1992-1996 NJPW, April.

IWGP Heavyweight: Ron Simmons (1x)

IWGP Junior: Jushin "Thunder" Liger (6x)

IWGP U-30: Yujia Nagata (Inaugural/1x)

IWGP Tag Team: Kobashi & Misawa

1996 Young Lion Cup: Tetsuhiro Kuroda

Some Info:

Hashimoto dethroned Chono, actually. After besting an upstart in Satoshi Kojima, Ron Simmons earned his shot, pinning Chono the next night to start this feud off. Simmons did the unthinkable and defeated Hashimoto.

Liger continues to dominate, defeating a returning Benoit (MMA victory.) Benoit was actually supposed to win, but Eddie once again got hit for drugs. Legit for 2 years this storyline has been pushed back because Eddie and Benoit deciding to **** things up. Done with that. Eddie is in a little bit of purgatory for a bit.

Debuted the U-30 title early because of the overwhelming talent I have now in my midcard. With only one major heavyweight title... I needed to do something. I don't want to introduce the IC title this early, so I went with the U-30 title.

Injury bug strikes!!!

Jan 1970 - May (Wk.1) 1972

WWWF World Heavyweight - The Destroyer

WWWF US Heavyweight - Wahoo McDaniel

WWWF Junior Heavyweight - Danny Hodge

WWWF World Tag Team - Bruno Sammartino & Spiros Arion

Jan 1970 - June (Wk.3) 1972

WWWF World Heavyweight - The Destroyer

WWWF US Heavyweight - Cowboy Bob Ellis

WWWF Junior Heavyweight - Danny Hodge

WWWF World Tag Team - Ivan Koloff & Nikolai Volkoff (The Iron Curtain)

The Spoiler, Abe Jacobs, Wahoo McDaniel, Earl Maynard, AND Spiros Arion all went down with injuries. Each one of them held a major stake in the stories they were involved in, so this caused some major shuffling in the book and took some maneuvering to get the WWWF back on track.

Bruno was allowed to choose a new tag partner in Pedro Morales, and after a couple strong defenses, Koloff & Volkoff took advantage and pried the championships loose. Bruno has been taking his time on the rematch, and could possibly choose Arion over that of Morales when it comes time.

Wahoo's injury was kayfabe'd to be JJ Dillon & John Quinn's fault in a 3-man tag causing him to turn babyface. Cowboy Bob Ellis & John Quinn battled as the #1 & #2 contenders for the US Championship, and once again JJ interfered. Wahoo and The Stomper arrive to mute the ringside shenanigans as Ellis hits the running bulldog to win the US belt. Afterwards a massive brawl breaks out when Wahoo takes out Quinn (and later JJ) with one of his crutches.

Danny Hodge has been on a tear. Holding the Junior Heavyweight title for just over a month, he's already defended his belt 7 times. Current contender Johnny Valiant has been employing Muhammad Ali-like tactics to see if he can break Hodge's resolve. With Abe Jacobs in his corner, it's hard to see any Valiant taking the title from Hodge.

The House of Heenan has an Inoki problem. He's been taking on the House one man at a time forcing The Destroyer to hide behind the title rankings system. There's nothing wrong with taking on (and defeating) Gene Kiniski, who was the rightful #1 contender at the end of May, but it doesn't do the fans justice when they see that Antonio Inoki has the tools to beat The Destroyer now more than ever. Paranoia setting in, Bobby Heenan hires Giant Baba as a team enforcer in an attempt to keep Inoki at bay.

Just started an NWA save, just finishing the first month with NWA EmPowerrr and NWA 73. I tried to book some similar stuff, but I had a couple of big injuries that changed a major match or two.

NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion - Bryan Danielson (won the title at NWA 73 from Nick Aldis; Murdoch suffered an injury during an episode of Powerrr that's put him out for six months; he's on loan from AEW, where he's on an exclusive deal)

NWA National Heavyweight Champion - EC3 (won the battle royal to win a shot at the National title then cashed in the shot at NWA 73 to make it Chris Adonis vs. James Storm vs. him)

NWA World Television Champion - Tyrus (held it since I started the save; I'm just having him dominate people on Powerrr)

NWA World Tag Team Champions - The Lucha Bros. (I figured they've held every other tag team title in the world outside of WWE...; Aron Stevens got injured at a CWFH show, so I vacated the titles then had the Lucha Bros. face La Rebelion Amarilla, The End, and The Von Erichs at NWA 73)

NWA World Women's Champion - Velvet Sky (I brought in Mercedes Martinez to add some star power to the women's title match at EmPowerrr, so she won in a triple threat against Kamille and Leyla Hirsch; Velvet won the battle royal for the Women's Invitational Cup and challenged Mercedes and Kamille at NWA 73)

NWA World Women's Tag Team Champions - The Iconic Duo (Jessie McKay and KC Cassidy; they won the mini-tournament that concluded at NWA EmPowerrr)

I'm bringing back the Crockett Cup (not that it's really gone that far away) for October.

Velvet Sky (as aforementioned) won the inaugural Women's Invitational Cup. I'm thinking of changing it to a tournament format in future years, but I'll keep the stipulation that the winner gets a shot at the world women's title.

I've also introduced the NWA Zero-Gravity Championship since I went on a bit of a spending spree and brought in a bunch of juniors/cruisers. I'm going to do another mini-tournament to crown the inaugural champion (who will either be Ace Austin, Jay Lethal, or Austin Aries).
