that ended with Cage saying that as long as he is the champ AJ could get a shot anytime anyplace Chris Sabin vs. Abyss / This matched was reffed be Tommy Dreamer and billed as his last indy appearence because of signing with the new ECW. It was cool he came out and said that he likes TNA and said that this was the first Extreme TNA match. He said that he could not wrestle so he was going to be the ref. However he got into it with Abyss and he and Sabin teamed up and took the Monster down. It rocked . Jay Lethal vs. Xavier Another fantastic match Tommy Dreamer vs. Ron Zombie vs. Tony Devito / Like I said before, Dreamer was not able to wrestle so Justin Credible took his place. Good hard core match. Ricky Landell vs. "Rocket" Fred Curry Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. The Executioner w/ Big Daddy / Fun match with a lot of classic Duggan moments. Hoooooooooo!!!! The Heart Throbs vs. Sex and Violence / The Heart Throbs came out with Lacy (Beautifull woman) and they are a very good tag team. Damian Adams vs. Josh Daniels Not a bad match Overall it was a great night and I got a lot of great pics. After I get them developed I will scan them and post them on Greydog. Now Im hooked and I am going to go to many more.

Sorry about the lack of updates recently. I havent had a chance to play latley but I will get Smackdown out soon and then I will have things going more smoothly. However, since Ive started doing the Diary Ive realized that it is a lot of work. I might cut back the amount of detail in the Diary in order to make the results go more quickly. This way I can really play the game and enjoy it while posting the Diary.

The thing is, I love putting th pics in, its adds a huge amount to the story and it gives everybody reading a visual. I just might cut back a little on the details is all. Its not going to be a huge change from my current layout. Youll see with Smackdown when it comes out.

The Wrestling Observer by Ernesto Rayside Well folks, another great week to be a pro-wrestling fan. On the ratings front, both the WWF and WCW dropped this week, doing a 1.0 and 0.6 respectively. However this can be attributed to the big lineup on other channels. The shows themselves were very good, both showcasing young talent mixed with old talent. WWF management has got to work more on the new guys they have. Just putting them on-screen in good matches is just not enough, they have to get them over with the fans, and the only way to really do that is to put them in strong storylines. It does not help that the WWF’s roster is hugely bloated. However they might have the remedy for that. WWF Looking For Another Development Territory As I stated, the WWF’s roster is so overrun right now, we will never get to see some of these new guys. However WWF’s answer to that apparently is to gain another Dev Territory and send more guys to them as they faze other guys out of the scene. Roster Cuts Coming In addition to going after another development territory, expect the WWF to make drastic roster cuts over the next few months. The word I am getting is that a bunch of the WWF’s older workers will be getting the boat in order to make room for the new generation. Who’s going? That’s one question I could not get answered. However if I had to put my money on anyone, it would be the guys that don’t have the greatest wrestling talent right now. Anyone listen to Hulk Hogan’s words on Sunday Night Heat? I sure did, and it sounds like he may be a little worried about losing his job again. Hulk Hogan To Train With Keiji Mutoh? On Heat this past week, Hulk Hogan stated that he has more wrestling ability then people have seen. My guess is that Hogan has been training with The Great Mutoh, as they have been seen coming out of the gym together as of late. I would expect to see Hogan actually learn how to wrestle by the time he steps into the ring with Michaels at In Your House. I’m not saying he will be Bret Hart, but he may be a different Hulk Hogan than any of us has seen in the past. Super Junior Smackdown?? Last week I said that the WWF has been shopping the idea of a whole new show based around the new Super Juniors that they have signed over the past few months. They plan to test out how well that will go at the Smackdown event after In Your House. Being billed as Super Junior Smackdown, the show will feature nothing but the WWF’s super juniors and the main event will have the crowning of the new WWF World Junior Champion. Chavo Guerrero / Hector Guerrero news Chavo Guerrero Jr. appeared on a radio show last Wednesday, and mentioned that he and best friend Hector Guerrero have had a falling out due to some problems backstage. We will keep you updated if anything else happens between these two. Releases The WWF released Marty Jannetty last Wednesday. Both John Hawk and Bobby Duncum Jr. left GWF last Wednesday. Road Warrior Hawk and Great Muta left WCW last week. Signings Road Warrior Animal has resigned with the WWF. He and Road Warrior Hawk have been sent down to USWA to train up a bit, but expect to see them before the month is over. As stated earlier, Keiji Mutoh, better known as The Great Muta from WCW, has joined the WWF’s roster and is rumored to be training Hulk Hogan. Expect Muta to be the face of WWF’s Junior division. For some reason, Sylvester Ritter, better known to wrestling fans around the world as The Junk Yard Dog, has resigned with the WWF. My sources inside WWF Management have some interesting things to say about this. It seems that JYD is in for a wild ride. Expect him to become a manager in his new run, but expect him to be on the other side of the fence. Could we see JYD as a bad guy? The WWF has signed two young talents in Ian Jenkins and Randy Slack. Already they are being used, however not on TV yet. For those of you not in attendance at Sunday Night Heat this past week, they wrestled as a Tag Team named Play By Play and came up with a victory that really excited the crowd. These guys could have a bright future in the World Wrestling Federation. NWA / WWF We all saw Jeff Jarrett announce himself as the new NWA World Heavyweight Champion. However I cannot get anything out of anyone in regards to the NWA’s new relationship with the WWF. Just a few of the questions I have are 1) How prominent the NWA World Heavyweight Title will be in the WWF’s future 2) Is there anything else that may come back from the NWA, like say for instance the NWA World Tag Team Titles and 3) What exactly does this mean for the NWA. Well thanks for reading folks, until next week, Keep Slamming!

OOC Note: New Format? http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14912 Hey guys, do me a favor and check out the event format on this diary. Is it ok enouph for me to use on this diary. I would still post all the big doings and everything, and may even go into more depth in certain parts of the show. However I plan on having 4 diarys going at once here soon so I need a quick way to do them. The four I am talking about are this one, the C-Verse one, plus I plan on starting a DOTT diary (this one is not certain yet) and I plan on starting a new one once TCP1's new mod comes out. Thanks for your opinions.

OK it looks like people are reading, but nobody has posted any comments. I really want you guy's feedback so I know if I am doing a good job or should I stop doing the diary all together and just play because I suck at it. On a different note, I am going to do Smackdown in the same format as my C-Verse diary to see how it goes and the reaction it gets. Thanks guys.

Stallion, speaking for the first time since coming to the WWF, says that he use to respect Jake Roberts. Roberts (who is physically shaken by Stallions words) says he accepts Stallion opinion of him, but he has another question. What is he going to do when this has-been releases Lucifer on his ass at In Your House? Stallion’s response is simple; he will kill the snake just like he will kill Jake Roberts.
