Captain Kayfabe
Does the success and defeat in angles mean anything if the participants aren't in a storyline together? Should I just leave it at neutral? I'm not sure, but I believe that it will still affect their momentum. I could be wrong though...
Blackman
It doesn't. Otherwise I can only imagine the exploits... Well, it affects their storyline momentum. But that's just a cosmetic value for the player to see who is getting dominated too much. There's a thread for small questions stickied. More likely to get an answer there. Scott Zodiac
Does the success and defeat in angles mean anything if the participants aren't in a storyline together? Should I just leave it at neutral? It is for storyline purposes. If you look at your workers in the storyline tab, you will see his/her success level. This does nothing in game except tell you who is ‘winning’ a feud. Usually have the baby face being beating down with the heel ahead before they make their comeback at a PPV. Derek B
Success / Defeat in angles affects momentum directly (and has done since at least TEW13 from memory), specifically short term momentum, which is also affected by your booking in matches... long term momentum is a different thing that moves more slowly and slowly moves towards the short term momentum rating. The rating we all see is the long term value, which is why it can look like someone you are giving a bunch of wins to isn't moving at all... while the new toy you just signed is gaining rapidly. I'm pretty sure this is covered in the handbook somewhere, which is always good to have a read through and can be located on the top right of each screen by clicking the question mark icon.
