Ollie Beak Posted July 2, 2006 Author Share Posted July 2, 2006 Right, I've been insanely busy the last few days, and haven't even been able to open up WreSpi to work on this, I also have another 2 days where I'll be busy as I have my induction day[s] to my sixth form (an all girls school - get in!) tomorrow and tuesday, and so I won't really have much time to work on this until Wednesday. But then I promise I'll be working non-stop for those three days to try and get some kind of basic Beta out this time next week, because you guys need this majorly! I'm gonna have around 200 workers for the first Beta, which'll be WWE, ECW, TNA and a few indie / free agent guys, so at least something can be made playable. Movesets will still be very basic, and I expect a lot of them will be generic movesets, but at least it'll be playable! A million thank yous to Vladamire, as he really puleld out all the stops to help. The same amount of thanks go to kingofleon, who has done almost as many wrestlers as me! But good luck with this Ollie, and thanks for going to the effort, I can't wait to eb able to use a real world game. I'll make sure to check this thread over the next week or so. Incidentally, I've recently become a bit of a fan for CHIKARA Pro Wrestling, so maybe once I've bought the game & gotten used to the editor I could help add in those guys like Ultra Mantis Black, 'Sweet & Sour' Larry Sweeny, Delirious & all the other vibrant characters they have their! Fanku Kaibutsu, as I understand it, the best guarantee to get Japanese feds into the mod would be to research them & edit the data for this mod. Stats, movesets, anything you can offer to the project will be a massive help. :) Especially stats (as a worker can be assigned a default moveset without too much trouble). Ollie might release a beta like many of the other mod makers if he feels like it, but that's totally up to him. On the other hand, I'm almost done with the move data. I'm thinking of copying the movesets from the CV over once I'm done to make sure they'll jive with my data without any errors, then do a quick glance through to make sure I rid it totally of CV references, make sure all the moves are set to "Signature: none", and that the ones I converted to generics don't possess commentary that mentions their former CV name, then ship it off to Panix and Ollie. i'm a bit at a loss as to what I'll do then.
