tinydotsnz Posted November 10, 2021 Share Posted November 10, 2021 Having an unranked fighter call-out the champion, having the champion respond and then having that challenge go nuclear is really weird especially when the champion starts going on a winning streak versus the unranked fighter going on a losing streak and I'm still getting emails that the champion wants the fight and then when I put the fight together to shut them up I get a -12% to my credibility because of an undeserving challenger lmao Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There's nothing weird about some dude hitting a soft spot with the champion which takes them on some sort of social media rivalry. Whether or not the fight happens is up to you - and as you mention you get a cred penalty for making it happen - but a 'nuclear' feud itself can happen between anybody, regardless of rank. If a champ gets blasted by some unranked fighter they'd definitely be willing that fight. Just not the promotor.
