A New Age Of The WWF Pt.2

Recommended Posts

So what does everybody think. I havent gotten any feedback in a while so I was wondering if anybody is enjoying this diary. This will help me in the long run as to if I should keep this diary going or not. Im planning on doing another one based on TCP1's current era mod once it comes out and I was wondering if I should keep this one going as well. On another note, to make things eaiser for me and to make the process faster, I think I am going to do away with the daily reports of what is happening in other feds. I will probibly only focus on the 'Big 3' (Myself as the WWF, WCW and ECW) in the game. I also want to go back to better match descriptions. Do you guys like this idea or not? Again please leave feedback. Do you like it? Do you hate it? I personally try to leave feedback on every diary I read so you know that people are reading and what they think so if you can, just let me know what you think. And feedback is always welcome.

I think the match descriptions would be nice to have, but not nessecary. I really like this diary, in fact its the only one i read with any regularity. Please, don't get discouraged about the fact nobody is posting. I have been really busy and just got back to reading. Please, keep it up. And yea, doing the Big 3 results is better, i don't even bother looking at the other ones. I really like the rumor reports and things like that.

I know people are reading by the amount of views I get, but its always nice to hear somebodies opinion on what you are doing. Doing the diary is just something we all do for fun around here and the only reason is for other people to enjoy our creativity and booking skills (or lack there of), so its good to hear feedback on what people think about it. Thanks again man!

Jim Ross (JR) – Well Shawn Michaels I would first like to thank you for joining me tonight. Shawn Michaels (SM) – The pleasures all yours JR, trust me. Before we get started, lets just get one thing strait. I’m not here because I like you, or because we are friends so skip the formalities. In fact I don’t like you at all tubby. WWF Management told me that I would be able to talk with no restriction tonight, so lets get down to it! JR – Well let’s get to it then Shawn. You have been a great Intercontinental Champion over the past few months, defeating many opponents. But your actions have not been becoming of a WWF Champion (during all this Shawn is feigning sleep and snoring loudly), but all that can be looked past. However, as of late you have been getting worse and have recruited some of the most elite in the WWF to your ways. Why? SM – (Michaels pretends to wake up then) Huh? Did you say something tubby? Oh yea! Why did I create DX? Well its simple really, to get rid of the old has-beens that have been pollution the WWF for many years now. As you said we are the elite in the World Wrestling Federation, but did you see Kevin Nash or Scott Ramon getting Tag Team Title shots? No they were saddled with these stupid gimmicks that were designed to hold them back. How the hell was Nash supposed to show what he could do with a gimmick like Diesel? And what about Scott Steiner? He was stuck with that loser of a brother of his, not getting the push that he deserved. And don’t get me started on Sean Waltman. If I hadn’t come along he would still be stuck at the bottom of the card. And then we come to myself, did you ever even see me be considered for a shot at the World Title. If the Heart Break Kid had not taken matters into his own hand, who knows what I would be doing now. JR – Oh come on Shawn, do you really expect me to believe that you were being held down? You… SM – I don’t give a sh*t what you believe! When Hulk Hogan came back to the WWF, I saw any chance I had of getting a World Title shot go right down the god damn toilet. Hogan comes back and automatically he gets a WWF Title shot on the night he comes back, and who does he beat? Yokozuna! I could have beaten that overblown rice ball with one hand tied behind my back. JR – So its Hogan’s fault now that you have been held down right? Is that what your trying to tell me! SM – (Shawn gets up and grabs JR by the shirt) You interrupt me one more time fat boy and show you why its called Sweet Chin Music. Hulk Hogan, you go a train all you want old man. You train with the best in the world because it’s not going to matter. You were nothing more than a muscle bound assh*le who got a shot because of your looks. I have fought with my blood, sweat and tears to get where I am today. Every time I saw myself getting stuck I took actions to move myself forward. I Superkicked that piece of crap Marty Jannetty threw a window and moved on. Now I’m gonna do the same to you Hogan. Once I become the World Heavyweight Champion I am going to make sure guys like you never get a foothold in this business again. Do you hear me Hogan, you ass is mine come the PPV. I am going to shove your teeth down your throat. (He then looks back at JR and gives him a vicious Superkick, knocking him out) Rating: B Overall Rating: C+

The Wrestling Observer The Worlds Best Weekly Wrestling Newsletter by Ernesto Rayside Another great week in wrestling that showed the big two have got there work cut out for them when it comes to this war between them. There were some very solid matches for both shows this week, but I have to say I was disappointed in WCW Fall Brawl. The match ups could have been so much better with the talent they have on that roster. However it was not a total lose as we had great matches come out of the International Heavyweight Title match between Ric Flair and Kevin Sullivan and the World Title match between Big Van Vader and Barry Windham. Now we have WWF In Your House right around the corner with some big matches of there own. Can they pull in more PPV Buys with their mega Main Event than WCW? We will just have to wait and see. Now, on to the week in review. Releases As stated in this newsletter earlier, expect the WWF to start letting more and more of the older, less talented stars go, and this week we saw a whole bunch of it. WCW can have a field day with some of these guys if they so wished. The World Wrestling Federation released Lex Luger after we saw The Undertaker put him into the casket last week, Rick Martel after he lost to The Stallion, Peter Polaco, Barry Horowitz, Jim Duggan, Jim Neidhart, Jim Powers and Terry Taylor after his retirement speech. What a week for these guys! Rumors Nothing much in the way of rumors, so I have to start one. I don’t see Hogan dropping the Belt to Shawn Michaels. I see this feud going on for a couple of more months to give Michaels the rub and then have him move on to other things, possibly a feud with The Stallion. However for the WWF to bring back Hogan, just to make him a transitional champion (much like Bob Backlund) would be a waist of money. Shawn Michaels will one day hold the World Heavyweight Championship, but in my opinion, just not this Sunday. Well thanks again everyone for reading and I will see you at In Your House because I have front row seats and we will have a detailed report on everything that happened next week in my newsletter. See you then!

Some people put The Insiders on top, saying they would bully there way through The Gunns. Others said that The Gunns’ tag experience would give them the edge. However nobody expected the highly competitive match put on by both of these teams. Both teams used a great deal of Double Team moves to try and put the other team down. At one point The Insiders were beating on Billy Gunn, keeping him in their corner. However he was able to get the hot tag to Bart Gunn who cleaned house. The Gunns set Scott Ramon up for the Side Slam / Leg Drop for the win when Shawn Michaels came down a distracted the ref. Kevin Nash got in the ring with a chair and nailed both Bart and Billy. Bret Hart proved why he is the best in the business today, and Chris Beniot showed that sooner or later he could take that title from Bret. The match had a lot of back and forth moves with neither man really gaining much of an edge over the other. The ending came when Benito went for a Dropkick. Bret grabbed his legs out of the air and slammed him down to the mat. Not letting go of Beniot’s legs, Bret quickly tied the stunned Beniot into the Sharpshooter. JR at one point said that he hoped we did not see a repeat of last week on Smackdown. As the match was going on, Paul Bearer snuck out from the back and hit Backlund with a Low Blow. Backlund dropped the Urn and Bearer quickly snatched it up. Immediately there was a change in The Undertaker. He was ready to deliver a huge punch in the corner to a beaten Randy Savage when he stopped and looked at ringside. Backlund, now recovered, saw The Undertaker change and went running after Bearer.
