Lord Byron
Good episode. Waiting for more. One person who would be a good signing for AWA (if you can afford him) is Kurt Angle, who just left ECW (he left over the crucifixion incident, and didn't take calls from wrestling promotions for months because of it)... Lord Byron
@LORDBYRON - You make me pause and think on your good recommendation.. hmmmm Kurt Angle (he left ECW over the infamous crucifixion incident with The Sandman and Raven (1), because he feared it would ruin his then-All-American image) would be a better fit for the AWA than the WWF at this time (and he'd just be buried in WCW, unless he became buddies with Hall, Nash, and/or Hogan), considering that the WWF was in a transition to what would become the Attitude Era (not that that was bad--it was the WWF's best period, IMO), and I don't see that changing here... (1) And, before people compare this to the Undertaker "crucifying" opponents on a symbol during his Ministry of Darkness phase (and Angle was in the WWF at this time), the Undertaker (in kayfabe) did that to humiliate and scare his opponents who, unlike the Sandman, were conscious (plus, they didn't have the cross of thorns on their head that the Sandman did--that's what offended people, IMO)... Lord Byron
@tobin834, shouldn't it be WCW ahead in the ratings at this time, just as in RL? Just curious... On a side note, excellent story so far...
brianc2008
Read through the beginning and I'm liking what I'm seeing.
tobin834
@Lord Byron - You would think. My only guess is maybe the WWF utilized all the guys I tried to sign and they signed instead, jk. I see your point, not sure why the game is this way. The real life timeline here Nitro was beating Raw usually like 3.5 to 2.5 or fluctuating numbers. Also, appreciate your compliments on the story- means everything truly. People enjoying these makes me enjoy making them more. Appreciate you following around and your comments. @brianc2008 - Thank you! Hope to have you along for the ride! Appreciate you taking the time out to comment.

tobin834
@LORDBYRON - a lot on the line for the company in the first PPV show. Interesting for me to write this story because I am genuinely not sure what will happen.

horseman4lyfe
Great Show. Never expected JYD & Tully to have been the 2 who were the attackers. Will continue to watch
tobin834
@lordbyron - Thank you, will do a better job proofreading next time (doh!) Also, I did look into the Angle suggestion but realized he isn't in the game. Appreciate your comments and reading, you've been a motivator at times with this. Appreciate it. @horseman4lyfe - Started off slow on this diary I admit, but (I think) I have a plan. (I think) haha. Thank you.
