Gino Montero already defeated Mr. Lucha III for two times, at TCW Destructive Energy 2020 and at TCW Psycho Circus 2020. Still, Mr. Lucha III and manager Vinny Cruz were not satisfied with it and decide to challenge "El Hijo de la Leyenda" once again, one last time! TCW King of Kings 2020

Held in front of 12,501 people in BriCo Center

At the beginning of the show, the NXT in LINE stable have a talk backstage. A clearly upset World champ, Jay Chord, tries to cover his jealousy about not having reached the final stage of the King of Kings Tournament, getting pinned by both his partners. Joshua Taylor and Greg Gauge, instead, are really pumped up and focused for their upcoming matches. This angle gets the show off to a strong start. [85]

King of Kings Semi-final: Joshua Taylor vs Mighty Mo
The first qualified in Group A, Joshua Taylor, goes against the second qualified in Group B, Mighty Mo, in a exceptional open match. After 18 mins, babyface star Mighty Mo scores the pinfall on Joshua Taylor, who falls after a good performance. Mighty Mo reaches the Final, where he will battle up with Taylor’s partner Greg Gauge, or Syndicate’s leader Wolf Hawkins. [79]

King of Kings Semi-final: Wolf Hawkins vs Greg Gauge
The first qualified in Group B, Wolf Hawkins, goes against the second qualified in Group A, Greg Gauge, in another exceptional contest. Both workers deliver a fantastic in-ring performance, but after 19 mins Wolf Hawkins is the one who comes out on top, pinning the TCW International champ with a Full Moon Rising. The NXT in LINE fail to reach the final, who will now officially features Mighty Mo vs Wolf Hawkins. [85]

In an angle backstage, “The Gem” Freddy Huggins and Edd Stone renew their absolute hate for each other, backed up by Laura Catherine Huggins and Vita. Both workers clearly enjoyed having the freedome to go off-script and have performed well during the segment. It looks like there will be one last battle in the first event of 2021. [82]

2 Out of 3 Falls: Mr. Lucha III vs Gino Montero
In the third act of their rivalry, the two mexican stars clash in a decent match. Helped by manager Vinny Cruz, Mr. Lucha III is finally able to score a pin on Gino Montero in the first fall. "El Hijo de la Leyenda" have a really hard bout following this, facing elimination at every pinfall attempt, but eventually ties the contest with a quick pin, before scoring the third and final pinfall after his Montero Press. Gino Montero defeats Mr. Lucha III once again, this time in a 18 mins 2 Out of 3 Falls match. Again, the two Mexicans unluckily don’t have good chemistry and it shows in the overall performance. [59]

The Behemots (Killer Shark, Titan) vs BLITZ! (Julius Moor, T-Bone Bright)
The Behemots and BLITZ! already collided at TCW Hotter Than Hell 2020, when Julius Moor and T-Bone Bright walked out with the win. This time, in a tag team match with fantastic heat and good wrestling, The Behemots get the win in 9 mins when Killer Shark pins Julius Moor with a Big Bite. The bout performance suffers because there was not enough selling shown. [76]

After their match, The Behemots return backstage to reunite with “Nasty” Nick Booth, leader Eddie Peak and stable manager Floyd Goldworthy. Eddie Peak congrats his guys, still despending some advice. An advice not very welcomed by Killer Shark, who swaggeringly responds to his leader that he does not need it. After all, they just defeated two heavyweights like Julius Moor and T-Bone Bright, while Eddie Peak did not even qualify for the final stages of the tournament. Eddie Peak fires back at his subordinate, before Floyd Goldworthy and Nick Booth interfere to calm the situation. [79]

AzbnjIJ.png   AzbnjIJ.png
TCW World Tag Team Titles: The Elite (Eddie Chandler, Nate Johnson) (c) vs The Biggins Boys (Bart Biggins, Brett Biggins)

In a bout that has good heat and decent wrestling, The Biggins Boys have the chance to win the TCW World Tag Team belts and do not miss, defeating champs The Elite and their dirty tricks in 15 mins. Bart Biggins, who has carried the match in terms of in-ring performance, is the one who scores the pin on Eddie Chandler after the B-Dropper. The brothers celebrate their win with the fans in attendance here at the BriCo Center. [75]

In an angle backstage, Troy Tornado simply rants about Aaron Andrews, after having injured “The Ace” with a vicious assault backstage during TCW Kings Tour Day #12. Troy Tornado really has the guts to celebrated his win on Aaron Andrews during the King of Kings Tournament, claiming that he shows everyone that he‘s better than “The Ace”. [81]

ckikqq5.png
King of Kings Final: Mighty Mo vs Wolf Hawkins

In a exceptional main event, the two qualified from Group B clash once again to become King of Kings. Both wrestlers deliver amazing performances that honestly deserve better announcing. After 23 mins and multiple nearfalls, Wolf Hawkins eventually pins Mighty Mo with a Full Moon Rising, winning the TCW King of Kings for the second time in a row. “The Alpha Wolf” raise the trophy alongside The Syndicate’s members who come out to celebrate with their leader. [81]

TCW Awards 2020

Wrestler of the Year: Jay Chord
Current TCW World Heavyweight champ Jay Chord had a massive 2020, winning the first Total Rumble match and winning the big gold at TCW Summer Showdown 2020 from Aaron Andrews. His overall Events record has been an incredible 10-2, and it also features a World title defence against five other major stars in a six-way match at TCW Psycho Circus 2020. At 30 years old, Jay Chord is THE MAN in Total Championship wrestling.

Tag Team of the Year: Human Arsenal, One Man Army (Human Army)
Human Arsenal and One Man Army started to team up at the beginning of the year, quickly becoming a huge part of TCW's tag team division. Their five months reign as champs has been really solid, started by dethroning The Behemots and ended due to The Elite's dirty tricks. We could expect reliability for the Human Army even in 2021.

Breakout Star of the Year: T-Bone Bright
Despite cooling down in mid 2020, the young powerhouse T-Bone Bright has been the breakout star of Total Championship Wrestling, having defeated Freddy Huggins clean in the ring at the beginning of the year. In the last months, T-Bone momentum revamped after the debut of another former football athlete Julius Moor, with which he formed the tag team known as BLITZ!

Match of the Year: Greg Gauge def Edd Stone @ TCW Texas Heritage Tournament Day #3
Back in September 2020, the TCW Intercontinental champ Greg Gauge and Edd Stone had a banger during the second round of the TCW Texas Heritage Tournament 2020, when Greg Gauge comes out with the win. The match received an impressive rating of 90, gaining the crown as match of the year in TCW.

Preview - TCW Malice In Wonderland 2021

Maverick vs Brendon Bradley
Young rookie Brendon Bradley debuted in hometown Toronto during TCW Open World: Canada, back in November 2020, losing to Eddie Peak after a nice performance. This time, he has to fight with fellow canadian, Maverick. The veteran, backed up by Texas Hangman, is eager to score a win to rebuild a momentum and this one versus one match is the perfect chance for him.

Troy Tornado vs Darryl Devine
With Aaron Andrews sidelined for a knee injury caused by Troy Tornado during the TCW King of Kings Tournament, Andrews’ friend Darryl Devine has decided to step upand confront Troy Tornado, willing to avenge “The Ace”. Troy Tornado has accepted the challenge, intent on reserving for Darryl Devine the same fate suffered by Aaron Andrews.

TCW World Tag Team Titles: The Biggins Boys (Bart Biggins, Brett Biggins) (c) vs The Elite (Eddie Chandler, Nate Johnson)
It’s very rare to see a back-to-back match-up here in Total Championship Wrestling. Still, Bart and Brett Biggins will defend their TCW World Tag Team titles from the assault of former champs Eddie Chandler and Nate Johnson, who lost the golds at TCW King of Kings 2020. The Elite has done everything in their power to make this bout happen and The Biggins Boys didn’t back up from a fight, sure that another win against 2-time tag champs may be a good omen for their title reign.

Mighty Mo vs One Man Army
One Man Army comes from a solid King Of Kings performance, finishing 4th in Group A behind the three NXT in LINE guys. Mighty Mo, instead, has been the runner-up of the tournament, losing the Final against Wolf Hawkins. TCW Management has decided to put the two babyfaces one against each other in a match that could have world title picture implications.

Sinner Society (Eddie Peak, Killer Shark) vs The Syndicate (Wolf Hawkins, Doc Hammond)
The hatred between Eddie Peak and Wolf Hawkins, leaders of their respective groups, keeps growing month after month, expecially after Hawkins’ win over Peak in the final round of King of Kings Group B. “The Hardcore Assassin” has a chance to score a win against “The Alpha Wolf” and the veteran Doc Hammond, but first he has to cooperate with the powerhouse Killer Shark, his subordinate who lately shown signs of insufferance and mutiny.

Freddy Huggins vs Edd Stone
Another chapter in the never ending Huggins-Stone rivalry. Both coming from a decent King of Kings Tournament and from a loss at TCW Open World: Canada, the two canadians will clash once again one versus one in the first event of 2021. “The Gem” Freddy Huggins already defeated Edd Stone at TCW Summer Showdown 2020, “The 24H Party Animal” is ready to tie the score this time. And with Laura Catherine Huggins, Vita and the respective factions behind them, it’s safe to say that interesting things could happen even at ringside.

TCW World Heavyweight Title: Jay Chord (c) vs Greg Gauge vs Joshua Taylor
2021 starts HUGE regarding the TCW World Heavyweight championship, with the members of NXT in LINE ready to collide in a must-see three-way. World champ Jay Chord has a chip on his shoulder after finishing 3rd in the King Of Kings Group A, being pinned twice by Greg Gauge and Joshua Taylor themselves. That has been enough for the other two members of the alliance to convince Jay Chord to put his title on the line in this tricky three-way match. There have been internal tensions from the beginning with these three incredible talents, all packed with egos. Will this match be last crack for their stable? Or will the winner walk out as World champ AND undisputed leader of the group? We’ll find out at TCW Malice In Wonderland 2021.

CARD FOR PREDICTIONS:
Maverick vs Brendon Bradley
Troy Tornado vs Darryl Devine
TCW World Tag Team Titles: The Biggins Boys (Bart Biggins, Brett Biggins) (c) vs The Elite (Eddie Chandler, Nate Johnson)
Mighty Mo vs One Man Army
Sinner Society (Eddie Peak, Killer Shark) vs The Syndicate (Wolf Hawkins, Doc Hammond)
Freddy Huggins vs Edd Stone
TCW World Heavyweight Title: Jay Chord (c) vs Greg Gauge vs Joshua Taylor
