Pillaging foreign companies mechanics

Hello, this is my first thread in the forum although I've been playing this game for some years now.

 

I am currently running a Local to Global with a Mexican Company. I'm currently in early Medium size.

 

In my game, as I assume in most games, CAW is not doing well, so I pillaged it. Given my great popularity in Canada now and the new great talent acquired, I thought I could make a new brand that would run shows in Canada and utilise the popular Canadian talent I brought onboard.

 

The issue I have is that my Canadian talent are deemed unpopular because I assume their evaluation is performed based on Mexican popularity (where my company is based) rather than Canada, although my shows for this specific brand are solely in Canada...

 

So when I run shows, I get the penalty that fans were unhappy that I booked workers with whom they have no investment in, when in fact the workers actually have popularity over 70 in Canada. And although they are pulling 80s in performance, the match and show performances are then significantly lowered. Also, since they are considered unimportant, i get popups that I'm using them too much, despite the fact that the same guys were Major Stars with CAW a week earlier.

 

Not sure if this can be addressed in future patches or if it would mess up the game mechanics whatsoever...

 

I have the save file and can share if needed.

 

I guess in the meantime I'll pillage and use the Canada popularity to hold monthly shows there and extend my TV deals...
