rpombeiro
Hi everyone. I dont understand how Subscription channels work. On my save i have my own subscription channel, currently set to Tiny on all regions. It also says "Based on these settings you would be making a loss of $512 per month on subscriptions at present" I understand that its pretty much the more popularity i have the more money it will generate, and it my coverage on each area should follow my popularity there otherwise i will loose money. My question is, if i have a show showing on my channel, what is the meaning of having 5k subscribers vs having 30k subscribers? I had 2 different shows being shown (Playing with TNA). Slammiversary had 30k subscribers and Hard Justice had only 5k(because it was also being shown on a comercial cable channel). For me it seems like this subscribers number is just a "viewers" number and it has no influence finnancially on my subscription income, altough in real like there is a big difference between having 5k subs or having 30k subs. Doesnt matter how many views i have, it all comes down to this popularity thing instead of the real subscription number. Also in the game manual it says: "Subscription Broadcasters: Subscription broadcaster make their money trough their subscription fees, which is reflected in a dollar-per-viewer revenue..." At first this kinda sounded like i would get some money per view on my shows being shown in my channel, but its not the case (after testing) Anyone knows how it works? Maybe Adam could explain a bit more how this works
