Workers leaving, doing nothing.

I'm playing APW, a small fed with monthly shows in Australia. Every 4-6 weeks someone tells me they're leaving, and they are gone to do nothing. It's almost always someone with high popularity. Everyone who has left have been in what I estimate is top 20% popularity at the time.

 

This seems awfully weird because they leave and do nothing. They aren't signed to other companies in a month, three, six or even after a year. And I just hire them back after the year off.
