lzylghtn Posted July 5, 2021 Share Posted July 5, 2021 sorry for the dumb question. I am not super savy on computers. I don't play games, other than starting this one a week ago. When I purchased it, it came with version 1.09 I downloaded the v1.13 patch. I unzipped it. I 'think' I dragged it over to the original download. yet... I still get the pop up box that version 1.33 is available & do I want to continue. It also always asks me to log in as administrator, which I do, but is there a way to just set that as my normal way to log in to the game? thanks so much for any & all help. This game seems so great. Adam Ryland Posted July 5, 2021 Share Posted July 5, 2021 I don't know if you've made a repeated typo, but 1.13 isn't the latest version, 1.33 is. It's available in the technical support forum. There are installation instructions in that thread. You can see if you've successfully installed it by looking at the bar at the top of the screen when running the game, the version number is displayed there. If it doesn't say 1.33, it hasn't been successful - usually because the user didn't remember to close TEW before attempting to apply the patch. You can permanently put the game in administrator mode by right clicking on the shortcut and selecting Properties > Advanced and ticking Run As Administrator.
