Canadian_Destroyer
Ok, so my finisher is the Destroyer Piledriver AKA NWATNA's Petey Williams Canadian Destroyer (hence the name). No matter how weakened I have my opponent, and how strong I am (I'm fighting complete jobbers in SWF w/ no stamina and strength) But I can never hit the move. Also, it seems every move I use is 9 times outta 10 countered or blocked, while my opponent hits the move every time. Please help...thanx
Canadian_Destroyer
Well it wasn't great when I was doing my Rookie To Legend Mode. So to see if it was just my wrestler I created a guy w/ Almost perfect stats, and modified the Destroyer to make it 40% frequency and 99% success rate, I'm still unable to hit it, even with the Wrestling Spirit. Again, with 90s in speed, technical and power. It just doesn't seem to work out if I'm a main eventer fighting a jobber, and the match is going 45 minutes, and he kicks out after a Destroyer or block it for that matter, but his ankle lock is unbreakable. Adam Ryland
If you have it at 40% frequency, even with the most favourable stats for the opponent, it can only go down to around 30%, so you're looking at hitting it around 1 in 3 attempts. The fact it's being blocked a lot doesn't mean anything - that's the main counter to it, so if you don't hit it that's what the opponent automatically gets to do. You've misunderstood that that doesn't mean he is stopping you from attempting the move, it means you attempted it, didn't hit it, and that's the counter that he happened to use. Canadian_Destroyer
Another quick question...If I create a Finisher, if I give the finisher multiple escapes, will i Have a better chance on hitting the move or are they more likely to be blocked? Adam Ryland
Neither, the amount of counters has no relevance whatsoever.
Payne
Man, I know this problem. I usually try to hit any of my finishers about 15-20 times in any given match. Usually, I just pin after reversing a move with an easy hit finisher, i.e.:Running Big Boot, which I can hit just about anytime. But, I usually need to hit it about 5 or 6 six times to get a count. I don't think using a move repeatedly helps the match rating, so this is why I can never get over a B, I think.
