thilonash76
EPW May the 4th be with you Note: Entire event is star wars themed. May the 4th. I love stupid puns and word plays. So does EPW Attendance: 57 Angle: Avatar comes out and leads the crowed in a 10 bell salute for Harry Lee: 28 Quick Zee defeats Banky Bremner 8:30 11 Jesse Tasman defeats XS 7:34 pin: 20 Angle: Tasman celebrates by crowed surfing: 13 Light Saber Match: (light tubes painted green and red like light sabers from star wars) Vortex defeats Wrecker 13:32 26 The Fixer defeats Maniac Monster 13:36 defends world title. Monster broke his jaw with a botched bike Kick! 21 angle: Matt Stoppard has an elaborate entrance: 26 Matt Stoppard defeats Ice Ice Davey 13:47 pin 22. Show Rating: 23 Notes: The Fixer hit is big boot finisher and legitimately broke Maniac Monsters jaw. He is expected to be fine by the next show, but this insane kick is sure to be replayed over and over again on highlight videos. Matt Stoppard was booed unmercifully by the crowed. He was seen as a non hardcore outside that didnt belong. The chances of him coming back anytime soon is slim to none.

HiPlus
I missed the predictions sadly, and would have got it wrong. Surprised you didn't have Stoppard take a pin to put over your own guy. Can't wait for the 5th Element show! The Fixer defends the World title against Vortex - It is close, I would love to see Vortex act as champion. The guy has been plagued by injury and deserves a chance. Ice Ice davey vs Bloodsport - Bloodsport is probably better, and probably goes over but Ice Ice Davey has been here since Day 1. Wrecker vs Debuting Asylum - I always forget how young Asylum is I think it is because I confuse him with Menace to Sobriety at times. Anyway I hate Wrecker. Even if he is your personal favourite. Jesse Tasman vs Maniac Monster - Maniac Monster probably wins here but Tasman has been producing matches.
thilonash76
Stoppard would have been furious taking a loss to anyone on my roster. Thats why I didnt have him fight the champ. He basically demanded a win so I just took that as "well atleast it will be a great match". It ended up being a complete failure. Crowed hated him. Match wasnt anything special. And I wasted money on him. Oh well haha.

thilonash76
World Wrestling News EPW Have realeased the name of their next event, Lucky Number 7. The event will be the 7th in company history. It will also be the first event to charge for tickets. We will see how much of an impact this has on attendance but will sure be able to help finances as EPW has lost money every month so far. EPW have also announced that Tournament of Terror will have a sequel, and will be a yearly event held every January. The winner will get a trophy as established last year, but they will also get a World Title shot at a time of their choosing. Triple threat world title match. The Fixer vs Vortex vs Wrecker Barbed Wire: Ice Ice Davey vs Asylum Quick Zee vs XS Debut of Reggie Tate vs Bloodsport Segment: Lucas and Tasman face off in a surfing challenge. The overall popularity of wrestling seems to be growing as CILL and SAISHO have both risen to small and OLLIE have risen to medium sized. Blitz Simpson, part of the tag team The Barracudas, dies at 33 in a freak gardening accident. Deep Impact Wrestling have honored him by inducting both Simpson and his long term tag team partner Chopper Rourke into the DIW Hall of Fame. HiPlus
Wow so lots to talk about. Firstly even if it would have made Stoppard unhappy if he was there for one night should have fed him to the roster. Have him lose multiple matches. Secondly the passing of Blitz Simpson is crazy. The bloke is one of the most talented guys at DIW and add to the fact that Vaughan another member of the Barracudas was forced into retirement due to injury. Now Blitz passes away. Just a sad time in DIW. Hopefully Rourke stays safe and isnt cursed like his tag-team partner and stable mate. Triple threat world title match. The Fixer vs Vortex vs Wrecker - Vortex and Wrecker c9ntinue their fued and allow Fixer continue his Championship reign. Barbed Wire: Ice Ice Davey vs Asylum - Ice Ice Davey has been getting a lot of oppurtunities. Quick Zee vs XS - Interesting to see two guys who would nornally eat pins get a match against each other i like Quick Zee more. Debut of Reggie Tate vs Bloodsport - If Tate is here permenantly the whole roster should be on notice. Segment: Lucas and Tasman face off in a surfing challenge. Lucas is money. Yah, stuff has been crazy. Im glad I decided to throw in some other world news here and there that doesnt really involve EPW. Theres actually quite a bit of interesting other world stuff going on. When it comes to Stoppard, I wanna avoid "cheating" the game. My logic is that nobody would sign and agree to go out and lose 4 matches in a row then be all pissed off about it. Also when I get a little bigger, I dont know who I wanna bring in to build up a tag division so I dont want to burn any bridges. I cant bring myself to do it but eventually I will have to cut some guys. XS, Bloodsport, and Bremnar have turned in some awful matches and I just dont see them ever doing anything productive. However I still need some guys to eat alot of losses so who knows. Finally, I wont spoil who, but a few events in the future, I did have someone score a 0 match. I was so disappointed. Almost raged and fired both guys on the spot lol.

Banky may not be the best suited to Hardcore promotion but his selling and basics are monster so definitely keep him around. I can understand XS being offloaded but he needs his partner Sexxxxy JB and Bloodsport will develop with DIW as well.

thilonash76
EPW Hardcore Heatwave Crowed: 56 people Wrecker defeats XS in 7:27 21 Angle: Wrecker grabs mic and challenged Vortex to one final match at next event 33 Maniac Monster defeats Asylum 11:31 21 Angle: Surfer Dude Lucas and Jesse Tasman face off in another surfer challenge. They flex for the audience. Try to out do eachother with obscure surfer trivia, etc. Surfer Dude Lucas asks the crowed to cheer for Tasman if they think hes the better surfer. Crowed goes nuts. He then asks the crowed to cheer if they think hes the best surfer. Dead silence until one voice just yells out "Yooooooou Suck!" which gets a huge laugh from the crowed. He hypes up the fans by saying he almost forgot, the main event of wrestlefest. He announces that APWs Liberteen is by far the most popular stable in Australia. OOF! you are right haha. This is my first time ever playing as anyone in Australia so i am only vaguely familiar. I need to take better notes for when I write this stuff. But yah, I was stoked that I could get these 2 guys to agree to sign with me. They were by far my most expensive guys but it wasnt anything absurd. I think it was like 800 for one and 1400 for the other.
thilonash76
I am gonna hold everyone in anticipation for awhile. I am taking a short vacation for my birthday. Will be back Saturday night. I may post an update then but most likely wont be until Sunday night. Just a heads up that I didnt disappear and abandon this diary. This has def made the game way more fun. Taking so much longer but before I was just throwing random matches together and just clicking through with no rhyme or reason to 90 percent of it. I know my booking is far from perfect but I try to have some logic or reasoning behind matches. Also try to keep it fresh and not have 2 wrestlers fight eachother over and over and over again for no reason. So yah, whenever I return here, I will post the results of Wrestlefest which by far has been my biggest and best show yet. See yall in a few days! Fans have said that this event actually rivaled some of the bigger promotions with million dollar budgets. The main event was something special and will be remembered for years to come. Some fans were even heard asking when tickets will go on sale for next years Wrestlefest. Avatar took a giant risk and everything looks to have paid off.
