Nikk plays TEW 2020

Road to Glory 3 - History Part 3 (Jul 2020 - Dec 2020)

We continued to rise quickly off the back of consistent shows to round out 2020. We dropped back down from 3 weekly shows to 2 when we reached a deal with WrestleWorld to show NHPW events. With all of America now seeing the talent on display in New Haven it was off to the races.

Just a month later NHPW rose to Small size. We rocketed up in popularity and won the most improved company award in the year ends. It was around this time I began to think how I would handle the move to Medium...

In moving down to 2 shows I moved some of the titles around, and renamed a few as well. The Thursday Night title was renamed to the New Haven Openweight. The Sunday and Tuesday titles were retired. In there place came the Lightning and the Tap Out titles. Later in the year we added the Thunder Tag Team title to be showcased on Tuesdays.

Finally, the home stretch of our little history tour here. The last little bit of small before we jump up to Medium. As I slowly built up to hit Medium I also built up the rebrand. The show starts out with something as-to-yet unseen in this company, a worker talking. This is not just any worker though, it's new general manager and new member of the announcing team Joanne Rodriguez!</p><p> </p><p>

J-Ro makes an impassioned introduction, highlighting the year long rise of New Haven Pro and the new world of MYTHIC. She says tonight we will see some of the best of the best in MYTHIC. She also confirms that New Haven Pro ... isn't going anywhere! NHPW will remain a sister company (in game terms a brand split) for up and coming workers.</p><p> </p><p>

J-Ro also makes two more HUGE announcements.</p><p> </p><p>

"First, this Sunday we will have our first monthly big event. Big events are where you can expect the marquee matchups, the best vs the best. It all starts THIS Sunday with Sunday Night GOLD."</p><p> </p><p>

"Finally, we've started up a new tournament to crown the first ever MYTHIC Heavyweight Champion. This tournament, called GODSFALL is a 12 man, 2 block, round robin event, with the winner of each block facing off in June at Hero's Quest for both the GODSFALL and Heavyweight championship!"</p><p> </p><p>
