BREAKING NEWS from Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. There is a new face of TNA Management. In a shocking move that was unknown by most of the wrestling community along with the internet community, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, announced a new C.E.O. today. While the new C.E.O. at the moment will remain nameless in fear of a massive lawsuit, we can say that he has been part of the Independent Wrestling scene for sometime. As for the reason why Dixie Carter was removed from her post. We are told that it was due to her lack of interest shown recently after giving birth to another child. We can also report that an anouncement was made about the status of all major titles within the company. All titles except for the X Division Title are now Vacant. Tournaments have been set up for both the NWA World Heavyweight Title and the NWA World Tag Team Titles. As of right now, we only got a look at the Tag Team Tournament. The tournament is broke down into two different brackets. One side is entitled TRADITIONAL while the other bracket is named NEW CORE . Both sides will feature seedings of 1 thru 8. It is a single elimination tournament with winners from both sides facing each other in the Finals. We will have more information as it becomes available. However, here is a look at the tournament brackets. The TRADITIONAL side looks like this. WELCOME TO THE TNA INSIDER Welcome to the very 1st Edition of the TNA Insider. In the next few weeks, months and hopefully years, I will be able to bring you up to date news for the world of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. My first column will bring you up to date on the recent changes in TNA Management and a preview of the 1st Round NWA World Tag Tournament. So, lets get down to business. First and foremost, the wrestling world along with the internet community were shocked at the replacement of Dixie Carter. On one hand, she has done loads for this company and has been loyal to everyone since day 1. On the other hand, the company was and is being compared to a dying World Championship Wrestling. Obviously, that’s not something that an employee of the company wants to hear. So, as I was told as a child, I will look at things on the positive aspect and hope for new talent along with fresh storylines. An example of this positive moment would be the NWA World Tag Team Tournament. Allow me to preview the 1st Round for you. Today, I will take a special look at the TRADITIONAL bracket. AMW is a very dominate tag team here in TNA and were one of the teams feuding for the Tag Titles before they were vacated. “Cowboy” James Storms and “Wildcat” Chris Harris have taken tag team wrestling to a new height since joining forces here in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling during 2002. These two are a perfect match for each other. Since joining forces with Jeff Jarrett and Gail Kim, AMW have done any and everything to gain a victory. James Storm will look to hit the Eight Second Ride, as Harris looks for his Catatonic. Together they will look to use the Death Sentence or Gail Kim interference, which ever comes first. They are the #1 seed and are a force in the TRADITIONAL bracket. AMW’s opponents are the #8 seeded team of Puma & Jay Lethal. These two shouldn’t be taken lightly as Puma is a former APW World Internet, UIWA, and UWA Hardcore Canadian Champion. His high risk abilities could either make or break him in the ring. He looks to hit his patented 520 Spring Board DDT. His partner is Jay Lethal. Coming off his popularity from numerous Ring Of Honor appearances, Lethal has yet to make a huge impact in TNA. Lethal is a former Pure Champion in ROH and has held every singles title in Jersey All Pro Wrestling (Heavyweight, TV, and Cruiserweight.) He will be looking to land his Lethal Injection finisher. Prediction: Although, I really like the team of Puma/Lethal. I have to pick AMW because of experience along with the Gail Kim factor. Unless TNA Management bans Kim from the ring, she could wreck havoc on the young and inexperienced team of Puma/Lethal. Final Pick: AMW The next match up features another make shift tag team of Ron “The Truth” Killings & “The War Machine” Rhino. Killings is a former WWF Hardcore Champion and a Two Time NWA World Heavyweight Champion, along with NWA World Tag Champion while with The 3 Live Krew. He mixes a brawling style with an aerial attack. He will look to land his Scissors Kick or will he bring back his Truth Or Consequence move if the ban on it has been removed on it. His partner is Rhino and he is no stranger to championships. A former WWF Hardcore, ECW World and Television Champion, Rhino is a smash mouth wrestler, who isn’t afraid to turn to his former hardcore antics to get the job done. He looks to hit the GORE!!!! The team awaiting Killings and Rhino is the current Ring Of Honor Tag Team Champions. The team of Roderick Strong & Austin Aries or also known as Generation Next. This team is well experienced and hasn’t been seen on TNA TV in nearly 2 months. There are many rumors surrounding whether Strong or Aries is actually still with the company but they look to be the first team in NWA history to hold both ROH and NWA Tag Titles at the same time. Roderick Strong is a master of the back breaker and looks to lock in his Elevated Boston Crab. His partner Aries who is no stranger to aerial tactics will look for his 450 Splash. Prediction: It always makes you wonder when two people who usually don’t team up,how they will gel together. Will they mesh together or will it be an disaster. If you haven’t had a chance to watch Generation Next team up then you will be in for a treat as they can dazzle everyone. I however, think that Killings & Rhino can be a sleeper in this bracket. Final Pick: Killings & Rhino The #3 seed match up with the #6 seed is a very interesting one. On one side of the ring you have Kevin Nash & Alex Shelley. For all of you that have been living under a rock the last 10 years and don’t know who Kevin Nash is. I will inform you that he has held nearly almost every time in the WWF/E and World Championship Wrestling. He has tagged up with most of the biggest names in wrestling history. The likes of HBK, Scott Hall, Hulk Hogan, and Diamond Dallas Page. He will look for his trademark Jackknife Powerbomb. His partner is Alex Shelley, the master of the hidden camera. However, don’t be fooled by Shelley’s out of ring personality as he’s a great wrestler with hidden submission abilities. He’s a former Ring Of Honor Trios Tournament Winner with Jimmy Jacobs and fellow TNA wrestler Abyss. He is also a former Zero-One Max United State Champion as well. He will look to land his Shellshock Finisher. Can these two team up together and stay as dominating as they have looked the last couple of weeks? The other side of this interesting match up is the #6 seeded team of Chris Sabin & Sonjay Dutt. While their opponents don’t have much experience together, this team has teamed up recently in the last couple of months. Chris Sabin is a former NWA X-Division Champion and a former Border City Wrestling TV Champion in which he defeated Shelley to win that TV Title. He’s an aerial master with much more power then people give him credit for. His Cradle Shock is an amazing finisher that you should look out for. His partner is Sonjay Dutt, who is a former MLW J-Cup USA Tournament Winner who also held the MLW Junior Heavyweight Champion. Dutt’s looking at getting his first taste of NWA or TNA Championship Gold. He too is an aerial wiz, who looks to land his Hindupress from the top rope. Prediction: The wildcard in this match up is basically Kevin Nash. Will he use his height and size to an advantage or will it be an disadvantage? I for one think that it will be an disadvantage as I think Dutt & Sabin will run circles around him and make sure they keep Nash out of the ring. Final Pick: Chris Sabin & Sonjay Dutt The final match up of the TRADITIONAL bracket is one that I’m personally looking forward to. The #2 seeded team is The Dream Team of AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels. These two were the current champions until the titles were vacated by the new C.E.O. of Total Nonstop Action. The got the name Dream Team for a reason and that reason is their ability to mix amazing aerial with great tag team moves. Styles brings a great ability to fly and mix hard hitting moves. His Styles Clash is something to be feared, along with Spiral Tap. His partner Daniels is known for his ground based game but you shouldn’t over look his aerial abilities. He looks to land his Last Rites or BME (Best Moonsault Ever.) Their combination of BME & Frog Splash is the Tag Finisher that they have been using recently. Although their opponents are named The Dream Team, the #7 seeded team newly named The Hillbilly Heart Throbs (Lance Hoyt & Matt Bentley) look to move on to Tag Gold. Hoyt & Bentley mix power and speed that hasn’t been seen since the early days of Kevin Nash and Shawn Michaels. Hoyt has been a very underachieving member of the TNA roster since turning face during last summer. He has been known for his backstage attitude but while in the ring, no one has questioned his talents. He will look to land his Texas Towerbomb or Moonsault. His partner, Matt Bentley, is the speed part of the team. A relative of Shawn Michaels, Bentley has shown signs of greatness and signs of immaturity since he has shown up in TNA. Bentley brings the TNA Knockout Traci Brooks to the ring with him and she could be a distraction not only for The Dream Team but for The Hillbilly Heart Throbs as well. If Bentley isn’t distracted he will look to land his Superkick or Picture Perfect Elbow to end the match. Prediction: If Traci Brooks can be a factor in this match then I will go with the upset and pick the team of Hoyt & Bentley. However, I don’t see that happening, so I’m taking The Dream Team. Final Pick: The Dream Team So, there you have it. The first edition of The TNA Insider and my predictions for one half of the Tag Tourney bracket. In the next edition, look forward to the breakdown of the other Tag Tourney bracket along with some other news from other companies including WWE, and ROH. I will do my best to bring everyone the backstage news that I can find. To review my picks, just incase, you just skipped down and didn’t read the breakdown, here they are. AMW Killings & Rhino Sabin & Dutt The Dream Team Got any Comments, Questions, Concerns? The_bod_2002@hotmail.com

Mike Tenay: Hello everyone and welcome to TNA Impact. I'm here along with Don West. Don West: I can't believe that we are live here in the Sun Dome in Tampa, Florida. For the first time, Impact is live on Spike TV. "Downfall" by TRUSTCompany plays as the New C.E.O. Todd Bergman wakes his way out to the ring. Bergman: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to a new ERA in Professional Wrestling. Tonight, you will see in this ring 4 match ups in the 1st Round of the Tag Team Tournament. You will also get the chance to see two great athletes put their lives and careers on the line as your X Division Champion Senshi will do battle with Christopher Daniels. While that match alone would be great, I decided to raise the bar and put the winner of this match into a match up with Christian Cage in the 1st Round of the NWA World Heavyweight Title Tournament. I don't want to be one of those people who sit out here and bore you all to death but I have two more things to announce. First, the Main Event tonight will be a Three Way Dance Where Anything Goes. You will see "The Monster" Abyss vs Raven vs Samoa Joe. Up next however, I've schedules a nice kickoff to the summer. It will be Gail Kim vs Traci is a Bikini Showdown.
