The SWF by the ZMAN

SWF to go a different direction in 06? With Richard Eisen being ill and his son Eric busy in college, Richard has hired a new writter to help run the shows. Not much is known about this person, but reports indicate that he is sending out contracts and re-writting a lot of scripts. This is good and bad. Good because it could freshen up the shows. Bad because they will be dumping a lot of work on him. The next PPV "Times of Trouble" is in two weeks, but Richard's illness caused him to drop the ball on hyping it.

June _ Week 1 _ Supreme TV _ Wisconsin Gardens _ Sold Out This episode of Supreme TV featured a double main event, announced by Richard Eisen at the start of the show. Mr. Eisen put together two fatal four-way matches as a step in determining the number one contender. The first one to be announced was Sam Keith vs. Christian Faith vs. Enforcer Roberts vs. Steve Frehley. (B+) The second was a real crowd pleaser, which had Jack Bruce, Enygma, Skull DeBones, and Remo. (A) In the first of two main events, Sam Keith and Enforcer Roberts formed an alliance early on to fight off Christian Faith and Steve Fehley. After Faith, Frehley, and Roberts all hit their finishers, Keith turned on Roberts and hit the reverse STO for the win. (A) With Sam Keith as a finalist, it was time to see who his opponent would be next week in the number one contedership match. Unlike the previous fourway, Jack Bruce, Enygma, Skull DeBones, and Remo didn't bother to form any alliances. Bruce and Enygma bounced off the ropes with aerial attacks, while Skull and Remo used their strength and brawling skill. Remo made the cover on Enygma after hitting his finisher, while Bruce covered Skull after hitting the New York Minute. In the end, the referee counted Jack Bruce first, making him the winner of the match. (A*) Supreme TV ended with Sam Keith coming down to attack Jack Bruce. (A) As a big joke between Mr. Eisen and Runaway Train, Eisen ordered Train to defend his title against Robbie Retro. Runaway Train pretended to be afraid of Retro, saying it's the biggest match in his career. (A) Retro took the match seriously, and fired away at Train in the beginning. Train overpowered him though, and dropped him with the Train Wreck within a couple minutes. (B+) Also in action, Calamari Kid defended his Shooting Star Title against thew rookie, Marc DuBois. Marc was able to avoid the Squid Buster, but Kid tricked him on the third try by rolling him up for the three instead. (B+) Marc was devestated that he lost to a schoolboy rollup and attacked Kid with a chair. Calamari Kid's mentor, Lobster Warrior, came down to take the chair from Marc. However, when he went to hit Marc with the chair, Marc slipped under and Lobster hit Calamari Kid instead. (C+) Later on that night, Calamari Kid and Lobster Warrior were seen arguing in the back. (B-) The Tag Tiles were also at stake with High Concept taking on the new team "Death Row." Elmo was able to pick up the win for his team when he hit Knuckles with the Shockwave From Next Year. (B) After a hard fight, the samoan team of Akima Brave and Kid Toma, came out to demolish High Concept. Former announcer, Duane Fry, was there directing the team into destroying the tag champions. After two, brutal frog splashes, Elmo and Groucho were squashed like bugs. The crowd roared with disapproval for the new trio. Peter Michaels said he would get some answers from Duane Fry next week. (C+) In the Supreme Pre-show, Freddie Datsun defeated Black Hat Bailey using a t-bone suplex. (A) The North American Champion, Joe Sexy, teamed up with his tag partner, Angry Gilmore, to defeat the Biggz Boyz. (B+) Overall, Wisconsin viewed a performance that topped SWF's previous appearances. (A)

Changes to the schedule. All the chaos going on in the SWF has effected the company in big ways. The next PPV is being pushed back a week in order to fix the card situation. Some say that it's such a big mess backstage that the top tag team is even having problems. Elmo Benson and Groucho Bling haven't been getting along well and their reign as champions may come to an end because of it.

June _ Week 2 _ Supreme TV _ Virginia Park Fields _ Sold Out This weeks main event was a singles match between Jack Bruce and Sam Keith to see who the number one contender would be for the World Title. Their battle went through two commercial breaks before we had a decision. In a memorable main event, Sam Keith picked up the win and earned his chance at the World Title. Remo's involvement cost Bruce in the end when Remo speared him into the ringsteps. With the Proton Lock applied, Jack Bruce tapped and it was all over. (A*) With the match over, Runaway Train came out to brawl with his future opponent, and Remo continued to battle with Jack Bruce. (A) The Tag Champions, High Concept, continued to show great team work this week when they defeated Flex and Pecs with the Shockwave From Next Year. (B) They stuck around after the match to give Samoan Wildboyz a message. They said if they wanted a match all they had to do was ask, and that it's on at Times of Trouble. (B) Angry Gilmore was also in action this week. He defeated Freddie Datsun with the Anger Management when his girlfriend, Jessie, was ordered to distract Datsun. Jessie didn't want to do it, but she reluctantly helped her husband get the win. (A) Afterwards, Angry Gilmore celebrated with his tag partner, Joe Sexy, and didn't pay any attention to Jessie. Gilmore's affection to Joe came off pretty bizarre to Jessie and the crowd. (A) Peter Michaels also got some answers, both verbally and physically. He asked Duane Fry why he had the Samoan Wildboyz attack High Concept. Fry told Peter that he's tired of not being allowed to announce, and tired of being pushed around when he tries to interview people. Fry wants to do more important things for the company. (C+) With that being said, Fry tells Peter hes gonna do something that hes been wanting to for a long time, and smacks Peter across the face. The Samoan Wildboyz then wage an attack on Peter, and each give him a frog splash. (C+) Their rampage continued on into their next match with Lobster Warrior and Calamari Kid, while Duane Fry took Peter's spot on commentary. The miscommunication betwen Warrior and Kid continued into this week and cost them the match after Warrior carried on a lengthy argument with the referee. (B) After the match, their friendship continued to sink when Calamari Kid slapped Lobster Warrior across the face, blaming him for losing. (C) Supreme TV kicked off with Robbie Retro waiting for his opponent, who turned out to be Remo. Remo was in no mood for Robbie's disco moves and squashed him within a couple minutes. (B) Remo wasn't done though, and turned his attention to referee Darren Smith - the ref who counted for Jack Bruce but not him. Remo got his revenge by laying Smith out with a brutal spear. (A) With the ring finally cleared, The Guru made his way out and couragously stepped into the ring with the monster. The Guru told Remo that if he let him be his manager, that he would make sure that he never get screwed again. After thinking about it, Remo accepted. (B-) In the pre-show, the new team of Samoan Machine and Rhino Umaga, "Samoan Destruction" lost their first match to The Amazing Bumfholes by disqualification. Reports said that the referee called off the match when the samoan duo refused to do a rope break. (C) Enforcer Roberts and Steve Frehley also put on a top-notch performance, with Frehley hitting the Frehley's Comet from the top for the win. (A*) (A)

Overused? Some workers backstage think The Samoan Wildboyz have been used too much on the shows. However, the headbooker has big plans for the samoans and wants to expand the Duane Fry stable.

On the night of Richard Eisen's final night of power, he announced that he would be taking some time off after the PPV. As one of his final decisions, he booked the main event of Sam Keith & Runaway Train vs. Remo & Jack Bruce. Because Bruce and Remo have shown a lot of heart, they get a chance to turn the main event at Times of Trouble into a fourway match if they win. (A*) Even with the four men being teamed up, the night would end in a chaotic brawl. A* While Bruce did his part, The Guru kept Remo under control for the match. By the end of the match, the duo had put down Train and Keith. The Guru then ordered his monster to turn, and Remo dropped Bruce with a firemans carry buster. He then covered Sam Keith for the victory, giving him and Bruce a spot in the main event. A* The Underwater Fighters tried to find a resolution to their problems they've had. Calamari Kid challenged his mentor, Lobster Warrior, to a "respectful" title match at Times of Trouble. (C+) With that match being booked, Lobster Warrior was set to go one-on-one with Rich Money. Warrior demonstrated his abilities in the ring to show Calamari Kid what he was up against, with some intense, technical moves. Rich fought back later on, eventually applying the Money Lock. Lobster Warrior was only an inch from the rope when Calamari Kid jumped in for the "save" by attacking Rich, causing Lobster to be disqualified. (A*) After the match, Lobster Warrior refused to shake hands with Calamari Kid, which made Kid smack Lobster down with the Shooting Star Title. Jumbo Shrimp came to make the save but was too late. (C+) In a match requested by Joe Sexy's tag partner's wife, Jessie, Freddie Datsun fought Enforcer Roberts for a title match at Times of Trouble. Datsun and Roberts displayed some solid technical wrestling, with Datsun finishing him off cleanly with a t-bone suplex. (B) When it was all over, Gilmore and Sexy, "Sexual Aggression" came out for the attack on Datsun while Jessie watched helplessly. (B) Afterwards, Gilmore scolded Jessie backstage for getting Datsun that match against Joe. (B+) While the some teams struggled to get along, The Samoan Wildboyz continued to run through the tag division. Their toughest challenge would be The Biggz Boyz. The Biggz brothers put up a good fight, but were demolished in the end. (B) Afterwards, Elmo Benson and Groucho Bling came down to get a piece of the Samoan powerhouse and dominated with punches and dropkicks. Duane Fry, however, brought out a new weapon: Jungle Jack. The wild jungle man made his first appearance, aiding The Samoans. (B-) After High Concept was beaten down, Duane Fry made the announcement that Jungle Jack has joined his group, now known as "The Cannibals." (C+) Darryl Devine was announced to be making his debut at Times of Trouble. (D) In the pre-show, The Squid Squad (Jumbo Shrimp & Calamari Kid) defeated Samoan Destruction Inc. (C+) The dream team of Christian Faith and Enygma get a clean win over The Dirty White Boys. (A) And Skull DeBones Skull Krushed both Steve Frehley and Texas Pete in a triple threat match for the victory. (A) (A)

Bowen, and the PPV card Barry "Runaway Train" Bowen is said to be open about dropping his belt to any of the three men involved in the main event. His 18 month title reign is expected to come to an end tonight. The booking team feels uncomfortable with the "double debut" match between Darryl Devine and Jungle Jack, taking place at a PPV. Darryl and Jack have worked a couple indy matches together, but the pressure is on.
Runaway Train went on a streak from the start, eliminating both Jack Bruce and Sam Keith with Train Wrecks. It was a different story once Remo stood up to him though. Remo put damage on the body of Train, dropping him with rib breakers and back breakers to weaken him. Train made a short-lived comeback as he nearly hit Remo with the Train Wreck, but Remo countered with a spear. Remo then dropped him with an F5 for the victory, becoming the new champion. Angry Gilmore, Christian Faith, Enforcer Roberts, Enygma, Flex, Jumbo Shrimp, Marc DuBois, Rich Money, Lobster Warrior, Steve Frehley all fought for a contract to face any champion of their choice. Christian came into the match as the favorite to win it, eliminating half the guys involved. Once the 10 man was narrowed down to two, it was Steve Frehley versus Christian Faith. In a upset, Faith eliminated himself when he dove at Frehley for a lariat but missed and fell through the ropes. Both Frehley and Faith were shocked. In one of the best tag matches we've seen in a while, The Samoan Wildboyz became the first samoans to ever win the tag titles. Both team swent back and forth with aerial moves all over the ring. By the end Elmo was busted open from a flying headbutt by Akima. The final move was made by Akima as well, when he soared across the ring and hit the frog splash on Groucho for the win. Earlier in the night, Jumbo Shrimp swore that he would call the match down the middle. That would turn out to be a lie, when Jumbo turned on Lobster at the very end when Lobster had the Lobster Trap applied on Calamari Kid. Kid tapped but Jumbo knocked Lobster off instead. This led to the Squid Buster from Kid followed by a speedy 3 count. Afterwards, Calamari Kid and Jumbo Shrimp teamed up on Lobster Warrior on an attack. Joe Sexy, with his partners Angry Gilmore and Jessie at ringside, fought with underhand tactics against Datsun. Jessie decided she had seen enough and evened things out when she blasted Sexy with a punch across the face. This distracted both Gilmore and Sexy, which enabled Datsun to catch Sexy with the t-bone for the win. Freddie Datsun is the new North American Champion, making this his first title reign in the SWF. Richard Eisen made an important announcement about his status with the SWF. He announced that he's in no condition to run SWF at this time, and is giving up his role to someone new and as smart as he is. His choice was none other than The Guru. The opening match featuring two debuting stars, Darryl Devine and Jungle Jack, went back and forth. Darryl caught Jack with several consecutive heel kicks and drop kicks that Jack shook off. After several comebacks, Jack finished off Darryl with a Jack-Hammer to pick up his first win. In the pre-show, Samoan Destruction Inc. squashed the team of Squeeky McClean and Robbie Retro.(C+) The newcomer tag teams were also in action. Deathrow defeated the two teams of The Amazing Bumfholes and The Dirty White Boys. PPV notes Jungle Jack and Darryl Devine's performance last night impressed a lot of workers backstage. These two are said to have great chemistry in the ring together. Meanwhile, some felt let-down about The Guru taking over as the authority figure of SWF. Bret Biggz has developed a bad habit of being late. Last week he recieved a warning for it. At the PPV he was suspended for a month right there on the spot for being late a second time.

Supreme Assault (pre-show) Lobster Warrior pulled of a surprising victory over Blackhat Bailey, making him tap to the Lobster Trap. The odd duo of Jack Bruce and Eric Eisen took on two monsters, Runaway Train and Skull DeBones. Eric hit his Shooting Star Press on Skull, and Jack followed up with the New York Minute for the win. Jungle Jack began a winning streak as he defeated Darryl Devine and Andre Jones in a triple threat match, with a little help from Duane Fry on the outside. Supreme TV It was finally show time. We start out with Comissioner Guru coming out to put himself and the champion, Remo, over. He sets a goal to make this summer a memorable one, and it starts with Remo defending his title against Robbie Retro in the main event. (B) Samoan Wildboyz (C) vs. The Amazing Bumfholes Akima Brave and Kid Toma were out next, with their manager Duane Fry, to take on Randy and Zemmy Bumfhole. It was pretty much a squash, with both samoans throwing around the cruiserweights. Akima ended it with a frogsplash onto both Bumfholes when they stacked them on top of eachother. (B-) After the match, Fry took the mic and basically called out any tag team in the back to take on The Samoan Wildboyz. (C+) They waited and waited, until finally The Lords of War came out to their smokey entrance to surprise us all. The Lords accepted Fry's challenge. The Samoans looked ready to fight, but Fry didn't seem confident enough to unleash his team just yet. (B-) Calamari Kid and Jumbo Shrimp came out next, gloating over how they kicked Lobster Warrior out of the Union. They announced that they have found a new member to replace him, and brought out Marc DuBois as their new third member. (C+) Bart Biggz vs. Marc DuBois With his partner under suspension, Bart had to go solo tonight against Marc Dubois and his new friends. Bart hit a couple offensive moves in the beginning, hitting Marc with a tornado DDT. It wouldn't take long, however, for Calamari Kid to get involved when he shoved Bart off the top rope. DuBois then hit the Marc of Excellence and made the cover.(B) Enygma & Christian Faith vs. The Hired Guns The dream team of Enygma and Faith were successful in their match against Enforcer Roberts and Texas Pete. Texas Pete opened up with some punches and clotheslines on Enygma, until Enygma got the tag on Christian who wiped both Guns. Faith got the win when he hit Roberts with the Leap of Faith. (A) Angry Gilmores wife, Jessie, was backstage yelling at him. She told him that shes tired of working with him because he has no integrity, and bosses her around. Gilmore is shocked as he she walks out on him. (A) Freddie Datsun (C) vs. Angry Gilmore Datsun stayed in control most of the match, with Gilmore selling his emotion injuries from the previous segment. Gilmore almost snuck in the Anger Management but lost focus, which allowed Datsun to hit the Patriot Press for the win. (A) After the match, Gilmore started to argue with Datsun over turning his wife on him. Sam Keith then ran out and hit a spear on both men. He held up the North American title to signify that hes next in line. (B) Remo (C) vs. Robbie Retro The underdog, Robbie Retro, had a hot crowd behind him for this one. Remo obliterated Robbie in this match, with Robbie only getting in a few punches and a eye gouge out of desperation. Remo literally knocked Retro from post to post, lifting him up into a firemans carry and flinging him against the ring posts. Remos manager, The Guru, snuck the title belt into the ring for Remo to use. Steve Frehley came out as Remo refused to make the pinfall and instead wanted to kill Retro. Frehley was able to take the referee and Remo's attention off the match for a minute, as Retro recovered and grabbed the title belt that was intended for Remo's use. Retro nailed Remo with the belt, knocking him out of the ring. Retro then pulled the ref's attention just enough for Frehley to DDT Remo on the outside. The result was a countout, giving Robbie Retro possibly his first victory ever in SWF. (B+) After the match, Frehley and The Guru argued in the ring. Guru threatened Frehley with his power as commissioner, and Frehley responded with a DDT to the Guru. New PPV Schedule The amount of PPVs have been cut in half for the remainer of the year. This experiment will see how well PPVs come off if theres more hype in between months, instead of just having 3 weeks to work with. In other news, a new promotion called Gulf Coast Wrestling opened its doors today. They are a traditional promotion based in northern Mexico.

Supreme Assault (Preshow) Jungle Jack defeated Robbie Retro with the Jack-Hammer. The crowd was really into this match. Retro sold Jack's stiff kicks well throughout the match. (B) Calamari Kid defeated Elmo Benson with the Squid Buster. It wasn't as exciting as the first match but still a decent match. (B-) Enforcer Roberts made Groucho Bling tap with a fujiwara armbar. This match really lifted the crowds spirit in time for the show. (B+) Supreme TV Comissioner Guru took the center of the ring at the start of the show. He gave an uneventful speech on how Frehley disrespected him last week. There were a few "boring" chants up until the point when he announced tonights main event. Steve Frehley will take on Remo and Rich Money in a handicap match. (B+) The Lords of War vs. The Amazing Bumfholes This match was kept short, with The Bumfholes hardly getting any moves in. Pain stumbled around a lot, nearly breaking Randy's neck on a backdrop. Agony came in, hits a spinebuster on Zimmy, and sets Randy up for the Doomsday Device. Pain finishes off the move with a weak looking clothesline to end the match. (B-) After the match, The Samoan Wildboyz along with Duane Fry, came out and beat down the Lords of War with singapore canes. (B-) Next up were Calamari Kid and the newest member of the Unwater Union, Marc Dubois. Calamari Kid said that it felt good to be out of Lobster Warriors shadow, and talked some more trash. Marc DuBois then told Lobster Warrior to show up next week with a tag partner to take on him and Calamari Kid. (B-) Marc DuBois vs. Darryl Devine This was a balanced match up to the point when Calamari Kid tripped Devine. That allowed Marc to drop Devine with a DDT. He finished Devine off by turning him over into the Model Solution for the submission. (B-) After the match, Marc kept the Model Solution locked in as Calamari Kid kicked and dropped elbows to the back of Darryl's head. (C+) Meanwhile, Datsun and Gilmore bumped into eachother in the back for a heated argument. Gilmore decided hes had enough of Datsun trying to break up the relationship between him and Jessie, and challenged him to a no-rules fight in the ring. (B+) Angry Gilmore vs. Freddie Datsun Hardcore rules Jessie watched, as the two men fought all over the arena in their street clothes, busting eachother open with whatever weapons they could find. Once they made it back to the ring, Sam Keith ran out from the crowd and speared both of them. With both men down and out, the referee declared it a draw. (A) After the match, Sam Keith put Jessie over his shoulder and hauled her to the back. A camera followed as Keith shoved her in the trunk of his car. Gilmore and Datsun watched as Keith drove away with the girl they were fighting eachother for. (A) Christian Faith & Enygma vs. Death Row This match went over well with the crowd, as Death Row tried everything to put away the dream team of Enygma and Faith. There were a lot of close falls where Death Row almost walked away with an upset win, but Faith and Enygma were just too strong. Christian wins it for his team with the Leap of Faith. (B+) After the match, Andre Jones made his return to television to attack Christian and Enygma with a chain wrapped around his fist. Death Row recovered from their loss and helped Andre destroy Faith and Enygma. The selling shown by Faith and Enygma was really amazing. (B-) Steve Frehley cut a promo on his attack last week on Remo. He said he did it to light the fire by humiliating Remo, making him lose to Robbie Retro. This led to Frehley using his #1 contendership contract on World Heavyweight Champion Remo. (A) The Almighty Dollar vs. Steve Frehley Frehley fought for his life, withstanding several Money Locks from Rich and rough clotheslines from Remo. With the referee knocked down after a missed shoulder tackle from Remo, Frehley was able to knock both men over the head with the title belt. He then covered Rich Money for the victory. The selling wasn't their best, but still a great main event match. Kid Toma in trouble with officials? It looks like Toma is the next to recieve a warning for his tardiness. Last time it was Bret Biggz who was suspended on his second late arrival. The bookers are looking forward to the push of The Samoan Wildboyz, hopefully to take the main event tag team spot that The Lords of War have held for several years. Speaking of the samoans, we've heard reports that they parted ways with Duane Fry. Apparently they weren't happy with "The Cannibals" group that Fry put together. When they were asked about leaving the group, they said they are leaving it to be a part of something bigger that will come at this weeks Supreme TV. Duane Fry is still ambitous about being a manager in SWF. He told us that he would continue to manage Jungle Jack and recruit more outside talent.
