Ted is laughing as he pulls out his briefcase and puts it on the table. Ted is in his Million Dollar suit and Magnus is wearing a sharp white suit. [I]Ted – “Here it is my man! Our World Title Shot!!!” Magnus – “Im gonna destroy the competition Mr.Dibiase. Im sure after ive signed this contract, no one else will sign it, and Bret Hart, will have no choice but to hand me the title belt!” Ted – “Haha!!! Everybodies got a price!!! HAHA!........wait……”[/I] Dibiase looks at the contract and holds it up to his face closer……He looks shocked… [I]Ted – “…..its already been signed…..my god……”[/I] Dibiase hands the contracts to Magnus with a shocked look on his face…. We see shots of the crowd such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sly Stallone & Bruce Willis, Michael Jordan and even Oprah are in attendance....also WCW faces such as Bret Hart, son Blade & The Neidharts. The camera then cuts upto Schiavone, who like the crowd in attendance, is in a suit and tickey bo. [I]Tony - "Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to WCW Live from Planet Hollywood! We would like to thank the establishment for allowing us to bring you this very special evening in WCW.....We tonight, find out who the other man in the WCW Title match will be, and i assure you, its a big one for WCW. If this is surpose to be Canadian WCW then shouldnt most of the shows be in Canada or Nothern America? Expect Bret himself to help train several superstars, much like what we saw in the vignettes for The New Hart Foundation, Michael & Teddy hart. WCW have set up the start of their house show schedule. Expect the company to begin touring this month in USA, Canada, UK & Japan. WCW have agreed a PPA deal with former WWE&ECW star Tajiri, He is expected to be a talent in the cruiserweight division. 2 written contracts were signed last night. Jimmy Hart has signed with the promotion on a 2 year deal. Expect him to manage a tag team, most likely to be the mouth piece for the New Hart Foundation. Also the cousin of Shawn Michaels, Matt Bentley has signed a lucrative 3 year deal with Bret Hart. Hart is impressed by what he saw of Bentley. Expect a nice push for the youngster. He could also be part of the higher card cruiserweight division in the new WCW. Sensationally LA Park, or La Parka has turned down WCWs offer to return to the company. The Sandman, recently released by ECW has signed a PPA deal with the company. Does this mean a possible future Hardcore division? This could be more be true with the fact that Johnny Swinger has also signed a PPA deal with WCW. The company has also signed 2 legends to deals. Expect them to work backstage for the Hart Family. Ricky Steamboat & Sgt Slaughter will join up as Road Agents in the very near future. Sensationally WCW & WWE Legend Ric Flair has re-signed with the promotion!! Expect him to work a light schedule with WCW. His son David also signed a PPA deal with the company. The Flair familys trusted friend Arn Anderson has also signed a deal with WCW. Former WWE Broadcaster Josh Matthews has signing a deal with WCW, expect him to work a similar role of that of Nick Hogan, in a backstage correspondant role. Rumours are that Mark Magnus will win the World Title at the Stampede, and a top former WWE Supserstar is set to be part of this big storyline. Magnus however isnt. We are unsure of how the names will be, but the rumoured story is set to revolve around another WCW Invasion, much like the original nWo, but this time from 2 former bitter WCW Superstars. This top superstar could be one of the men who opposes the invasion. Of course these plans could change. If Mark Magnus wins the title, expect him & Ted Dibiase to form a corporation and battle a number of face challengers, with the challengers being heavy underdogs due to the corporations interference. WCW B- Rating [B]****[/B] Steve Austin comes out to the podium and delivers a scathing promo in which he questions the actions of Ted Dibiase and Mark Magnus. He then states that it is now his mission to make the life of Million Dollar Man and Magnus a living hell. WCW Rating A* [B]****[/B] [B]WCW Heavyweight Championship Match "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs "Marvellous, Million Dollar" Mark Magnus[/B] Mark Magnus defeated Steve Austin in 17:57 by pinfall by using underhanded tactics, when Ted Dibiase tasered Steve Austin behind the refs back. Mark Magnus wins the WCW Heavyweight title. Referee - Goose Mahoney WCW Rating A* Steve Austin was visibly tiring toward the end. The match suffered because there was not enough selling shown. The announcing job done by Jonathan Coachman was pretty weak. The WCW storyline has continued with this match. This match lifted the crowd. [B]****[/B] Steve Austin is toasting the crowd with beers in the ring, although he lost. "STING & GOLDBERG! STING & GOLDBERG!" Both men make their ways down to the ring in casual clothes and shades on....the crowd are cheering, until they unveil baseball bats and point at Stone Cold! Some of the fans are still cheering, although a lot are booing! They sensationally hit the ring........Both men attack Austin, although he tries kicking out in reply, but Sting knocks him down with a shot of the bat to to his head.... Goldberg then picks him up and Jackhammers Austin....Blood is pooring from his head as Austin is laid out....the fans are booing like mad and throwing objects down to the ring!!! THEN..... "RAVEN! RAVEN!! RAVEN!!!" Raven runs out from the crowd and over the railings...he stares at Goldberg & Sting and smiles....he then pulls out from his back pocket a Bat!!!!!!! He begins hitting himself on the head until he bleeds as both Goldberg & Sting look on....then he hits the ring and swings at Both men!! the fans go wild!!! a "Raven" chant breaks out as Raven cleans house!!!!! My god what a way to end here tonight!!! Goldberg & Sting attacked Steve Austin....then Raven made the save!!! The show ends with a shot of Austin down in a puddle of blood, Raven standing in front of him smiling to Sting & Goldberg who he just flurried out the ring! WCW Calgary Stampede Review From PWTORCH.COM[/B] The main event was already a classic before the unfolding of what could be one of the biggest feuds in wrestling. Sting & Goldberg coming back to the promotion as bitter heels is a stroke of genius by Bret Hart & his team. By attacking already fan favourite Steve Austin is genius. Sting & Goldberg are like the Outsiders, only talented. And who would have thought the swerve run in at the end to save Stone Cold would be from Raven?! Its genius! Raven & Stone Cold vs Sting & Goldberg!! Genius! What a way to bring fans from all over the US & World interest to WCW. “Marvellous” Mark Magnus?! He certainly proved it last night by beating Austin, Dibiase or no Dibiase! He is the future of wrestling. And WWEs loss is WCWs gain! Him & Dibiase is a masterstroke in a partnership! Bret Hart announcing the return of Nitro is brilliant for WCW. Enough said. Monday Night Wars. So many plus points from last night aswell, “Super” Kenny Doane is superb, The Untouchables look…well Untouchable….Lyger-Kidman-Hardy was as good as we thought it could be!!!! A Column from [url]www.obsessedwithwrestling.com[/url][/B] The rumours are circulating that even as soon as being just 2 weeks into his reign as Owner of WCW, Bret Hart invited Matt Cappotelli to Calgary. For those of you unware, Matt Cappotelli was a young superstar making waves as part of “The Thrillseekers” in OVW & he was also OVW Champion. Unfortunately 6months ago he was diagnosed with a brain tumour and retired from wrestling. Only a small handful of people have any knowledge on how Matt Cappotelli was developing during his treatment. But, this week Bret Hart had young Cappotelli come to his home in Calgary where he offered him a contract with WCW. Matt maybe still recovering from his tumour, but he has apparently been training for a return to the ring for 6weeks now. Hart knew this and showed great faith and care by offering Cappotelli a spot in WCW. We understand he bit his hand off!! Either way, Bret Hart showed great compassion for the young Thrillseeker and we hope that this time in a year, Matt Cappotelli is proving all his doubters wrong by being a real impact player in WCW. Of course this isn’t the only time Bret Hart has given a former wrestler an olive branch back to wrestling. Before WCW returned, he signed the former Muhammed Hassan to a deal to work as a take on Mark Copani himself aka Mark Magnus. He also paved the way for Ted Dibiase to return to wrestling. We’ve also seen Steve Austin return to the ring and look focused, but also full of desire. Goldberg & Sting look angry and more importantly focused. Also the other (health related) member joining WCW was Bobby “The Brain” Heenan. All WCW have been feeling right at home with him as colour commentator on our screens. A column from PWTORCH.COM[/B] Since WCW returned in July we have been waiting for some good news that Nitro may be reborn into the 21st Century. Now we have that good news. When WCW returned at the start of July we had 4 weekly Events hyping the return of WCW at the Sunday Wk1 August 2006 event Calgary Stampede. The event was a huge success and Bret Hart coincedently announced the return of Nitro on that night. But.....we had to wait a month! Its now just days away before the immenant rebirth of Nitro, and WCW has had 3 weeks of running house shows every day and concreting a roster. Being just days away from the return of the Monday Night Wars is more exciting than Rock-Hogan, more exciting than the Invasion & more exciting than the return of ECW........imagine on one channel WWE RAW with Triple H vs Batista, and on the other channel Steve Austin vs Sting!!! Raven & Austin is an odd pairing but a pairing that wud please alot of diverse fans!!
