kanegan
Attendance: 1138 @ Massena Arena, New York, Views: 3088 Kal Jak vs Juicy Finau A hoss fight started the show as the Grizzly faced off against the Savage. It was two big beefy dudes slapping the hell out of each other until Finau decided to slap in the Coquina Clutch and Jak faded away. Grade: 27 2 Cold Scorpio/Dante Leon vs IronBeast vs Ugly Ducklings The official debut match for the team of Scorpio and his protege Dante Leon and they showed their smooth moves and co-ordination going toe to toe with the more established teams, and even pulling off the win when Scorpio hit the 450 Splash on Shane Mercer. Grade: 34 Injustice vs Young , Dumb N Broke Finally all members of the Injustice came together and the unfortunate victims were YDB. Tankman was the wrecker-in-chief, throwing the opponents like ragdolls and the Heavyweight Hustle also put in the finishing touch with a Tankman Driver over Charlie Tiger. Grade: 33 Post match, Injustice cuts a scathing promo as to how they are the new power players in GCW landscape and they are gonna take over every available title, one by one. GCW Streaming Stars Inter-Gender Title Cardonas © vs Paxx Americana After overcoming the Kirks, the champs had to face another indie favorite intergender tag team in Paxx Americana. Young and Sheik went even more intensive than the previous opponents and Matt and Chelsea bled within the first 5 minutes of the match. Chelsea kicked out of a Death Valley Driver from Sheik before Matt went chair happy on Young, busting his back and putting a dent on the chair. A Rough Ryder followed and Cardonas had overcome yet another dangerous team. Cardonas make defense #4 of GCW Streaming Stars Inter-Gender Title. Grade: 40 GCW Women's Diaspora Title Trish Adora © vs Kris Statlander It was Galaxy's Greatest Alien who came out as the latest challenger in the Trish vs AEW series. She presented a much tougher challenge than the previous wrestlers, starting off with two powerslams that took Trish by surprise. From there, both presented a hard hitting match with Trish employing corner shoulder blocks, chops and running boots while Statlander had a more diverse moveset, hitting a standing moonsault, axe kick and a running senton but in the end, Adora dodged out of the Area 451 before hitting the Lariat Tubman for the win. Trish Adora make defense #4 of GCW Diaspora Women's Title. Grade: 49 GCW World Title Mask vs Title Match Jon Moxley © vs Captain Gamechanger Captain hit a tope suicida as Moxley was making his entrance and brawled with Moxley through the crowd. When they finally got to the ring, Moxley hit a release German suplex and a vertical suplex to take control. A chopping duel followed with Moxley coming back with a boot and clawing away at Captain's face and then backdropped him to the floor. Captain sent Moxley to the floor, then came off the top rope with a crossbody that sent Moxley through the time keeper’s table. Both made it back to the ring, and Captain blocked the lariat attempt from Mox and countered with a modified Angle slam, then kicked in Moxley’s head. He hit the frog splash for two, then locked in a crossface. Moxley countered the crossface with a cradle for two, then hit the King Kong lariat for another two count and then finally hit the Paradigm Shift for the win. It was a hard hitting and emotional match as Moxley could almost feel his title slipping away on a couple of occassions. Jon Moxley makes defense #3 of the GCW World title. Grade: 65 After that match, only one task was left and that was unmasking this entity who had been causing havoc in the past few weeks. Moxley asked for the ground staff to come and grab his hands. He had a sinister smile on his face as he unmasked Captain Gamechanger and he was shocked and the whole crowd was shocked as it was none other than, Johnny Hennigan (or any other name)!!! kanegan
Attendance: 1000@ Fairmont Hotel Regency Ballroom, Views: 3955 Myron Reed vs Tre' Lamar Lamar was returning to GCW after being on a fantastic run in BLP and Beyond but he was up against the young G.O.A.T who was having a resurgence in GCW. We got a hot opening match but it was Reed who picked up the victory with a Sky Walker. Grade: 44 GCW Diaspora Women's Title Trish Adora © vs Athena Everybody waited to see the challenger and it turned out to be the recently released wrestler (f.k.a Ember Moon), Athena. Now this was a hard challenge and Athena was coming on the back of winning the Warrior Wrestling Women's Championship against Thunder Rosa. So, she had momentum on her side and we got a very good match. Trish managed to hit her Lariat twice but on the first occasion, Athena managed to get a rope break while she shocked everybody by kicking out of the next. A couple of hard-hitting blows followed from both women but Athena managed to hit a backbreaker on Trish before she went for her beautiful-looking O-Face top rope stunner and hits it perfectly to become only the second champion, ending the reign of Trish. Athena wins the GCW Women's Diaspora Title. Grade: 47 GCW Tag Team Title Pretty Boy Killers © vs Souljas This was one of the most awaited match of the card, champion vs champion. We got a lot of cool spots with Mack's standing moonsault, Swann's plethora of kicks, Lee's power game and Taylor's normal badassery but Lee's Spirit Bomb put an end after he ducked a jumping knee from Swann. Pretty Boy Killers make defense #3 of the GCW Tag Team titles Grade: 52 GCW Ultraviolent Title Cage of Glass Match AJ Gray © vs Calvin Tankman We had two heavy-hitting hybrid fighters ready to kill each other with stiff shots, unexpected agility and glass panels. Gray couldn’t just smash down and throw about Tankman. The lariat wasn’t working and Tankman was just overpowering and wrecking him. As the match went on, Tankman pissed off Gray and that would be his downfall. Gray was hitting harder and taking risks as Gray bust out the high-flying stuff we’ve seen him try to repress. Hell, he even pulled out a Whisper in the Wind. These two were kicking out of murder shots and throwing the deadliest of hits. It was an incredible match and a whole ton of fun to watch. When the world’s best lariat hit, everyone was rocked as Tankman had taken three of those monsters. AJ Gray make defense #4 of GCW Ultraviolent Title. Grade: 47 GCW Extreme Title Shane "Swerve" Strickland © vs AR Fox Swerve shoved Fox, who returned the favor. They traded forearm strikes. Fox got the better of it and then threw a big chop in the corner. Swerve came back and dropkicked a seated Fox. A short time later, Swerve targeted left knee of Fox and put him down with a dragon screw leg whip. Swerve hit two suicide dives. He went for a third, but Fox avoided it and hit one of his own. Fox performed a Poison Rana off the apron shortly. Back inside the ring, both men traded strikes. Fox set up for a Cobra Clutch suplex, but Swerve fought his way out of it. He performed a German suplex and followed up with a rolling Flatliner. Fox came back briefly, but Strickland cut him off and performed the JML Driver before scoring the clean pin. Shane "Swerve" Strickland makes defense #3 of GCW Extreme Title. Grade:

kanegan
Attendance: 800@ Fairmont Hotel Regency Ballroom, Views: 3585 2 Cold Scorpio/Dante Leon vs Jack Cartwheel/Nick Wayne The mentor-protege duo of Scorpio and Leon first tagged in GCW Astronaut and too everyone's surprise even pulled off a win. They continued to surprise as they picked up yet another win with Scorpio defying his advancing age and hitting the 450 on Wayne. Grade: 33 Alex Colon vs Zodiac Zodiac who was famous in AJPW had been convinced for one last appearance on the ring and he came to some good pops, his trademark face paint enticing reactions from the crowd. He came out spitting venom and had no respect for Colon. Alex took a multitude of nasty chops, weight belt whips, and chokes as Zodiac showed no mercy. In the end though, Colon won as he showed better IQ and kept finding counters, finally hitting the Colon Driver Grade: 34 Singles Match Cinta de Oro vs Ninja Mack This was a big one. The former NXT Tag champion and one half of the Lucha Dragons, Sin Cara now going by the name Cinta de Oro, a pioneer in the world of lucha was taking on the newest superstar and one of the first gaijin signees of NOAH in 2 years, Ninja Mack. What happens when two ridiculously fast and creative wrestlers meet? They went all-out and it paid off. Although it broke down into a spotfest which tired the crowd but it earned it's position in the card. Cinta de Oro won this one. Grade: 27 Singles Match Alex Zayne vs Gringo Loco The producer of this event would not be left off the card, would he?? And he made sure that he gets a big opponent for himself as Alex Zayne came down the ring. His tag team partner was getting a shot at the Extreme title and he was here to show that he was equally deserving of the same. This was similar to the last match but with two competitors at the top of their game, this was a much better watch. Crowd gasped when Zayne kicked off a vicious springboard Gringo Cutter which Loco thought had brought him the win but it was Zayne who built the momentum faster and executed his 630 to perfection. Grade: 43 GCW Extreme Title Shane "Swerve" Strickland © vs Blake Christian Swerve was putting in lot of work for the weekend. Last night, he put down AR Fox in a hard fought and physically exhausting match and he was back tonight for another defense of his Extreme title against Christian. Zayne had already won his match, can Christian do the same? Christian's Fosbury Flop to DDT maneuver was always a hit and it garnered the loudest response of the night so far when he delivered it to Swerve on a chair. Christian even managed to break out a Frankensteiner from the top rope. Swerve had enough and he started bringing the big hits, the overhead kick, the springboard double foot stomp which almost killed Christian and finally two JML Drivers saw Swerve retain. Shane "Swerve" Strickland makes defense #4 of GCW Extreme Title. Grade: 45 Main Event Bandido vs Johnny Caballero This was the main event that everyone was looking forward to. Two of the best stars of their generation coming together for a first time dream match. Sparks flew right from start as both indulged in a bit of goofiness including an arm flexing contest and a somersault contest. Johnny botched his attempt at a somersault and then when Bandido was in the midst of a perfectly executed one, he crashed that one with a dropkick to an upside down Bandido. Things got serious from there and we got the best match of the nights, both mixing high flying fast paced offense with some technical wrestling. Bandido hit a 24-Plex but Caballero shoot water right into referee's eyes with his water gun to prevent him from counting. Next, he shoot water into Bandido's eyes behind referee's back when he was going for poison rana, making him fall down from the ropes. A Starship Pain followed and Johnny has picked up his first GCW win. Grade: 67 Post match, Johnny picked up the mic and said he was stupid enough to don a mask and calling himself Captain Gamechanger when he should have been his own self. Tonight they saw one of his avatars, Caballero who excels in the craft of lucha libre, tomorrow they will see yet another avatar of him who gets all motivated by the sight of blood, Johnny Bloodsport!!! kanegan
Attendance: 900@ Fairmont Hotel Regency Ballroom, Views: 3585 Tony Deppen vs Simon Gotch This was the first match for Deppen ever since he lost his series against Myron Reed. He was desperate to get back to winning ways. The two grappled and reversed until Deppen mounted Gotch for some elbows and hit a lariat. Gotch came back with a double-underhook suplex and a knee strike. Gotch tried to sucker Deppen to the mat but he didn’t take the bait. Gotch managed to throw a few elbows. Both guys reached their feet and exchanged palm strikes and forearms. Deppen trapped Gotch into a sleeper for the quick tap. Grade: 44 Tony Deppen was frustrated that Gotch took him to the distance and he showed his disdain by unloading on Gotch but out of nowhere, Matthew Rewholdt f.k.a Aiden English came down and ran Deppen out of the ring. He helped Gotch get up and they both embraced. The team f.k.a Vaudevillians had re-united in the Bloodsport arena. Billie Starkz vs Janai Kai The "Baby Draw" Starkz went against the "Kick Demon" Janai Kai.This one was physical. Janai Kai attacked Starkz with some vicious pal strikes to the ribs. The two tangled on the mat and Kai threw some shots to Starkz midsection, then punched her back a few times but Starkz trapped her in another rear naked choke, then transitioned to a front chancery. Kai escaped and threw some kicks, then went in for some ground and pound which finally knocked out Starkz. Grade: 20 Alex Coughlin vs Cole Radrick Coughlin was the recent graduate of New Japan Young Lion system and he had been making waves in the Strong shows. Both guys struck hard early, and Radrick grounded Coughlin and threw some stiff elbow shots. Coughlin trapped Radrick in a leg lock and he grabbed Coughlin’s head and neck to escape.Big elbow shot exchange by both impressed the crowd. Radrick tried guillotine but Coughlin hit a deadlift German into a rear naked choke and Radrick passed out. Grade: 22 Wheeler Yuta vs Tom Lawlor The ROH Pure champion versus the NJPW Strong Openweight champion. This screamed a Forbidden Door match and was one of the matches that everyone was looking forward to. Yuta threw a lot of punches and finally connected with a left, and Lawlor bailed to the floor, baiting Yuta to get in a lot of shots. Back to the mat, Lawlor out grappled Yuta for a time. Headlock takeover by Yuta into a kneebar, which Lawlor escaped, after which he hit a pair of slams. Lawlor got to a mounted position and got some shots in, and Yuta escaped and hopped on Lawlor’s back for a sleeper. Tom maneuvered Wheeler to a side and slammed him down. Both men got to their feet and Yuta finally worked a choke, then rolled into a leg lock, which Lawlor escaped. More quick mat reversals and Lawlor tied up Yuta on the mat and added a Guillotine Choke, and he tapped out after sometime. Grade: 48 Josh Barnett Vs Andrei Arlovski Arlovski was making his wrestling debut and it was in Bloodsport, against he master. Slow feeling-out process to open before Barnett took Andrei to the mat with a headlock, and the two exchanged reversals there. Barnett threw some rights, but Andrei reversed and threw a big forearm of his own. Double wristlock by Andrei, escape and reset. He hit a powerslam into a side headlock. Barnett escapes, to their feet, and Barnett threw a few kicks but got kicked down. An Andrei headbutt sent Barnett crumbling, but he came back with a spinning heel kick and worked a heel hook which finally tapped out Arlovski. Grade: 38 Co-Main Event Johnny Bloddsport vs Alex Shelley Shelley threw some high kicks early that Johnny parried. Lightning-quick kicks by Shelley and the two kept their distance from one another until Shelley caught Johnny with a kick and shot in. Mat reversals led to a quick reset on their feet. Johnny absorbed a kick and tossed Shelley to the mat.To their feet again, and Shelley caught Johnny with a kick and worked a body scissors. Johnny threw some quick punches and the two reset yet again. The two rolled near the edge of the mat, then spilled over as Shelley escaped. Back in and Shelley caught Johnny with a ton of kicks, but he caught one and hit an Uranage. Fujiwara Armbar by Johnny into a cross-armbreaker finished off Shelley and he had won his second match in a row in GCW. Grade: 61 Main Event Jon Moxley vs Minoru Suzuki Moxley dominated on the mat early until Suzuki suckered him into a sleeper. The two grappled to the edge of the mat and Suzuki headed to the outside to escape a submission. Back inside, they jostled on the mat again and reversed repeatedly for a couple of minutes before Suzuki grounded Moxley and missed two hard palm strikes. Moxley reversed to the top and he too couldn’t land a strike at first. Suzuki tried to fight to his feet and Moxley struck with a palm strike. Suzuki sold it with an unimpressed look to the camera, eliciting a laugh from the audience. The two exchanged forearms on their feet and started working in chops and palm strikes. Kicks got involved and Suzuki snapped on a kneebar. Moxley broke free with some palm strikes and the two went to their feet for another stiff exchange. Suzuki crumpled Moxley with a big elbow strike. Combo strikes by Suzuki and Moxley fell to the mat. Moxley managed a back kick and an enzuigiri, then a brainbuster which finally put Suzuki down. Grade: 74 Johnny Bloodsport comes out to the ring mockingly clapping Moxley's victory and tells that the audience has seen two different avatars of him in the past 2 days and both of them were victorious, but Jon, are you ready for the biggest challenge yet because if you have the balls, then you will give a title shot to not Captain Gamechanger as that is long gone but Johnny Gamechanger who will take GCW to new era. He hits a haymaker and then follows up with Starship Pain to lay out the GCW World Champion.
kanegan
Attendance: 930@ Fairmont Hotel Regency Ballroom, Views: 3590 Zayne&Christian vs IronBeast vs Young Studs vs Rejects The 4-way tag match started off the proceedings as each team got to start afresh with a win. It was Zayne & Christian who were back after dabbling in some singles action last month and they started exactly where they had ended, a big win when they delivered a tandem leaping clothesline/powerbomb combo on Bobby Beverly. Grade: 45 Joey Janela vs Sean Waltman This was a slow-burn match filled with Janela’s brand of shenanigans. He attacked mercilessly, reveling in being the bad guy and breaking down Waltman. Even then, he couldn’t stop Sean from coming back and engaging in the indie spectacle of fighting. He went wild with door spots, topes and destroyers, all while keeping to what people remembered him for. An early shot into one of the ring posts left him fighting an uphill battle all match but he kept trooping on until Janela turned off the lights with a superkick. Grade: 42 Major Empire vs InJustice VSK was the weak link in Major Empire and they paid for it as Tankman took him to task using his weight and reach advantage to maul him. Even Myers and Cardona's dirty tactics couldn't stop the Heavyweight Hustle as he alone wiped out the entire trio. A Tankman Driver to VSK ended this one in favor of InJustice. Grade: 44 Rejects vs Second Gear Crew The second trios match pitted perennial rivals Rejects against the Second Gear Crew. The Extreme Champion AJ Gray joined his team and from the start this was a hard-hitting affair with lot of weapons involved. Murdoch and Bentley combined for an aided powerbomb on a light bundle to Manders but he kicked out sending the crowd to frenzy. We got a light-tube duel between Akira and Gray which gave us the feeling of Star Wars. Justice got crazy and jumped from the ring to the audience over Bentley who was reeling from a spike piledriver on steel steps. AKIRA though shocked the crowd and created a huge upset as he locked the Barbed Wire Sleeper on Manders and he was forced to tap. Grade: 43 GCW Diaspora Women's Title Athena © vs Chelsea Green It started off as a slow sprawl and brawl match but soon got it's momentum upped. Athena landed on her feet and crumbled to the floor, selling an ankle injury. Of course, it was a ruse, and she rolled up Green for a nearfall, then hopped to her feet and did some jumping jacks to show us she was okay. These two had an excellent main-event style match that really didn’t drag. Athena went to the top rope and nailed her diving stunner, the O-Face but Chelsea kicked out at 2. This frustrated Athena as she delivered another O-Face and this time it was lights out for Mrs. Cardona. Athena makes defence #1 of the GCW Diaspora Women's title. Grade: 46 GCW Tag Team Title Pretty Boy Killers © vs Von Erichs PBK met their match in the next generation of the famed Von Erich family as the southern brawling style caused a lot of problems to the reigning champions. Shane got subjected to some nasty haymakers from both the Von Erichs and they almost won the match when Lee was trapped in the Iron Claw from Marshall Von Erich but Shane saved the day. In the end, Lee overturned a dual chokeslam attempt with a double clothesline before a Spirit Bomb on Ross got them the win. Pretty Boy Killers makes defence #4 of the GCW Tag Team title. Grade: 57 Deathmatch Nick Gage vs Alex Colon The king returned to his den for the first time ever since his partner, Matt Tremont suffered a career shortening injury and he was returning to his roots against the former Ultraviolent champion and current face of the deathmatch scene, Alex Colon. Weapons came into play early and we saw Gage deploying the pizza cutter on Colon's forehead with him returning the favor a little while later slicing Gage's arm. Colon managed the Colon Driver but Gage kicked out at 2.9. Nick Gage followed up with a Brainbuster on table, sitout piledriver on chair but Colon refused to die. Finally, the Choke Breaker brought a win. Grade: 59 Post-match, Gage comes on the mic and amidst the rousing reception from crowd, says to Colon that he always knew that Colon is the future but he showed he is still the king. But now with Tremont being put into the backburner permanently after his injury, he needs allies to build his empire back. He needs generals to reform MDK and he is choosing Alex Colon to be the first member of the newly reformed MDK. Will he accept it? Colon thought for a while and with crowd egging him on, he shakes the hand of Nick Gage signaling the start of the new alliance.

We also saw the "King" Nick Gage recruiting Alex Colon and re-formed his MDK Gang after a long time and after he lost his partner Matt Tremont who would have to sit out for the entire year. Mick Foley announced via twitter that GCW is creating a 3rd brand, known as LA Fights which will be a sort of Open Fight Night where any newcomers signed or un-signed with the company can challenge a wrestler for a bout and if the wrestler is willing to, it will be featured on the card. We are also full steam ahead to the first tournament of the year, JCW Battlebowl where three wrestler teams would fight each other and the winners will receive any title shots of their choosing for the next 6 months. LA Fights Vol. 1 has already been announced and it will take place in the iconic Globe Theatre, which has been home to several editions of BOLA. Three big challenges have been issued and accepted via Twitter. First, Simon Gotch and Matthew Rewholdt, f.k.a Vaudevillians re-united during Bloodsport 8 and they have not wasted any time in issuing a challenge to the tag champions, PBK. Now going by the name, The Drama Kings. Masada has issued a challenge to Nick Gage for a deathmatch, willing to complete the rubber match between them which is currently at 2-2. Nick Gage accepted but also mentioned that if he wins, Masada has to accept his condition whatever that is. And finally, Minoru Suzuki has been challenged by Johnny Hennigan ( now going by Johnny Gamechanger) who mentioned that if Mox can beat the Murder Grandpa, so can the man with multiple names. kanegan
Look, if you wanted to have a women's championship, you coulda just done that. You didn't have to do this to a belt called the Pan-Afrikan World Diaspora Championship. Sorry if you didn't like it mate but Trish had done everything with the belt and there was nothing left and the restriction of only involving black wrestlers was not suiting me so i changed it. Although the irony is the first two women's champion of the company both are black. :D
kanegan
VOL. 1 Attendance: 745@ Globe Theatre, LA, Views: 3606 Scramble Match Post his impressive performance in Bloodsport, Alex Coughlin was thrown into the crazy world of scramble matches as his debut on GCW proper but he took to it like a fish in water, bringing in a power game to negate all the high flyers. His backbreaker followed by a brainbuster on ropes and pinned Radrick for his first official GCW win. Winner: Alex Coughlin Grade: 42 Allie Katch vs Trish Adora Trish did not take her lack of action ever since she lost the title too well and she vowed that she will not take the easy way of rematch clause but she will destroy the female roster of GCW before she faces off Athena once more and the first name that popped out was Allie Katch. Allie tried to play dirty including eye pokes and low blows but Trish had enough and two powerbombs and a humongous Lariat Tubman later sent Allie out of the ring and through a table, Trish had left her first opponent a broken mess. Grade: 45 Bad Batch vs Ugly Ducklings Things finally turned around for the Janela led Bad Batch as they tasted their first win as a trio after Frost Temperature Dropped all her three opponents and then Janela superkicked Lance Lude to pick up the win. Grade: 34 Deathmatch Masada vs Nick Gage Masada is blasted with a bundle of light tubes before the announcer can even announce his name. He is bleeding seconds into the match and grabs a bundle of tubes himself and smashes them over Gage’s head. Both exchange forearms before Masada dumbs Gage outside of the ring through the table and glass set up outside of the ring. He brings a pizza cutter out himself and starts slicing away at Nick Gage’s forehead. Masada punches Gage with a stiff right sending Gage into the corner. He goes for Gage but is dumped over the ropes onto the apron and is smashed into the turnbuckle. Masada drops outside of the ring and is hit with a baseball slide assisted by light tubes from Nick Gage. Masada wraps barbwire around his fist and starts nailing Gage with multiple barbwire-covered right hands. Gage fights back but Masada wraps the barbwire around Gage's face and uses it to pull Gage to the mat in an inverted neck breaker. He goes for the cover but only gets a two-count. Masada lifts Nick Gage up on his shoulders but Gage fights off and spears him through the glass pane in the corner of the ring. Gage sets a chair on Masada and drops an elbow drop onto the chair on Masada. Gage grabs a light tube and breaks it using the broken edge to cut away at Masada’s forehead. Gage gets a pizza cutter of his own and put it into his mouth and starts cutting away. He finally ends the ordeal with a Chokebreaker and picks up the 1...2....3. Grade: 52 Post-match, both Masada and Gage slowly get up with their faces and body covered in humongous amounts of blood, Gage asks somebody to throw him the package that was with him and he holds in his hand a MDK jersey. Gage says he has mad respect for Masada and remembers all the wars that both have gone through with each other and he will be honoured if Masada joins him in the re-formation of MDK Gang. With the crowd clapping and egging him on, Masada finally relents after giving it a lot of thought and Colon comes in and they raise hands in unison. Gage then drops a bombshell that MDK will be participating in the Battlebowl and they fully intend to win it and leave all the broken bodies in the ring. GCW Tag Team Title Pretty Boy Killers © vs Drama Kings Rewholdt's lack of practice was exposed in the match as he was the weak link in what would be otherwise a very competitive match. Gotch showed his mean side which we had developed as part of Contra unit in MLW and kept Taylor and Lee from trampling all over them but in the end, a Welcome to the End piledriver from Shane on Rewholdt was enough to chalk out another defense for the champs. Pretty Boy Killers makes defence #5 of the GCW Tag Team title. Grade: 45 Main Event Minoru Suzuki vs Johnny Gamechanger Johnny had claimed big words, now was the time to back it up. Suzuki had Johnny in an armlock, but he turned it into an ankle lock. Suzuki reached the ropes to break the hold. The audience had a dual chant. Johnny knocked Suzuki down with a shoulder tackle to the floor. The action spilled to the floor. Suzuki and Johnny exchanged punches and started brawling outside. Suzuki caught Johnny with a boot sending him crashing on the guard rails. A dual chant broke out again. The action returned to the ring. Suzuki stomped Johnny in the corner while he caught Suzuki with elbows. Both exchanged hard chops and forearms next. Suzuki put Johnny in a sleeper hold and tried to go for the Gotch piledriver but got backdropped. Johnny got a rolling slam on Suzuki, followed by a knee drop. He then hit Suzuki with two forearms, followed by the Starship Pain for the win. Grade: 66 Post-match, while Johnny Gamechanger was celebrating, Wild Things hit and crowd went wild as Mox came out all guns blazing decking Johnny with some hard strikes before hitting the Paradigm Shift on a chair making the round 2 of Mox-Johnny official. kanegan
Attendance: 740@ The Midway, San Francisco, Views: 3597 2 Cold Scorpio/Dante Leon vs XXXL xs Kirks vs Young,Dumb N Broke The mentor-protege duo of Scorpio and Leon continue making waves as they picked up their 3rd win in as many months as a team despite the presence of much experienced duos out there. Kasey Kirk was subjected to the Tumbleweed from Scorpio. Winner: 2 Cold Scorpio/Dante Leon Grade: 36 Chelsea Green vs Trish Adora Trish was on a path of destruction and after putting down Katch, she was facing Mrs. Cardona, Chelsea Green who always enjoyed a lot of hate from GCW faithful. This was no different as crowd cheered every slap, slam or puch that Trish threw at Chelsea and despite her cheating blatantly, Trish held on and finished off Green with the Lariat Tubman. Post-match, she told Athena that her days are numbered and she is coming back for the belt after destroying the rest of GCW ladies. Grade: 42 InJustice vs Rejects The trio of Reed, Oliver and Tankman had impressed everyone ever since they got together but The Rejects are known to be tough S.O.B's with Akira, JWM and Bentley going ballistic with weaponry usage. Reed's brains got splattered twice with con-chair tos from Murdoch and Bentley, Bentley went into a light-tube duel with Oliver, Reed and AKIRA tried to outdo each other in slamming through walls through the audience but in the end, it was Heavyweight Hustle, Calvin Tankman who hit the Tankman Driver on Bentley to win the match. Grade: 41 Major Players vs Briscoes A very fun match and an interesting dynamic, as Briscoes intensity was countered with the clever cheat tactics of Cardona and Myers. The Briscoes chopped down their opponents painting their chests red but Myers and Cardona wouldn't take it lying down and it was Chelsea Green who was the difference maker as she flipped the crowd and then with Myers grabbing the ref to show the problem with his eye, she low blowed Mark and then hit Jay square on the jaw with her Inter-Gender title. Myers seized the opportunity, hitting the Roster Cut on Jay to pick up the win to a loud chorus of boos. Grade: 53 Deathmatch Rickey Shane Page vs Nick Gage RSP and Gage was facing off after 2 long years and now with Gage fully reforming his MDK Gang, he showed extra spring in his step and the bad blood that these two had during their last feud was re-visited. RSP broke multiple doors on Gage's back but he also suffered as Gage brought out barbed wire table and sent Rickey through it with a top rope powerbomb. He goes for the cover but only gets a two-count. Glass made the bout more horrific as RSP and Gage both suffered deep cuts. 44.OH! cronies Cogar, Beverly and Ryan came to aid their leader but of course they were chased by Colon and Masada. Finally with the ring clear of any interference, Gage hit the Chokebreaker on a bundle to get the win and avenge his loss last time around. Grade: 61 GCW World Title Jon Moxley © vs Johnny Gamechanger This was everything that you could ask for in a title match. Moxley basically tried to kill Johnny in this match but he was not giving up easy. He could not keep up with Moxley's brawl but he countered it into a most effective way by employing his new found kicking skills to devastating results, making harder for Moxley to get back to this game. Mox found time to hit the Paradigm Shift though but Johhny cleverly rolled out of the ring to catch his breath and deny the champ a chance for a win. He grabbed him and dragged him to the ring before hitting a Gotch Style piledriver but once again Johnny somehow rolled out of the ring again frustrating Mox. He was getting restless and he went for the piledriver again after a bit of stiff chops on the chest but this time Johnny blocked it and hit a Sliced Bread on Mox. A basement drop kick brought Mox to his knees before a Savate Kick busted Mox's lips as he started bleeding from mouth. Johnny himself faced a cut on his arm. Both of them started slapping each other real hard and finally a Paradigm Shift was blocked as Johnny hit a spear off the ropes. Mox was struggling and Johhny followed up with a apron Swanton before finally hitting the Starship Pain to bring the iconic reign of Jon Moxley to end after 247 days. We had a new champion on the top and his name was Johnny Gamechanger!!! Johnny Gamechanger wins the GCW World title. Grade:
