He's spent the last two and a half hours fighting with his little brother about where to go with the "Family Business". It goes like this. Eric wants to go in a bold new direction. In his eyes, The Supreme Wrestling Federation as been spinning it's wheels for the past four years with the only splash being made was the marquee pick-up of now SWF World Champion Rocky Golden. Jerry see's the value in what Eric is saying, but is countering that with some talent having retired from the ring, it's left their business with a bit of a hole. Jerry wants very much to go in a new direction, but he also wants to bring back some of the names that made The Land of Supreme what it is today. Both of them are right. The Supreme Wrestling Federation has been treading water since United States Pro Wrestling went from Fam-Friendly Nostalgia to full on Sports Entertainment Juggernaut. And with Richard Eisen "stepping down", nows the time for the boys to take this ship into new waters. Eric has his vision. He won't stop until his vision is met. Jerry knows what it's going to take to bring that vision to an audience. Star Power Right now, that's what USPW have over SWF. They have the stars that people want to see. The SWF have all the talent in the world, but in order to right the ship as it were, it's going to take a couple familiar faces. (Intercom) "Excuse me, Mr. Eisen..." "Yes Ingrid..." (Intercom) "I'm sorry to interrupt but your two-thirty is here." "Both of them?" (Intercom) "Yes sir..." "Send them in..." Eric perks up in his chair. He and Jerry stare at each other for the briefest of moments. "You want a bold new direction. I understand that little brother, really I do. But... In order for people to see that bold new direction they need to want to watch. And when you need that kind of help, it's always best to go with what brought you to the dance. But it's the only C-Verse Company that I get any sort of creative juices for, and while I wait for the next iteration of the T-Verse, I thought I'd give this another go. I'm hoping that I'm a better writer now than I was way back when I tried this the first time round (I'd post a link, but this was way back when we all used PhotoBucket to post our dynasties and it's a mess). I want to thank everyone who posts on these boards for every contribution that you guys all make to take this game to a whole other level, and provide us all with the inspiration to start one of these things. While The Eisen boys aren't exactly "new" to the company, with Richard stepping aside I felt it was time for The Land of Supreme to go in a moderately different direction. I've booked just past When Hell Freezes Over so far, and I'm happy with the result. His climb of the ranks has been a steady one and it's looks like he wants to use this match against Gilmore as a catapult to the main event. But Angry Gilmore is no steeping stone. Hernandez starts fast trying to decipher if Gilmore has lost a step to father time. He hasn't. Gilmore puts a stop real quick using his technical prowess the keep Hernandez grounded. Hernandez doesn't have an answer for Gilmore until Kristen Pearce makes her presence known by distracting Gilmore long enough for Hernandez to take advantage. Hernandez's cocky side immediately comes out goading the veteran after every strike Mainstream lands. His arrogance gets the better of him as Gilmore fires back. Mainstream is prone, and Gilmore is on top looking for the Sky High Elbow Drop. As Gilmore makes his climb, Pearce is back up on the apron. The referee is distracted once again as we start to here a low rumble from the crowd. - THE CRIPPLER - The Crippler blindsides Gilmore knocking him off the top rope, he comes crashing down to the canvas. The power and aggression of both Scott and Laramee break down HFH over the next couple of minutes. HFH uses his quickness to out-maneuver Scott. He gets the tag to Ekuma who who rumbles in like a charging bull. Laramee is in only to run right into Ekuma who hit's his Hawaiian Crush signature move. Laramee is flattened. Ekuma makes the tag to HFH is scales the top rope. He soars though the air nailing Laramee with The Pacific Crush. On the pin. 1...2...3... HAWAIIAN CRUSH def. Valiant goes at Remo and they trade blows. Rogue slinks his way out of the ring to the floor allowing his two foes to fight it out. Remo does what Remo does, and takes over on Valiant pretty quickly. He starts with a plethora of suplexes dropping Valiant over and over again on the back of his neck, and head. Rogue is in blasting Remo to the back with a clubbing blow. Remo doesn't even register the hit, grabbing Rogue, and sending him flying with an overheard belly to belly sending Rogue back to the floor. Valiant is back up, and fighting with Remo once again. Those two bulls spill out to the floor and are brawling around ringside. Rogue jumps on Remo who swats him away like a fly. The three men separate long enough to the former partners turned blood rivals Rogue and Valiant to lock eyes. They both attack Remo 2-on-1 to the shock of the fans. For the first time in a long time, Rogue & Valiant are working together to face their common enemy. And for the first time in a long time, Remo is vulnerable. The former partners look to hit their former tag team finish on Remo, but Remo powers past them both. Rogue scatters again leaving Valiant to suffer. Remo bulldozes over Valiant. Then he picks him up, and wrecks Valiant with a Lumbar Puncture! Remo on the pin, Rogue trying to scurry back in. 1...2... Valiant gets the shoulder up! Rogue slinks back out to the floor again. Valiant and Remo get back to brawling once more although Valiant has slowed down from the Lumbar Puncture. Valiant gets the quick up on Remo smashing through him with a huge Lariat. Valiant looks to set up the V-Split on Remo! Remo breaks free from Valiant and is off the ropes. Valiant turns in The Destroyer!!! Rogue immediately slides back in, and dumps Remo to the floor. The smug grin is gone. I'm also really liking the layout I've gone with this time around. As for the renders, I've used a number of different creators submissions. I just cut them out, and added a stroke in photoshop. Many questions asked about the returns of both Jack Bruce, Christian Faith, and of all people, Peter Michaels to the company. Jerry was quick to point out however that Peter Michaels was brought back specifically in an on-screen role. He did however finish that statement with "for the time being." It looks as though Jerry may be more forgiving than his father when it comes to Peter Michaels' past with the company. The rest of the conference focused on a two-part announcement that Jerry seemed very excited about. The first part was the announcement of The Supreme Wrestling Federation's brand new streaming service, The SWF Network. It would appear that a subscription to the streaming service will include all future SWF Pay-Per-View events as well as all past Pay-Per-View events including every Supreme Challenge event from the very beginning. It will also include a back catalog of past Supreme TV broadcasts as well as some brand new "original" programming that is yet to be announced minus one brand new show which was part-two of the announcement. Jerry announced a brand new one-hour wrestling show that can only be found on The SWF Network. Cost off the network right now is set at $14.99 for HD/4K and $9.99 for SD. We'll have more information on upcoming programming from the network as we get it. SUPREME TV PREVIEW ROCKY GOLDEN VS RANDY UNLEASHED The SWF World Heavyweight Champion is in action this week five days out from his title defence against Rogue. While Rocky may be seeing this as a warm up for his title defence, Randy Unleashed is looking to use this opportunity to make a splash. Stoked that I'm able to bring the characters to life. I know you're a TVerse guy (much like myself to be perfectly honest) so being able to open of the CVerse gives me a sense of accomplishment.
