i can't wait to book level-up wrestling i hope i can get randy orton on my stream

Orton is in an exclusive written contract, so good luck!

I would like to see more white dudes in Japan, thanks. :)

Ask and you shall recieve! Jay White and Kenny Omega are still gods in Japan right now, but Devitt also never went to the WWE and is still a large draw. There are a few more surprises left :)

hey idk what pic pack you're using lol but if you like organics i maded you a captain sparklez pic

this is a great question. but i hope chris jericho has dead. that would really change things. i hope vince mcmahon leaves wrestling to sing judas

Fozzy are still there. In fact, Jericho takes many breaks from wrestling to make music. Fozzy would in turn become metal legends, and since Jericho was doing less work wrestling, his body is still in great shape at almost 50.

I am gonna address the troll real quick and this is the last time I address the troll on the matter.

It is MY universe. If you don't like it...don't play it. That simple. I won't be debating with someone who would rather pick apart my vision then play the game. But thank you for you're criticism it is well noted.

hey what happens to double j jeff jarrett in this universe, also does the boneyard match happen?

The Undertaker retired early in this universe after a storied career; Linda was concerned about his well being and risked the money making factor. He is still with the WWE, and his 'badass' gimmick returns when he becomes the new general manager of Smackdown in 2019.

The whole JJ and the 'ransom' thing in the WWF happens, and JJ still jumps ship to WCW. After TNA failed to kick off successfully in 2002. JJ goes to japan to join the Kage Corps and wins the G1 Climax in 2005, but losing at the January 4th main event for the IWGP Championship.

Chris Benoit Incident

It would be an injustice to completely disregard this ever happening, so I have made the difficult option of keeping it in the universe. However, unlike real-world, Linda McMahon does not erase his name from history and instead runs an internal inquest into the life and times of Christopher Michael Benoit.

She subsequently outlaws head shots with any hardcore item unless it is protected, and she preaches mental health awareness, and with the blessing of his only remaining son, launches the Chris Benoit Institute for mental health and drug addiction in Sanford, Connecticut.

<p><strong><em><span style="text-decoration:underline;">THE HARDCORE SCENE</span></em></strong></p><p> </p><p>

With WWF/E adopting a more PG image early on, the hardcore scene really thrives with many people going to watch that style of wrestling. ECW never goes bankrupt as a result, and Paul Heyman still books to this day. With storied champions like Rob van Dam, Raven, Sabu, Sandman, and a returning Ian Rotten, ECW did really well.</p><p> </p><p>

Ian Rotten would continue to book IWA-MS shows whilst competing for ECW. Meanwhile, John Zandig's renegade Combat Zone Wrestling really took off; Nick Mondo, Nick Gage, Lobo, and the Wifebeater would take the very defintion of extreme to the brink.</p><p> </p><p>

And finally you had Big Japan Pro Wrestling, the spiritual successor to FMA and a company that was equally as violent as it was puroresu. Ryuji ito, Jun Kasai, and Abdullah Kobayashi would carry the promotion throughout time.</p><p> </p><p>

The 2019 LuFisto scandal (which is happening right now) would derail and cost CZW a LOT of talent and fans, forcing their hand and they closed after the final Cage of Death was deconstructed.</p><p> </p><p>

ECW and BJW are still going strong, but an upstart company Gamechanger Wrestling nabbed some of the big names of both companies, indie starlets, and CZW alumni like Nick Gage, to create a one of a kind experience taking the world by storm.</p>

WCW Champions:

Eric Bischoff has really managed to milk this talent trading situation. For the first time in a long time, most of WCW's Champs are actual contracted WCW talent and not WWE. This has been the first time since the later 90s WCW had a surge like this, and they would utilise it well.

The main event scene is currently dominated by Pentagon, who turned on his brother in 2018 and is having a solo run which culminated in a title victory over Adam Page at Starrcade 2019.

Trying to replicate the success of the Roppongi Nights in WWE, Bishoff hired Isami Kodaka and Yuma Matsumoto from BJW in 2018. Even though the two are aged and somewhat battle scared thanks to the hardcore style, it has not stopped the veteran tag team defeating The Hardy Boyz at Bash On The Beach 2019 to become champions. However, they are being forced to their absolute limit as The Revival was traded to WCW by mcMahon herself in late 2018 to get a new head of steam.

Meanwhile, for the first time since 2000, WCW rebooted the Womens division in 2019 by having a year long tournament featuring 6 groups in a round robin. It culminated at Sarrcade of the same year as Chyna would face off against a very hot Su Young, putting her over. Young has held the championship since, but Dr Britt Baker D.M.D. arrived in WCW in January, and is waiting to see her patient...and title.

WCW World Heavyweight Champion: Pentagon

WCW Tag Team Championships: Matsumoto and Kodaka

WCW Womens Champion: Su Young

WCW Cruiserweight Champion: Jungle Boy

Jim Cornette would attempt to make an NWA-style movement but it never catches on.</p><p> </p><p> Side note; Jim Cornette gets absolutely shunned out by the community in this mod because **** that asshole and his views. Seriously.</p>

Update:

Been seriously ill recently (not Covid, but an equally as powerful bout with the man flu) so i have not been able to update.

But a few of you were really interested in Level Up Wrestling, so I sat brainstorming for a while what internet icons and streamers might fit the company, other then Tyler1. Since she is a massive fan of Wrestling, I went ahead and added Emma Blackerry as a personality and manager.

Commentating will be Tyler1 (who is an occasional wrestler), Trevor 'Quickshot Henry' (whose voice is iconic in pro League of Legends), and Goldenboy (who splits his time with AEW).

Big fan of Level Up Wrestling, can you add NerdCubed, thank you. :)

EDIT: Hey me again, can you add YouTube sensation CallMeKevin as well, thank you again. :)

The roster for Level Up will be looked at another time, I am currently debating the WWE roster.

Right now my biggest question is commentary. Not sure if I want Jim Ross and Tony Shciavonne to be the play by play guys, or Micheal Cole and Jim Ross...hmmm
