Stardom - Five years later

So I've played roughly 5 years in this Stardom save already, but I thought I'd start a little dynasty here to keep my motivation high and let people follow how my company is doing. I've tried to keep my play fairly realistic, and I've tried not to steal the biggest stars from my competitiors so they can have success to. So workers like ASUKA., Maki Itoh, Mina Shirakawa, Arisa Nakajima, Kaho Kobayashi, Tsukushi, Shoko Nakajima and Yuki Aino have not been wrestling at Stardom. I've been trying to use mostly homegrown workers mixed with international talent through the years. Now when my company has grown, I've also been able to steal some talent from WWE and AEW, but im letting the Joshi companies keep their stars.

My plan is to do a run down of my company with roster, schedule, championship history and stuff like that before the actual diary starts.

Notes: STARS is the second longest running faction in Stardom right now, Mayu has been the leader since the game started and they've had a lot of success. Mayu has held the red belt twice during these five years for a combined reign of two years. They also have some tag and trios titles on their resumé. There has been a lot of changes in STARS recently where Tam Nakano was let go because of her decline. Also Saya Kamitani who was Nakanos tag partner in STARS handed in her notice earlier this year. They had two long reigns as tag champions while Kamitani also saw a stint as Wonder of Stardom champion. After Io Shirai lost her battle with Momo Watanabe for control over Queen's Quest and World of Stardom belt, she had a couple of years with her own faction Team Shirai, however, after she lost a disband match she joined up with Mayu Iwatani again to reform Thunder Rock.

Notes: The longest active faction in Stardom, Momo Watanabe had a good 2022 where she held the World of Stardom title for a year and succesfully beat Io Shirai to remain in control over Queen's Quest. AZM has been Momo's right hand woman for most of the time, except when she had a year in Oedo Tai after Kagetsu's return to Stardom. Their success has dwindled a bit the last couple of years, but with Momo at the helm and their new recruit Jungle Kyona, things are looking good for Queen's Quest.

Notes: Carribbean Dream is the newest faction in Stardom and was formed this year, 2025. Kairi Hojo won the 5 Star GP in 2024 and captured the World of Stardom title from Mayi Iwatani in November, after that she decided to start her own faction when Oedo Tai disbanded. This team is new, but she managed to pick up her former tag partner from WWE Kana. But with the reigning queen of Stardom as leader, Carribbean Dream is full of momentum right now.

Notes: Fortune Dream was formed by Maya Yukihi back in 2021 when she signed a handshake deal from Ice Ribbon. She splits her time between Stardom and Ice Ribbon but has since arriving established herself as the number 1 heel in the company. Her run culminated with a 5 Star GP win in 2023 and a lenghty run with the World of Stardom belt in 2023/24. Her sidekick Utami Hayashishita has been with her since the start in 2021 and with new draftees Alexis Kaufman and Ashley Vox, this might be the faction with most star power right now.

Tokyo Cyber Squad has been quite unsuccesful lately in capturing the big titles, but Konami held the World of Stardom title back in 2021. Now, with reigning tag champions Magdalena Torres and Vipress, Tokyo Cyber Squad is looking to rise to the top. Former World of Stardom champion Toni Storm has also returned to Stardom and is looking to build herself up as a serious contender once again.</div>

She's pretty much in or around the main event scene the last 2-3 years. She's still young so there's time for her. She's finished high in several tournaments as well. Last year her pop was 78 or something which where one of the highest in the company, but has since fell to 68 since she's lost a bit this year. But that can change quickly.

Yes I've tried to not flood my roster with new signings. Usually I have a foreigner for one of two year then let them go to change things up a bit. Torres, Vox, Kaufman, Rose and McKenzie is on exclusive written contracts but the rest on handshake deals.

I let Starlight Kid go since her momentum was in the toilet to se if she could build herself up somewhere else, and it looks like it might have worked. Planning on bringing her back soon. Saya Kamitani I lost by stupidity, forgot to sign her exclusively so she quit Stardom and signed somewhere else, but I will bring her back eventually to. Other than that, the only original members I've let go is either to old or not good enough.
