Strech
State of the Universe Week 1 January 2023 One Year into the save, let’s have a look at STARDOM’s rivals and the key companies around the world. Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling (TJPW) have continued their positive growth, raising 3 points of popularity across Japan and a bank balance almost touching 2 million dollars. Maki Itoh finally beat Miyu Yamashita for the main title belt, the company seem all in on the “Cutest in the World”! Tag matches have allowed the promotion to continue to produce stronger and stronger ratings, with August seeing Magical Sugar Rabbits (Magirabi) defeating Shoko Nakajima & Miyu Yamashita for an 81, then closing of the year With 121000000 defeating Magirabi for a 79! Click here to see Titles Princess of Princess – Maki Itoh – 3 defences – 161 days Princess Tag Team – Hakuchumu (Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi) (2) – 4 defences – 161 days International Princess – Shoko Nakajima – 2 defences – 105 days Tokyo Princess Cup – Maki Itoh Futari No Princess Max Heart Tournament – Shoko Nakajima & Yuki Kamifuka Ice Ribbon Ice Ribbon managed to save their sinking ship, by selling their dojo and venue. This allowed them to get out of debt, finish the year with $140,000 in the bank and have a tidy 20k profit per month since. Their main event players: Saori Anou, Tsukasa Fujimoto, Tsukushi & Rina Yamashita have carried their company for the second half of last year, and even allowed them to rise in size to small! Click here to see Titles ICExInfinity – Saori Anou – 2 defences – 190 days International Ribbon Tag Team – Rising Force (Haruka Umesaki & Itsuki Aoki) – 3 defence – 221 days FantastICE – Ram Kaicho – 4 defences – 309 days Triangle Ribbon – Hiroyo Matsumoto – 0 defences – 10 days IW-19 – Aja Kong – 1 defences – 99 days OZ Academy OZ Academy have also managed to stop the rot by also selling their dojo, rising to small and hiring Jungle Kyona. Their best show of the year was held in July, cracking the 60’s show rating thanks to a 69 rated main event, which saw Rina Yamashita retaining her Openweight title against Arisa Nakajima! Click here to see Titles OZ Academy Openweight – Rina Yamashita – 5 defences – 211 days OZ Academy Tag Team – Itsuki Aoki & Yuu – 0 defences – 49 days Sendai Girl’s Pro Wrestling Sendai Girl’s Pro Wrestling managed to fix their financial situation by cutting 3/4 of their production budget and halving it wage costs. This ensured they only dipped their toes in the financial red, before now sitting 100k in the black, making a healthy profit. The Monster reign of Chihiro Hashimoto has surpassed 1000 days, last being defended in April partially due to injury, partially due to TEW booking. Their tag tournament saw a particularly strong main event match of Meiko Satomura & Ryo Mizunami beating The House of Truth (Kaho Kobayashi & Mio Momono) to scoop up the tournament win and score a 66. Click here to see Titles Sendai Girls World – Chihiro Hashimoto (5) – 6 defences – 1084 days Sendai Girl Tag Team – Mio Momono & Andras Miyagi – 3 defences – 207 days Sendai Girls Junior Title – Andras Miyagi – 2 defences – 189 days Sendai Girls Royal Tag Tournament - Meiko Satomura & Ryo Mizunami Apparently, they bought two titles, AAAW – originally GAEA Japan owned – forgive me I don’t watch Sendai Girls, so I don’t know if they did this irl or just in game AAAW – Hiroyo Matsumoto – 5 defences – 330 days AAAW Tag Team – Ryo Mizunami & Yuu – 2 defences – 190 days SEADLINNNG SEADLINNNG have continued to be absolute mad lads hiring another 12 wrestlers, taking their roster size to 52, which would make any TEW talent hoarder proud! It has clearly worked though, as new signing Miyu Yamashita lost to Arisa Nakanjima for an eye watering 84 match rating, allowing them to flex their muscles with a ridiculous 80 rated show to end the year. Click here to see Titles SEADLINNNG Beyond the SEA – Yoshiko (2) – 2 defences – 141 days SEADLINNNG Beyond the SEA Tag Team – Miyuki Takase & Kaho Kobayashi – 2 defences – 92 days Marvelous Marvelous are still chugging along nicely, despite having no belts! Running back Takumi Iroha and Rin Kadokura at the end of the year scored them an 80 rated main event match rating, continuing their successful year! Gatoh Move Gatoh Move are well and truly in the mud! Youtube (Japan) cancelled their contract in July taking them off air, followed by a 200k Media fine at the end of the year, lost them 9 points of popularity dropping them to Insignificant size! Only a crowdfunding campaign can save this company, unless we make our first purchase of the save! With them rejecting a takeover attempt, they must be believing in the power of the Pencil army, with Lulu as their top champion! Click here to see Titles Super Asia – Lulu Pencil – 0 defences – 148 days Asia Dream Tag Team – SAKI & Ram Kaicho – 1 defence – 232 days New Japan Pro Wrestling New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) continue to dominate Japan by putting on great matches, and continuing to burn their relationships, ending their agreement with Dragongate. BUSHI & Tanga Loa saw their contracts expire as a new wave of Young lions entered the system, although none of the new lions are anything to write home about. The 2022 Company of the year was lead unsurprisingly by Okada, who continued his dominate amazing matches, going back to back in September for the Destruction shows, putting on 97 against Shingo Takagi followed by a 98 against Kota Ibushi the very next night. Infernalmiko
So sad there is no PURE-J in this mod. Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling The main competition for Stardom, this should be fun. Ice Ribbon My guilty pleasure promotion. They'll give anyone a chance to train as a pro wrestler, regardless of age, physical condition or talent. This makes for a more diverse group than some promotions. OZ Academy For a long time Oz was a retirement home for wrestlers not quite ready to retire. Nice to see a youth movement taking hold. Sendai Girl’s Pro Wrestling Sendai's always struggled with being in the remote hinterlands of Japan, though at least it's not Hakodate. Meiko's still one of the best (and strictest) teachers around. They'll be fine. SEADLINNNG For a promotion that only lists three wrestlers and a referee on their RL official webpage, 52 wrestlers is just crazy. They either have some suspicious new investors or Yoshiko is beating up people for extra money. Marvelous Amazed to see Marvelous still rolling along, that's kind of cool. Gatoh Move Nice to see Gatoh still around, though they are about as small time as it gets. Just check them out on Youtube (Gatoh Move ChocoPro) to see. Rhysrob
It was a cool reminder to see how big the joshi scene is IRL! And there are still some promotions lurking [WAVE]/the freelancer groups too-- makes the TEW world seem so restricted in comparison. I do love how the diary gives us those sweet moments that'll never happen Jungle Kyona vs. Momo is a dream match of 2 women who deserve/d the red belt but will never get the red belt Money is on Momo! Strech
Hi! It's been a while! Due to forgetting my password then self isolating, my comeback was a true flop. I'm sorry for the delay but I'll plan to be back next Monday for the last 2 tour events, preview the event on Wednesday, then put the Anniversary on Friday next week. Then touching wood we'll be back to one month a week the week after! Thanks!

I'd love to see a semi-realistic STARDOM diary on these boards, as I can't book a realistic product! Mine is more of a lazy mans western product, based on things I wanna see and as a proud Jungle Kyona pray circle member, is it really a fantasy STARDOM diary without her lol Gotta look out for my 4 pillars of STARDOM in Watanabe, AZM, Kid & Suzuki this year! Strech
Thanks for giving this diary a second chance! PPV up Friday! STARDOM 12th Anniversary Preview Saturday Week 4 January 2023 Main Event: Jungle Kyona vs Momo Watanabe © Match Preview: In our main event, The World of STARDOM Champion Momo Watanabe will defend her red belt against Jungle Kyona. After all of the history between these two ladies (showcased in the Jungle Kyona character focus) both wrestlers have a lot of emotions to work through. Momo will relish the headline attention, as Jungle will be cautious, returning to in ring competition after a 2 ¼ year absence. Semi Main: Cosmic Angels (Tam Nakano, Unagi Sayaka & Mina Shirakawa) vs STARS (Mayu Iwatani, Saya Iida & Hanan) Match Preview: The Vacant Artist of STARDOM titles are up for grabs here as STARS take on Cosmic Angels. Unagi & Mina have stood up and delivered for Tam, after Nakano demanded more from them towards the end of last year. Mayu on the other hand will be looking to help jump start Iida & Hanan’s year with some title glory, after a particularly quiet 2022. There will always be an uneasy tension between the 2 factions after Tam chose to leave STARS, setting us up nicely for the PPV. Match 5: AZM vs KAIRI Match Preview: KAIRI vs AZM will compete here, with the Queen’s Quest leadership on the line. AZM doesn’t believe in Io handing leadership over to KAIRI, much preferring to compete for the honour, as KAIRI has defeated Kamitani & Hayashishita but not AZM in singles competition! Strech
How come Lady C retired? Aha im sorry as i know she is a fan favourite for a few people. I just looked up and down my roster for people not being utilized well ala lady c / fukigen death, and decided to part ways, i think with STARDOM the roster shifts so much, that even 3 years ago the landscape is completely different, so i always like to freshen up my saves every year! Edit: sorry i booked this a couple of weeks ago so forgot i retired her due to injuries in storyline!
