Worker Spotlight: Tyler1

When Ember Palmer came up with 1+W (Level Up Wrestling's abbreviation) she thought long and hard about who could potentially be a bridge between gaming and wrestling. Enter Tyler1, the charismatic Twitch Streamer and bodybuilder. With his intense attitude, charisma, and build, Palmer gave him a microphone and he has been a colour caster (important to not, Palmer wants her play by play team to be called 'Casters') ever since.

Palmer has also taught him the basic selling points and moves a wrestler needs, and Tyler1 wrestled his first match - a mixed tag team match with Ember against Rickey Shane Page and Shanna.

For now, a semi-regular draw for the company, his voice is often heard when the company streams it's events.

Worker Spotlight: Trish Stratus

Trish joins the WWF in 2000 and is immediately given the ole as manager to Test and Albert in TnA. She was a true prodigy of the sport and took to it very fast, winning her first women's championship by the end of the year, pinning Ivory in a triple threat that also included Molly Holly.

Over the years, Stratus accumulated reign after reign, and had a heavily publicised feud with Meiko Satamura in 2006 that lead to a Match of the Year contender, and arguably an even better rematch at the following WrestleMania, where Meiko would win her second Women's championship and 'retire' Trish.

Trish spent 2007 and 2008 at home in Canada, and was intent on never wrestling again until Linda McMahon and Lita asked for a one-off appearance to boost the ever popular Michelle McCool. What was heralded as the clash of two generations, Trish defeated McCool and in January 2009, she was the second woman to compete in a Royal Rumble, surprising everyone as the number 30 spot, eliminating Carlito and Dean Malenko in the process.

Whilst she would later be thrown over by the eventual winner, Randy Orton, she did sign another contract with the WWE, where she would win ANOTHER title Mickie James. Stratus would find her own stable; The Maple Leaf Conspiracy, comprised of the finest Canadian women wrestlers there is; Natalya Neidhardt and Angel Williams (Angelina Love). Natalya would leave the stable early on, and Williams left the company in June of 2010.

In November 2010, Stratus announced she was pregnant, and had to leave wrestling for a while, entrusting the company to her rival and best friend Lita (who would retire 2 months later) and Michelle McCool - her chosen successor in a very emotional moment.

Stratus would return 7 years later as a shock replacement in the Mae Young Classic, proving many she could still go, losing to Toni Storm in the Quarter Finals. But this was yet another catalyst into a short stint of wrestling. She would wrestle 4 matches in 2018; two against Satamura, one against McCool (who would settle down herself not too long after), and one against Charlotte, where Trish Stratus gave her the 'Key to WWE'.

Her final match came in 2018 at Summerslam, where she would challenge one of WWE's rising stars - Ronda Rousey. In her final speech as a wrestler after taping out to the patterned arm bar, Stratus declared it was over and she would leaving wrestling for good now - announcing a third, and presumably last pregnancy.

Worker Spotlight: Kazuchika Okada

Dubbed the worker of a lifetime, Okada came into pro wrestling in the late 2000s in the New Japan Dojo, and after his training would immediately go on excursion to NJPW's partner, WCW. Used mainly as a jobber throughout his tenure there, Okada did however shock the world by pinning Triple H cleanly in 2011.

In 2013, his excursion ended and he was released to New Japan. Dubbed 'The Rainmaker' Okada would be managed by head booker Gedo, and through his guidance would become the companies top heel, before Bullet Club really took off, and Gedo would turn on Okada in 2015.

Okada would be the top babyface in the world for the next few years, even shocking the world by appearing as entrant 25 in the 2018 Royal Rumble. When people thought he had signed a WWE contract, they lost the shit. But in reality, Okada was not pleased with Bullet Club's sore to the top and Okada being slowly pushed for the rise of guys like Omega and Devitt, and was allowed to explore his other options.

At Wrestle Kingdom in 2019, Okada dropped his last IWGP World Heavyweight Championship to Tanahashi, and asked for his release, citing creative disputes. It was granted and Okada would become the highest earning free agent on the planet.

(Okada is signed with a company but I am planning on making another alert later down the line to announce it - stay tuned)
