Riddick Jordan has had a good run, but Kalu Owusu definitely deserves to have a league title under his belt considering his run. Looking over my predictions for this league, it's a little funny in comparison to the actual results: Big Cats and Unstoppabreakable the wrong way around. Hearts & Heores and Findlay & Newton are the wrong way round Antipode Rush and Double Dutch are the wrong way round Magic Flash and Konoe & Mimic are the wrong way round. This all together lead to a score of 10 points, which isn't too bad. I'm still betting on Frankie Perez and Yasuhide Tayama being the automatic promotion team while the other one eludes me, but is definitely going to be exciting (looks like we might be seeing Youngman/Warmonger at some point but I don't think it'll be next season). That's pretty cool - you weren't too far off with most of them. It was important to me to give Owusu something as he's an original and the favourite of many and it would be a shame for him to never get gold in the company. It's hard to ignore DWN's skills, and for sure there'll be a singles run for him somewhere down the line (unless he leaves the company), but it won't be for a while, I don't think. That's the only thing I have to go on here. Frankie Perez & T.B.D. vs. Magic Flash (Tag League Playoff) Tayama seems like the obvious choice for Frankie's partner, but I don't think who it is actually matters. Heroes & Hearts vs. Unstoppabreakable (PWL World Tag Championship) This was hard. I like all of these guys! And they've all had to go through so much individually and together to get to this point. As usual, there's a predictions competition taking place over the 7 rounds of League competition and the grand Finale at PWL Vengeance which is also the finale for the singles league, so a massive night. The next Tag show will be posted on Monday next week, with Friday's show being the singles round that predictions have already been posted for. Predictions Competitions Predicting the shows - A 50% commitment is required to enter the competition. - Draws earn you a point no matter who you chose. Predicting the tournament winner - You have two picks - the first will get you maximum points, while the second will get you half points. - The tournament winner pick counts is worth a maximum of 20% of the number of matches you predict. Winning The winner of the predictions competition gets to pick a PWL wrestler to have an in-depth interview on Joanne Rodriguez's Behind the Curtain podcast. Everyone who predicts 50% or more, will be able to submit questions to that wrestler as part of the interview (like an Ask Me Anything). Please make sure you get your winner predictions in before the second round of the League, else it will not count.
