Winds of Change by Asaemon

A August 1993 real world mod for TEW2016.

"Made in the USA" Lex Luger will square off against WWF champion Yokozuna at Summerslam. Mr. Perfect and the Million Dollar Man are still active wrestlers. It's the last chance to keep the old WWF guard. Will you keep the veterans or will you phase them out in favor of The New Generation? World Championship Wrestling are building towards the big War Games match at Fall Brawl between Sting, Davey Boy Smith, Dustin Rhodes and Road Warrior Hawk versus The Masters of the Powerbomb (Sid Vicious and Vader) and Harlem Heat. WCW have stars like Sting, Davey Boy Smith, Ricky Steamboat, Ric Flair, Sid Vicious, Vader and Rick Rude as well as a talented tag team division with 2 Cold Scorpio & Marcus Alexander Bagwell, Chris Benoit & Bobby Eaton, Harlem Heat and The Hollywood Blondes. The Winds of Change are blowing...

Starting storylines for the World Wrestling Federation

All Aboard The Lex Express

Lex Luger originally signed for Vince's other pet project the World Bodybuilding Federation, Luger's natural physique made him an easy choice to be the next big star of the WWF. "Made in the USA" Lex Luger slammed Yokozuna on the 4th of July and got himself a WWF title match at Summerslam.

The Undisputed King of the WWF

Jerry "The King" Lawler interrupted Bret Hart's King of the Ringcoronation, claiming he was the only king, attacking Hart and beginning a barrage against Hart and his family. The two will meet to determine the "Undisputed King of the World Wrestling Federation". Bret Hart and his younger brother, Owen Hart, would also feud with Lawler in the USWA.

Dudes with Attitudes

Shawn Michaels is feuding with former tag team partner Marty Jannetty. Diesel made his WWF debut at a house show on June 6, 1993 by assisting Michaels in defeating Marty Jannetty for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. Diesel is the new bodyguard of Shawn Michaels, with the two being known as Two Dudes with Attitudes.

The Undertaker vs. Harvey Whippleman

The Undertaker have a long running feud with wrestlers managed by Harvey Wippleman, but also have a rivalry with WWF World champion Yokozuna. The buildup for the match between Giant Gonzalez and The Undertaker began after the Undertaker defeated Kamala in a Coffin match at Survivor Series 1992. Kamala's manager Harvey Wippleman vowed revenge and introduced Gonzalez at Royal Rumble 1993, with Gonzalez attacking and eliminating the Undertaker. Gonzalez and the Undertaker wrestled at WrestleMania IX, and Gonzalez knocked the Undertaker unconscious with a chloroform-soaked rag. The feud intensified when Wippleman, Gonzalez and Mr. Hughes attacked the Undertaker and his manager, Paul Bearer. They stole the urn, the supposed source of the Undertaker's strength, and used it to assault Paul Bearer, who was not seen again until SummerSlam. The feud came to a head at SummerSlam in a Rest In Peace match.

The Steiners vs. The Quebecers

Both team have been pushed to the top of the WWF tag team division and the feud began when The Quebecers challenged The Steiner Brothers for the titles.

The Cash Grab

Jobber "The Kid" scored an upset pinfall on Razor Ramon. Razor challenged him to a rematch, wagering $10,000 of his own money. Kid accepted the challenge, but grabbed the money and ran from the arena during the match. Ted DiBiase, who was feuding with Razor, taunted him over losing to a nobody. Ramon helped The 1–2–3 Kid defeat DiBiase, solidifying his face turn while taking Kid under his wing.

Ludvig Borga's Undefeated Streak

In July 24 Ludvig Borga debuted in the WWF, a heel Finn who appeared in a series of vignettes castigating Americans for their perceived deficiencies in issues such as environmental laws and their educational system. His singlet is adorned with the Finnish flag, and his entrance music is Maamme, the country's national anthem. After an initial streak of squash victories over enhancement talent former Intercontinental Champion Marty Jannetty is the next opponent.

Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Tatanka

Following King of the Ring 1993 , Bam Bam Bigelow and his "main squeeze" Luna Vachon began feuding with the Native American Tatanka.

Crush the Clown

Doink play cruel jokes on both fans and wrestlers to both amuse himself and catch his victims off-guard. Some of his villainous pranks includes attacking Crush with a loaded prosthetic arm. He clashed with Crush at WrestleMania IX, a match which he won after the appearance of an identical Doink from underneath the ring. At the first King of the Ring, Crush challenged Shawn Michaels for the Intercontinental Championship, but lost the match after a distraction by Doink.

Fun for all the Family

The Bushwhackers (Butch & Luke) & Tiger Jackson have been feuding with Little Louie & The Beverly Brothers (Beau Beverly & Blake Beverly) since early 1993. When Beau Beverly left the WWF, he was first replaced by Damian Demento and then The Brooklyn Brawler.

Starting storylines for World Championship Wrestling

The Masters of the Powerbomb

At Beach Blast, The Superpowers (Sting and Davey Boy Smith) defeated The Masters of the Powerbomb (Vader and Sid Vicious) in a tag team match when Smith pinned Vader. As a result of pinning Vader, Smith earned a title shot against Vader for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship at the following month's Clash of the Champions.

Who is the greatest?

Rick Rude have switched his sights from the WCW United States title to the WCW International World Heavyweight Championship. Rude calls Fifi a gold digger and have promised to take Ric Flair's title and woman. Rude also stated he would master all of Flair's dirty tactics when they face off.

The Hollywood Blondes

The Hollywood Blonds won won the championships from Steamboat and Douglas in march 1993. After the feud with Steamboat and Douglas ended, they went on to feud with The Four Horsemen, mainly Ric Flair and Arn Anderson, mocking their ages and parodying Flair's interview show, "A Flair for the Gold", with their own called "A Flair for the Old".

Steven the Conqueror

The British villain "Lord Steven Regal" is claiming descent from William the Conqueror and Sir William is serving as his interfering manager. Regal is here for the WCW TV title and Ricky Steamboat is in his way.

WCW Television Championship

Paul Orndorff won a 16-man tournament to win the vacant WCW TV title. Orndorff since then turned back the challenges of Ron Simmons and Marcus Bagwell, amongst others, holding on to his TV title by any means necessary. Ice Train is still on a undefeated streak and is excited to be just like his mentor, Ron Simmons, but the former WCW World Heavyweight champion isn't thrilled. Simmons is still bitter and feel like the fans abandoned him after he lost the championship.

I'm trying to adding more content each day into the 1993 and 1994 mods. Current number of workers are 3617 (but I would like to make it 4000). I've added a lot of unique Mexican and Japanese talent that are missing in all other mods.

If anyone have suggestions for active workers or yet to debut talent you can post it here as long as there is a available birth year for the talent.
