Nevermore
http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/ecwonline.jpg The final options for Cyberslam confirmed! http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/ECWWorldTitle.jpg Rhino vs. Raven © http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/Rhyno.jpgvs.http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/RavenWorld.jpg We know that Raven will face the winner of Paul E's Number One Contender's Tournament. We know that Paul Burchill will be the special guest referee. However, we do not know the match stipulations and that's where you come in. Will it be: A Cage Match, preventing interference from The Nest or A Barbed Wire Deathmatch, one of the most hardcore environments in ECW history? http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/ECWWorldTVTitle.jpg Rob Van Dam vs. Chris Jericho© http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l161/Game-Face/RVDecwchamp.jpgvs.http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l161/Game-Face/ChrisJerichoecwtv.jpg One half of the World Tag Team Champions takes on the World Television Champion with the latter title on the line. Both men's partners, in Shawn Michaels and Christian, have a vested interest in this match due to their respective loyalties. Paul Heyman feels it would be folly to ignore this. Therefore, should it be: A match where everyone other than the competitors involved is banned from ringside, removing the possibilty of interference or A Lumberjack match, in which both men's partners will be involved along with six other lumberjacks, levelling the odds? Jerry Lynn vs. Kurt Angle http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/JerryLynn.jpgvs.http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/KurtAngle.jpg Jerry Lynn has challenged Kurt Angle to a submission match in order to prove what he already believes: that he is the superior wrestler. However, here in ECW, we don't do things by halves and, as such, do not believe that the match stipulations go far enough. Thus, we give you, the fans, the choice between: A 30minute Ultimate Submission match or An "I Quit" match. http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/Generic1.jpg Lance Storm vs. CM Punk© http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/LanceStorm.jpgvs.http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/CMPunkAllAction.jpg Lance Storm earned the right to face CM Punk for the International All Action Title with his win over Jerry Lynn at Baptism Of Fire. However, he is all too aware that Raven's Nest is more than willing to have Punk's back and that Punk will probably try to avoid a fair fight in any way possible. Therefore, he persuaded Paul Heyman to grant you the following options. Will the match be: A Catch-as-Catch-Can match wherein either man leaving the confines of the ring will result in immediate disqualification or A "No Way Out" match in which barbed wire, nails and glass fragments placed around ringside will, hopefully, prevent anyone from getting in or out of the ring? http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/ECWWorldTagTitle.jpghttp://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/ECWWorldTagTitle.jpg Los Increibles vs. The Whole F**kin' Show http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/ReyMysterioWCW.jpghttp://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/JuviGuerreraMask.jpgvs.http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l161/Game-Face/HBKecwchamp.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l161/Game-Face/RVDecwchamp.jpg Los Increibles became Number One Contenders to the World Tag Team Titles with their defeat of Los Guerreros. This match-up is sure to be an aerial based affair. Thus, we have given you the following options to accentuate this situation. Will it be: A Ladder match or A Lucha-Libre Rules match? The Candian Connection vs. ??? vs. ??? http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/CanadaChristian.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l161/Game-Face/ChrisJerichoecwtv.jpgvs.http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/no_picture.jpghttp://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/no_picture.jpgvs.http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/no_picture.jpghttp://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/no_picture.jpg This Three Way Dance will be for the Number One Contendership to the World Tag Team Championship. Thanks to Raven, The Candian Connection are confirmed entrants. However, the other two teams are up to you. Choose two from: Los Guerreros Monsters Inc Crouching Lyger Hidden Dragon The Dudley Boys The Iron Saints and Paul London & Brian Kendrick. Jerry Lynn vs. Kurt Angle http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/KensukeSasaki.jpgvs.http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/MasatoTanaka.jpgvs.http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/SteveCorino.jpg These three have entered into a tense rivalry. They competed in a match on Revolution that became so wild that Jim Molineaux lost control. As such, we're throwing the traditional rulebook out of the window. We are giving you, the fans, the choice between: A Falls Count Anywhere Match or A Last Man Standing match. Bret Hart vs. ??? http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/BretHart.jpgvs.http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/no_picture.jpg Paul Heyman has given you the choice of Bret Hart's next opponent. If The Excellence Of Execution wins, he will get a shot at the World Title. So, choose wisely. Will Bret face: Goliath Abyss or Vito The options that gain the most votes will be present on the official card. O.O.C. Note: Voting will end at GMT 12pm (noon) on Saturday 7 July. Hope you like the options .

I'm Joey Styles alongside arguably the best analyst in the business, Don Callis, and, former World Heavyweight Champion, Taz. Taz: Thanks for the intro, Joey. Le'me tell ya, after how good Baptism Of Fire was, I am so pumped for this one! Callis: Well, that's understandable. You, the fans, booked the matches and, now, you get to see exactly what you voted for! Taz: Yeah but, first, it's your favourite part of the show, Joey. Joey simply raises his eyebrows. Joel Gertner is ready to give his introduction speech. http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/JoelGertner.jpg Gertner: Well, well, well... it looks like ECW has sold out Madison Square Garden! The crowd pops. Gertner: Who'd have thunk it? He pauses as if to think. Gertner: So, I understand that we've got this "interactive" gimmick going down tonight. You fans were able to vote on the match stipulations over the internet. Well, screw your personal computers because you're looking at the man with the biggest HARD DRIVE in New York City! Joey Styles shakes his head in bewilderment. Gertner: That's right, it's me The man with more RAM than any machine And whose tower has more power Than any you've seen! As the crowd cheers, he clears his throat for one last line. Gertner: This one goes out to all the ladies in the house tonight... Joey: Oh, there's a surprise. Gertner: Forget the Cage or Barbed Wire and who Bret will face 'Cos Joel "The Stud" knows of a much better place. Forget the No Way Outs and the Catch-as-Catch-Cans Enter my bedroom if you want a Cyberslam! http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/BretHart.jpgvs.http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/TheGiant.jpg Bret Hart is clearly determined to earn himself a title shot. However, the sheer size of Goliath means that he cannot control this match as he has many others. He wraps the giant in a waistlock, perhaps going for a Belly To Belly Suplex. He cannot lift the monster and pulls off a quick go-behind. He leans backwards attempting a German Suplex but Goliath merely laughs. The giant then makes his first offensive advance, pushing backwards and crushing Hart between his own mass and the ring ropes. Taz: Oh, man, this is gonna be tough on The Hitman! Arrogantly, the giant cooly walks across the chest of the former TV Champion. The agony on Hart's face is clear to see. Goliath covers with his foot. 1...2...kickout. The match continues in a similar fashion. In the fifth minute, Hart rebounds off the ropes and goes for a Shoulder Block. It has no effect on Goliath. He rebounds off the opposite ropes and tries again. Still no effect. Finally, he rebounds again and pulls off a huge Flying Lariat. However, the monster merely catches him by the throat. Giant Chokeslam! Callis: Oh, that's it; Bret's done! 1...2...Chris Kay stops the count. Hart has his foot on the bottom rope. Joey: Now, that just demonstrates the experience and awareness of Bret Hart! Goliath lifts up Hart, attempting another Chokeslam. Hart counters with a kick to the gut. As the giant bends down, clearly winded, Hart hits a DDT. Callis: Goliath is down! Hart follows up by locking him in the Sharpshooter. Goliath starts reeling in obvious pain. Taz: Here we go! Members of the Nest run out. http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/Abyss2.jpghttp://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/VitoThomaselli2.jpg Joey: Oh, and, lo and behlod, here come Raven's lackeys. As Abyss and Vito Climb onto the apron, Goliath uses his quadricep strength to power out of the Sharpshooter. The force of his escape sends Hart flying into the ropes. The Hitman capitalises on the momentum to knock Abyss and Vito off the apron with a Double Clothesline. As Bret threatens the Nest, Goliath comes up behind him and locks in Full Nelson. Bret struggles but cannot break free. Showing a great deal of inginuity, he jumps and pushes off the middle rope with his legs, driving Goliath back down to the canvas. As Bret lands on top, he slips his arms free and hooks Goliath's leg. 1...2...3! Match Rating: B+ Joey: Wow, that came out of nowhere! Callis: Man, Bret Hart is still one of the best wrestlers in the entire industry! Taz: No doubt, Callis, no doubt. After the match, Bret rolls to the outside and makes his escape to avoid an assault not before grabbing a microphone, however. Once at the top of the ramp, he turms to face the Nest. Hart: Hey, boys, you know that saying "safety in numbers"? Well, I've got a small piece of advice... it don't mean sh*t when you're facing someone as good as me. Now, it is time for me to reclaim my position at the very peak of the industry and, whoever wins in the main event tonight, will have the esteemed honour of losing the World Heavyweight Title to the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be! Last Man Standing Match http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/SteveCorino.jpgvs.http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/MasatoTanaka.jpgvs.http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/KensukeSasaki.jpg The match follows a similar pattern to the three men's previous encounter. It is a hardcore spectacle from the get-go. Before long, the match has spilled to the outside. In the eighth minute, Sasaki lifts Corino in a Press Slam and drops him face first onto the steel guard rail. As Corino recoils from the shock, he turns and is greeted by a Roaring Elbow by Tanaka. The two Japanese stars continue is counted out. Taz: ...8...9...10. Corino's gone. Callis: Yeah, the two Japanese powerhouses combine to take out Corino and now these bulls are gonna lock horns. As the brawl continues, Tanaka lands a punch to the abdomen. He follows up with a Brainbuster onto the concrete. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Somehow, Sasaki begins to stir but Tanaka starts to put the boots in before he can return to his feet. He then picks him up, looking for an STO but another fist fight ensues. In the thirteenth minute, Sasaki hits Tanaka with a stiff chair shot that echoes around the arena. However, Tanaka seems to absorb the blow and clenches his fist in rage. Sasaki tries again but it has similarly little effect. Out of nowhere, Tanaka floors Sasaki with a Roaring Elbow. Joey: This may be it. Instead of waiting for the count, tanaka lifts his adversary and hits a DDT on the concrete. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Sasaki starts to stir. Looking frustrated, Tanaka picks him up for another DDT but this one is reversed... Northern Lights Bomb! Sasaki picks Tanaka straight up and positions the chair under his throat. He then throws it downwards into the floor, seemingly crushing Tanaka's larynx in the process. The count is inevitable. sasaki wins by knockout. Match Rating: B+ The Whole F**kin' Show are backstage. http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l161/Game-Face/RVDecwchamp.jpghttp://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/TracyBrooks2.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l161/Game-Face/HBKecwchamp.jpg Traci: Tonight, guys, is the night that get our s*t together once and for all! Michaels: ...and from where I'm standing, there ain't no way that you're walking out of here without the World Television Title! RVD: Yeah... The three of them all touch fists and RVD kisses Traci before they head out of the locker room. This is exactly what happens in a hard fought tag team spectacle. In the ninth minute, D-Von whips Chavoi nto the corner. He then teams up with Bubba to whip Eddie into his brother. As both Guerreros are piled in the corner, D-Von runs and hits a Corner Clothesline on Eddie, driving him backwards into his nephew. Bubba then follows up with a Reverse Avalanche. Taz: Oh, Los Guerreros will be feeling that for weeks! As Eddie falls forwards, D-Von makes the cover. 1...2...kickout! At this point, the Candians have the audacity to set up two chairs and merely sit and watch the action. Joey: Oh wha the hell are these jerks doing? Bubba whips Chavo to the ropes. D-Von, now standing, goes to lift him. Callis: The Dudley Death Drop may be in order. However, Chavo kicks D-Von squarely in the groin. As Bubba goes to avenge his partner, he is clubbed in the back by Eddie who quickly follows up with the boots. Los Guerreros ascend opposite turnbuckles. Simultaneous Frog Splashes! But both D-Von and Bubba get their knees up. Taz: Well, that didn't go according to plan. Bubba and D-Von then rise and nod at each other. They roll out of opposite sides of the ring and each slide a table into the ring. They re-enter and pummel Los Guerreros, who are now stirring, back to the floor. They set up one table. D-Von picks up Chavo and whips him. 3D through the table! Taz: Damn, The Dudleys utilising the trusty woodwork. Instead of making the cover, Bubba climbs the turnbuckle as D-Von sets up the other table. D-Von then lifts Eddie onto Bubba's shoulders. Spike Powerbomb through the table! 1...2...3! Callis: The Dudleys get the... Oh, what the hell? The Canadian Connection, thoroughly rested, storm the ring and take out the Dudleys from behind. Bubba and D-Von are now fairly easy pickings. Joey: Come on, this isn't right! Taz: As much as I agree, Joey, they had a plan and they pulled it off. Christian hits the Unprettier on D-Von. 1...2...Bubba breaks the pin. Jericho takes out Bubba from behind, though. Christian now takes out Bubba with the same move. Jericho runs, rebounds off teh ropes and hits a Lionsault that connects with both Dudleys. Both Canadians make the cover on either opponent. 1...2...3! Match Rating: B Callis: Well, that was a surprisingly easy task for Christian and Jericho thanks to some rather underhanded tactics. The Connection make their way to the back with huge smiles on their faces. Kurt Angle is backstage for a shoot promo. http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/KurtAngle.jpg Angle: Jerry Lynn, we all heard you give what sounded like a very heart felt promo a few weeks ago. You said with such passion that you were a better wrestler than me and that you'd prove it tonight. The only problem is that you were wrong... on both counts. Jerry, you may be one of the most prolific jobbers in the history of the industry but that's all you are. You've made a career out of propping up the undercard and, frankly, you don't have what it takes to do anything else. As for tonight, this ain't a dark match, Jerry, and this ain't the indies. This is ECW Cyberslam, I am Kurt angle and you... will say "I quit"! Ladder Match http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/ECWWorldTagTitle.jpghttp://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/ECWWorldTagTitle.jpg http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l161/Game-Face/RVDecwchamp.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l161/Game-Face/HBKecwchamp.jpgvs.http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/ReyMysterioWCW.jpghttp://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/JuviGuerreraMask.jpg This match is the fast-paced, aerial affair that one would expect. In the tenth minute, two ladders are set up in the centre of the ring beneath the title belts. RVD climbs one ladder, Rey Mysterio climbs the other. Shawn Michaels and Juventud Guerrera clearly have similar ideas. Michaels rebounds off the ropes as Juvi does the same on the opposite side of the ring. Michaels hits a perfect Dropkick on the ladder which Rey Mysterio is on. At the exact same time, Juvi lands a Spinning Wheel Kick on RVD's ladder. The two ladders wobble but their knocking into each other seems to steady them again. However, it is enough to knock both RVD and Mysterio off balance. Each of them, rather than falling, is able to hop across to the other ladder. Joey: Wow, what balance... Callis: ...by both of them. RVD and Mysterio continue to climb as Michaels and Juvi apprehend one another on the canvas. Michaels boots Juvi in the gut and follows up with an Arm Wringer. However, Juvi falls to the canvas and flips back up to reverse the pressure. The luchador finishes the counter by whipping Michaels. Meanwhile, atop the ladders, RVD hooks up Mysterio for a Vertical Suplex. Taz: Oh, man, this could be crazy! However, Michaels reverses Juvi's Irish Whip and accidentally forces him into the base of RVD's ladder. The momentum, causes RVD to lose his balance and fall forward. Rey Mysterio's head remains under RVD's arm as Van Dam flips over, resulting in a makeshift Northern Lights Suplex by Rey. Joey: OH MY GOD! Michaels realises he is the only man left standing and sets up a ladder. However, his climb is interrupted at the half-way mark. By the eighteenth minute, all four men are suffering from fatigue. Guerrera hits Michaels with a Juvi Driver. He then sets up a ladder and starts to climb; RVD realises and climbs the other side. In what seems to be a bid to back up his partner, Rey Mysterio sets up a second ladder and climbs up alongside Juvi. Michaels, only just recovering, starts to climb the second ladder too, directly behind/below Mysterio. RVD and Juvi reach the top. Juvi lands a haymaker on RVD that stuns him but does not knock him off the ladder. However, he does not reach for the belts. Instead, he sees Michaels tailing Mysterio. In an incredible display of agility, he jumps off his ladder past Rey Mysterio, rotating his body in the process, flips forward and hits a Sunset Flip Powerbomb on Michaels. Taz: Holy sh*t! Although this means Michaels is no longer tailing Mysterio, the luchadore's ladder starts to shake. RVD capitalises, simply pushing the top of the it. As the ladder topples, Mysterio goes flying down, over the ring ropes and to the concrete floor at ringside. *An "ECW" chant begins* RVD, now all alone at the top, merely reaches up and pulls down the belts. Match Rating: A After the match, the fans go nuts as Traci joins Michaels and RVD in the ring to celebrate. No Way Out Match http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/Generic1.jpg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/CMPunk.jpgvs.http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/LanceStorm.jpg The match is a very even contest as both mens' styles clearly compliment each other. However, by the twelfth minute, Storm has locked in a Single Leg Crab. Callis: This could be it. We could have a new International All Action Champion! Members of the Nest again come to make a save. http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/Abyss2.jpghttp://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/VitoThomaselli2.jpg Storm breaks his hold in order to defend himself. However, there was no need as Vito and Abyss can find no way past the shards of glass and barbed wire. The distraction allows Punk to land a lowblow from behind, though. Suddenly, the masked man appears with a chair. http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/MaskMan.jpg Abyss and Vito are trapped and are decimated by the dark figure. Meanwhile, in the ring, both champion and challenger rise to their feet. Punk gets storm in a Side Headlock. However, Storm breaks the hold by forcing Punk to the ropes. Punk rebounds looking for a Shoulder Block but Storm leapfrogs him. Punk continues to run and rebounds again off the opposite ropes. As he does so, Storm performs a split-legged dropdown. Punk scouts it and performs a Legdrop to the back of Storm's head. As Storm rises, stunned, Punk hits the GTS. 1...2...3! Match Rating: B+ As Punk celebrates his victory, Goliath and Burchill come out. http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/TheGiant.jpghttp://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/PaulBurchill.jpg It is the masked man who is now trapped and beaten down in a 2-on-1 assault. Burchill grabs him by the mask and goes to pull it off as Goliath cheers him on. Suddenly, the lights cut out. When they come back on, the masked man has vanished. I Quit Match http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/JerryLynn.jpgvs.http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/KurtAngle.jpg Both men start the match looking determined to prove a point. They pace around the perimeter of the ring, staring each other down. Suddenly, Angle darts forward looking for a waistlock but Lynn dodges to his left. Angle snaps around to avoid a rear attack and the pacing continues. Joey: Neither man seems certain at this point. Taz: Well, Joey, these are two of the absolute best. You can't afford to make any mistakes. Angle can be seen to mouth something at Lynn. Lynn, clearly taking offense charges forward. However, Angle sidesteps and pushes Lynn from behind to increase his momentum so that he flies over the top rope to ringside. Callis: Well, that's uncharacteristic from Lynn, right there. Joey: Yeah, one would think that his years of experience would tell him to stay cool. As Angle screams "Yeah" and taunts the crowd, Lynn composes himself and re-enters the ring. The stare down resumes. After a few seconds, Lynn again charges Angle. Kurt makes for a Belly To Belly Overhead Suplex. Lynn sees it coming and slides between Angle's legs. He hooks his arm back around to roll his opponent up in a Schoolboy pin. As it is an I Quit match, John Finnegan cannot count the fall but the crowd chant along. "1...2...3!" Kurt kicks out just after three. Callis: What the hell was that about? He can't win by pinfall. Taz: I think that's Jerry just tring to get into the head of Kurt Angle. As Taz says this, Lynn points to his head to tell Angle he outsmarted him while mouthing "I had you". Angle, clearly pissed, charges forward wildly. Lynn sidesteps and returns the earlier favour, throwing Angle clean over the rope. Joey: Haha, it worked too. Taz: Yeah, a match like this as much mental as physical. After Angle returns to the ring, the match continues as an even contest. In the twelfth minute, Angle hooks Lynn up in a Tree Of Woe in the corner. He grabs a chair and a microphone and bends down to Lynn's face level. Angle: Say it, ass hole, admit that I'm better than you! Lynn: Hahahaha, f**k you! Angle positions the chair over Lynn's face. He then backs into the opposite corner, runs and hits a Basement Dropkick. Taz: Damn, that's gotta hurt! Joey: To say the least. Angle continues to control the match for the next five minutes. However, after whipping Lynn to the ropes, the dynamic one comes back with a Dropkick. No, Kurt catches it... and keeps hold of his foot to apply the Amkle Lock. Lynn writhes in agony as Angle signal for the ref to ask him. Finnegan grabs a microphone and bends down to Lynn's level. Finnegan: What do you say, son? Lynn says nothing, merely continuing to scream in pain. However, he suddenly snaps round, rolling onto his back so that he can kick Angle away. Joey: Lynn breaks the Ankle Lock! Angle rushes forward to reapply the hold but Lynn rolls under his grasp. After getting to his feet, Lyn proceeds to hobble a few paces. Angle sees the opportunity, rushing forward with a Clothesline. Lynn ducks underneath and pulls the top rope down. Again, Angle hits the ringside floor. After rolling back in he immediately whips Lynn to the ropes. As he rebounds, Angle bends down for a Back Body Drop but Lynn rolls over his back. Lynn then rebounds off the opposite ropes. Kurt drops down, allowing Lynn to rebound for a third time. However, he instead leaps up to the top rope and springboards off, hitting a Moonsault Body Press. As Angle gathers himself, Lynn takes a bow to a standing ovation. Angle, again pissed, charges Lynn but is greeted with a Drop Toe Hold that leaves him hanging on the middle rope. In lightning time, Lynn bounds up the turnbuckle. He jumps off to the outside, catching Angle with a Guillotine Legdrop that forces him the rest of the way through the ropes. Both men are down on the outside. Callis: Wow, Lynn is on fire. Lynn is the first to roll back in and he waits for Angle to do the same. However, when the Oympian stands he does not re-enter and just takes a microphone. Angle: You know what, Jerry? I Quit! Callis: What the hell? Taz: My thoughts exactly. Lynn looks confused as Angle continues. Angle: I'm not at my best tonight and this proves nothing! Angle slams the mic down and heads to the back. Match Rating: B Joey: This is pathetic, a grown man throwing his toys out of the pram! As Joey says this, Lynn chases after Angle and the Olympian makes a hasty escape. Raven is backstage. http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/RavenWorld.jpg Raven: All around me I can hear whispers... voices that say I will lose tonight; voices that say that, without the help of my Nest, I cannot succeed. One small child outside the arena even had the audacity to ask if I was afraid. What about me? What about Raven? I need never be afraid because I learned long ago that courage is merely trepidation that has said its prayers. Or, at least, that is true in all cases but one. You see, I have no need to pray because no higher being predetermines my fate; I am the maker of my own destiny and, tonight, that destiny is to leave as I entered: the ECW World Heavyweight Champion. So it is written; so it shall come to pass. Quote The Raven Nevermore Before the next match, the lumberjacks are revealed http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l161/Game-Face/HBKecwchamp.jpghttp://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/CanadaChristian.jpg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/JushinThunderLyger.jpghttp://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/UltimoDragon.jpghttp://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/TommyDreamer.jpghttp://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/Tajiri.jpghttp://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/ChristopherDaniels.jpghttp://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/Sabu2.jpg Joey: Wow, those are some stellar lumberjacks. Taz: I guess Paul E wants this to go down without a hitch. A Lumberjack Match http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/ECWWorldTVTitle.jpg http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l161/Game-Face/ChrisJerichoecwtv.jpgvs.http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l161/Game-Face/RVDecwchamp.jpg The two spend a little time squaring each other up. Joey: Chris Jericho defends his TV Title against Rob Van Dam. This is as good as it gets anywhere in wrestling, folks. Suddenly, RVD falls backwards, rebounds off the ropes and hits a thunderous Wheel Kick! Callis: Well, it looks like this match is well and truly under way! Taz: Oh, man, you gotta watch out for those feet of Van Dam! RVD then attempts a Lionsault, as if to mock the champion, but Jericho moves out of the way. Callis: Maybe RVD's getting a little too c0cky. Jericho tries to lock in the walls of Jericho early. RVD is able to block it but Jericho, instead, catapults him into the turnbuckle. As RVD recovers from the initial stun, Jericho charges, hitting a clothesline that sends the challenger over the ropes to the floor. RVD is greeted by a sea of punches but Michaels is, eventually, able to buy him enough time to roll back in. Joey: Well, it looks like Jericho's got the early advantage. Jericho picks up RVD as he re-enters and attempts a Powerbomb which is reversed into a Hurricanrana. 1...2...kickout! Leaving Jericho no time for recovery, Van Dam hits a Rolling Thunder. 1...2...kickout! RVD then leaps leaps to the top rope and waits for Jericho to stand. Flying Superkick! 1...2...kickout! Taz: Oh, man, Jericho's gonna have to do something pretty soon! Callis: True, Taz. He's in kinds of trouble. The challenger then mounts Jericho and hits some Crossface Blows. He then gets to his feet and hits a Legdrop to the back of the Canadian's neck. He lifts Jericho to his feet and whips him to the corner. He goes for a Turnbuckle Shoulder Charge but Jericho is able to trap him in a Front Facelock. The champion climbs backwards up the ropes. Tornado DDT! 1...2...kickout! Taz: Wow, this is awesome already! The match continues as an evenly contested battle with frequent intervention from the lumberjacks. In the tthirteenth minute, RVD again traps Jericho in the corner and, this time, is able to lay in the boots until he is sitting againts the bottom buckle. Michaels chucks him a chair. Skateboard Dropkick! 1...2... Christian enters the ring and breaks up the fall. Joey: Oh, what the hell? Michaels enters too, forceably removes Christian and a spontaneous brawl starts amongst the lumberjacks on the outside. Meanwhile RVD climbs the turnbuckles. Five Star Frog Splash... no, Jericho gets his knees up. Both competitors are laid out, exhausted, as the chaos on the outside continues. Upon returning to their feet, Jericho whips RVD into the corner. RVD jumps straight up to the top and flips backwards over Jericho. Jericho then runs forward up the buckle to the second rope and jumps, turning to hit a Cross Body on the challenger. 1...2... RVD rolls through. 1...2...kickout. Both men back off before RVD charges and hits a Sunset Fip. 1...2... Jericho inverses the weight and rolls RVD onto his shoulders. 1...2... RVD returns the gesture. 1...2... Jericho rolls sideways to, again, inverse the weight. 1...2...kickout! Joey: Wow. As both men rise, Jericho floors Van Dam with a kick to the groin. Callis: Oh, come on. The champion follows up with a Lionsault. However, amidst the pandamoneum that continues at ringside, Michaels is able to slip onto the apron undetected by Christian. As Jericho springboards for the Lionsault, Michaels Superkicks him off the ropes. Callis: Oh, just like on Monday! As Christian apprehends Michaels, RVD springs to the toprope. Five Star Frog Splash! 1...2...3! Match Rating: A* Joey: We have a new World Television Champion! Taz: Yeah, baby! Callis: Go Van Dam! The camera cuts backstage to Rhino. http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/Rhyno.jpg He is pacing up and down the locker room. When an official tells him the main event is about to start, he beats his chest and punches the wall to psyche himself up. As he leaves the room, the camera zooms in on the wall. His punch has actually dislodged a substantial amount of plaster. Before the match, Paul Burchill is intoduced as the special referee. http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/PaulBurchill.jpg Steel Cage Match http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/ECWWorldTitle.jpg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/RavenWorld.jpgvs.http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/Rhyno.jpg There is no initial stare down this time; both men come out ready to fight Raven immediatley makes his tactics known, hitting Rhino with an eye rake. However, it barely affects the Man Beast who answers with a knee to Raven's gut. The champion hits the challenger with a stiff right arm The challenger follows suit and a trading of blows ensues. Joey: You don't want to go two to two with the Man Beast. He'll eat you alive! Rhino hits Raven with a huge left hand and follows up with a knife edge chop. A faint "Woo" chant is heard from the crowd. The champion is stomped on repeatedly and then brought up to standing. Rhino whips him to the corner and pummels him repeatedly in the chest and shoulders. The champion is thrown to the other turnbuckle like a rag doll. The Man Beast charges but Douglas puts his foot up. Joey: Oh, reversal! Raen whips Rhino to the ropes and goes for a clothesline but Rhino ducks underneath. Rhino bounces off the opposite ropes... He comes back... GORE! Taz: Oh, man. This could be it! 1...2... Burchill stops the count. Callis: Oh, what the... As Rhino rises to contest, Burchill nudges Raven's foot so that it is leaning against the rope. Burchill points to raven's limb shouting "rope break". Rhino doesn't buy it and backs Burchill into the corner. However, Raven, just stirring, hits a lowblow from behind on Rhino. Raven then drags Rhino to his feet and hits a clothesline that drives him into the corner. He follows up by raking the challenger's face against the steel mesh. However, in a great show of strenghth, Rhino elbows Raven in the gut, forcing him half way across the ring. He stalks teh champion and hits an irish whip but, no, Raven reverses it... Rhino bounces off the ropes and comes back with another Gore! However, Raven is able to dodge this one and Rhino flies in to the steel. The champion covers. 1.2.kickout! Callis: That's the fastest count I've ever seen! Joey: Well, did you honestly expect Burchill to be impartial? Rhino clambers to his feet; Raven is waiting. Raven Effect! 1.2.Rhino powers out, again, flinging Raven across half the ring! Taz: Wow, Rhino powers his way out of the Raven Effect, even with a fast count! Raven looks frustrated. He hooks Rhino up again Raven Effect! 1.2.kickout! Taz: This is crazy! As Rhino staggers to his feet again, Bucrhill charges and hits a Big Boot. Callis: Oh, this is ridiculous. Burchill pulls Rhino to his feet. C-4! Raven, again, makes the cover. 1.2.kickout! Taz: Oh, what the f**k? Rhino has gotta be the toughest son of a bitch alive! Raven, desperate, has a word with Burchill. He then locks Rhino in a Spinning Toe Hold. Without even waiting for the faintest response, Burchill calls for the bell, citing a submission from the Man Beast. Match Rating: A Joey: Oh this is just too much! Rhino never tapped out! Callis slams down his headset in disgust. Suddenly, The masked man appears at the entrance-way with a chair in hand. http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/MaskMan.jpg Joey: Finally, someone who might bring some order... some justice! The masked man decimates the Nest with the chair as he has done on several ocassions. After laying them out, he shows no concern for Rhino and sprints towards the ring. Burchill rushes to lock the door again but he is too slow. The masked man enters the cage as both Raven and Burchill back away. Joey: Just look at those cowards. Suddenly, the masked man drops the chair to make it a fair fight and signals for Raven to bring it. Raven, realising he has little choice, steps forward. Taz: Here we go! However, the masked man makes no attempt to attack the champion. He merely signals for Raven to turn around. The champion does so. Burchill hits the C-4 on Raven! Joey: What? Burchill and the masked man lay the boots into Raven as the fans go nuts. The masked man then raises Burchill's hand. Joey: Hang on a second... we still don't know who it is under that mask! Taz: I think we're gonna find out, Joey. As Taz says this, Burchill reaches across to pull off his apparent partner's mask. The masked man puts up no fight. It's Shane Douglas. http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/charliepag/ShaneDouglas.jpg Joey: My god, it's The Franchise! Taz: Wow, Shane Douglas is back. Joey: Yeah but what the hell does this mean?
