(I have been playing original data since TEW 05 came out and even though I LOVE my DAMAGED-FREEVERSE, cheap plug, cheap plug, I need a little realism. I really miss the "scramble mode" that TEW 04 had so I am kind of making my own...this is for my own fun but if others enjoy...great!) Below is a complete timeline of events that has brought us to where we are right now...December 2006! Each is a clipping from my internet wrestling site, DamagedWrestlingReports.com. ECW RETURNS WITH ONE NIGHT STAND JUNE 9TH 2006 By Michael Damage It will be John Cena defending, not only his WWE Title but also the honour of the WWE as he meets #1 contender and "Mr. Money In the Bank" Rob Van Dam. One Night Stand also marks the full time return of ECW which will be debuting their new TV show on the Sci-Fi Channel the following week. Headed by Vince McMahon and Paul Heyman, the new ECW is designed to be another successful brand of the WWE, much like the Raw and Smackdown! brands. Only time will tell If this is a success or not but fan reaction has been great thus far! HISTORY REPEATING ITSELF FOR ECW BRAND AUGEST 17th 2006 By Micheal Damage It has been just over 2 months and already both the fans and the wrestlers agree that reviving ECW was a bad move. Right from the start, ECW TV failed to capture the audience that both the Sci-Fi network and WWE expected and when the "luke warm" reviews came in for the first ECW show...it was all downhill from there. The product never got better and people stopped watching. Now Sci-Fi Channel has announced that they are pulling the show from their line-up but have not yet made the expected announcement that ECW TV is dead. For now they are leaving the spot open and negotiations are still on with WWE about keeping the timeslot for other WWE programming. Many people backstage are putting the failed ECW run on the shoulders of Vince McMahon who was rumoured to turn down a lot of ideas from the ECW writers, headed by ECW creator Paul Heyman. Vince went with a lot of his own ideas and the hardcore ECW fans clearly showed their disgust. No word yet on the future of the ECW brand but do not expect it to return! ECW IS BACK IN "THE GAME" augest 25th 2006 By Micheal Damage Just when you think that they are down for the "3 count", ECW has new life!!! Vince McMahon has come to a decision with what to do about his struggling ECW brand. The Solution? GET RID OF IT!!!!! It is an early gift from "soon-to-be gandpa" Vince MaMahon to his son-in-law Paul Michael LeVesque (otherwise known as "Triple H") and his daughter, Stephanie McMahon, who is already 5 months pregnat. After a request by the expecting parents and a close-door meeting, Vince agreed to sell off the copyright to the name, as well as anything else that has to do with ECW to both paul Michael and Stephanie. The asking price by Vince is rumoured to be at a "bottom-dollar price" and the only catch is that WWE will still own the ECW Library collection in order to keep their 24/7 programming from losing selection. WWE has also managed to talk The Sci-Fi Channel into keeping the old ECW timeslot open for a new ECW show, although WWE had to cut a few costs in the deal. No word yet on when the new ECW will kick off but rumour is spreading that Triple H has already told many ECW guys who had a nice run with the brand that they will not be coming back! SHANE REQUEST CAUSES TENSION Augest 28th 2006 By Micheal Damage Shane McMahon has it all and still wants more. With the rebirth of the ECW being announces only days ago, Shane McMahon made a request of his own, he wants the WCW name. It is no secret the hatred that Vince McMahon has for the WCW legacy and you can expect that the old man didn't even hesitate when he denied his request. Shane is as stubborn as his father, however, and after a couple long nights of family arguing, Vince is at the end of his rope. Neither Shane nor Vince is apparently speaking and Vince has ordered every member of his family not get in the middle of it. We will keep you informed when we get more news! VINCE'S EMPIRE EXPANDS September 11th 2006 By Micheal Damage In somewhat surprising news, Vince McMahon and the WWE have announced the purchasing of both Total nonstop Action from Panda Inc., as well as Ring Of Honor from owner Gabe Sapolsky. Both ROH and TNA were having what people call "moderate successes" and some are surprised that both companies would give in so easily. In the case of TNA, Panda Inc. was said to be losing interest in the constant fight to keep TNA in teh wrestling map. They could have easily financed the company for a few more years but the offer the WWE purposed to them was just too much to pass. It is expected that Vince will add the TNA tape collection to the 24/7 Programming library and trash the TNA name, much like he has done with the WCW name. ROH was bought out after both Vince and owner Gabe Sapolsky agreed on a long term job with the WWE company. It is rumoured that Vince has offered Gabe the spot of head booker for either the Raw or Smackdown! brand. The ROH library will also be added to the 24/7 Programming. These 2 purchases marks the total annilahation once more of any type of competition for the WWE, a spot that Vince seems to enjoy the most!!! SHANE IS OUT, WCW IS IN, WWE IS AT WAR ONCE MORE!!!! October 22nd 2006 By Micheal Damage It took Shane McMahon almost 2 months of avoiding everyone to get other members of the family to finally get Vince to grant Shane's wishes. As of December 1st of this year, Shane is the new owner of WCW. With the package comes the copyright to the name, a TV timeslot on Spike TV that the WWE was able talk SpikeTV into keeping after TNA was bought out and a right to talk anyone who currently has a WWE contract to switch over to WCW. What hasn't been reported much over the internet the lasy few days was the state of the McMahon family right now. There are many reports of Vince actually cutting Shane out of his will as well as Vince holding a closedoor meeting with every WWE employee, informing them that If anyone takes Shane up on his offer of employment, that they will never work for the WWE again! Many WWE workers have taken Vince's words serious and many are reluctant to call the old man's bluff! A tired and emotional Vince held "Q & A" recently on "WWE.com" and when one caller asked what will happen If history repeats and WCW surpasses the WCW in the ratings again. Vince's voice was deep and clear as he claimed that : "Nothing from the WCW product has EVER been successful and everything fails there. If Shane is stupid enough to spend his life savings just to lose it back to me then so be it. This time the WWE will crush the WCW with pleasure and Shane, unfortunatly, WILL go down with the ship!!!" It is clear that things are not well in the McMahon household these days. WCW vs. ECW vs. WWE ... LET THE GAME BEGIN!!! Novemebr 5th 2006 By Micheal Damage Few people ev er thought that it would come to this but we are now going to see If Shane or Triple H and Stephanie are really as smart as their father. Both siblings have dipped into their own pocket in order who crawl out from under daddy's supportive care and now they are on their own. The only difference? Stephanie and Triple H are happily still in Vince's good graces while Shane has been left out to dry. Vince has made it clear that he will destroy the WCW this time and drove home the point of not having a "rescue boat" ready for when Shane is struggling to stay above water. Shane, on the other hand, has taken the challenge head on and has promised to show Vince and and for all that he is past his prime and should have handed down the WWE empire to him long ago! As a way of generating some major money out of this, Vince has actually shut down all WWE programming and has used his massive 24/7 library collection to fill in the timeslots while he puts together what he calls "The Ultimate Wrestling Company". He has offered any worker under a WWE contract to negotiate with either ECW or WCW and has announced that the Raw and Smackdown! Brands have been dropped and that the WWE will once more run both shows off one giant roster. You can expect all 3 companies to try their best to put out their debute shows in the coming month and don't expect any "leaks" on internet dirtsheets about who goes where and who gets signed...everyone will be surprised come "opening day!". (How this diary will work is that the game will do everything. All I am going to do is post the weekly shows on my "website" as well as make a comment here and there about what we "watched" that week and who really won that week. I do not intend on changing anything but I will try and add little run-ins and angles to blend the shows with the upcoming PPV's of each brand...I have 3 months already done and will keep going once I post the first few episodes... feedback is always welcome at any time....) thanks for your time MICHEAL DAMAGE aka DAMAGED1

damagedwrestlingreports.com WWE LEADS THE WAY December 2nd 2006 by Micheal Damage It is no surprise to report that the wwe.com website is already advertising the return of Monday Night Raw live on the USA Network.
The WWE is proud to announce the return of MONDAY NIGHT RAW, live on the USA network at 9:00 PM. Both the Intercotinental Title and the WWE Championship will be on the line and new champions will be crowned. Also this monday, 3 former mega-stars of WWE's past have agreed to return to continue the destruction they began before they left, and one of them is none other than "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Austin has been given a second chance by doctors and is eager to prove that he truly is the toughest S.O.B in the WWE ever!
So, it looks like this could be a whole new WWE from the WWE that we once knew before the event I like to call "The McMahon Meltdown". What are my thoughts on Steve Austin's return to the ring? Well, he has already tarnished his legacy with his poor attitude towards the company in the past so the "big" announcement of him entering a ring again really kind makes me wish I could turn the channel and see Triple H crowning himself the 1st ever ECW champion. I guess that "moment In History" will have to come a little later!!! This, as always, has been by DAMAGED POINT OF VIEW!!!! --------------------- UP NEXT, MONDAY NIGHT RAW ...
MONDAY NIGHT RAW DECEMBER, WEEK 1 , 2006 A pretty good crowd showed up for the return of their favorite TV show. We are instantly taken to the announce table and get a shock to see a very odd combo of Jim Ross and Terry Funk? The show kicked off with Vince McMahon standing in the middle of the ring doing his usual welcoming of everyone back to the WWE. He announces that tonight the action will never stop, then introduces the first match! Hulk Hogan VS. Bill Goldberg - HUGE pop for both men and the split chants of "Goldberg" and "Hogan" were amazing. Don't know how but they managed to talk Goldberg into doing the clean job... WINNER = HULK HOGAN Steve Austin VS. Batista - Another couple of huge pops for both the rattlesnake and the beast. Austin was outpowered in this one and Austin looked rusty and outmatched, even for Batista's limited wrestling arsenal. Austin uses a steel chair to DQ himself and knock batista silly to good heat from most of the crowd. WINNER - Batista IC TITLE MATCH John Cena VS. Edge - Edge was without Lita who is either a free agent still or has chosen to go to another company, I guess we will find out later. Edge looked good out there and made Cena look like a damn superstar. In the end, Edge went down with the F.U to once more get screwed out of a deserved title win WINNER - John Cena (New IC Champion) WWE TITLE MATCH Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker - With Goldberg, Austin and Hogan newly signed to the company, I am surprised they went with these 2 for the WWE title but I guess they have been the most loyal. Michaels still shows his age in his matches but overall it was another great battle with The Undertaker nailing a chokeslam after ducks a "sweet Chin Music" to score the win and his 4th title reign WINNER - The Undertaker (New WWE Champion)
damagedwrestlingreports.com A STAR STUDDED AFFAIR December 5th 2006 By Michael Damage SOOOO, this is the new face of the WWE? They go from pushing new main event talent like Edge and John Cena to giving that spot back to boring and overused The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels? Ok, I will go with that I guess. Seeing Hogan out there once more makes me sick...willt his guy break his hip or something please? He must be popping WAYYY too much Viagra to keep going, someone check him into a retirement home and FAST! Steve Austin is not the man he used to be in the ring and that is clear. What does the WWE do to counter that? They apparently turn him heel....we will see where this leads but I don't have any good feelings about it! As always, this has been my DAMAGED POINT OF VIEW

damagedwrestlingreports.com THE BACKLASH BEGINS December 7th 2006 By Michael Damage - In really shocking news, Linda McMahon has resigned as chairman of the WWE and has went across the city to the new WCW building and has accepted the C.E.O and Director of personal position from her son, Shane McMahon. No word has come out yet on why but many are suggesting that Linda has taken the feud between father and son a little too hard and it trying to send a stiff statement to her husband. Vince McMahon is said to be in an uproar over the move and you can bet that his desire to shut down the WCW once more is now stronger than ever! - Sabu has broken his silence during an online radio show. In it he blasts Paul Heyman, labelling him a "sell-out" and calling him "nothing more than a McMahon Puppet!". There are early rumours that Sabu has accepted an offer from WCW but those have yet to be confirmed. Either way, these are some nasty comments and you can bet that ECW will not be calling him anytime soon! - WCW went crazy with contracts a few days ago and sent one out to every men and woman who was under a WWE contract before the "McMahon Meltdown"!!! Word is that each contract was heavily laced with stipulations and clauses in an attempt to convince even the most loyal WWE worker to call Vince's bluff and come over to the WCW. One man who has been very vocal about Shane and his treatment of his father has been Paul Wright, otherwise known as The Big Show. He got a very attractive contract from WCW but has lashed out, saying : "Shane should be showing his father more respect then what he has been. Shane is nothing but a punk and I want nothing to do with the WCW product anymore!".

damagedwrestlingreports.com SMACKDOWN! IS READY TO BE UNLEASHED December 8th 2006 By Michael Damage - With no brand in place anymore, a new Smackdown! is ready to be unleashed on the world and 2 big matches have already been announced. Here is what the WWE.com website is announcing :
Smackdown is back and better than ever. A double main event is scheduled with the 2 new champions, John Cena and The Undertaker defending their respective titles against Rick Flair and a rematch with Shawn Michaels. Also, Steve Austin will be in action and hopefully we will get answers to his odd attack on Batista earlier this week on Raw. Smackdown! will also be the site of the debute of the man known as STING!!!! Friday Nights will never be the same!!!!!
- so, instead of going back home and helping the WCW get back on track he finally sells "his soul to the devil" and Vince gets his man. It is no secret that Vince has tried and failed a few times in the past to bring Sting to WWE, I guess money does talk! Sting is wayyy past his prime and his past work in TNA was nothing to be happy with so this new signing gives me about the same "warm fuzzy feeling" as the Steve Austin announcement. The Flair/Cena fight should be interesting at least! This, as always, has been my DAMAGED POINT OF VIEW
FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN DECEMBER, WEEK 1, 2006 Smackdown opened to huge fireworks as the packed crowd goes nuts. Jim Ross and Terry Funk welcome everyone to the "NEW WWE" ans starts spoonfeeding us the hype on the double main event tonight. It will be John Cena defending against Rick Flair and The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels in a rematch. Chris Masters VS. The Big Show (before the match, The Big Show was introduced first and produced a WCW contract when he got to the ring. He got on the stick and told the fans that he was offered a contract filled with "more zeros than I have ever seen". Show then rips the contract in a dozen pieces to a very loud and thrilled crowd as they chant "WCW Sucks". - The match itself was a joke, but you can tell that the Big Show was getting rewarded for his On-Air actions because he completed squashed Masters in less than 5 minutes.) WINNER - THE BIG SHOW (After the match, a returning Great Khali stormed to the ring and after a brief staredown he outpowers the Big Show, beating him down to the mat) Sting VS. Randy Orton (The debute of Sting, complete with flickering lights and heavy guitare riffed music, was over big time with the crowd and Randy Orton drew decent heat. Orton got into the ring and used the mic to tell the crowd that "Sting is another legend to be added to The Legend Killer's List". Sting lookeda little sloppy and rusty and Orton is not the man to use to try and cover up these mistakes but overall the crowd loved it, until Randy used the bottom ropes as leverage to roll up a stunned Sting. WINNER - Randy Orton Terry Funk calles Sting being "punk'd out" by Randy Orton one of the funniest things he has ever seen. Jim Ross fires back that Orton has no respect for the true legends of this sport Ross then turns his attention to Steve Austin. They show clips of last Monday when Austin beat down Batista with a steel chair. Ross once more does the boring "I've known Steve Austin for too many years and he has never done something so low" crap.... Chris Benoit & Kurt Angle VS. Carlito & Steve Austin (Angle got on the mic first and told the crowd pretty much what they already knew, that Benoit & Angle were 2 of the most talented and technical athletes to ever step into a WWE ring. Next week on Friday Night Smackdown they are going to prove that when they walk away the new Tag Team Champions. The match is Ok enough with Carlito working the entire match for his team. Everytime he goes to tag Austin, Steve jumps off the apron. Finally Steve gets bored and calmly walks away as Carlito falls victim to an ankle lock/crippler crossface combo move to end it. WINNER - CHRIS BENOIT & KURT ANGLE Hulk Hogan VS. Johnny Nitro Hulk Hogan draws a huge pop and quickly finishes off Mr. Johnny Nitro (without Melina) with that devistating leg drop WINNER - HULK HOGAN IC TITLE MATCH John Cena VS. Rick Flair So, Cena is back wearing the IC title, a belt I always thought fit better on him than the WWE title. Flair is looking for his IC title run in his 3rd stint with the WWE now. Flair is going to have to wait a little longer as Cena took a beating, then came back and ended it with the F.U as he always does WINNER - JOHN CENA (Still Champion) WWE TITLE REMATCH The Undertaker VS. Shawn Michaels Not as good as the Mondya Night match but still an acceptable main event with the deadman keeping his gold with a chokeslam. During this 10 minute match, Sting came to the ringside area and stood motionless as he watched the 2 men fight. Both Undertaker and Michaels got distracted a few times by either staring at him or trashing him to leave. After the match, Sting simply walked back up the ramp and left WINNER - THE UNDERTAKER (still champ)
damagedwrestlingreports.com SMACKDOWN OUTSHINES RAW December 9th 2006 By Micheal Damage - I must say, I enjoyed Smackdown last night a whole lot more than I enjoyed Raw on Monday. Got to give some credit to The Big Show, he is a big man with apparently really big ... well, you get the idea! It is one thing to be loyal to the company that made you a star but it's another whole can or worms to go on a national TV and commit "career suicide" like he did last night. He had better keep Vince happy now because If the WWE ever lets him go, you can bet that WCW and ECW will not likely give him the time of day! - Terry Funk has got to GO as a color commentator. WHo's bright Idea was that one anyway? he did make me laugh with that "Sting getting punk'd" comment, I'll give him that! - Sting loses to Randy Orton and they still work him into the WWE title scene along with The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels? This, as always, has been my DAMAGED POINT OF VIEW

damagedwrestlingreports.com ECW DEBUTES, WWE PREPARES FOR PPV December 10th 2006 By Micheal Damage - ECW is finally making an enterance. This coming tuesday, ECW Impact TV will debute. Below is a preview from their website :
Are you ready for blood, sweat and chairs? If so, make sure you tune in this coming tuesday for as ECW enters a new era. Impact TV debutes with a huge main event that pits ECW Mega-stars Kane and Triple H one on one with the winner headed to ECW One Night Stand in 3 weeks for a chance to become the new ECW Champion. Also scheduled to appear, Christian Cage , JBL , Jeff Jarrett and Monty Brown. This coming tuesday, the blood will flow...you don't want to miss it!
- Christian Cage in ECW? mild chock ... JBL in ECW? that one blows my damn mind considering his past relationship and feelings towards the company. One has to wonder If this new ECW product will really be nothing but meyham like the last 2 reincarnations or If Triple H and Paul Heyman have come up with a new approach? And what about that main event. Kane does fit into what ECW has always beens about in my eyes but please raise your hands If you honestly think Kane has even a small chance at winning that #1 Contender shot? Your a fool if you did! - The WWE has once more put out a preview, this time for both Raw and Smackdown.
This coming Monday on Raw you will all be witnessed to yet another action packed 2 hours of wrestling. John Cena must befend his title against 4 men on Monday with one of them being the red hot King Booker-T, as he has been dubbed lately. Also on the card, Edge does battle with the legendary Hulk Hogan and yet another former mega-star makes his return to the WWE to continue his path of destruction! On Friday Night Smackdown there will be a #1 Contender Match to see who will face The Undertaker for the WWE Title this coming Sunday at Armegeddon. One man will be Hulk Hogan, and his opponent? Tune in to find out!!!! Also, The tag Team Titles will be on the line as the Dream team of Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle meet the odd but dangerous team of Chris Masters and The Great Khali. And Friday will be a historic night as the powerhouse known as Batista squares off against one of the most dominating and dangerous man in pro wrestling history, Bill Goldberg!!!!. From Monday to Friday, you do not want to miss any WWE action!!!
- I must admit, that litte preview kind of got me pumped. On Raw, it looks like John Cena could be tested and I could see them stripping him of the title this close to the PPV to get a good storyline going. I am tickled pink that King Booker is back in the WWE and reviving tat great gimmick. Before the "McMahon Meltdown", he was red hot and VERY close to finally winning the World Title on the Smackdown brand. Advertising Hulk Hogan for both shows, as well as announcing him as one of the men involved in that #1 Contender's Match on Smackdown makes me wonder about people. Do you guys really get your rocks off watching a 60 year old idiot who has an impressive 2 move wrestling arsenal move at a snails pace in the ring? Man, someone take this guy's knee out with a lead pipe, PLEASEEEEE This, as always, as been MY POINT OF VIEW

DECEMBER / WEEK 2 / 2006
MONDAY NIGHT RAW The show kicks off with a new face joining Jim Ross and Terry Funk at ringside, Bobby Heenan. Heenan goes into a littel speech about how happy he is to be back on WWE TV. Ross tells the crowd that the main event tonight is a non-title battle between Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker to hopefully settle their differences. Funk tunes in and says that tonight the "stupid rapper gets canned" as John cena must defend against 4 men. Bill Goldberg VS. Brock Lesnar - A rematch from Wrestlemania 21, a match that has to go down as one of the most interesting in Wrestlemania history for the way the fans turned on both men in that match. Lesnar gets a decent pop from most of the fans who apparently missed him. He looked sharp in the ring and looked happy to finally be back in the WWE, however, he may have wished he signed with WCW or ECW instead because GOldberg scores the clean win after a dominating performance. WINNER - Bill Goldberg Edge VS. Hulk Hogan - Hogan gets his usual hero's welcome and Edge draws great heat. Edge manages to carry Hogan for atleast a watchable match and the ending comes when Mr. Kennedy makes a sudden appearance by drilling Hogan with a steel chair, allowing Edge to score a spear and get the pin WINNER - Edge Funk laughes and remarks how happy he is to see "MRRRRRR. KENNNNEEEEDDDYYY" return. Ross calls Funk an idiot and announces the next match. Shelton Benjamins VS. Sting - Sting finally gets his first win in the new WWE as Benjamins makes him look like the bona-fide star he once was..umm...YEARS ago!!! Stinger splash then the Scorpion Death Lock ends it clean. WINNER - Sting Batista VS. Randy Orton - Batista continues to impress as he takes a decent beating from Orton before coming back and showing Orton who the real future of the WWE is. WINNER - Batista FATAL 4 WAY IC TITLE MATCH Chris Masters VS. John Cena VS. King Booker VS. Johnny Nitro - A great contest with Booker and Cena doing most of the dominating. A great couple of near pinfall attempts kept this one intersting until the end that saw Booker score his axe kick on Johnny Nitro, then get knocked out of the ring and Cena steals the pinfall for the win WINNER - John Cena (still champ) - After the match, a pissed off King Booker re-entered the ring and yeleld for Cena. He makes a 1 on 1 IC title challenge for Smackdown and it is accepted by the smiling champion. Terry Funk calls Cena a "snake" for stealing King Booker's pin, adding that King Booker should be the champion right now. Heenan tells Funk that, out of anyone, Funk should know that a win is a win no matter how you get it! Jim Ross replies that the Smackdown showdown between the 2 of them should be a good one! The Undertaker VS. Shawn Michaels - Third times a charm I guess for these 2, but this one is not for the title. The Undertaker gets most of the early offence, then hands it over the Michaels who takes care of the rest and probably would have gotten the win had it not been for Sting's sudden arrival at ringside. Michaels waists too much time yelling at Sting, allowing the champion to recover and hit a chokeslam for the pin. WINNER - The Undertaker - The show closes with Sting entering the ring and asking for a mic. He calmly stares down at a hurt and dazed Michaels and reveals that he has always had an "itch" to see just how good Michaels is in the ring. He adds that he wishes they were both in their prime still but adds that Armegeddon is as good a place as any to finally meet one on one. Sting wishes him luck, then drops the mic and calmly walks away as the fasn explode into cheers at the thought of that dream match!

ECW TUESDAY IMPACT ECW TV is finally back on the air as the packed crowd goes nuts for the familiar hard hitting opening music. Paul Heyman and Gene Oakerland is at the announce table and welcomes everyone to another chapter in the history of ECW. Heyman cuts him right off by telling him to shut up and doing a great job of selling the company he loves so much. He says that the new ECW is much different from the others as the referee will ONLY enter a ring to make a 3 count, otherwise they stay on the outside and watch. He adds that "anything goes and everything is encouraged" and tells the fans to "buckle up because this ride is a nasty one!'. Oakerland finally gets some mic time and hypes the #1 Contender main event a little before the first match starts. Monty Brown VS. Christian Cage VS. Chris Harris - What an opening match. Brown supplied the power and used it to full advantage. Harris showed stills of great potential for the future and Cage is well, awesome!. This one was back and forth with plenty of chairs and even a table to show the fans what the company is all about. The ending came with Cgae ducking a wild chair swing by harris that catches Brown in the face. Cage hits a DDt on Harris into the same chair, then makes an easy pin on a hurt Brown to win it. WINNER - Christian Cage Brother Ray VS. Samoa Joe VS. Brother Devon VS. Abyss - Brother Ray and Brother Devon come to the ring first to announce that, even though they will always have eachother's backs, a new ECW means a new start for both men and that they are going their seperate ways. Both men give eachother a "high-five", then exchange stiff punches to the delight of the fans as Samoa Joe and Abyss make their way to the ring. This is the perfect place for Samoa Joe and his "stiff style" wrestling and he uses it to full advantage in this one. The ending came with the monster Abyss hurt on the outside and Samoa Joe falling victim to a "3D" one last time. As Devon celebrates with a yelling crowd, Ray rolls him up for the 3. WINNER - Brother Ray - After the match, 3D shakes hands one last time then depart for unknown singles careers. Paul Heyman praises Team 3D and says that they have always been proud to bleed for ECW. To see them disband is heartbreaking. Gene weakly cuts in that he expects both men to become major players in ECW for years to come. Dustin Rhodes & JBL VS. Finlay & Jeff Jarrett - Jeff Jarrett came to the ring first just as Samoa Joe was making his way to the back. Jarrett stops him and after a few words, Joe nods in agreement turns and walks back to the ring with Jarrett. JBL doesn't look happy to be entering an ECW ring and gets the mic. He informs the fans that he should be holding the WWE titlwe in the WWE right now but due to a "technical error" by his, now FORMER lawyer, JBL is locked into an ECW contract instead. He points out that he has a year to waist in this "rotting waist dump' and will make each and every ECW worker backsatge miserable until he is releasead! - The match itself, once it finally got started, was nothing great and far from the great action that the last 2 matches had but it was watchable. The ending came whne Samoa Joe tripped Dustin, allowing Jarrett to hit "the Stroke" and get a pinfall. WINNER - Jarrett & Finlay Gene wonders what Jarrett said to Samoa Joe, explaining that Joe is never one to really care about anyone's health or well-being! Heyman laughes and adds that Jarrett is one of the smartest men in the game today and is not surprised that he was able to strike up a deal that quickly with such a dangerous man as Samoa Joe. #1 CONTENDER MATCH Kane VS. Triple H - Triple H looked ripped and in great shape. he draws the best heat of the night, as expected. Kane looked great as well as the match was the perfect way to end the show. The ending finally came when Triple H tried to hit a pedigree onto the steel ringsteps, which he had brought into the ring. Kane pulled out of it at the last minute, slapped on a chokeslam and drilled the ECW owner into the staira with a loud, sick, THUMP...to score the upset win WINNER - Kane (New #1 Contender)

WWE FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN! Jim Ross welcomes everyone to Smackdown and quickly hypes the 2 big matches for tonight, King Booker VS. John Cena and Hulk Hogan VS. Edge in a rematch to see who will meet The Undertaker at Armegeddon this coming Sunday! Bill Goldberg VS. Batista - The first time ever that these 2 men meet and they surprisingly have about the same amout of wrestling knowledge, which is very little. No matter, both are over and their slow, power-driven match was a HUGE hit. The somewhat upset clean pin by Batista with the "Batista-Bomb" really shocked the fans. WINNER - BATISTA - After the match, Randy Orton sneaks in and hits a "RKO" to great heat from the crowd. He smiles down at a hurt Batista and tells him that he will egt his revenge for Monday's loss at Armegeddon. Mr. Kennedy VS. Shelton Benjamins - Kennedy's return match was a good one as Shlton makes him look good. Mr. Kennedy continued his popular enterance rountine of introducing himself, then gets an ass-kicking by Shelton and losing before he could mount a real offense. During the match, HulK Hogan came to the ring and kept Kennedy distracted enough for Shelton to keep him on the defensive until he finished him off. WINNER - Shelton Benjamins Terry Funk tells that Mr. Kennedy will get his revenge on Hogan and that Kennedy will be the man to finally end Hogan's career. Ross laughes and fires back that many men boldly predicted that and that all of them failed in the attempt. Tag Team Title Match Chris Masters & Great Khali VS. Benoit & Angle - Benoit & Angle are a great team and they are probably the best technical wrestlers since "the Hitman" years to compete in the WWE but how do you stop a giant of a man like Khali and a powerhoue like Masters? The Big Show was a big help as he came to the ring and got into a fight with Khali, leaving a pissed off Masters to fall victim to the "Crossface Anklelock" finisher. WINNER - Benoit & Angle (New champs) Carlito VS. Brock Lesnar - So, Lesnar returns to the WWE after a long absense and a long courtroom battle and he is made to job out in his return match. How did he fair against rising star and returning WWE youngster, Carlito? the company made him look weak....Carlito dominated. WINNER - Carlito IC TITLE MATCH Booker-T VS, John cena - A great tilt from 2 men who are on a roll right now. King Booker had some great offense and Cena look his usual early match beating. Booker made a costly mistake going for an axe kick too early and Cena caught him in a "F.U" to score the win WINNER - JohN Cena (still champ) After the match, an angery Booker gets on the mic and mocks Cena, calling him a weak champion. he says that he made a small mistake but challenges Cena to a rematch this sunday at the PPV. Booker promises to end Cena's win streak for good! The champ just shrugs and agrees as the crowd cheers #1 CONTENDER'S MATCH Edge VS. Hulk Hogan - A rematch from Monday's contest with pretty much the same result as Mr. Kennedy helps Edge score the pinfall. WINNER - Edge (#1 Contender) - The show closes with Hogan getting beaten down until the lights flicker and The Undertaker makes his way to the ring. Edge and Kennedy stand their ground until The Taker enters the ring, then Edge pushes Kennedy into his path and bolts from the ring. A shocked Kennedy falls victim to a tombstone as Edge looks on, wide-eyed as the show closes.
- Who won the week? Did ECW put on a good enough show to prove they can compete with WWE? How was RAw and Smackdown? Anyone have an opinion? hope you all enjoyed...

DECEMBER / SUNDAY , WEEK 2 / 2006
WWE ARMAGEDDON PPV The WWE camera's come alive as the crowd goes nuts. The camera swims through the crowd before settling on the the announce table where Jimm Rioss and Terry Funk are sitting. Absent is Bobby Heenan to suggest that his Raw appaearance may have been a 1 time deal. Jim Ross welcomes everyone to Armegeddon and adds that tonight will be nothing but action as 12 matches have been signed for the event. Funk cuts in by explaining that none of them are as more important as King Booker taking the IC title from John Cena and Edge finally burying the "deadman" for good in the WWE Title main event! Ross adds that there will be 4 titles matches tonight and that the Tag team Titles and the Cruiserweight title will also be won tonight. Toughest S.O.B Match Steve Austin VS. Mark Henry VS. Scott Steiner - Austin enters the ring first and doesn't look happy as he demands a mic. He is still getting decent pops from the crowd so he solidifies his "heel" status by telling the fans to shut the hell up! Austin says that it is pathetic that he has to beat the hell out of 2 men just to prove to the world what the world already knows, and that is that Austin will ALWAYS be the toughest S.O.B in the world! - As you may have guessed, this match was a car wreck from the opening bell. Between all 3 men, they have a combined wrestling arsenal of about 4 moves!!! Kind of shocking to see Scott Steiner back with the company after that horrible first run but I guess with Triple H gone, anything can really happen now! Mark Henry gets the upset pinfall after Steve Austin just gives up and walks away from the ring. Henry takes advantage of a hurt Stiener, hits a splash and gets the 3. WINNER - Mark Henry Jim Ross is huming with anger as he asks where the hell Austin is going? Funk adds that he has proven to be the "toughest S.O.B" in WWE history already and shouldn't have to defend that honour against a bunch of knowbodies! Ross accuses Austin of being a coward and wonders loudly what Austin has gone through the last few years to make him act the way he is now! Umaga VS. Christopher Daniels - Umaga is managerless but still a great character as he storms the ring. Daniels finally cracks the WWE roster but gets little time to show off his talent as Umaga rolls over him easily and quickly WINNER - Umaga GRUDGE MATCH Hulk Hogan VS. Mr. Kennedy (Mr. Kennedy has been sticking his nose in Hogan's business the last week in an attemtp to get noticed. He got noticed and now he has to face the music, Hulkamania style!) - Hogan always gets a heros welcome as he strolls to the ring. Mr. Kennedy walks to the ring all smiles and full of confidence. He also skips his usual spotlight opening as he spends the first 4 minutes of the match trying to avoid an angry Hogan from attacking him as he gets onto the ring apron. When the match finally happens, Kennedy has a hard time making Hogan took good and the match gets a little sloppy. Kennedy is marketable as a future star but only with the right guys and Hoagn is not one of them. The match thankfully ends with the "career crippling" leg drop. WINNER - Hulk Hogan Rick Flair VS. Shelton Benjamins - Rick Flair refuses to give up as he strolls to the ring to the delight of the crowd. - Shelton Benjamins walks calmly to the ring in sunglasses and laced with jewellery. He enters and asks for a mic. Shelton looks Flair up and down and starts to laugh. He comments that "space mountian sure has gotten old and boring over the years". Shelton calls Flair "grandpa" and tells him to take a good look at the newest and most thilling ride in the park and offers a free ride ... to Rick Flair's wife later tonight after the show! The got a great pop from the crowd and one hell of a beating for Shelton. A great battle with Flair giving off one of his best performances in years and he gets the win as he uses his old dirty tricks to poke Benjamins eye, groin him and use the ropes as he rolls him up. WINNER - Rick Flair Ross laughes that "Space Mountian" may be getting old but it is still pleasing millions of people everyday! Funk asks Ross if his wife is one of the millions? Ross quickly tells Funk not to go there! Trish Stratus VS. Mickie James - Typical short woman's match with Trish carrying the match. Mickie takes advantage of a rare Trish mistake and rolls her up for the upset 3 count WINNER - Mickie James GRUDGE MATCH Big Show VS. The Great Khali (This is a grudge match that started when Khali attacked the Big Show after his match on Smackdown a week ago.) - The Big Show is huge but standing chest to chest with Khali ... wow! Khali is rather boring and Very limited in the ring and was not paired up well with The Big Show. Thankfully Big Show ended this one quickly by a countout after knocking the giant over the top ropes with a big boot to the face. WINNER - The Big Show CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE MATCH AJ Styles VS. Simon Dean - One of the most gifted and talented men in pro wrestling today has finally arrived in the WWE, AJ Styles! What he did wrong to get him paired with "cronic loser" Simon Dean, well, that is yet to be determined. - Either way, Styles made this an awesome match and Dean, even though slapped with a stupid gimmick, is gifted himself and did a great job ... getting beat up mostly. Styles debutes his "Styles Clash" to the WWE fans and wins his first of hopefully many WWE titles! WINNER - AJ Styles (new champ) After the match, Gregory Helms makes an appearance by drilling Styles with a steel chair and taking the Cruiserweight title. Ross praises AJ Styles as the type of athlete that the company will be building around in the near future, a rare specimen! Funk tells Ross that he should be refering to Gregory Helms because it is a crime that Helms was not given a chance to compete for the gold, he is the best that the WWE has! Ross changes topics and does a great job selling the hype by claiming to have dreamed of a HBK/Sting match for years! Funk adds that he doesn't care who the heck wins as long as there is blood involved? Ross asks him the same question we are all wondering? Why the hell are you in WWE and not ECW? Funk adds that the woman are better looking here! DREAM GRUDGE MATCH Sting VS. Shawn Michaels (Sting spent a couple nights watching Michaels fight the Taker, successfully distracting the "Heartbreak Kid" before finally letting his intentions be known as wanting to "scratch an itch" by fighting Michaels for the 1st time) - What a match, which could go down as MOTN. It started with a staredown, then 12 minutes later it ended with a handshake, after Michaels rang Sting's bell with his "sweet chin music"! WINNER - Shawn Michaels GRUDGE MATCH Bautista VS. Randy Orton (After a loss to Batista, Randy Orton shows his disgust by attacking him on Smackdown after his match. Tonight they settle the score) - Orton and Batista know eachother well and this match really benefitted from it. Great offence from either man and the crowd even got a good ref. The ending came suddenly when Orton slapped on a "RKO" but Batista just powered out of the move by tossing Orton onto his back, hard. As Orton staggered to his feet he fell victim to a "Batista-Bomb" as The Beast continues to dominate. WINNER - BATISTA TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH Benoit & Angle VS. Tajiri & Goldberg - Tajiri makes a return to the WWE to good fan reaction. Goldberg also got a great reaction as he made his way to join his partner. - Benoit & Angle got great pops as they entered the ring with the Tag belts around their waists. - Tajiri matched rather well agianst both men and plenty of nearfalls and great spots kept the crowd pumped. Golberg completly dominated when he was in the ring as Benoit and Angle had a hard time finding a weakness to the big man. Benoit & Angle managed to finally find that weakness, keeping Goldberg out of the ring and take out Tajri instead. That';s what they did as Angle put him away with his "Angle Slam" to keep the belts. WINNER - Benoit & Angle (Still Champs) Jim Ross says that John Cena is ready, willing and more than able to shut Booker-T for good! Funk corrects Ross by telling him that he is King Booker and that royalty always come out on top. Funk ends by saying that Cena is about to find out first hand that "peasants" always bow down to THE KING! IC TITLE MATCH John Cena VS. King Booker-T (King Booker took exception to losing a Triple Threat and losing his chance at the title. In a singles match, he made a mistake that cost him the title. The King wants one more chance) - Cena and Booker work great together and took eachother to the limit. Easily the best match these 2 have ever done together. In the end, Booker once more fell victim to a Cena finisher, this one being the "STF.U", with Cena making "the King" tap out! WINNER - John Cena (Still champ) WWE TITLE MATCH Edge VS. The Undertaker - Edge looks good in the main event slot and he looked ready for a battle. As soon as The Undertaker got to the ring though, he bailed out as fast as be could. After a few minutes of trying to get Edge into the ring, Taker exited and gave chase, allowing Edge to use a drop toe hold to drive the Taker hard into the nearby steps. From then on in, Edge took the offensive for most of the match, even hitting the Taker with 2 spears after accidently hitting the referee with his first spear attempt. The match did end about the 17 minute mark when Edge hit his 3rd spear on the Taker and went for the cover. With no referee, Shawn Michaels dove into the ring wearing a referee's shirt but the The Undertaker kicked out at the very last second possible. Edge took exception to a "slow count" and gave Michaels a vew shoves as he trashed him. He then slapped him across the face as he told HBK to "wake up" and do his job right. Michaels responded with a little "sweet chin music" to teh delight of the fans. A recovering Undertaker glared at Michaels who just motioned for him to make the pin, which he did. WINNER - The Undertaker (still champ) The PPV closes with Michaels handing Taker the WWE title and telling him that "it's not over!"
this is good, i like the backstory, and i know people are trying to push ECW as a new promotion (myself included) and hope that the readers like it, but i have to admit, the ECW side of things doesn't interest me in this. as a fan of ECW from the time of it beig on Bravo and Channel 5, this just doesnt seem to cut it, i mean, the only two ECW workers on your first ECW Impact! (why not an original ECW name, or even their old Hardcore TV monicker?) are the Dudley Boys, and they're still suing the TNA Brother names! WCW seems interesting as the backstory of the male mcmahon fued is good, but would Linda really have jumped to WCW? surely to stay neutral shed have gone to ECW with Steph? WWE seems to be ok. I like the way you critisise your own shows, it gives the diary an extra something, because it makes the reader actually think about what the upcoming results will be. Overall i think its an ok diary, main concern is ECW, make it more like ECW than TNA and you've got your self a fantastic diary.

thanks for the comments but you have remember that I have no control over who gets signed by these 3 companies and what matches happen.. All i am doing is simming the game each day and using the EXACT CARDS the game makes up to create a new wrestling world...and report it! I used the ECW Impact name only because I really couldn't think of anyhting from the old ECW (was never a huge fan way back then). The only thing I add or changed within each card will be tag team names (Because TEW05 is full of lame Tag names) and adding run-ins or small interviews to keep a new storyline I created for each company going...the way they book each card will either help my created storyline or kill it right away..that's the challenge I face! thanks and I hope you keep reading!

DECEMBER , WEEK 4 , 2006 (I am not too sure how I screwed up the weeks but this is week 4 in the game so just go with the flow folks!)
WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW The place is electric as Jim Ross and Terry Funk welcome everyone back for another exciting 2 hours WWE action! Ross says that last night at Armegeddon, both John Cena and The Undertaker successfully defended their titles. Funk chimes in that they both got lucky and that the next time the results will be different! CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE REMATCH AJ Styles VS. Simon Dean - A rematch from last night's battle. Dean put up a littel bit more offence this time but the end result was still the same. A "Styles Clash" for all! WINNER - AJ Styles (still champ) - After the match, out walks gregory Helms with the Cruiserweight title around his waist. He tells Styles that he can get his title back on Smackdown If he accepts Helms title match challenge. Styles agrees and Helms holds the belt high in the air as the fans give him mild heat Mickie James VS. Funk hears the NWO theme click on and adds that Hall is making a grand enterance. Hulk Hogan VS. Scott Hall - Scott Hall enters the ring and asks for a mic. He waits for the NWO music to stop and asks the crowd If they enjoyed hearing that music agian? Of course, the crowd reaction was big. Hall says that he hoped they enjoy because that will be the last time they ever hear it. He explains that the NWO was the root of the problem for Scott Hall and it was the NWO that ruined Hall's life. Hall informs everyone that he was a dedicated husband and father who was just trying to make the best buck when he went to WCW from the WWE. Hall adds that he was approached by Eric Bishoff and Hulk Hogan to be involved in a new storyline that they promised would make him a mega-star! He adds that they were right and that the NWO did just that, however, with all the fame and power came all the demons! Drugs, alcohol and women were are the rule and not the exception when it came to the backstage life of the old WCW and Hall explains that he enjoyed plenty of it. So much so that he ended up losing everything that he ever loved in the world... Tonight, howveer, marks a new day and a new Scott Hall. He announces that "The Bad Guy" is back and tonight he will get revenge on the one man that orcastrated the the NWo and the man that ruined his life ... HULK HOGAN! - Hogan storms the ring full of rage over the words and both men go nose to nose. The crowd is redhot with anticipation as the camera catches Hogan yelling at Hall that he has things all messed up. Hall responds by slapping Hogan and the match is on. The match is nothing great from a wrestling standpoint but when you had on the emotional opening chatfest by Hall, this match could become a classic. The match ended when Hall rolled away from the dreaded legdrop and rolled up Hogan before the old man knew what had happened. WINNER - Scott Hall Ross comments that Hall may have been able to clean out his closet of demons but singling out Hogan with those obsurd accusations like he did just shows how pathetic Scott Hall still is! Funk demands to know how Ross could say that after everything Scott has had to go through in his life thanks to Hogan and the NWO. Ross repeats that the demons Scott Hall has had to face had nothing to do with Hulk Hogan. Funk tells Ross that he is too gullible for his own good! Great Khali VS. Matt Hardy - The boring and stale Great Khali lurches to the ring first to no heat, boy, what a smart signing! - Matt Hardy gets a decent pop as he hits the ring and attacks the giant. - Hardy is made to do a quick and painless job for some odd reason...big squash WINNER - The Great Khali Bill Goldberg VS. Batista - Goldberg gets a greta pop as he hits the ring while his pyro enterance is still going off. - Batista has a pyro enterance that is even more impressive and "The Beast" is on a roll right now in the WWE. - A great opening segment with both men going nose to nose. This is the first eevr meeting between these 2 and I was a little excited to see it. As expected, this was the usual powerhouse VS. powerhouse match with a great moment of Batista rolling out of a "Jackhammer" and insteantly slapping and exicuting his "Batista-Bomb" for a thrilling win WINNER - Batista MAIN EVENT NON-TITLE REMATCH Edge VS. The Undertaker They had a great PPV match on Sunday for the title but I guess Edge has to once more prove himself to get another shot. If he is trying to prove to head booker Gabe Sapolsky and Vince Mcmahon that he belongs in the main event scene, he sure if doing a good job because he gave the Taker a great battle. The ending came with a DQ as Randy Orton made a sudden appearance at ringside just as the Undertaker was about to connect with a chokeslam to end it. WINNER - The Undertaker - The show closes with the Taker getting a beating from both Edge and Orton as the fans grow hostile!
Animal is given the victory in this one but Harris made sure it was close. WINNER - Road Worrior Animal - After the match, Abyss hits the ring and connects with his "black hole slam" on an unsuspecting Animal. Dustin Rhodes VS. Dustin finishes him off quickly with a Lariat, then drills him with a steel chair for good measure. WINNER - Dustin Rhodes - After the match, Dustin drills London a few more times until the referee finally rips the chair from his hands. The referee gets a lariat for that move as the fans give him some decent heat Heyman pipes up and says that what they all just witnessed was a man who has had it and just doesn't care anymore. Gene wonders loudly what would push Dustin over the edge and Heyman nearly stands up in shock. Heyman explains that Dustin has always had to live in the shadow of his famous father, Dusty Rhodes. Dustin was stuck with a "homosexual driven" character and was forced to wear dresses and women's underwear and bras or lose his job. He continues by saying that he was always stuck with the usual "cowbay" type character whenever he wasn't being forced to wear the gold facepaint. Heyman finishes his rant by saying that Dustin Rhodes has every right to be pissed off at the world and promises all the fans watching the show who think Dustin his nothing more than a joke to keep watching ECW and see waht happens! Gene tells Heyman to ease off his viagra supply because the bloodrush from his head is effecting his brain! Rhino VS. Christian Cage - Former WWE and TNA champions are now ready to become ECW Champions and they proved why in thei match as both of them used anything that wasn't nailed down on eachother. The ending came with both men bloody and Rhino hurt after missing a gore and going through an upright table instead. Cage swallows hard for one last breathe, then nails an "unprettier" on a chair for the win WINNER - Christian Cage After the match a bloody and battered Cage gets to his feet and turns, right into a waiting Chris Harris who scoops him up and connects with his "Cat-a-tonic" finisher through a set-up table in the ring. TV TITLE & #1 CONTENDER MATCH Raven VS. Finlay - The fans give Raven a HUGE pop as he makes his return to ECW. They give Ravan a few minutes to make some poses and soak up the ovation he is getting from diehard ECW fans before Finaly's new music plays and the charging Irishman meets Raven head on in the middle of the ring. - The fans in the crowd didn't come to see a wrestling match, they came to see blood flow and they got just that. just like the match before, Raven's face was a crimson mask and Finlay was having fun making him bleed. To his credit, Raven was used to the world of ECW and fought through the pain to catch Finlay in a DDT a piece of the exposed concrete floor outside of the ring. He rolls the motionless Finlay over and the referee makes the 3 count right on the ring apron floor. WINNER - Raven (New TV champion & #1 contender for ECW title) - The lights suddenly go out and a few seconds later they come on to see Kane standing right behind a bloody Raven. Raven turns right into a chokeslam onto the same concrete floor that Finlay got DDT'd into. The show closes with Kane standing over a motionless Raven as fans toss garbage at him
DECEMBER , WEEK 4 , 2006
WWE FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN! Paul Burchill VS. Bobby Lashley - The powerhouse known as Bobby Lashley is over with the crowd pretty good and I have no idea why. He is nothing more than a jacked up musclehead with a 4 move arsenal...why oh why do people like this guy? - The pirate returns to the WWE as Burchill makes his way to the ring having a sword fight with some unseen opponents. The referee has to ask him 3 times to put away the sword, then dives out of the ring as Burchill charges Lashley with the sword or his head. Lashley uses a nasty spinebuster to lay him out, then kicks the sword out of the ring. - Burchill is a decent worker but no match for Lashley who finishes him off at around the 5:25 minute mark. WINNER - Bobby Lashley NON-TITLE TAG MATCH Christopher Daniels & Matt Hardy VS. Benoit & Angle - I like this team of Hardy & Daniels but they were no match for the Tag champions and future hall of famers Benoit & Angle. Benoit & Angle dominated and disposed of them yesterday's trash. I just hope the WWE keeps Hardy & Daniels together. WINNER - Benoit & Angle - Jim Ross comments on how dominant a tag team Benoit & Angle are and wonders who would ever be able to step up and take those tag belts away from them. - Terry Funk laughes and says that next week on Monday Raw they will defend agianst Bobby lashley and Brock lesnar and tells Ross that he will be eating those words when new champs are crowned. - Ross adds that that should be a great battle! - Out from the back walks Eugene to a decent pop. It is sad how this character was once over HUGE and now is reduced to sympathy cheer. Anyways, Eugene enters the ring and comments on how wonderful it is to be back in the WWE and how all of his favorite wrestlers are here. - He begins to run them off when odd music plays and out walks non other than Lex Luger. Luger is all smiles and looks VERY old as he enters the ring and circles a happy Eugene who wants to shake his hand. - Eugene screams that the "The Lex Express is here, The Lex Express is here" and then starts patting his elbow much like Luger did back in the WWE when he had the "loaded elbow" storyline. Luger smiels and tells Eugene to calm down, saying that it is always good to meet a fan and announces that The Total package is once more reay to dominate the WWE. Luger receives a chorus of boos except for Eugene who starts clapping. - Luger's smile vanishs as he tells the crowd that they may not be happy about that announcement but the fact of the matter is that he IS back and there is nothing they can do about it! Luger then smiles once more as he asks Eugene If he would like to meet another one of Eugene's favorite wrestlers, then calls out Steve Austin. - More heat as Austin storms the ring looking as pissed off as ever. Eugene is going nuts with happiness and tries to shake Austin's hand. Austin gives him one last glare before connecting with a stunner. The crowd is in an uproar as Luger laughes and pats Austin on the back. - Out from the back comes Hulk Hogan to a huge pop. Luger and Austin watch as Hogan enters the ring and gets in their face. Hogan is all fire as he tells both of them that he is ready for a fight if they want. Austin gives Hogan one last look before turning and calmly walking out of the ring with Luger in tow. - Ross comments that poor Eugene is just too gullible for his own good. - Funk adds it looks like a new partnership has just formed in the WWE and comments that he is still shocked to see Luger back in the WWE! - Ross turns the corner and starts hyping the grudge match next between AJ Styles and Gregory Helms, explaining how this match came aboutand adding that Styles has a chance to take back his Cruiserweight title CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE MATCH Gregory Helms vs. AJ Styles - Helms comes to the ring with the Cruiserweight title arund his waist. - Styles is readty for a fight and charges the ring, spearing an attacking Helms as he dives into the ring. What a high flying contest. Both Helms and Styles put on a great show and both men should be proud of this one. The ending came when Helms called out that "It's Vertibreaker Time" but before he could slap on his highly dangerous finisher, Styles spun him around and hit a spinebuster to end it suddenly. WINNER - AJ Styles (still champ) IC TITLE MATCH Mark Henry VS. John Cena - The monster Mark henry comes to the ring looking as mean as ever. - Cena gets a great pop and you can't say anything about not behing motivated because this guy is always fired up when he exits that curtian. - Henry is slow and strong as an ox and keeps Cena grounded for most of the match. cena got in a couple offensive bursts but Henry was able to rub them out with his strength. The ending came when Cena managed to get Henry reeling with a series of stiff right elbows to the jaw. As he staggers to the ropes, Cena gets a running start and both men go tumbling over the top ropes, landing hard on the thin mats below. Henry must have got mad at this because he pushed the ring announcer out of the way and busted Cean open with a thunderous chair shot to the head. Referee calls for the bell so Henry blasts Cena once more for getting DQ'd WINNER - John Cena (still champ) Ross says that Mark henry is one unstable and unstoppable monster. Funk adds that he doesn't care who he hurts or how badly he hurts them...and that Cena is just lucky Mark got himself Dq'd because Funk predicts henry would be IC champion right now If they kept the fight in the ring! They show clips of last Monday with Edge and Randy Orton beating the hell out of The Undertaker as the show goes off the air Ross predicts that The Undertaker is going to want revenge for that attack and adds that Orton had no business sticking his nose in that match! Funk adds that Orton had better worry about a red hot Batista tonight and not the Undertaker if he hopes of walking out of here under his own power tonight! MAIN EVENT Randy Orton VS. Batista - Edge accompanies Orton to the ring and both pose in the center of the ring as they draw great heat! - Batista gets great pops as he comes to the ring with fireworks going off. He enters and stares both men down as a smiling Edge yells at him that "he's getting as asskicking like the Undertaker got!". - A great rematch from the Armageddon PPV but not as good as that one. Edge stayed out of the match for most of it until the end when Batista had Orton set up for a "Batista-Bomb". He then hopes on the ring arpon and lips off Batista, succeeding in making the big man toss Orton away and distract him. Orton recovers and sets himself up to conenct with an "RKO" when Batista turns around but the lights suddenly go off instead. - They come back on a second later and the crowd pops huge as The Undertaker is standing right behind an unsuspecting Orton. Edge's face drains of color and he jumps down and backs away from the ring. Batista turns and smiles and Randy drops his head as he knows what is coming. He turns around to meet his impending doom, a chokeslam in the middle of the ring as the show closes. WINNER - no contest.
Umaga & King Booker - Luger & Austin hit the ring first and demand mics. Austin yells for the fasn to shut or else he is going into the crowd and kick each and every one of their asses. He hands the mic to Luger and Luger starts off by making the obvious statement, that knowbody apparently wants Luger and Austin around! Luger adds that the both of them are OK with this because If they were liked by all then they would have to put on fake smiles and be nice and friendly to complete morons like Eugene! Luger finishes his ranting by saying that Luger and Austin may be looked upon as Rejects by most people but the fact is that neither of them are leaving anytime soon so get used to it!!!! - Umage and the King come to the with seperate music and rightt from the start they can't work as a team right. AJ Styles - Chris Masters makes his WWE return in a great 2 way that was easily carried and highlighted by some insane spots from AJ Styles. The ending came when Gregory Helms succedded in connecting with his illegal "Vertibreaker" finisher, then found himself locked in the "Masterlock" after celebrating too much. Helms easily went down and masters walked away the winner. Masters demands a mic after his match and says that the future of the WWE has returned and that he knows the fans are happy! Masters adds that one man is not happy with Masters returning and that is John Cena. The crowd boos as Masters declines claiming to be too tired and adds that he will let Cena enjoy being champion for another 4 days... WINNER - Chris Masters Ross gives Masters credit for showing how much guts he has but suggets that he is overlooking just how dangerous an opponent Cena is! Funk laughes at the remark and fires back that a man with as much talent as Chris Masters doesn't need to worry about such detail! TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH Benoit & Angle VS. Lashley & Lesnar - The technical wizards that are Benoit & Angle recieve huge pops as they make their way to the ring. - Lesnar and Lashley look pretty good and intimidating as they walk side by side to the ring, talking strategy the whole way there. - A great match that pitted power VS. Speed with speed winning out after Lesnar fell victim to an "Angle Slam" WINNER - Benoit & Angle (still champs) Carlito & Scott Hall & Bill Goldberg VS. Golberg overpowered everyone, even Stiener after the 2 started off the match with a "posedown" to see who had the best chisled body. - The ending came when Lex Luger and Steve Austin came to the ring and attacked Hogan and Eugene at ringside. This left Stiener alone to fall victim to a 3 man beatdown and a "jackhammer" to end it! WINNER - Carlito , Goldberg & Scott Hall - After the match, Luger and Austin took the beatdown into teh ring but was forced to flee when a recovering Scott Steiner came back into the ring with a steel chair. Ross calls Luger and Austin a bunch of Rejects and says that they had no business at ringside. Funk adds that when you have done so much for pro wrestling as these 2 have done, you can do whatever you want! Batista VS. Tajiri - The redhot Beast tore through Tajiri to an easy victory. Tajiri looked good in his return to the company and still as crazy as ever. Tajiri misseda rounhouse kick and soon found himself in a "Batista-bomb" for the 3. During the match, Randy Orton and Edge came out and mocked Batista throughout the match. After the match was over, batista yelled for them to come to the ring but Orton and Edge just laughed at him and disappeared backstage WINNER Batista The Undertaker VS. He is carrying a cookie sheet and a stop sign with him as he enters. - The monster Abyss storms the ring to good heat. He enters and instantly charges Noble who catches him flush in the face with stop sign. A flush of attacks by the stop sign and the cookie sheet and Abyss is staggering and dazed as the bell rings. - Noble's offense doesn't last long as the massive bulk and strength of Abyss is too much and soon Abyss has Noble crashing through a table with his "Black Hole Sun" to end it. WINNER - Abyss As Abyss is walking to the backstage area, Road Worrior Animal is headed to the ring for his match. He coems out as the officials are getting Abyss to the back and jumps Animal from behind, kicking off the match. Storm is more aggressive and looks a little more comfortable using the various weapons hidden uner and around the ring and uses a bunch on Animal. JANUARY , WEEK 1 , 2007
WCW THURSDAY NITRO The return of Nitro kicks off with a packed crowd and signs everywhere in the crowd. At the announce table is a pretty impressive and acceptable team of Eric Bishoff and Jerry Lawler. (The best announce team of the 3 anyways). Bishoff welcomes everyone to the return of WCW and the return of Nitro here on Thursday nights! He announces 3 big #1 contender matches later tonight, as well as the US title being up for grabs. Lawler explains how excited he is to be a part of history, a part of the new WCW and says that he can't wait to kick things off! #1 CONTENDERS MATCH - US TITLE Kid Kash VS. Chris Sabin (The winner will meet the new US champion at next Thursday's New Blood Rising PPV) - Sabin comes to the ring first to a good pop. - Kid Kash gets the nod as the heel and plays it up, drawing mild heat. Both men have met a number of times in the old TNA so they knew how to work a match and did a great job. The match was fast paced and explosive, with Sabin scoring the win with his "cradle Shock" finisher. WINNER - Chris Sabin #1 CONTENDERS MATCH - WCW TITLE Kenny VS. Sgt. Slaughter - WCW must have been able to talk the WWE out of the rights to "Spirit Squad" copyright because the music played and out came Kenny and Mikey. They gave eachother a "high five" and then ran to the ring to perform an odd dance number for the crowd. - Slaughter looks very old and still very bad when wrestling in the ring and I have no idea why he was in this match in the first palce but Kenny walked all over him, ending it with a legdrop off the top turnbuckle. WINNER - Kenny UNITED STATES TITLE MATCH Spanky VS. Kip James - Spanky runs to the ring first full of energy and truly excited to get such a great shot at a title in his first WCW match. - "Outlaw" Kip James walks to the ring calm and collected. - Spanky surprised James with a sudden burst of offense that had him reeling. After a few nearfalls, James took over and never ket up until his "Super legdrop" finisher ends at at the 6 minute mark. WINNER - Kip James (New US champ) #1 CONTENDER MATCH - WCW TITLE Kevin Nash VS. Matt Striker - Kevin Nash comes to the ring first to a good enough pop, but not great for a guy being dubbed as their top star! Nash looks around at the packed crowd in disgust aqnd yells for a mic. Nash yells that he hates being lied to and that next week at the New Blood Rising PPV, Shane McMahon had better have some answers for him or else people are going to start getting real hurt around here! - Matt Striker comes out using his "teacher" gimmick from the WWE, another copyright they apparently talked the WWE out of. He walks to the ring and glares at Nash as he removes his pocket protector and reading glasses before entering the ring. - Nash demolished Striker and it was over in no time with a jacknife powerbomb WINNER - Kevin Nash The show closes with Bisoff hyping the Kenny VS. Nash fight for the WCW title and the Sabin VS. James fight for the US title at New Blood Rising next Thursday night. Lawler comments on Nash's edgy words and wonders what occured between Nash and Shane McMahon. Bishoff adds that he doesn't know but he doesn't want to be Shane McMahon next Thursday If Shane arrives at the PPV with the answers Nash wants!
